I love love love pizza inn, I always ask for a suprem pizza minus bell peppers and add green olives, they do the best thin and crispy crust and they don't add to much sauce it's a great pizza. They have a buffet that includes salads, pizzas, and pizerts (desserts). They have been around for a long time with all the same great pizzas.

March 2021: What's not to love? Fresh dough made daily, real cheese, thin crust. Nostalgic! Been a fan for many years. This pizza was born in DFW. Lots of options: Buffet, salad bar, pasta, special request keto pizza bowl, cheese bread, white pizza, taco pizza, cheeseburger pizza, wings, pizzert, sweet tea with real cane sugar, in-house made buttermilk ranch, etc. The right amount of toppings to hold up with the crust. Friendly and caring staff. Clean environment and restrooms. Covid measures in place. Curbside pick up was offered even before Covid-19. Local, family owned since '98; supportive of the local community. Recommend!

If you want the old experience you had as a child at the pizza buffet restaurants, then this location is your go to. Even for a small buffet the selection was great. The staff was also wonderful in making sure their guests were taken care of.

Great buffet for a big appetite! The establishment was clean and the staff were friendly when we were greeted at the door coming in. We seated ourselves after we paid for our buffet at the register. The food on the buffet was hot, fresh, and delicious.

I was craving a good pizza and we came across Pizza Inn while shopping in this neighborhood. I recall loving it as a little girl. I had been eating Pizza Inn pizza since 1969, and let me just say, "It was still as back then." Everyone was so nice. I had mine to go, but the place was nice and clean, they were getting ready for the buffet. Which is also good. If I'm in the area again, I will get Pizza Inn.

I miss going to Pizza Inn with my parents when I was younger, so I had to stop in for Lunch 🍕 🥗 The food was good just like I remember. Staff was polite and made sure that you was taken care of.

First time going to the pizza inn and it was a great experience. We walked in about 1:30 and they had maybe 6 of the tables with patrons eating from the buffet. Buffet is 11 to 2 and 5 to 8. Even arriving late the buffet was fully stocked and everything was fresh. The crust on the pizza was light, chewy and had a nice crunchy crust. Yhe toppings were plentiful and tasted fresh. The salad bar had just about every ingredient that you could want and plenty of dressings. They even had two desert pizzas to choose from. 3 of us are the buffet and total price came out to $37. 25 and includes a drink.

If you want fresh hot pizza where they use fresh cheese, (they actually grate it fresh in house, and chop their fresh vegetables)I have not see this since I was in Italia, a wide selection salad bar, all you can eat, even the sweet tea was perfect, then this Pizza Inn location is the place to come dine for you and the family. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they were constantly putting out fresh pizza and all at a great price, oh yea and they recognize seniors with a big discount (65) and up. My son recommended this place which is rare so I had to check it out, I was not disappointed. My new pizza place. Try for yourself ! Thanks !

I stumbled on this place one day while I was out Ubering, and I’m really glad I did. I like both thin and thick crust pizza, and this spot somehow finds the perfect middle ground. The crust leans thinner but still has a good bite to it. It’s soft without being soggy or brittle. For a pizza buffet, I was honestly impressed. They had a great salad bar and even a pasta bar with Alfredo sauce, which isn’t something you always see. Abdul and Windy were both really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience better. I also liked that when a fresh pizza came out, they’d announce it so nobody missed out. The buffet price includes a 32 oz drink, which is already a good deal, but I’d recommend spending the extra dollar for a to-go cup. You can fill it up before you leave, which is nice. One small detail I appreciated was being able to grab full bottles of Parmesan and pepper flakes to bring back to the table. Way better than dealing with the tiny packets you get at places like Pizza Hut. If you’ve been here before, you probably don’t need me to convince you to go back. If you haven’t, it’s worth making the trip. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I used to go here all the time in college. I passed by and saw it still here and still offered the buffet. The food tastes just as good as it did in 2008 and the service was top tier. I have to start coming back!

