I love this place the BBQ is always delicious. I got the St. Louis Ribs, and a loaded baked potato. I always make sure and skip lunch so I can eat what I order or at least most of it. They should find a way to sell the delicious BBQ smell that's hits you in the face as soon as you open the doors. If you haven't tried this place give it a try, it's soooooooo goooood.

An employee actually walks around to the tables and offers u fresh rolls like every 20 mins. There bbq sauce is different it’s not thick but it does have a lil kick of spiciness to it. Most of the service was fine... it's buffet style. While going thru the line , I placed an order but asked for just specific items on my tray, although my order had the works. My friend wanted the items I did not want, so I asked if she could have the item . The server was not receptive ,and she told my friend she had the item, looked at me, and said no. My friend tried to reason with her , but she still refused. A manager was listening when I asked the server , If I could get that item on the side, since Im paying for it , she said I got my order, the Mgr. then stepped in and asked her to give me the item on the side. I was not rude nor agitated , but my friend was questioning her communication skills. As an older woman, younger adults/ teens aren't as patient or understanding. That being said, training is important starting from birth. There are regulations everywhere in every walk of life. BREATHING IS A MUST PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE! KINDNRSS HELPS MILLIONS. JUST SAYING!

I went to Spring Creek today everyone was very friendly,very nice and helpful as usual. The manager Albert Moreno was very nice and welcoming he made me feel at home. If you're looking for good food and people that are nice and kind this is the Barbeque Restaurant to go to. You won't regret it.

We were able to walk up and get our meal really quick. The staff was friendly, our food was delicious and portions were great. I had to grab a box to go. And wow, the fresh bread rolls are amazing! Alberto, the manager greeted us at the counter and was very friendly and genuine.

The Bread is freshly made every 5 to 10 minutes and there is a girl going around every table offering it, it is obvious freshly and delicious, no sweetness to it, which I personally LOVE, the baked potato is the perfect size and tempreture (fully loaded) ribs were great, before you sit down make sure to grab a couple of butter little tuns for your bread🥰..I am not a breat eater but believe me this place is DA place, oh and I had cocunut pie for my very first time, and since I been looking for recipes, that is how GOOD it was, not overly sweet it was shared between me and my husband and we just couldn't finish it after 2 visit of the bread lady to our table. Best barbecue experience. Food was not greasy or overspiced. Large servings. Best freshly made rolls with regular checks to see if we'd like more of them.I will get 3 meals out of the meat serving on the dinner plate. Very handicapped friendly. All servers were so friendly and helpful, wide aisles between tables and booths, booths easy to get in and out. Music low enough that we didn't have to shout to have a conversation. The day before Thanksgiving, we had ordered a family meal and it came with peach cobbler and cream. The only problem was we never received it when we unpacked and got home. We called, spoke with Alberto and he was extremely kind and said he can refund us or we can come in before closing and he will honor the dessert plus one. I was here with my sister on a lunch date celebrating my birthday. The restaurant is clean, food is served hot and fresh, staff is polite and respectful . We met Alberto the manager and he stopped by our table to make sure we were good. He was very nice for doing that. The sweet lady who passes the rolls around always made sure we had fresh rolls and butter. It’s hard to find good restaurant nowadays with great customer service. Hadn’t been to Spring Creek BBQ in a while and was in the area so we decided to stop by! My mom and I arrived a few minutes past the end of lunch and the entire staff was gracious enough to give us the lunch special despite the time! My mom got the ribs and I got the brisket, both were absolutely delicious but my favorite was the brisket. We got Mac and cheese, baked potato and the potato salad as our sides and all three were really good! Alberto, was super attentive and made sure all the tables were clean and checked in with the guests frequently. I definitely recommend you stop by and grab a tasty bite if you’re in the mood for BBQ! The blue bell ice cream is also a very nice Texan touch! :)

Great place for Sunday lunch. Relaxing atmosphere with a nice mix of Gospel, Christian, and Country music. You get to see the bbq, sausage and other meets when you order. Their brisket is really good, and their sauce is awesome 👌. They bring rolls by your table, and of course I ask for two, because yes, they are really good. They also bring ice cream by your table. I did not try it, but it looked really good. They offer other deserts like cobbler. Top that with great sweet tea, and you'll be glad you stopped by! The roll and ice cream ladies are very friendly. 🙂

