It was actually really good, haven't been in a long time.

I've always had good food here. They have variety and the last time the waiter was amazing.

This is a pretty nice place. I like the bar area and I like that it has a dance area and the music is great too. The drink variety is very nice as well.

My quick order and pickup meal was pretty darn delicious... They always give me great customer service.

This place has the best food I've ever had, even the sister locations have super tasty and delicious food. I had the Steak and another time the Chicken Fried Steak from a sister location and it was all delicious. Fairly priced and the atmosphere feels like a Saloon. Worth the money I would say.

This is a great place the food is Good. The burgers are off the chain! Stop in watch the game on 50 plus TV's. Play around of 🎱. They also have Video games! Great place! HOT Waitresses!!!

It was my first time here(11/17/2025)for dinner and the Cowboy game. The first server that I spoke to was kinda dry. She didn’t make eye contact. We had to find our own seats but that was ok. I would have liked for the server to be more responsive to us but no worries. The server that actually served us was amazing and enjoyable and engaging and friendly and attentive which made up for the initial poor experience we had with the first server.The server that served us, I think her name was Ally. She was wearing a red bling hoodie that night. She was amazing. The food and the atmosphere were great! Definitely will be back soon.

The drinks were refreshing, and the food was delicious. Overall, the service was top-notch, and we loved our server's friendly and attentive attitude. Can't wait to come back!

I loved the amount of screens in this place. It provided a fun ambience and great atmosphere. Our good came out fast and it was great as well. Our server kept up with our drinks so that was a bonus. My one thing is they did not have tap. At least they were able to enter my card number manually. The restroom was clean and upkept so that was another positive. With the construction on the freeway, it's a little harder to reach this location so I'm glad our team was able to support them 👍

I love this place the worker's are so nice.They had my drinks ready and on the table with a fresh beer before i even asked I believe her name was meagan. The bouncer Brandon has worked there so long that I feel like i know him .great place for cold beer or mixed drinks.I got a frozen strawberry daiquiri it was great .The food look's and taste so good the pictures that i took glared.great place to watch any game .they have multiple t.vs so you can watch what you want and your friends can watch what they want.mike brandon carlos tony are all great worker's they are quick if you ask for something. That's if you have time to ask before they do what your asking for they are 10 minutes faster than me evem thinking that i want something.

Only went once. It looked like a fun place. I will check it out later....my friend and I went here Monday night. We had a great experience. 👍 Isabelle was very nice and attentive. We ate, drank, and played pool 🎱..had fun.

The food was pretty good, not 4 star meals, but okay. Probably a little pricey for the way they cook their meals, but not bad tasting. It is great for hanging out with a crowd of friends, but not so much for one on one since the music is so loud that you have to pretty much yell out your conversation. Not a bad place. Seems fun and upbeat, just not the best for a one on one Convo or best tasting food for the price.

We didn't order food there so don't know about the quality of that. We just went to drink, play pool and watch the boxing matches. It was a lovely atmosphere with lots of people there to watch the fights. The servers did a good job of checking with us fairly often. The cover charge for the fights was $5 pp.

I normally get the chicken fried steak. This last time Jan. 25, 2021, my gravy was VERY watery. Disappointed, BUT overall the food is good and the servicewoman Camry was and is awesome. And she sings during karaoke amazingly beautiful for you to enjoy your visit. I'm a picky eater, but I recommend.

It's the customer's for me. The bar tenders are nice. The waitress are ok if your a guy. That was not the case for me that's why I didn't give a 5 star rating.You should never judge a book by its cover and that applies to the rude waitress.

Went there this weekend and had a huge party. The manager was so hospitable and the waitress handled us like a pro with all of our separate tickets and special requests. Definitely recommend my favorite entree the California chicken and will definitely be back!

