Opinions de Miguel's Jr Menifee
Fantastic experience! We've eaten at a couple other Miguel's Jr's in the past and were very disappointed so I went in with a lot of doubts, apprehension and low expectations. However they knocked my socks off! The service was outstanding. The cashier was very friendly, patient and helpful. We had a variety of foods due to 4 people ordering and everything was delicious. The nachos were enough for several people to share, they would be a filling meal for one person. The shredded beef was delicious and we were surprised with the amount of it put on the nachos. Loved the crispy chips and the cheese sauce was the perfect blend of melted creaminess and cheesiness. The guacamole was tasty (it's very smooth so if you expect chunks they wont be there! But give it a try it is really good!). They were great with the chips as well as as a dip for the taquitos. The taquitos only come in the chicken flavor. They were perfectly cooked and had a nice flavor as well as a bit of crunch. The rice and beans were very good together, nice homemade flavors and not overly spicy. The burritos we ordered were fairly large very filling according to the guys in our group. Both reported perfect ratio of fillings and seasoning and stated the flavors were "spot on". For a fast food Mexican resturant the food seems to surprisingly homemade. Service was fast. Prices were pretty reasonable. The counter area, cooking area (that I could see) and dining area was clean and well stocked. One thing I learned tonight was not all stores in a chain are the same! In this case it was a very pleasant surprise!
Miguel's Jr is our go-to quick Mexican food fix. No time to make dinner and love Mexican food? You can't go wrong here. Everything on the menu is good. And the employees are very polite and professional.
We like the food here, go at least once a week if not twice. I like the bean, rice and cheese burrito wet and shredded beef tacos. My husband gets the shredded beef enchiladas. Yummy. It's always clean there too.
Miguel's Jr., is a great Authentic Mexican Food Restaurant. The food is simply fantastic! The service and prices are great! I highly recommend it.
I have been eating at Miguel's jr. For many years. The food is still well prepared and delicious. The food portions are generous and serve hot. The hot sauce is a legend in the city of Corona where the restaurant began. The seating area is moderately large but can become crowded. Parking at this location is ample however it shares the parking area with a workout gym.
This is an Inland Empire staple. There are lots of tacos at so many places, and they're probably the only sizable chain that fills the niche between basic fast-food and sit down restaurants. They didn't take quite as big of a hit on our current price increases as their competitors this time around. Nice guacamole and flautas. I love their shredded beef and asada items. They also make the only fast food chain that makes nice chili rellenos (a big favorite) in this area.
Fast service. Good prices and lots to choose from. Their chicken is tasty and so is the guacamole. Recently tried the chili rellno burrito and it's great.
Great Mexican food to go! ...as close to authentic as you can get fast. I sometimes forget how tasty their tacos are (so yum!). When I get Iine at In-n-Out and realize i dont have to wait 30min for a burger, i hop out of line and into Miguel's & have our food in 5min. 👍
Great food. Quick service. Love this place!
Always a great meal, every time. Beans and rice are excellent, the green chili/cheese tamales are my new favorite. Keep them all year long please! Good job Miguel's.
My son loves their bean and cheese burritos! I love the famous garbage burrito. The taquitos are an especially great deal! My wife loves the small rabbit pellet ice cubes so everyone enjoys Miguels Night. I wish they had a few more options but the menu is very good. Always hot and made fresh!
The quality, for those Initiated, is for all intents and purposes the same as the flagship dining restaurant which is t say, fantastic! Even the tortillas are somehow delicious. The burrito box with guacamole and chips is frankly for the price especially but just in general, phenom-tier if only for the chips and the guac 🥑 which is real and simple imperfectly ripe but the shredded beef and cheese are straight from the example guide of why California is the capital of Mexican food I believe it is it a law somewhere that you have to agree with me only on this one thing at least. But seriously the hot sauce even which is simple as it gets an absolutely delicious down to even it's scoville ranking. I rarely give excited reviews put this place is rules and it's super consistent and never too busy on the weekdays it's like Marcos is for pizza 4 hole in the wall Mexican food if you can't stand Chipotle like me this place will kick you and me savory spot.
