Would be nice if they didn't park me every morning for one iced coffee every single day they make me park out front so that their timer doesn't go up was parking the other day and they had several people parked out front waiting on their coffees literally one drink

What can I say about McDonald's that hasn't been said a thousand times before. You know exactly what you're going to get before you even get there. You know the quality, the cleanliness, the service and the value. McDonald's was the pioneer of the fast food industry, they know what they're doing. This restaurant is no different than all the others. It's alright. Not great, but not bad either. It's clean, the service is good and they offer a good value menu. So why 4 stars instead of 3? They are one of the very few places that still have the restrooms available to the customers. Yeah, it comes down to that.

Normally this McDonald's is the spot. But lately everytime I've order fries, they're cold or warm at best. Almost dry. Something has changed. They're always busy so I know they are fresh as they can be. They use to be fresh hot and crispy and perfectly salted.

We went there for my little cousin's birthday. My aunt ordered cookies. They made them so fresh and didn't wait for them to cool. Once we took them out of the box they crumbled.

The night manager is a sweet lady. Very helpful and understanding. She fully engaged herself into what I was saying. She patiently and thoughtfully, listened to what I said and, I left really pleased.

The line gets pretty long. Last time they didn’t check in my mobile order and insisted on giving me food at the window that I did not order and told me I was wrong that was my order so I had to park and go inside and show them my order and the stuff and drink they gave me that didn’t belong to me. Also they don’t do caramel frappes it’s been a while now since last year.

After going from colorful gun and freindly. To Grey dull and expensive. Comming here isn't what it used to be. But the burgers still have that magic flavor

As we all now McDonald's is a fat food restaurant and I love that about it, I only had to wait 1 hour and they were making no excuses at all, you could say it was full but there was literally 15 people and it took a hour HOW, We saw people come in and out speaking of that I'm going eat there next. Otherwise the food was good but 1 hour? I don't think so. I'm not angry just confused.

I've never had issues with them getting my special order wrong.... Big Mac only mayo, lettuce and cheese. But they are almost always out their McCafe hot drinks and I have to drive across town to the one by Walmart. 😢

Went today and the new worker gave us the wrong receipt and on top of that, forgot to add the chicken nuggets.

I waited 20 minutes for my burger and then an extra 10 minutes for my frys. In total I waited 30 minutes for my #3 combo. It really wasn't that busy and the line wasn't too long. Overall I feel that my business would be much more well spent somewhere else

Ordered two sausage egg McMuffins two hash browns and a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee the cinnamon roll was harder than a rock and the two hash browns tasted like fish. I called and they were gracious enough to go ahead and replace the items however I won't be going back there anytime soon so hold on how long before I will get them. The manager did say they would have my name so I could come back at any time.

Everytime I come in to bring my family the order line is almost to the door. Even on Sunday's when everyone gets off of church down the street. How the hell dose a manger let that happen? Only having one order line going... I love the place, but the manager needs check on the customers inside the restaurant and delegate the other workers to open another line. This is too slow of a service.

We came to a fast food restaurant but come to find out it was not fast. We went on a Thursday at around 11:30am and ordered: 2 cheeseburgers, 2 medium cokes and a order of chicken tenders with fries. We had to park and wait for our order for about 25min. There were 4 others parked as well. I wasn’t frustrated about the wait until I got my food it was all cold. The order was right but the wait was insane and the food was cold. Don’t think I’ll be coming to this location anytime soon.

I have to be honest. Typically I avoid McDonald's, however my son wanted some items from there. I used the mobile app for the 2nd time in order to expedite the process. For the 2nd time it took over 20 mins to receive the order. The McDonald's app is pretty bad. Makes no sense to place the order in advance and then have to show up before they even begin to make the order. This location is extremely understaffed and it seems very poorly managed. There are always dirty tables and things look poorly kept. Management should definitely step their game up.