I go here to watch all sports have few beers an play some pool. It's a good vibes. Seems like there are normals that go there. But if you like cheap beer an watch sports an play some pool place to go. An no drama go here. Also they have a good food menu. Not expensive either. God bless

I came here to watch the Giants Cowboys opener on a whim because of its proximity to where I was visiting a friend. We arrived hours before the game and the server was super nice and personable. He ordered the wings with the house sauce and they were juicy with a good heat. I ordered the chicken nachos and they're literally my favorite bar nachos ever! They put the cheese and chicken on the individual chips which prevents the soggy tortilla mess that typically happens. Love it!! As far as the atmosphere, even while wearing a Giants jersey while the Cowboys blew us out 40-0 the crowd was fun, hilarious, friendly and joyus. Excellent time all the way around. Will absolutely come here again.

My friends and I attended Sports City on 7/15 and it was my first time there. The waitress was phenomenal and attentive and the nachos were very tasty. My major issue was the disgusting hole in the rug that appears to be taped down with concrete showing. It is grotesque and a major eye sore. Management needs to correct this or at least put something over it.

Went for a quick Sunday bite with my family and was not disappointed with the meal. Ordered the Chicken-Fried Chicken and it was delicious! Came with two sides which could have had a bit more seasoning, but overall it was a good meal (and leftovers) for price. We sat outside which was not a little dirty, but it was easier for social distancing.

Had to give less stars. Slow service at first. Seemed like one person was working, even though the place was not busy. Took a while to get drinks, but service improved as time passed. Food was good, atmosphere was good, music was good as well.

Drink and food was good! DJ started late. We went on Friday. What I didn’t appreciate was the bunch of young people outside the bar asking if we needed tender meat. They were following to our vehicles and that was scary! Be aware of theme if you are alone!

We had the Fajitas 10 out of 10! They had strong drinks and non acholic Coronas yum. They have a pool table, and games to entertain. The waitress was cool as well, the food was reasonably priced. I liked the bar playing music as well.

Went to visit because it was the only thing in the area open after 11 and I enjoyed the food. The booth had trash on the floor that wasn't picked up prior to our seating. Our waiter was nice and attentive. I will be back because this club sandwich with broccoli was GREAT!!

Poor service our waiter didn't bring our appetizer and when they brought our food no silverware we have to look for her to ask, no refills in our drinks. Well ill not comeback here for sure

I ordered the fish basket and received fish and shrimp basket but that was ok. The fish wasn't cooked all the way and the beer wasn't cold. I have been here several times and this is the first time, i wasnt completely satisfied.

Good hangout spot with friends on Thursdays..5$ crown.. but a chaser is a separate charge.. the service could be better.. a few of the girls don't know how to multi task between tables.. takes forever for a drink, food, or to get their attention for something.. but they are nice..and the food is great..prices vary on food items... but you will leave full and feeling good.. also, you may see a few cuties in there. Food: Typical bar fare. Mozzarella Sticks were good. Smokehouse burger had a bland, overcooked patty with little to no BBQ sauce as described. Charged an extra $1.00 for a ramekin of BBQ sauce. Server: Beautiful young lady with little to no training. To her credit, she was juggling 7-8 tables with no real support beyond a good runner. She was exceptionally personable. With solid training, she could be great! Atmosphere: Nothing says "SPORTS" more than TVs airing sports with a backbeat of relatively loud R&B.

Around 2pm my husband and I walked in. We looked around and stood in bar area for several minutes before seating ourselves. A little while later, the bartender brought menus & served us. The atmosphere was run down & dark. Music was so loud, we had to lean in to hear. Service was excellent!! She had her hands full but kept drinks full. The food was so hot and so good!!!

I’m giving 3 star due to the appetizers being good, my family and I came for dinner last night and the mashed potatoes however tasted SOUR, I thought it was just mine but my husbands were too 🤢

Went here to celebrate my bestie birthday. It was a nice place. We only had an issue with the music. It didn't match the audience that was there at all and we requested to switch it up several times before they actually did it. The crowd wasn't huge at that time but it was ONLY younger AA ppl there and we didn't really have an ear or taste for country western music. Once they changed the music we had a good time. At night, the whole vibe here changes. Mixed crowd, mixed music, but everyone enjoying themselves and the drinks are awesome.