Such great prices for filling food. Very good military discount, around 25-30% off
I love their food, so delicious. I just wish we had one closer in Hemet or San Jacinto! Especially like the beans, rice and cheese burrito. Add cilantro and onions with some of their red sauce. Yum.
First place I stopped for dinner when I came to California. No other place can say that. Garbage Burrito extra meet extra cheese, side of potatoes, and a tea. I hadn't had Miguel Jr's in about 9 years, and it was even better than I remembered!!!
It was my first time there, my sister took me. I had the garbage burrito. Oh my goodness, it was delicious! Will definitely go back when i'm in the area. Not only was the food good, the lady at the front that took our order was so pleasant and very patient with all my questions and answering them all since it was my first time there.
Love the brc burrito!!!! My favorite……
Shout out to Andrew taking orders outside very professional! And the guy at the window was also kind! Overall great experience tonight.
This is my all time favorite restaurant and I have never had a problem with my order, plus they give you a ridiculous amount of chilies without charging extra. 10/10
Great food and friendly staff. Can never go wrong with this establishment.
I just ordered food through the drive thru on 9/11/2020 and their customer service is absolutely amazing. Colby took my order and I don’t think I’ve ever been treated better. A girl handed me the food and she was just as pleasant I’m probably spelling her name wrong but I believe it’s Kera. The manager who was a male was awesome as well. Thank you guys keep up the great work, it’s greatly appreciated!!
My first time. Had the quesadilla with pork. Large portions. Very hot. Yes! Not lukewarm like other places. Made fresh. Husband had 2 tacos. Hot and dicious. Also there was a line but it moves quickly. Our new place.
Great service. Food was good and reasonably priced. 03-08-2022 revisited Miguel Jr's...ordered a potato, cheese and meat burrito ($6.94). Actually not a bad price, lots of BIG chunks of meat, lots of cheese and potatoes cooked all the way. Poured some green sause on it.....yummy...yummy!
I really like their food, so many yummy choices! The service was great, staff friendly.
Everybody is very polite there. Food is always great
Family favorite. Try the garbage burrito wet (with their amazing sauce)
We came on a midweek morning and enjoyed their beef machaca burrito and the green pig burrito. The burritos were hefty, piping hot, and very flavorful. Definitely the best breakfast burritos we’ve tried in the area! Totally worth it
Burritos were great and the staff were excellent, let's only hope the customers can be as helpful as the staff and pick up their own trash, I hope most people don't live in the filth at home that they leave at restaurants.
Great quality food and the employees are friendly and helpful…
I think their prices are fair for the amount of food you get. The customer service is excellent. Nice people. Food was excellent and hot. Tasty. Bang for your buck. Fast service. Very clean place.
We came to eat here and one of my daughters is vegan and one is vegetarian. There was an employee named Rocio who really went out of her way to make sure we could find something for them to eat! Very sweet and very helpful thank you
Juan was super nice and food was great!
This place is actually pretty good i was surprised they have good quality food
Friendly staff, fast service and food is excellent and quality is consistent. The shift manager was hands on with her team, checking each order before customer pick up. Exemplary customer service!
We love their food here always good my son has a gluten allergy so it's a great place for him to eat
The el potato burrito is a work of art. 10/10
Miguel's Jr. is a place I can eat and know I'm always going to get fresh, hot just prepared Mexican food. Everything is very delicious, but my favorite is the chicken tacos. The Best! Always tender juicy, delicious chicken with cheese and lettuce. The taco shells are not too crispy and not too soft. Fried to perfection. Miguel's Jr. is known for their secret hot sauce . Both the red or green sauces are very good. They offer dinner meals that includes rice and beans. I must say the rice is cooked to perfection. The portions of food is very generous. The staff are friendly and have a clean professional look. Whenever I eat inside, the tables are clean and the hot sauce bar is well stocked and very clean. I give Miguel's Jr. a 5 star 🌟 rating. I've been dining at Miguel's Jr. for years and have never had a bad or cold meal. The Miguel's Jr. in Grand Terrace marches all points as well.