Very bland BBQ made for the masses I guess, not much flavor. Not bad, but nothing special. No smoke flavor in ham or sausage. Only one sweet BBQ sauce option, no spicy option. Good rolls. I came to the restaurant 7-25-25 around 6:45 staff was lack luster. I was acknowledged after one got done laughing telling there jokes(it took a 3 min of standing and staring at them. I get to the register again and the 2 young Spanish ladies are right having a whole gossip conversation like im not wait to pay so I can eat, then looks at me funny when ask how much it is after interrupting their convo. It's not far fetched to say everyone deserves the same treatment. If im spending 35+ I expect a service standard. Food is great, service is not taken seriously.

Spring Creek has always been one of our go to places. Food is always good and the rolls are great, except today trying to get fresh rolls from the lady. Our table was close but she purposely went around our table. Twice we had to go to main counter to get them. Plus we could see lady talking and looking at our table

It’s been a while since I’ve been here actually several years ago I had a coupon for $12 off a meal decided to buy sliced beef brisket sandwich only , I was surprise that was sandwiches near $13 It was not a huge sandwich and of course it was very small, but it was plain. Fortunately I looked in the bag and requested some sides like pickles, jalapeños, onions, something to dress up the sandwich after tasting the sandwich. I was not very impressed for the value that I paid , the meat was kind of dry. It was very equivalent to dickies barbecue, well haven’t eaten there since Covid. Maybe I should just bought the sandwich plate believe it came with sides for another $2.95 more but I was not impressed with Spring Creek I think I will stick with Bakers or Soloman barbecue.

Usually the chopped bakers here are delicious. But today, the meat was a bad cut, and tasted like artificial smoke. And the potato was flavorless waterlogged mush. Couldn't even eat it. I've noticed quality slowly declining at this location for a few years, but other locations still seem to be good. #letsguide

I ordered the baby rib dinner to go. The potato salad was great and Italian green beans were cold as well as the dinner rolls. The ribs were dry and cold not giving the impression that they were freshly cooked more like leftovers. Meat was so hard there was no tenderness and sauce just made them sticky and harder to digest, not worth the money spent. Dinner rolls were cold and hard. Can't say I'll be going back there.

I understand some people dont like seasoning flavors so this might be for a specific type of people. Do not have a Spring Creek in Oklahoma. Try to always eat here when I come to this area. They have the best sliced brisket, in my opinion. Tender, juice and favorable. Back again. Just great BBQ. Back again. Have been here dozens of times. Food is great, but service really sucked this time. Cashier needs training. Took almost 10 minutes to check out four meals. Took almost 30 minutes to get crispy okra. Took almost 20 minutes to get some rolls and another 30 minutes to get some more rolls. This is highly unusual for here. Highly disappointed!!!

The food arrived via a dasher safely with a little heat to it . The first take out container I opened was the 3 meats and 2 sides the sauces which I didn't choose were on the side. I was disappointed seeing the small amount of meat in my container. I chose traditional sausage, pulled pork and brisket. My meat plate looked like what was left before closing 😐. My order was placed via doordash less than 2 hours after they opened. The size of the baked potato didn't disappoint. I don't understand why people put yellow mustard in potato salad I don't like it. The staff was not friendly except for the girl serving the rolls. She smiled the whole time with us and other patrons. The food was not #1 as described, it was dry and had no flavor on it's own without having to add bbq sauce. The mac&cheese was like not creamy, but thick from sitting on the steamer too long. Being I was with a church.group she ask me not to make a scene there. I just wanted Management to know and ensure all guest are treated fairly regardless or culture or race.

I know it's very tough to run a restaurant so many factors as to food cost and labor cost, but now you get less food for more money, but at baker's ribs and soul's man you pay the same price, but you get more food. I love their rolls, but I got food poison from their coleslaw.