It's okay... I went in on a Friday evening after work. It was pretty slow and only one server/bartender was working (likely a shift change). While she was kind and doing the best she could, most of our time spent there was spent on waiting for service in some capacity. The atmosphere was chill. There were people playing pool, watching the game, eating, drinking, and enjoying themselves, it seemed. There is a nice sized patio with table umbrellas which is clutch on super sunny days. The place was clean for the most part. The bathrooms could use a little TLC. I only ordered fries, thus can't speak to the food, but my fries were good. Drinks were made well. Prices were fair. $17 for two Heinekens, a Tito's soda and fries.

This is a great spot for singles or large groups of people with no reservation required. Each time I've gone I've been able to walk in and be seated right away; there's never really any waiting. The food is good, the drinks are good, service could be a little better but I would definitely recommend it rather than waiting an hour or two for a nearby restaurant. 5/31/2019 update: There's still no waiting for tables you can just walk right in and grab a seat; however, there's never enough waiters to accommodate the group and the service is generally poor. The food is still pretty good however our fries were extra salty tonight we had 8 separate orders for the kids and nobody finished them. We tried to get the salt/seasoning off with napkins, but it was stuck on pretty good. I think it's still good place if you don't have reservations but if you have options I would probably go someplace else.

We just moved to Mesquite. This was our first time here and we sat at the bar. Bartender was nice and prompt. Drinks were correct and good. However…..I watched a nice sized German cockroach crawl from the backside over the top of the bar and into the drip rail😳 so, I probably won’t ever eat the food here, which makes me sad bc I could smell the chicken fried steak walking to the women’s restroom and it smelled delicious😏 We were there around 6pm, so we were only 2 of 4 customers. So I dunno about atmosphere, but it’s big inside and great for sports with tons of tvs

This was almost one of the worst waitress experiences I’ve ever had in my life. My wife and I went here to eat and drink on Thursday the 26th, the day after Christmas. Our waitress was probably the sorriest I’ve ever seen. We had planned to hangout and have several drinks since our 2 year old don’t let us get out much. I’ve been hearing about Sport City since I’ve been in Dallas, seems like at least 18 years... But anyway.. She didn’t even check on us and we had to keep getting up looking for her to ask for something. She only offered us 1 drink and never again. The restaurant was fairly empty and we had the only table that was occupied in the section. It took a while for her to bring the receipt and after she brought it, that’s when she decided to hang around the area to make sure we payed her because she felt that she didn’t deserve it. The food was really good until I woke up the next morning around 5 running to the commode. Not a good experience for us and we will go elsewhere next time

We came to dine in and waited 20 mins to be served when we were the only people sitting in the dining area, manager has been sitting on the other side the whole time on his phone till we had to go up and talk to him. Told him that we had been waiting for the longest and no on came to help while the servers were just walking by us, he left to go ask some servers and i guess they told him no and he come back to sit down on his phone, 10 minutes later i went back to him and he said we only have two servers and their on cocktails, so i asked him was there anyone that was gonna serve us and he goes “hold on let me go ask them again” that was it we had left and never coming back!

I went to this place 3 nights ago . They charged my card for a total of $166 my ticket was no more then $80. I immediately addressed manager and general manager and still haven't been given my money back . My chicken fried steak that i originally ordered was tough and unseasoned . The service was horrible . The service was bad. Server took forever to bring our drinks and food. Then Server had us write down what we ordered! Not very professional. In the food service industry, you are trained to remember what each person ordered. Regardless of how big the party is! Server was just on her phone most of the time and not to mention sitting down at the booth in front of the host stand!