Long wait if ur trying to order from employees

I usually do not write reviews but I am not sure what is going with this Mcdonalds today. It is December 23rd at 3:30 pm. We usually come here for my kids to eat and enjoy their play area. Today all of the empty seats were super dirty. The floors as well. I went to try to get a cloth to wipe everything myself. Nobody was in the front counter and after waiting for several minutes I proceeded to get some napkins to try to clean it myself. But wait the napkin container was empty. Luckily I carry wipes. That is what I ended up using. The floor I did not clean so we had to step all over the gunk and food in the floor. Next when my order was ready we were never called they just put it on the counter. Luckily I was paying attention and spot it and went to grab it. No one acknowledge me and when I wanted to get ketchup nobody paid attention to me so I tried to put my hand over the counter to get it but guess what the ketchup container was empty as well. No toilet paper on bathrooms. Had to leave my son and come to table to get wipes. Super dirty bathrooms as well. You might ask but where are the employees? We'll, I heard them talking on the back having great personal conversations. There is more but I already wrote a book so let's just stick with lack of cleaning and supplies everywhere. Food was good, as good as junk food can be, but everything else was lacking. This has been by far one of the worst experiences I have had in a Mcdonalds. Hopefully this is not the start of a slippery slope for this location

Super slow, serve orders out of order. I was there 7 minutes and a person made his order after me and got his food before me. Staff ignores customers, and I even made eye contact with 2 and no one bothered to advise others people (including me) needed counter service.

My grandson and I stopped in a little late on my way home from work, it was just us in the play place, he took his shoes off as it's a rule of playing in the play place,,,, I was at the bottom of the play place while he was on the slide above when two VERY large roaches ran into the play structure, I quickly told him to come down and of course put his shoes on and after he saw the roaches he no longer wanted to play in the play place. Never again though will his shoes come off at a place, they can shove their rule. And then the thought of what could be in ur food crosses ur mind and you realize you actually paid, WELL, for the experience 🙄, just 🤢 eewwww

Has to be the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I’ve gotten my fries in the bag upside down multiple times. And when it comes to getting sauces or ketchup. Forget about it. Even if you requested at the intercom. The message doesn’t relay to whoever packages your food. I don’t recommend doing this anywhere else except this McDonald’s, but check your food before you pull away from the window. Otherwise, you will be leaving without something you requested. Mind you, I don’t make big orders. It might be one combo a happy meal on a 20 piece. And they still mess it up.

I get the whole kiosk thing. However if you do not intending to use the front registers then remove your order here sign. And it doesn’t help that none of the employees acknowledge you while you stand there.

They should take fast out of the title fast food on this place. The new kiosks don't even help. The waiting in line was at least 10 min and the wait for the food was about 15 min more. I was beginning to think they skipped my order. I was also given cold food. Extremely disappointed. I would have taken the time to complain if it weren't for the fact I was now late to my next appointment.

Absolutely the worse service ever!!! Screwed up out WHOLE order...35.00 and missing several items. The others were special orders and they are wrong as well. Went to call and their phone is off the hook!!! Do they hope people will get tired and forget about it? We will be driving there 10 mile trip at 4.59 per gallon....and they are going yo replace the whole meal!!!!

Today's visit at McDonalds was horrible. The kids area was a complete mess. There was trash on the tables under the tables and all around. The staff was on their phone and you could hear them cussing to each other. I've been here many times but today was not a good day.

The inside of is usually dirty, n smells. The workers are annoying they take so long to do the orders. They ALWAYS leave sum out. N they ALWAYS make u wait at the numbers even if it’s js like 1 apple pie. TIRED of them, will not be returning. It honestly grosses me out n gives me an ick. Oh n I almost forgot tm mayo on the burgers, it’s like they don’t try n throw it together blindfolded.

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I've been here multiple times because it's the closest McDonald's to my house but it consistently gets worse. Every employee acts like this is their first day. No one will speak you who doesn't have an attitude. It has never been clean. They refuse to bring your food table side. The food quality is decent but they always mess orders up and barely wrap your food to where it's falling out of the packaging. Hoping it gets better.