Can't beat a good pizza buffet! The salad bar was stacked with fresh ingredients and dressing, and the pizza was being rotated out with fresh regularly. All the workers were friendly and attentive. It reminded me of the glory days of Pizza Inn, and I'm glad they are still bringing that quality and experience!

Pizza Inn has been my favorite pizza place since I was a little kid! From take-out to the awesome buffet, I've never been disappointed in the food or service! I haven't been to the buffet for a long time, but when I came back it was instant nostalgia and I felt like a kid again! Well definitely have to come back, I usually go to the Pizza Inn located in North Richland Hills but ended up workin in this area so tried this location, I appreciate the great customer service, variety of pizza, dessert is way better as well as the marinera meat sauce and alfredo sauce options for the spaghetti..

We went in with a group of 18 and they provided excellent service. Tiauna was our waitress and she was great about keeping our drinks filled and clearing the tables. She kept calm and always checked on our big group. There was always fresh pizza and it kept coming out the whole time we were there. We were celebrating a birthday and she went above and beyond so that we had a great time.

OMG this location is top notch! AJ was our server and she was on top of it the entire time. She made sure everything we wanted was being served and would let us know how long before it came out. The Buffett was clean, hot and fresh and no stale pizza out. I have never seen Buffett staff be so unbelievably accommodating…AJ thanks for taking care of us and thank you to the kitchen staff for hustling to feed all of us…

We love this Pizza Inn, it's the only one left around North Dallas and surrounding suburbs. They just remodeled and we are so glad they are staying around. The buffet is full, clean and everyone is friendly. We drive 50 mins from far Plano to eat here with out family of 9 a couple of times a month.

This is our favorite place to eat in Mesquite. We typically come in every Thursday so that I can have a night off from cooking. The service is always amazing, very little turn over in staff and the food is always fresh! Out of anywhere we could choose to eat and spend money in Mesquite, this is our number one spot and it is because of not only the quality but also because the owner and his staff always go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and not just like we are a transaction. Delish!! Love supporting local. It’s our first time. Price was great. Personally $15 for a buffet should be the norm tbh. Food was fresh. Walked in felt very homey. Paid and Casey was our server she was running around doing great. Really positive and nothing seemed to bother her at all. She was doing swing by drink orders and you can tell she’s a really good server. This is someone who would be valuable in a high pressure situation. Love great customer service. The place got pretty busy and she just bustled around with a smile on her face like it was nothing. I did love that they announce the meals when they are replaced. I have never seen that done before fantastic. Everything here is cheesy so that is fantastic. The pizza was average but I loved that it was smaller pieces so I could try all of the options and there are plenty of options. I tried the salad as well the pieces are cut up so small they are perfect to eat and not get too much. I love eating a lot of everything in small portions. The Alfredo was nothing special it was a little thin but at the least the flavor profile was def good and standard. I hate when restaurants try to be creative with basic ingredients. And they could have just left it alone. They continued to bring out more dishes I couldn’t try them all I got full. Great energy here. Casey made everyone feel welcome and like we were family. If I’m in the area I’ll be back. I live across town. Clean welcoming and delicious. The only thing to complain a little bit is that it was so cold we couldn’t just get settled in. That was the only issue.

Loved it. Went for my first time yesterday. Took my family. We were greeted by friendly employees when we entered. Salad bar was well stocked with lots of options. Pizza selection could maybe have been a bit more diverse, but it was all good. Everything much better than that "other" pizza buffet place. We will definitely be back and will pick this over the "other" place everytime from now on. Only 4 stars on atmosphere because it was a bit outdated. Which is charming in its own right, but maybe a couple of little things could improve the ambiance. Music selection was great too! I was singing along the whole time.