My MIGUEL'S JR. OF CHOICE! ! Miguel's Jr. is a staple in my household and we love this location. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant's atmosphere is inviting! I'm Mexican and I know good food, Miguel's has amazing selections of meats, burritos, and seasonal offerings (ex. tamales during the winter). I stop by regularly for a burrito or bowl. I love the burrito box deal which comes with a burrito and chips. PRO TIP: Order a wet burrito, the red sauce is so delicious. This restaurant is very clean and always maintained. I see the staff regularly cleaning every inch of the restaurant. The service is fast and friendly here and the atmosphere is welcoming.
Food was okay. The carne asada was definitely been sitting a while too long. Everything else was okay. Maybe this time was a one off because I've been to this location before and it was great! Service was good. Which is hard to get these days.
Going to Miguel's Jr is always a treat for me I use to have it in highschool in corona .Now that I'm close to hemet im glad they have a Miguel's Jr in Menifee . Everything still taste the same even after 15 plus years. What I do miss from the menu is the orange 🍊 bang unfortunately they discontinued it last year in late 2022. My visit to this Miguel's was nice Kassandra V. Helped me at the register around 1030 she was kind and courteous. Everything was clean and nice she even brought my food to the table as well. I also forgot to mention i love there cruchy ice its small and light and good on your teeth compared to other fast-food places. If they could put one in hemet I be even happier.
Update 1/29/22 We had Miguel's today for lunch. It was great today,so fresh. Nice work to those workers there that day. I ordered a chicken salad and it was well done. Plenty of salad, chicken that wasn't sopping wet, and fresh avocado on top. It was a very decent salad, and could be split between two or three people. My son ordered the garbage burrito enchilada style, and that was a great garbage burrito as well. Plenty of meat and fresh ingredients. Old review here: Last night the food was great, plenty of chicken inside. The only problem that I have is they don't spread the burrito insides. They just leave it in globs inside your burrito. I want the guac and sour cream spread through the burrito, not just all at one end. So take note, you must open your burrito back up and spread the insides out.
Clean and a decent value for the money. I was not very impressed by the guacamole but the chips are nice and thin and crispy. The rolled tacos were good. Beans and rice were also very good.
Manager here on 5/28/2021 should not be a manager. The employees under her had much better customer service abilities. They got my order wrong. No big deal. It happens, but it’s how you treat someone that matters. She aggressively took the wrong food from me to throw it away and put an emphasis on “I’m throwing it away”. Suggesting I want free food or something. Lady, I just want what I paid for. You are welcome to waste the order you got wrong. That’s on you. I get it’s a tough job. Sorry you are having such a bad day. 1 star for you. 5 star for Miguel’s food. Leaving a 3 because the incorrect food happens too often at this location. ***Update*** Corporate did reach out to me as you can see in their response. I really appreciate that they took the time to reply, so 4 stars overall. Thank you!
Not bad at all. I enjoy the food at this location and service is rather quick. This is one of my go to spots when I'm in the area and would highly recommend it to others. P.s. personal favorite are the nachos.
Really good burritos for quick fix but little pricy for the brc and bean and cheese burritos
I can't complain everything is OK, this is Mexican fast food, better then taco bell not as good as a real Mexican restaurant, their salsa is mild their chile Verde is very mild almost can't taste, love their beans(creamy and plenty of cheese) they don't have bold Mexican taste but they are good for the heat challenged people, good tacos and salsa if you don't want heat burn 😂
We had asked for 2 additional tortillas and were charged three cents each. Afterwards we had asked how much for 2 dozen to go. They charges up $ 3.00 a dozen. We realized that they are in business to make money. But their calculations were way off. Originally we were quote 3 cents each .
For a fast food place, it's pretty good and they walked the food out to us, the girl was nice.
I felt a bit odd ordering a "wet garbage" burrito, but it was worth it. As a San Diego native I have been raised on great taco shop burritos, and this one measured up well. Only lost one star because they DONT have the white cheese sauce that they have at the full restaurant... which is the #1 reason to go to miguels!