The food is made well and served in good time, but the rest of the experience is terrible. Every time, they fail to address that the customer has approached the front desk to order. They simply glance at you without even saying "hello, we'll be right with you," which makes a world of difference for the customer's experience. I requested help, and all they did was glance back at me until I addressed them a 2nd time. The person working the register walked away from taking my order TWICE to do other things rather than addressing one thing at a time. And especially the soda dispenser area is not well stocked or kept clean.

I come here alooot and the night crew always apologizing because their ALWAYS short staff at nights. Idk if the manager does this on purpose to her team but to be in the drive thru for a whole 20 min is ridiculous. But when I come in the day they have enough staff. I rather drive across town to that McDonald's.

How embarrassing. $20 an hour and literally all of the workers are running around like they have no idea what they're doing. Literally made us park in front for two ice creams, a smoothie and some fries. Had to go in and hunt down the food. I made less than this entering the workforce in a position that required a college degree and a background check, and these kids are running around like they have no idea what they're doing to the tune of $20 an hour. Embarrassing.

The food was a blast but the service was horrible they have the guts to ignore you and talk about you in the back.These managers should be fired including their workers horrible service won't come here again. It took 30 Minutes for a small order!!

This McDonald's is super dirty nothing is clean, tables, floors and counters. It took them 15 to 20 minutes till me and my coworker got our food. Wasted our whole 30 minute lunch, have to rush eating. Didnt get to finish. Would not recommend this spot at all.

This location does not care about customer service. Was given attitude when asked for something I stood around 10 minutes for. As far as cleanliness goes it looks like nobody lifts a broom.

They take too long and always mess up your order no matter what it is. Customer service sucks! Even an older lady that should know better at her work place had very poor customer service. Female Cashier at 7:30 a.m on Saturday the 14th was extremely rude walked away as I was halfway through my order without saying anything starts helping the people behind me. Everything was out of stock, never or always forget to give my sauces. I always hating ordering through the drive through because they don’t have a certain meal in a combo but inside the store, when I order it, it does come ins combo.

9/8 8:15pm I’m from out of town and so far the customer service here is extremely poor. This store is unprofessional. Manager not wearing a mask and everyone working has a mask on their face but it’s below their chin. What’s the point of wearing a mask then!? The employee that gave me my drinks did not even look at us and just said “here” handed me the Drinks and did not even reply when I said thank you. So rude and unprofessional.

Triple check your orders the didnt put all my food our bag I checked my bag before leaving the parking lot and I back in for missing items was handed back my food n was told everything was in there I got home and I was still missing more items

Not great service 95 percent of the time my order is wrong and I'm not exaggerating one time they left the meat patties off of 6 of the 10 burgers i ordered how does that happen seriously? Their saving grace is they did replace the messed up orders the cold burger and soggy fries. My advice for them slow down and double check the orders and for those who are reading this check your order before you head home

Food is ok when they actually give you what you ordered. Getting service or even having them acknowledge your existence is next to impossible. The new wall just gives them.The ability to completely ignore you and boy do they! Go to the one on bell! Service is way better and they actually smile and say hello!

I ordered a $11-$12 large chicken sandwich meal, they didn't put any sauce in the sandwich, literally just chicken and bread! No ketchup for the fries, highway robbery.

I ordered through the app and had to wait out in the reserved parking spot for quite a while. Fast food here is not fast. I have no problem with the employees, I just think things need to change in order to make a more welcoming environment for customers.

Mobile order & curbside pickup. Waited for 30 minutes. One of the staff members came outside to deliver food for another customer. I asked her for the status of my order. She brought my order out and I waited for a total of 40 minutes for my order. I only got a “sorry for that”

Not one to complain much especially as the standards get lower these days more and more. Putting a kiosk in every location was a horrible idea. But as filthy as this place was I'm sure that's related not enough help to keep the place clean.. the soda machine had at least 20 lids soaking in soda on top of the counter not the machine drain the countertop. The floor has soda all over it. When I received my food the fries were clammy cold which everybody knows the best fries from McDonald's are when they're hot. Burger was the same thing.. overall very disappointed horrible experience. I'm 50 years old and I can tell you even in the Bay area such as some of the worst Vallejo and Fairfield was not as bad as Atwater today.