Brisket was so dry disappointing the ribs were dry also the only way this good is edible is too eat it with bbq sauce ….this food is not worth the price at all and it was so hot in this restaurant like it’s summer time turn the a/c on like I was sweating the entire time I was uncomfortable. This place just isn’t up to par.

I paid $ 48.04 my receipt number was 99 for this COLD food. What a joke. I got Bby Bck Rib Din, it only had 4 ribs and the end cut I couldn't even eat it. So that means only 3 ribs for $ 19.95.The cutter of the ribs stated 5-6 ribs, received only 4. It had NO smoke flavor. (LIKE JERKY) it was cold and tough, the mac - cheese was cold, so was the corn on the cob. The only thing that was not COLD was the barbecue sauce. Also the chopped basket the meat was cold, the cheese and butter wouldn't melt.. We will not go back, waste of time and money...

Visited today to pick up an 3 separate orders including one for my 95 year old Grand mother to take to the hospital . I was attempting to use the coupons that Spring Creek Bbq offers buy one get one free. I was told by management I would need a power of attorney to do this and this transaction could be fraudulent .. Really !!!!!! Thanks again Arturo for wasting my time . By the way Spring Creek at the fire wheel mall location no problems . extremely friendly and did not embarrass me . THE LINK THAT THE RESPONSE SHARED DOES NOT WORK!!!

We just had 3 meals with dessert delivered by doordash & I can't believe how dry the brisket/baked potatoes, ribs were. My coconut pie was frozen in the middle, peach cobbler tasted burnt. Just an awful experience for us. Never again!

I went there wensday the 16th at 730pm,went thru the line,I was greeted, then they served me the ribs that had been sitting out all day,were dry,and had a bad flavor, my friend, they gave him fresh.i love the macaroni and cheese and potatoe salad, but the macaroni was almost empty and the potato salad, but fresh was fixing to be put out,I told them I didn't want dried out macaroni and cheese,they put it on top the fresh,about one serving, and served it to me anyway, the same with the potato salad. We paid,and they gave us cold rolls,the roll girl had a basket full, but wouldn't let me have one,she said she'd come around in a while. Nothing tasted good, it was bland and different, maybe different people making it. I took the dried out macaroni and cheese back,they got me fresh and were very rude.i couldn't eat my meal it was so bad.im beyond disappointed 😒 I will never walk in that place again, and the rolls were like rubber and overdone,she kept banging on the pan with a big spoon trying to make them come out.ive never seen such miserable people, there was a bad feeling there.they treated me badly, and disrespected me, I'm very upset, the two line girls, and the bread girl, should not be working there!

Today, I arrived at the restaurant around 7:45 PM. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but no one acknowledged me or offered any assistance. It felt like the restaurant was closed—there wasn’t a single employee at the serving line, and I couldn’t find a manager on duty. I eventually walked over to the bakery area and asked for a manager, only to be told there wasn’t one available. Just the day before, I had visited to use my Buy One Get One Free coupon, and the customer service was excellent. So what changed between yesterday and today? After tonight’s experience, I’ve decided I won’t be returning. I took my business elsewhere, and I won’t be spending my money at this location again.

I went to order to go ,lady who take my order she was very rude I order a child plate to go. The green beans I had with my meal were very sour, so I called back to inform the staff and let them know the green beans may have been bad or were off. While explaining what my concern is the “Manager” cut me off multiple times with haste and then hung up on me. I didn’t want a replacement but to just let them know. I tried recalling again and was hung up on again. This was truly disrespectful and unprofessional of the “Manager”. They said their name is lluvia. I requested another manager at this point because she was not helpful. I was put on hold then hung up on again. I’m writing this review because no customer should be treated the way I was. I didn’t want a refund or my order remade I just wanted to let them know about the food being off.