It is a nice clean space. Just no real ambiance. Doesn't feel like you are in a Mexican restaurant. Only counter service offered and food is good but not anything to write home about. Staff are friendly, and the dining room is casual and relaxed. Not too noisy with plenty of parking available.
Tried for the first time. Ordered a chicken burrito to go. The food was good. Employees were nice Service was fast. The dining area was clean Tried for second time Ordered chicken burrito wet And Chili Verde burrito. Different employees from 1st visit Same service. Everyone was really nice Dinning room once again was very clean. And food was good!
The carne asada did not taste like carne asada. They are normally good but they have change there meat and I will not be going back to this location.
One of the things that annoys me about fast food restaurants like McDonald's or Jack-in-the-Box is that when you go through the drive-thru, they often park you, then deliver your order. It totally defeats the purpose of a drive thru and the phrase "fast food!" That being said, Miguel's has really quick drive thru times, and you are never parked and forced to wait even longer. I have to say, that is a huge reason I come back; my time isn't wasted. I guess when you are next to In-N-Out (it's literally the same parking lot), you have to be top game to compete with them. Service could be a bit friendlier, but honestly, it's not rude, so I can't complain since food orders get out pretty fast. I always order the same thing (taquitos plate shreeded beef), and it's always pretty good with gratuitous guacamole and cheese; gotta appreciate that.
Their wait time, food quality & taste is better than average. Their food prices are reasonable. But they don’t have Pico De Gallo, which is very unusual for a Mexican restaurant!
Food quality has gotten better, but they need better management. They don't know what they're doing in there. Always seems chaotic. Customers always complaining This place is slowly going downhill. From horribly wrapped burritos, getting orders wrong, long waits at the drive-thru.
This location constantly messes up on my order. And I don’t notice it until I arrive home but I rather just deal with it then driving all the way back . I love Miguels Jr but this specific location really has to step up their quality check game. Today I ordered a carne asada fiery burrito. When I got home and started eating there was absolutely not even one piece of asada in my burrito. Not too long ago on another order I was short a fee items. I’ve been to a few locations but this one glitches a lot.
Bad experience today. I ordered the taco combo and requested they be extra crispy. They came out soggy and cold. My daughter's food was not brought out with our other meals, we were told it was coming right up. After 15 minutes and nothing came I went to the counter only to be told I'm so sorry. Apparently they forgot my kids food. When it did come out the meat for her carne asada taco came bloody. I returned the combo and told them we had requested the meat well done. The box was taken from me and handed to a cook. She took the meat from the taco and threw it on flat iron and smashed on the meat, beating it to oblivion in an attempt to cook it more. Several minutes later she threw the meat back into the now cold tortilla and handed me back my box. I don't know, just seems wrong. Anyhow during the time I was there I heard the prep people apologize to just about every person that received there meals. It appeared just about all were either late or missing something or wrong in some way. Ultimately I don't blame them, i blame management and their inability to correct these problems.
First time trying Miguel's Jr. . With few late night dining choices we tried Miguel's Jr because we wanted to try their Tamales that we found out they had after phoning them. We had mixed reviews the rice seemed under cooked(kinda of hard) the beans were good. We liked the Tamales which came in chicken and pork, we tried them both. I also tried the carne asada tacos. They are simple. Meat onions and cilantro. The meat seemed tough, but if it was chopped smaller like the authentic street tacos probably would have been great. The chips are great and the guacamole is good. The service was fabulous and welcoming even though we arrived shortly before closing time. Sorry no pics we were hungry, lol
Okay this is my first time here and I'm a bit disappointed with my visit. First the service was okay. Being it's my first time and letting the employee know that it was that they would provide recommendations or suggest popular dishes, but unfortunately neither were provided. I ended up with a pretty safe order which was the carne asada burrito, but that surprised me. I'm used to getting burritos the size of my forearm for the price, but the size was more of a can of soda.