Took my mom on a lunch date for Pizza Inns Buffet. It was fabulous and she loved it. The salad, the pasta, the pizza, and the dessert were FRESH hot and the surrounding areas at the buffet were kept so clean. The service was excellent. They would call out what kind of pizza they were delivering to the buffet everyone knew what was being brought out. The waitress kept the drinks full and the tables clean. Not many pizza buffets left and this one is doing it right. Not only was everything fresh and hot, but it tasted great.

A very nice and pleasant experience at this Pizza Inn restaurant in Mesquite. It offers a buffet, which was fresh, clean, and plenty of variety to choose from. But besides the food, the service is remarkably excellent too. They were very attentive, checked-in on us several times for drink 🥤 refills, special pizza 🍕 requests for the buffet, and kept replenishing our used plates. 🍽 You could tell that this family owned business takes great pride of their restaurant and the service they provide. The staff seems genuinely happy to be there and serving their customers. Highly recommend the pizza 🍕 and also the ranch dressing at the salad 🥗 bar!

Pizza was good but kinda dry because it could have used a little more sauce! Next time I’ll ask them to do so but you have to be careful cuz once I asked for extra sauce online and it was a lake!! So you have to find the perfect balance! But the service was fast and friendly and again the food was still good.

After years of receiving coupons, we finally took the bait. It was $11.49 per person with the coupon. The buffet is small. I really liked their cheese pizza. Their chocolate chip pizzert tastes like sugar. That’s the only one I did not finish. My husband loved the meat lovers pizza but hated the taco pizza because it was wet. I didn’t mind the taco pizza, I thought it tasted more refreshing. Most pizzas were average. All in all, pretty average. Our server was kind.

Pizza Buffet Served Everyday. That's what the marquee says in front of this place. We've been here a lot, but today it was off. Like big time. The owner/ manager was a disappointment. I asked him for a custom pizza for the buffet, and his response ask your server ma'am. No problem right cool. I then observe this guy chatting with my server. Server walks up and I ask her about getting the pizza I want. Like I thought, he told her my table was cut off from custom orders. Now I had already approached this guy but he used my server as a buffer putting her in the middle. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I approached him again after this and his response was we changed the policy to one custom order per table. Here's the thing each person pays for a buffet, and we didn't even order a whole pizza at our table. But keep your "new policy " it's your establishment!!

Ordered online. I have ordered these two pizzas before but I don't know why today they were lacking. This place is very noisy!! They need better hot lamps over the pizza to keep it warm. The salad mix on the buffet line was horrible. It’s not even lettuce you’d enjoy on a salad. It wasn’t Romaine or iceberg lettuce. I was very disappointed.

On this particular day I came in for lunch. It has been quite some time that I have visited a Pizza Inn establishment. The doors open at 11:00 for lunch. Upon entering I didn't notice any pricing to let me know what the cost will be. The person behind the register ask if I was going to be doing the buffet for lunch and I said yes. She gave my total (16.01) which apparently comes with a drink weather you want one or not. I say that because I didn't want a drink, and the person in front of me got a drink with the same total. The only thing available at the time of opening was just the salad bar, no pizza. They were in the process of making pizzas for the lunch crowd. I waited for about 15 minutes till they bought some pizzas out. Not much of a selection of pizzas. The pizza was alright and the dessert was alright. Needless to say, it will be awhile before visiting again.

I’ve been coming to Pizza Inn for years and was used to having a good experience with decent food and a sense of nostalgia that took me straight back to the 80s. That part used to be the charm. Unfortunately, since the remodel, everything else has gone downhill. The service during this visit was horrible. The buffet line was not kept up at all—food was constantly empty, and several customers were left standing around waiting and watching the line instead of eating. It was frustrating and poorly managed. This was by far the most awful experience I’ve had here, which is really disappointing given how long I’ve been a customer. To make matters worse, while I was in the restaurant, multiple customers asked for full refunds due to the poor service and lack of food, and the manager refused to give their money back. I won’t be returning, which is sad to say after so many years of coming here. The nostalgia alone isn’t enough to make up for the decline in service and overall experience.