This place was ok I guess.... Food was waayyyy too salty and the drinks were weak.... Bathroom was horrible... Dirty toilets and trash on the floor... Female bartenders seems to focus on males only. Never fails. I have to order through my male friends to get a drink or any attention at that. There's one who stands out and literally told me to move because her regulars are walking in and I'm sitting where they always do while I was waiting on my friend to park. I refused and in return mentioned "What if we were to become regulars too?" She has been super mean every since. I now either call or take a glance to see who's writing before I enter. The 2 male bartenders are very mutual and outgoing. Little does she know, I too am a bartender. She's missing out on great paying it forward tips.

Worst manager and staff I’ve ever experienced! I came for my friend’s birthday dinner and it took 30 mins for them to take our order. It took 2 HOURS to get our food. We got here a little before 7pm and didn’t get our food until after 9pm. Most of the orders were wrong. We were never once asked how things were or if we needed re-fills. One of my friends had to get up and go grab silverware off the counter and distribute them. We had to get up and find waiters and a bartender to get re-fills. At the end of dinner we talked to the manager and told him everything and he didn’t apologize or offer to do anything. I’m not complaining for free stuff but dang for a manager to just make excuses, take no responsibility, and have an attitude like things are just the way they are... he didn’t offer like a dessert, discount, anything. I’ve never seen anything like this. Even when we finally paid it took 30 more minutes for them to bring back our change and cards. The whole time they weren’t even short staffed and the place was not even anywhere close to busy. We didn’t get out until 10pm. We were never given an apology or anything. This was such a terrible restaurant experience- I’ve never seen anything like it. SO unprofessional.

Arrived at 1am. We had to clean dirty dishes off our table. We sat at a booth in the bar area for almost 30 minutes & was told several times someone would be right with us to take our order. When the waitress finally came to our table, she told us the kitchen was closed. I found the manager working & told him what happened and he didn't seem to care about what happened or that customers were leaving upset.

First, our food got to our table way before our drinks did. I ordered the frozen lime margarita. Which didn't taste like lime or that it had any tequila at all. Then, when more of our group showed up, their drinks took even longer. The server was no help. Forgot one of our orders. The ball park platter was terrible. The pickles are awful, the mozzarella sticks were trash, and their bonesless wings tasted like fish. Worst experience I've ever had.

I'm sitting in the parking lot as I make this review. I came in at 11:01 am, they just opened. There was no one at the host stand. I decided to use the restroom and then look for anyone working. The only people I saw were 2 men sitting at a table near the bar playing on their devices drinking beer and a shot . I did inquire if the place was open, peeked in the kitchen but found no one else. I sat a a booth for a couple minutes but no one came. So I left, still hungry looking to eat somewhere else.

It’s really sad that the bar staff don’t care about the customers. I really hate giving bad reviews, but I just had to let everyone know of my experience at this place again. I say at the bar for 45 mins and no one behind the bar asked me if they could help me once. It was at least 5 workers within arms reach and never asked me anything. I was trying to be patient. I looked around and seen that the cafe wasn’t packed or anything like that, I felt like I work too hard for my money to give it to an establishment that doesn’t care about their customers. This review may not matter to anyone or go anywhere. I just wanted to share my horrible experience at this bar that has happened several times now. I fault no one but the management on this staffing selection. I sat and watched the guy behind the bar totally disrespect a customer because he sat for 45 min and decided to finally stop the bartender and ask if he was serving today. Bartender cursed him out. I only came back because I felt that I had to be dreaming after all the things I witnessed. I been here numerous of times and never received service like this. The food is great along with the atmosphere. Someone needs to correct the management here if they allow this to continue.

Adrian the bartender gives horrible service, no wonder this place only has 3 stars. This place is not even busy but he sure does have time to tend to his friends that are getting drunk. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else unless you know the people here personally.

Do not go to this place There is a lot of substance control going on that the police and workers know about and allow. I went to have a couple of drinks after visiting from Kansas . This is beyond me and I would never go again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to go to. They let people get drunk and do things that aren’t suppose to go on.