Always order delivery. Food is good. They get the order wrong 50% of the time and I'd say 50/50 they add the sauce, which is mandatory! The site has an issue when trying to order the 2 item meal, it won't allow me to add the enchiladas, when they are 1 of the options. I made them aware of this 2 times, but its still an issue. So I have to order the enchilada dinner all separately. Single rice, single beans, single chicken enchilada, single chicken enchilada, it ends up costing a bit more so I stopped ordering from them.
Normally I enjoy your crispy beef tacos, but lately they have been soft and fall apart before I finish. please make them crisp shells. thank you
I stopped here to buy a loaded potato bowl but it was full of grease and barley meat and the bowl was half full with a tiny piece of cilantro. I usually get it at lake Elsinore and it’s better there I should have stopped at lake Elsinore instead they give full portions
Ordered 3 burritos for 30$. When picking up my order I told the staff thank you have a nice day- she just looked at me with no response-kinda rude butb whatever. But the food was MId. Small burritos with little meat and more rice than anything. Won't go back
Grew up, loving Miguel's. A customer over 40 years! Craving it!!! Quality is not what it used to be (new locations). Very sad. Sometimes, they get our order right. The Menifee and Murrieta locations are hit or miss. Sometimes, they don't put any cheese on your food. I guess that saves money (?). Items missing. Quesadillas are never at ALL brown on the outside. Don't know how the cheese melts. Burrito with no cheese and the tortilla just fell apart, taquitos with brown guacamole one night! I've been eating Miguel's since I was a kid, never had this before. One night, we spent over $9 on a Carne asada quesadilla. It was so tough, my husband (who would eat almost anything) had to pick out the meat. It was ALL gristle. It was almost like when they cut the meat, it was the bad pieces you would remove first. It was very bad. Another night, I ordered a BEAN tostada at the drive-through. Got home... I had a CRISPY TORTILLA, WITH LETTUCE, TOMATO, AND A TRICKLE OF CHEESE. NO BEANS AT ALL! I drove 15 minutes each way to bring home dinner. I called Miguel's, and the manager said, "Oh, we are out of beans, Noone told you?" I was so mad. I wasn't driving back. I thought I was being "pranked" or something. My next question is, how does a Mexican restaurant ever run out of beans? Anyway, when it's good, it's great. But they need better consistency. It happens too often. Corona location is still awesome, thank goodness. We loved Miguel's so much, we still go back and try again.
I've always loved Miguel's Jr. but I've been really disappointed in my experience with this particular Miguel's Jr. When we order their famous Bean Rice and Cheese burritos, or even the El Potato with cheese we're always disappointed to find that the cheese is cold and not melted. I took my sister here this last week and she ordered an El Potato burrito with chicken and the cheese was cold and not melted so we took it back and she asked them to heat the cheese. They remade her burrito and this is what we got. The burrito was literally dripping water and grease. It was a very disappointing experience and my mom hardly goes there anymore because of these constant repetitive issues despite her talking to them in advance. The Miguel's Jr. in Corona, Ca is by far the best Miguel's we have ever had and I hope that this Miguel's can work on meeting up to higher standards.
Came in to grab a quick bite after long car problem night/morning. Place just opened and empty of customers. However, had to wait like 2 mins to order because cashier needed to finish his story. Regardless, he was friendly and thorough. My mother thought her taco was like heaven on earth; although over priced (almost $4 p/taco). I however, thought the food was mediocre @ best and lacking heavily on flavor. Ordered the fiery taquitos for the road and ended up having to come back because they were made wrong and lacking ingredients I paid extra for. They did however replace my food and provided a free drink for the issue and heat as a result. So customer service was greatly appreciated, but food quality & taste unpleasant. Never didn't love the food from other locations.
Nothing about this place specifically, but Miguel's Jr in general is pretty bland. The tortilla on the dumpster burrito (if I remember the name correctly) was pretty hard and raw. Got the hardshell taco which was decent, but better than the burrito. Not my go to spot for fast food Mexican food.
I thought it was a fluck but I guess they just don't my good meats anymore. Ordered the carne asada and it's not steak anymore it looked like roast beef and was very disappointed. I guess after growing up on miguel's in corona somewhere they lost the quality.