My sister told me about the all you can eat buffet and we were eager to try the salad bar. We were sorely disappointed in the quality of the food and salad bar. Probably the worst pizza and slow to keep fresh pizza available. The salad bar was very basic and used over chopped lettuce with cheap salad dressings. No Blue cheese dressing .The chicken nuggets were the questionable processed variety that only a kid who didn't know better would like. However it was busy and full of huge people piling it on their plates. I guess if you are on a budget I can see the value of the buffet. You won't leave hungry for a little over $10 a person. You get what you pay for. Cardboard pizza, and budget salad bar, risking big trampled when the fresh pizza comes out by some oversized patrons. If you are really hungry, broke, have the munchies, this is your jam.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment. It was my first time trying Pizza Inn Buffet, and I came with my wife and two boys. When we arrived, there were approximately 15-20 people inside, and the buffet only had four pizzas available, which were almost gone. I asked when more pizza would be coming out, and the staff assured me they had some on the way. After waiting, two pizzas were brought out and announced. However, within seconds, they were taken by other customers, which is understandable for a buffet, but it felt chaotic and poorly managed. After waiting an additional 15-20 minutes with no new food available, my family decided to leave as our kids were getting hungry. Since we hadn’t touched or eaten anything, I requested a refund. Unfortunately, the manager refused, stating, “I’m not paying you anything.” This escalated into a verbal disagreement, during which the manager made an unnecessary comment, asking, “What are you going to do, hit me?” I stepped outside to de-escalate, and my wife was eventually able to secure the refund. Overall, this experience was highly unprofessional, with poor food management and unacceptable customer service. I do not recommend this location.

Messed up my order, called them and they said they would remake it. I get here and they forgot to make it. Had to wait while they made it from the beginning. Didnt offer me a drink or apologize. Didnt offer me cheese or crushed red pepper and when I asked they told me to wait. Rude staff

I had a disappointing dining experience with my wife and two kids today at Pizza Inn in Mesquite, TX. While the restaurant looks fancy from the outside, the experience inside was far from what I expected. I paid for the pizza buffet before entering the dining area, but to my dismay, there was a very limited selection of food available. There were only 3-4 types of pizzas, all with beef toppings, and no options for cheese or chicken pizzas. Additionally, other selections like chicken and noodles were completely out. I tried to address this issue with a staff member, but unfortunately, she was extremely rude and did not pay attention to our concerns. My hungry kids were asking for pizza, but due to the lack of options and unclear ingredient information, I couldn't serve them anything satisfying. I even requested a chicken pizza, but it took a whopping 45 minutes for it to be prepared. At that point, I had had enough and asked for a refund. To my surprise, they informed me that the chicken pizza had been ready but not delivered to our table. I had expected the pizza buffet to offer a wide variety of choices for both us and the kids, but this place was severely lacking in terms of food options and customer care. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also concerning, as we observed children around us licking their hands and serving themselves in an unhygienic manner. It was an unhealthy environment that left us deeply disappointed. I won't be returning to this establishment, and I strongly advise anyone who doesn't consume beef to think twice before considering dining here. The experience was far from what we had hoped for.