Went friday June 7th at 10pm.It smells like sewer outside and like someone pissed at the front door. For all the cocaine the workers are slanging you think the place would be cleaner but it was absolutely disgusting!!! The bathrooms were FILTHY and littered with red and blue lil drug bags, and busted doors along with the hopes and dreams of the workers. the servers pass the drugs back and forth between one another in plain sight but arent attentive to the paying customers trying to buy drinks. This place is definitely not full of properly functioning addicts. Had one drink, played some pool and left. I use to love this place but its just a matter of time before someone picks up on whats really going down here!

No one never mention anything about bill. We just wanted to inform him about the waitress that gave us poor service and the food was cold, and how long we had waited, all for him to threaten us. 0 stars, I would never recommend anyone to go this location. The night shift supervisor and shay the waitress was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I had never experienced anything like this.

My husband take me out a day before Valentine's Day each year. Last night was horrible me and my husband went to shot pool we sat there thinking someone was going come greet us but they never did. There were three laides they was eating and boo up with different guests. My husband had to go to the bar to get our food we got the chicken strip platter which was salty and not good at all. This place need to be closed down or hire new people it is not a damn strip club. My husband spend over hundred dollars here I will be letting my family members and friends know don't come here you not going to have great customer service you looking for.

First I’d like to say this place is unprofessional. It’s obvious that the staff has multiple relationships outside of work because the amount of PDA among all the staff is ridiculously sickening. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes while it was not crowded at all, every bartender and waitress was too drunk to tend to the customers. While some were taking shots upon the patio with other custos that were mainly the focus of them. Management sat on stage and at some point was hollering at a bartender that was obviously too drunk to be working behind the bar. I will not be returning to this establishment they need all new bartenders and wait staff because it was just SLOPPY DRUNKS all around. Did not receive service and left. ZERO STARS.

Worst experience EVER!! We were NEVER greeted. We seated ourselves. When we walked in hockey was on the television which I got up and asked several times if they can switch the channel. The waitress was nowhere in sight! Another family was annoyed because it took them 3 hours to be seated and a whole hour to get the bill. The family also notice we were not being served and suggested we leave and find somewhere else to eat. All in all I’m highly disappointed and I suggest a major upgrade to this place expeditiously!!!!!! Or just close down...SIMPLE!!!

I ordered a ribeye steak salad. Had to send the salad back. Lettuce was brown. And I ordered some chicken and steak nachos and after waiting 45 minutes to an hour. I got my nachos they was cold and old. And I was never offered to get some fresh nachos. Manager gave me two dollars of my ribeye salad. And to top it off they had no bags for to go food.

Walked in it was empty, no host to meet but waitress on her way out side said to us just sit down no one is going to come to you so we had a seat and waited....and waited...and waited watched the only waitress inside talk on her cell phone so we left.. and as we were leaving we saw the first waitress in her car smoking SMDH!

This is the worst service I’ve received in a while. Our server never brought us waters. She forgot one of our appetizers, and I don’t think she even realized. She took forever with our food. However, she provided great service to the table full of men right next to us. She was extremely friendly with them and quick to bring their food & drinks out. She was a young Hispanic waitress with red hair. She also did not bring us back our change after we told her we wanted change. When we flagged her down again she brought us incorrect change. When we asked about it was obvious she increased prices from the first bill she gave us. Extremely disappointed in the service and especially the waitress. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Save your time and money.

Was having a good time until we saw our tab and noticed they charged us for 8shots of reposado we never got, as a server I’m not the type of person to want “free” drinks or discounts. But if I see I’m getting overcharged for something we never got I’m going to say something. And the fact that the bartender (girl) proceeds to tell me I’m “drunk” when she barely attended us and was at the other end of the bar taking shots with customers. So for sure never coming back here again.

The big red headed guy, maybe a manager, but he was mostly bussing tables so could be a busser? Ruined our date night. He told me he had to look at the photo of my ID at the host stand when i tried to show him at the table that was right by the host stand. so weird. The bartenders took 15 minutes to make 1 shot & it didn’t taste right at all. coming from a former bartender! The second round was slightly better but they should be consistent.