I had a chicken enchilada and Chile relleno with bean and rice. The rice was dry and the beans were drowned by the enchilada sauce and the Chile relleno was flat and nasty drowned by the enchilada sauce.
As Miguel's being a fave of mine, ive never been disappointed with them until now. Then i read this location reviews. Looks like the boss needs to spend more time at this location. The guy who took my order was great. The girl who took my payment (she is only there for a check..she dont look happy to be there). Which is fine and not my complaint. 1. Why do i have to hand over my expensive phone to someone who touches many things throughout the day with money other people's hands , ppl credit cards and food and I take a chance of them dropping it? Just to use tap, a payment option you offer and i have to let you take me phone? Never again 2. I specifically questioned the taco shell options.. i chose hard shell.. theyre poor attept at hard taco is, they put in the fryer for maybe 30 second because it was soggy on the bottom and the very first bite everything fell out.. Ill never come ba k and i hope no one else does either u til someone cares for this location and fixes things Miguel should be pissed
This is my second time. I know this isn't authentic Mexican food, however the last time I got nachos they weren't too bad and I was nearby. There was literally nobody in the drive-thru and I still had to wait awhile. I paid extra for carne asada and it says it on the receipt however I did NOT get carne asada, it's shredded beef which isn't an extra charge. I just feel fast food is that fast to wait so long when there's nobody and then to get home with an incorrect order and not get what you paid for is ridiculous. Lesson learned won't return
Don't order any burritos with rice. We've tried several times. We've ordered the shredded beef and the BRC many times. They will give you 80-90% all rice. Also, we spent 16 Dollars for a burrito the size of my palm. Yea. They are not consistent with the size of their food. We've decided to no longer eat here. They are literally cheating their customers. We are going to report them to the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
If you don’t mind microwaved yellow cheese nachos, this is your place. I ordered beef nachos ... didn’t find the beef till I had finished the chips laying on top. The only thing delicious about these nachos was the beans. Stick to bean n cheese burritos if you want something worthwhile. Oh n the guacamole and sour cream come in separate containers. Now if you really want garbage.... order the garbage burrito!!!! Close to nothing meat ... all beans and over priced. Stick to the bean n cheese burritos!!!! And if your wondering why they have no line and in n out across the way has ALL the business.... just try their fake Mexican food.
Meat was chewy, fatty, and crispy. Taco salad was too big. I’d prefer smaller, higher quality salad for the same price. The chocoflan tasted flat. I would not recommend.
I order shredded beef tacos and they handed me the shredded beef tacos with flour soft tortillas when returning food the staff refused to reimburse me for my expenses didn't even care to offer replacing food. I have been a Loyal customer since Fontana High School could not believe how the Latter Day Saints employees treated me. Sonia Jcqln Doak formerly known as Sonia Jcqln Pena
Seriously THE WORST burrito I have ever eaten. $13 for a tiny burrito and a small drink, I guess the Jr. means tiny burritos with absolutely NO flavor, the tortilla wasn't even heated up. AVOID this place, do yourself a favor and drive up the parking lot to Chipotle for a fat flavorful burrito twice the size of the one I just forced down because I was hungry. NEVER AGAIN!
Long, long time customer of Miguel's. Managers need to address quality control asap! Chicken taco has become pathetic, same size as Jack's value taco, at triple the price. Lemonade, usually my favorite, taste like it was from the mop bucket. Don't waste your money at Miguel's until they improve the quality.
Not sure if their employees are hard of hearing or what. But shouldn’t take me saying my order 3 times into the mic. And STILL correcting it when she said my total. Get my food, get home to find out it was completely wrong. This is right at opening.. come on guys can’t be that stressful at 10am.. 👎🏼👎🏼
This was my first time to try this restaurant, i have driven by multiple times and decided to stop and try their food today. I ordered thier original shredded beef burrito, it was ok, not the best but eatable, it tasted like it had to much comino. About an 30 minutes later i got terrible heartburn, i had to drink alot of water to try to keep it from bubbling out, i had heartburn all day, it did not stop until around 11:00pm. This will be my first and last time i will eat there.