Our server was very nice, it’s just not job for her, she loves taking care of diners (Because of Franchise Pizza inn pizza are the best but, mesquite store owner Abdul ruins the experience. He is a sad, tired person always over worked ( hiring less staff) .because of franchise Their dough of crust is the best and Their thin crust is all above mark) Bad experience at Mesquite town-east Pizza inn, as being a vegetarian not any choices to eat from buffet. Abdul owner/Manager gave us only 2 pizza choices per table. So we said Make us as we are paying for buffet 1st pizza (1/2 tomatoes, grn pepper, blk olives and onions 2nd pizza 1/2 gen peppers and onions. And you have cheese pizza at buffet and he said no but will make cheese pizza too Guess what he made and bought to our table 1 medium pizza (4 slices-1/2 tomatoes, grn pepper, blk olives and onions and 4 slices-1/2 grn peppers and onions.) And 4 slices1/2 cheese pizza from buffet This is ridiculous. He said it’s your 2 choices on one pizza and cheese. He was forcefully asking us 4 adults to eat what we got and said if you finish let me know. I was really upset and I told him this is not good, as I wanted some jalapeño/ pineapple pizza or jalapeño/ onion. So later on he came with 1 small pizza (1/2 grn peppers, onion and jalapeños and 1/2 pineapple -under cooked ( stupidly like giving a treat to a child) Basically over all buffet cost us $68 with tip, for three adults. Shawana our waitress was nice and she was like eat desert if you are hungry as we can give only two choices per table. Not worth as, owner doesn’t give enough choices, on topping. There were 7 meat pizzas, one cheese annd one pizza he made with 6-7 veggies on menu all like jambalaya. We were three adults, at least give us the topping we want ( EVERYONE LIKES DIFFERENT TOPPING mix ) Overall bad experience. Don’t forget we were dealing with the owner GO AND SEE HOW FRIENDLY CI CI PIZZA IS SND HOW THEY TREAT THEIR PICKY CUSTOMER WITH VEGETARIAN BELIEFS ALWAYS WITH SMILE SND HAPPY TO SERVE.

Witnessed the manager be extremely rude to a doordash driver. Refuses to give orders to drivers unless they have the bag he wants them to have, forcing them to lose out on income. Bullied the driver in front of line of customers.

Run away. Dirty, bugs and rude staff. I visited this location a week ago and asked for a refund before eating any food, as the place was dirty and there were bugs close to the buffet area. The owner said he refunded my money, but I still have yet to receive it. He proceeded to tell me I was demanding as I asked for a refund then threatened to call the police if I didnt leave. The manager was rude from the get go and offended I asked for my money back. Terrible place dirty and extremely rude staff and owner. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Ordered pizza spent 51 dollars only for the pizza to not be delivered. Call up there and who ever answered the phone around 1:45 pm 10/30 was extremely unpleasant. Told us that there was confusion with door dash cause our pizza showed that it was delivered. Here we are 2 hrs later and still no pizza , no refund and just poor customer service skills all around. Who ever is in charge needs to train the employees on how to talk to customers . Because it's not our fault there was a confusion on the delivery it's your's.

I went to eat here this past Sunday I made it at 2:11pm and I was greeted letting the manager know I was referred to them. So upon paying 57 dollars for 2 kids and 2 adults buffets we had a server none of the sitting was clean the food was hot however nothing was really an option other than eating salad and then a few pieces of the cheese bread so I asked the young lady at the bar can I put in a pizza request she stated that goes to your server.. well the server was too busy cleaning the areas and seating other people as well as disappear to the bathroom so after waiting about 30 mins at the point hadn't been asked if we wanted a refill on any drinks I stopped the server and asvisws can i put in a order for pizza she took her not pad and wrote it down thick crust bvon and Italian sausage okay 30 more mins pass at this points it's 3:15 we barely ate and looking for our pizza the people that had been seated by the other server done got 2 pizzas by now so she finally came from the back by the way she has pink hair with ponytails .... I asked when is our pizza coming she goes let me go check didn't come back but 10 mins later she starts wipping tables down I stopped her asked about my pizza she goes what did you have like what do you mean at the point it's 3:47 pm she says ask the manager about the pizza I asked if we can take it because I have other things to do ...get to the window ask where's pizza they are all confused in the kitchen so manger comes and tells me it's $1 and some6a slice to take home but the kicker is the pizza wasn't in the oven or being made but I have to pay again when we really didn't eat anything Pizza inn needs to hire better servers who care and mangers this could have been a simple fix and I took my tip back it was never deserved ?!!!!!