Wow. Let me say, the service couldn't have been much worse. There was one person sort of covering the front. One couple walked in and waited five minutes to have their order taken, and no one was in front of them. I was picking up a mobile order and waited 12 minutes before I was even acknowledged. When I gave them my order number she said "Oh it's right here" then went and got it from someplace out of view of the counter. I've been to many fast food restaurants and to McDonald's all over the country and never have any of them provided such horrible customer service.

They do not care for any of us inside customers and show very much disrespect as we are starving. currently it is taking 40 minutes just for them to give me my food and the place is very dirty and not maintained . worst mcdonald’s i’ve ever been to.

The cashier in the drive thru was very pushy if we were gonna order anything else. Didn’t give me any time to look at the menu and rushed us out. On top of that he didn’t give us a receipt. Then they forgot our hash browns even though we bought two meals. We got home and realized and Chelley was no help at all. The drive thru worker and Chelley did not help us out and asked us for a receipt even though not given one. Finally we had a competent employee come out named Raul that was very kind and addressed the matter professionally and got us out quick and feeling better than we did before. Shout out to Raul!

On several occasions while waiting for an order, I have had to wait over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. I have even noticed other customers standing and waiting for long periods of time before their orders are even taken. Some have even left. It may or may not be a short staff issue. I have witnessed several employees standing around shooting the breeze and ignoring customers. Some of them display attitudes as if you're bothering them, disturbing their conversations. At the drive thru, when pulling up, employees have stood with their backs to the window for several minutes before acknowledging you're there. This location is the worst In the area and are in serious need of customer service training. There are very few of them that display customer care. But the majority don't. Something needs to be done.

This McDonald’s is the worst. Every time you go there’s issues with the order. Something missing something made wrong time. Employees don’t care about customer service. Order through the drive thru you get parked and wait after waiting in the drive line. Order curbside you have to go inside and get it yourself. That is if you can get the attention of an employee. They definitely work their hardest at not making eye contact when you’re waiting for assistance. Realistically doesn’t even deserve one star.

This location really sucks. It needs to be shut down. Should have been shut down a long time ago. Surprised were not all poisoned!! I really had to come back twice in the same night and they didnt even wanna answer the phone. They all heard it ringing but no respond. and then finally when I thought they got my food right this time. Went home to eat it and it wasn't even cooked all the way. Literally threw up right after. Felt sick to my stomach, immediately lost my appetite. Like i said this location needs to be shut down and deserves 0 stars! Put something better that actually cares about people's orders. They hire random kids that don't care about anything.

If you are looking for a discriminatory experience then I highly recommend this location. There demeanor and constant disregard of the customer speaks more of the parent LLC that owns this location rather then the store. It’s a testament to the environment of greater Atwater business. Consumers can begin to act by taking their business elsewhere and stop placating to a norm that should not be acceptable.

How in the world is the line for the drive thru going out into the parking lot, there’s like 20 people in the lobby. Everyone’s waiting 10+ minutes for their food. But they got one of the workers in the lobby hanging up St Patricks day decorations. One of the counter workers even said “sorry we are behind” then stop decorating and get on that grill twizzy. Manger has no management skills whatsoever doing that non sense

You can't order delivery from this place. I swear nobody knows how to read or count there. How hard is it to see how many of which items there are and double checking that all items are in the bag before giving them to a delivery driver. Even if you go in person. You stand at the counter for ten minutes waiting to have your order taken. The push for Kiosk is too harsh and just makes for shitty customer service.