I went for dinner with my son.I placed a togo order for all drums and was denied. It was disappointing. The reason given was because it's an inconvenience. Lastly the lie told was that is a health code violation lol. A genuine no would have been respected but the lie was the deal breaker. You lost another guest today . Great customer service is a cornerstone to building sales. If fulfilling a guest request for something that small is an "inconvenience " I'm sure explains the 2 cars in your lot while the neighbors we almost full. And like many other concepts closing the doors, you too will go soon.

All I can say is ROACHES !!! as much as I hate to say it this place needs a deep deep deep cleaning ….the dining room is a VERY scary place I went in get grab a bite to eat and was quickly turned around because there were huge roaches all on the wall all I could do was grab my phone to record and it made me very concerned about the rest of the restaurant especially the kitchen all I could do was get up and go I did let the waitress know but I’m not sure she told anybody ….there is no website to try to contact corporate if there is one but as good as there food maybe i just can’t do it until it gets some type of cleaning ….

First I knew when we parked , we got a spot right in front of the door, we went , had to seat our own selfs, after waiting for almost 15 minutes no one ever came to greet us, on the way in one of the waitress told us to seat ourselves, so after the wait we decided to leave and go to Red Lobster where the service was super great, and when leaving SC we see a waitress outside smoking a blunt and the other waitress tucked in the back on her phone, Yeah it's gonna be a easy NO for me Sports City.

AVOID this place at all cost. My boyfriend went in here tonight. He sat at the bar for 20 minutes and not once did anyone acknowledge him. When he finally was able to get the attention of one of the waitress to get his order taken, she acted reluctant to helping and also very disrespectful. The manager Scott was also extremely rude and unprofessional. He walked out due to the lack of service.

Walked to make a Togo order. Entered the establishment, walked to where they take Togo orders and was told that I can't make a Togo order without my ID. I don't usually leave without it but I did today. If your establishment is that bad that you must ID people just to make an order then maybe you need security at the front door searching & vetting people before they can enter. The food has always been good here hence why I came but the service has never been this sorry. Not sure if I'd return as it is not a safe environment to eat. ****EDIT**** Thank you to the establishment for replying and acknowledging the issue. Just to make a note, I did not order/request/or look for alcoholic beverages. The first person that acknowledged me asked for my ID, I stated that I just wanted to make a Togo order, was told "we'll wait".

Service is really bad!!!! Dealt with one waitress at our table, just me and my cousin, and ordered a couple of drinks, just drinks. Took more than 20 minutes. Finished drinks and wanted to order another round. Another waitress took our drink order and after 30 minutes told me that it wasn't her job to take my drink order. Then she told me that she told the other waitress about my order, who's been filtering, laughing around our table and finally remembers to place my drink order (now over an hour). Now we're feeling stupid sitting at a table for an hour with no drink or service. Manager is nowhere to be found. Probably in the back trying to make out with some of the staff. Just saying.... It's good if the staff knows you, but good luck if you just happen to stop by like I did.

We used to visit here all the time when we moved into the area. It was always full. Then the service took a turn for the worst! We had stopped coming here for awhile. We recently started coming back and the service was ok. Tonight however, I was very disappointed in the service. We did not receive our drinks until we got our food. They messed up my son's order, which had to go back. The wait wasn't too long. We then ordered a to-go meal for our daughter. The toppings were horrible!! The lettuce was welted very bad and the tomatoes were rotted. Image if she had just eaten it instead of looking everything over. I'm sorry, but I have given this restaurant so many chances. I'm tired of it. UPDATE: We took the burger back to Sports City and asked to speak to the manager. We explained how we were there recently to eat and took the burger to-go. He had the nerve to say, "I don't know if you ordered this in the morning and are bringing this back." My husband politely showed him the receipt with the timestamp. We got our money back. That manager is lucky my husband is older because he would have cussed him out so bad they would have called the police. We left there and went the TGI FRIDAYS to get the burger. Never again Sports City! Not even if they were giving away free food!!!