8/1/25 11:00 a.m. got sick and the food wasnt that good the chile relleni tasted off and i got sick
I had just come from the bank where I took out cash from the ATM. $100 in 20s. The only cash in my wallet. I paid for my food with a $20. Cashier gave me change for a $10. I spoke up and she fought me on it. I asked to talk to the manager. Manager came.out and told me there were no 20s in the drawer. How is that possible? All I HAD were 20s. I keep a clean and empty wallet, so I know there is no mistaking what cash I had on me. Thought I share in case the employee is pulling a scam (keeps 10s in her pocket and switches them out) and there are others who have experienced this at the Menifee location.
I haven't eaten at Miguel's in years , and will not, go there anymore , I ordered the garbage burrito. That is exactly what I got garbage!!! The meat was so salty I could not eat it, there's 20 bucks down the drain
I ate this yesterday afternoon and a few hours later I started feeling sick. Turns out I had food poisoning it was the absolute worst. I’m never going back to this place I knew the meat didn’t look great but I still ate it because I was hungry. Last time ever going to this place the burritos aren’t that great either I only decided to stop there because my siblings like it there , but after what happened it’s their last time as well they got food poisoning as well. We all got the original burrito. I’m sure the meat was old or it just wasn’t good. But they still served it to us.
Don't know what happened to this place. Rent too high+covid? They skimp on your ingredients and don't know how to wrap burritos. Last time I will probably come here after 2-3 times of being disappointed. Ordered a BC and my cheese wasn't even melted. Luke warm burrito. Sigh. Worth it to drive the extra miles to go to the other Miguel's.
First time trying this spot and I give it a 2 out of 10 rating. I ordered the steak Garbage burrito (thats literally the name of it) and it was very disappointing. The steak was raw and very chewy. The pieces of steak were to large to enjoy. I honestly would not go back to this spot. It's a disgrace to Mexican food.
Used to love the food here, would always get the same thing, but they recently changed the meat that they use and it's horrible. So sad to lose a favorite haunt, but it seems like the change is here to stay. Why mess with perfection? Always for the bottom line, even if it ruins your product. So sad to see.
Your guacamole is no longer good. Runny and not much real avocado added. Why? Very disappointed 😞
Just bought a bean rice and cheese burrito wet. The red sauce was extremely salty. The rice was. Crunchy and there wasn’t even any beans. Very disappointed. I grew up with the original Miguel’s in Corona and ever since the family branched out to fast food iits been lacking in authentic flavors. I keep trying to like it but honestly there are ten other Mexican restaurants I would rather go to instead of Miguel’s. So disappointing. Way over priced for what you get.
Staff extremely unprofessional and manager offered no help regarding aggressive encounter with staff
I am not one to normally leave a review however my families takeout experience was very bad tonight. The rice was over cooked. All of the tacos we ordered dripped with grease. We found a hair. We usually like the food and have not had a bad experience. I am not sure what happened tonight. Unfortunately we will not dine here again. I hope these mistakes are fixed for future customers.
10/9/25 8 PM I ordered the El Potato Burrito the tortilla was Doughy and there was a Big Raw potato first bite. I took it back and while the manager Minellia was giving me a refund a hostile young girl with black hair came up at yelled at me that their Potatoes arent Raw ! This place is not even Miguels jr anymore. The Rice is always hard and tortillas doughy and the beans are way too salty. And now employees disrespectful.
I’ve been coming here ever since it opened. It’s now straight trash. They need to give a lesson on wrapping burritos. My son’s burrito had burnt carne asada in it. My cheese enchilada is cold. And this place is not cheap. I used to get the burritos in high school at Corona high for 1.25.
l bought 4 Queso Birria tacos and a drink for $22. When I got home to my disappointment the little containers holding the consume melted and got all over the tacos. How do I know that there isn’t small pieces of plastic in my food now? The tacos where extremely soggy and unenjoyable. This is not the first time this has happen…and not the first time it has been brought to the attention of staff. For how pricey the meal was I expect only the best and for the employees to be vigilant when it comes to customer concerns about how food is being boxed.