Paid cash, was told to order at the kiosk, got me a hot mocha coffee only to be told I couldn't order it when I went to pay. I told the lady I hated the change of not getting assistance when ordering only to be told her coworker could have helped me. Guess they didn't like that cuz they put my daughters food in a bag and just yelledy name and walked off instead of bringing her order to our table in the play area with the #5 on the table the kiosk told me to grab. I don't care they are the only fastfood with a playground, I will never go there again.

I don't like coming to these fast food places, I really like spending my money at small mom and pops locations , but i was with my kids and they wanted to eat here . First thing i come in wait by the registers for a couple minutes, the " cashier " tells me that if i know how to order at the kiosk, I let her know that I rather not . She walks over and tells me that she can help me 🙄 . I don't think its her fault but , I just paid over $30 for 3 low quality breakfasts , and I have to place my own order !? She could not help me at the registers but she was going help me at the kiosk ! Crazy ! That would be the same as her taking my order ! I can use the kiosk , but i don't know why I am paying and have to charge myself. The next customer also let her know that he didn't want to use the kiosk, and she helped him order , this happened with every customer since I was there . She might as well took the order at the register . The kiosk still had the nerve to as me if I wanted to round up , or donate , so McDonald's can donate my money and take the credit and tax credits. I should have tipped myself at this point . They did bring us the food to the table , but no ketchup and the straws are not located near the soda machine. Back to the kiosk , they didn't even charge me because this system is so confusing. Of course I se told my son to go pay because I was already not happy, the cashier was thought I wanted to order again, I had to explain that I press that my payment was going to be cash , she let me know that when choosing cash you have to go to the register after 🫩🙄😀😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is McCraaaaazy If i return to a McDonald's it will be here it will definitely be drive thru only , people let's spend our money where they have cashiers that cashier 😀

I was absolutely appalled by trying to take my daughter to the Playhouse McDonald’s located in Atwater, first I use the kiosk. It didn’t print out my receipt so we waited 20 minutes until I had to ask for help at the cash register. A manager helped me. I simply asked why they wouldn’t have somebody up here upfront she stated she didn’t know and completely ignored me and was like can I just take your order?You wouldn’t believe the confuse meant I had. How can she be a manager not managing her team. mind you they were pushing out DoorDash order, and every single person sitting at their table was sitting with the receipt waiting then we enter the Playhouse. There’s a mess everywhere wet spots everywhere not a single slip sign was insight. Unfortunately, I had to go back to the register to ask for something that was missing another 15 minutes of waiting for someone to even acknowledge me or the other five people waiting.

Went 2 days in a row to order a double quarter pounder plain for my daughter and BOTH TIMES the patties were pink. Not just a little pink either. The picture I'm gonna post won't really do it justice. This is very disappointing. They're grill crew members are in need of some serious retraining.

I waited over 20 minutes for 1 large fry, they didn't even fill the fry box up. Do not go here unless you have a bunch of extra time and are okay with being ripped off.

Customers beware. I've been coming here for over a year and there is a consistent lack in service, professionalism, and integrity. My first bad impression was when the cashier was taking a selfie instead of talking to me to take my order. A selfie guys. Phone out, and no apology whatsoever. Currently everyone has been waiting over half an hour for their food. Mind you we bring our kids here, which means more money for the company but nobody needs to put up with this service and I wish more complained because you can see the frustration everyone's faces. You'll get better customer service at a morgue than here. It looks like a bunch of kids sitting in the back looking like they have no idea what to do. I'm putting this on the backs of supervisors and MANAGEMENT. To management: If you even exist. Get yourself out of your office and be responsible for your staff. We only ever eat at the restaurant and despite multiple reminders, you don't deliver our food, but call our names. Overall, with this being the place with a playground this place should be a wonderful experience, but it feels like a DMV visit ran by new employees. Do. Better.

ordered through doordash and got our food like this. it was obviously tampered with and it looked like they shoved their thumb into one of the sandwiches. i’m 8 months pregnant and this broke me emotionally. and i’ve worked in fast food, i know it’s annoying but this is insane