Spring Creek Barbeque in Mesquite strike again. I don't know why this particular establishment's manager Arturo is rude. He tries to argue and intimidate his customers (me and my mom). When we are in the Mesquite area we like to eat there. Lately we have been going all the way to the Garland Fire Wheel Mall location. We have never experienced any issues or have been treated rudely or disrespectful when we visit that one. Spring Creek Barbeque offers once monthly, a buy one meal and get one with the purchase of a drink when you download the app and sign up with your email and phone number. Well here we go... sometimes Mike is with me and sometimes he isn't, either way you just give them your phone number and they enter it before you order so you can use the coupon. The managers in Mesquite always make a very dramatic and unnecessary problem when you try to use more than one. Well of course when I go to Firewheel or the one on 75, either location they never give me any problems because after all I am paying for the food and they want the business. It has never been posted or stated that it's one per customer. Of course today after Arturo made a big deal calling me and my mom a liar about being able to use the deals at other locations like stated before I purchase meals under my number and then under Mike's so get a total of 4 meals using the BOGO offers. The first time this was an issue he had another manager come from the back and he started speaking very loud about how he could get sued for allowing me to use my husband's email because that violates HIPPA and all sort of nonsense. He was very loud as to the other patrons started staring trying to figure out what all the fuss was about. I'm guessing he thought he was dealing with someone not educated on how HIPPA works. I went on about my business and drove on to Fire Wheel of Garland location, where the young lady told me that he was wrong and out of line for causing a scene and that as long as you purchase them separately like I was attempting to do, I should have been able to use the offers. I told Arturo what the people at corporate told me the last time I contacted them about him and then he said I'll make an exception this time like he was doing me a favor by taking my money. Then to add to the bad experience I asked one of the young ladies for some ice because apparently I didn't see the ice machine that is not near the fountain drinks, she told me she was on break, but she standing behind the counter. My first job was in fast food and my mom was my manager, she was big on great customer service and this manager might need a refresher. I know what the issue is but I'm not trying to make this about that I just want to get great food, great service and fair treatment. Spring Creek Barbeque has good food but that Mesquite location must learn how to treat people or stop taking our money. I will continue to visit other locations and hope that the employees in Mesquite get it together.

went yesterday, food was alright, but the employee on duty needs to be trained or fired or something, she was being really rude and was making our experience unenjoyable. hope some action is taken. ive never had problems here until yesterday

14 bucks for a BBQ brisket sandwich is way too much and priced way to high!!! No drink or chips!!! My last time going!!!!

Came to celebrate Father's day here since my dad loved coming here but it's been a few years since he has came to have dinner here. The ribs where hard not soft at all they look like it's been cooked from 3 days ago, it looks in the pictures but honey we just took it all and gave it to a homeless so it won't go to trash. But thinks twice before coming the food is not delicious like it used to be

I hadn't been here in a long time and I should have kept going this food is horrible the ribs have no taste the macaroni is boxed macaroni taste like coleslaw is horrible help me Jesus . I should have left when I walked in that stinky bathroom

Bad service, Manager doesn’t know how to comply and blames wrong workers for his mistakes. Maybe if y’all payed attention and had priorities to the right things y’all wouldn’t have problems.

1st of all I don't give bad reviews but this one I had to say something. Been going here for years and decided to take my mom out for her birthday which is also on Valentines day. As we were waiting for our entourage, a rat was living in the front stand. When my wife told the worker about the rat, the worker acted as if they knew about the problem. We all lost our appetite and walked out. A few others coming and going also saw this. I'm sure if there's one then there's more. I will be contacting the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. See the pictures attached.

Ribs tasted old both baby back and spare, they had a twangy taste and were not eaten. Chicken was cold. Sides looked and tasted old as well. Rolls given in line were hard. Fries came out hot but had lots of black pepper - kids thought they were spicy. Food was just subpar…will not be returning. When you pay $100 you want great bbq and that’s not what we got. Definitely not worth the $$$ spent. Will not be returning and would NOT recommend.

We visited the Mesquite TX location yesterday (2/3/26) in the evening around 6pm. We were sitting on the side of the dining room against the Southside. While we were eating a large rat ran across the floor, next to the base boards, going from the kitchen area to the front of the restaurant. When we advised the staff of the rat, their response was less than useful, they couldn't care less, just stood around talking. Their response is highly concerning, it seemed they knew about the rat situation, yet they did nothing about it. We definitely will NEVER being going back to Spring Creek BBQ again. Do Better!!!
