I will say Tasty Chicken and Wings is by far the best! Fresh food, fresh 🍹. I visited 4/23/22 had the nachos and my guy had the Barria tacos with fresh mango marharitas!!! It was very very good. Try it try it!. They have good street tacos and wings are good too. 👍

Pro tip for anyone looking for a reasonably priced high protein cheat meal or dinner out. Prices, quality, quantity of food all excellent. Their Mexican food is "meh" but the chicken, wings, pupusas, and most of the sides (especially the plantains) make up for it.

Yesterday was the very first time I have been to this restaurant, I ordered myself the chicken breast quesadilla and my friend the rotisserie chicken salad. Oh my goodness! The flavor of the chicken was ah-mazing! The quesadilla was the best I've ever had, absolutely loved their homemade sour cream, the guacamole was so fresh and delicious, and my friend said the salad was just as fresh and so wonderful, and it was only a salad! I went back today and tried a few different things as well, and WOW! This place is the real thing! This is also the first time I have ever tried salvadorans food, love love love! This is a definite must try to totally understand!

Tasty chicken & wings had a variety of delicious entrees and beverages, the restaurant is clean and well kept the staff is professional and courteous the Owner is there and very nice lady.

OMG, the birria tacos here are absolutely the best !! My wife couldn't stop praising them, and the fajita nachos I had were very plentiful and so good. Their wings are better than Wing Stop by a long mile in my opinion. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

We love Tasty Chicken & Wings. Don't let the name fool you, it's a great Salvadorian place. The pork pupusas are YUM! Steak street tacos are always good too. The chicken soup is another fav! Everything is made to order so it does take some time to get your food. The owner always checks to make sure everything is satisfactory.

First time trying them and I can't wait to try some of everything on the menu. I had the 2pc fish combo with coleslaw. I must admit it was actually really good. Mind you I'm not a big fan of coleslaw, but ate it all. The restaurant is a one stop shop from chicken, fish, tacos, enchiladas etc. One of the best I've found since I moved to this side.

Today was my first time trying Tasty Chicken and Wings. I was so happy with my fried talapia. When I got to the counter the aroma of my fish came wafting from the bag. It was so delicious! Coming from California where the Mexican cuisine is superb, I can’t wait to try other dishes!! Especially since they serve black beans and the Mexican rice has no mixed vegetables in it…. Just like home!

This place is a hidden gem. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. Great staff and we loved the food. Courteous service. The chicken street tacos were very good and so were the Papusas . They have indoor seating and to take orders to go. They make their own salsa. It was good! Prices are very reasonable.

Tried them through Uber, the food was so good we ordered again. Tasty, flavorful and good portion sizes. The pupusas were out of this world. Pickled relish was a perfect compliment to the pupusas. The fajita meal had shrimp, steak and chicken, the wings were amazing. We loved everything both times! Great food, will visit here often

They are truly authentic when it comes to Mexican food. The small staff really pays attention and makes you feel like you're in their home and not a restaurant. Enjoyed the food and it was very well flavoured.

Tasty Chicken was a vender at one of the high schools in Mesquite (West) for Mexican Heritage Month. They served papusas that were so delicious I told my DIL we would go try look restaurant out next day. We were definitely NOT DISAPPOINTED. Everything was so DELICIOUS just perfect amount of flavor. The chicken and wings are really good, but the pupusas are my favorite! Their menu includes chicken wings, pupusas and several Mexican dishes. My husband and I have tried a couple different plates and they’ve all been so good! Prices are fair and they also offer frozen margaritas to go. Delicious food that is way better than simple Tex Mex.

I ordered the wings and fries, flauta plate, and a torta. MAAAAAANNNN the portions were huge as well as the flavor! So glad I stopped here for dinner on the way home last night! My boyfriend and I were already planning what to order next.The workers are also very humble and kind. They are great!

They were a vendor at WMHS Hispanuc Heritage Festival. The very next day we had to get more because it was all we could think about eating. We had the pork/cheese pupusas platter (not on menu: 3 pupusas, refried pinto beans, rice) served with the slaw and sauce. Everything is perfectly seasoned, no need to add extra salt or pepper. If you sit down, they bring out cantina-style tortilla chips and salsa, and refried black beans. Need to come back and try the rest of the menu. Mexican/El Salvadoran fusion cuisine.

This place does not disappoint. The catfish was really good, fresh, hot & well seasoned. They also have to-go margaritas 🍹. I'm definitely a loyal customer now.

Authentic, cozy place. Food was delicious. Service attentive. I think it was karaoke night (or maybe they just pay a guy to sing) Friday was the perfect night for just eating and hanging but not too much talking since music was kind of loud and is a small place. I'm definitely coming back.

Yes, this place is great! Selection of numerous Latin foods from various countries. All comfort food based, so no elegant sit down service. However, staff is super customer service friendly and the selections are great. Portion sizes depends on what you're ordering.

Favorite place. We eat here at least once a week and everything tastes incredible. The pupusas, barbacoa, and mangonada are my favorites, and my hubby likes the carne asada and the dry burrito. Waitstaff is friendly and really attentive and prices are great for the amount of food.

Every time I call an order in 20-25mins ahead of time it’s never ready I still end up waiting 25-30mins for my food. What’s the point of calling ahead.. they don’t be busy ijs smh the food is good but the timing is horrible and it’s not just once but again the food is good

Great place to go and eat. They almost have everything you can think of. Mexican, American, Salvadorian... The list goes on. I've tried Mexican dishes here, I've had fried wings here, margaritas, Philly cheese steaks, spaghetti, catfish, rotisserie chicken and whole lots more. All of it tastes great and I would encourage everyone to try this place. The owner is amazing and always accommodating with outstanding food! Great place to eat!

This was our first time coming to Tasty Chicken and Wings and the dishes we had were awesome!! Do not sleep on this place! The establishment was very clean throughout including the bathroom. The service was great, Jovanna was very friendly, sweet, nice, informative, and funny. The salsa could use just a hint more seasoning like salt, lime, and cilantro but still yummy. We did a pork and cheese pupusa to start and the flavor was great, we loved that it had like a buttery soft crunch crust and the salsa added another level of flavor. Our entree was the Tuesday special, rotisserie chicken quesadilla and it was delish. The chicken was tender and the veggie mix was cooked great, not overcooked. The Fajita Mixta was a mixture of beef fajita, chicken fajita, and shrimp and it was grilled all very well with some good seasoning! Even the refried beans were really good and I do not typically like beans. Everything was very very Tasty! We had to give our compliments to the chef!! Mesquite people and everyone passing through come and stop by and have a bite, this is a hidden little gem! We will definitely be back for more 😘!

I was in the area and spotted this restaurant across the street. I absolutely love tacos and I was not disappointed. I ordered 2 steak tacos on corn shell (no onions). It was cooked fresh to order. The meat was seasoned perfect..not too bland and not too salty. Service with a smile goes a long way!

Staff was very friendly, got a sample of one kf the drinks with rum, it was delicious! The pineapple added the right amount of acidity to brighten the drink up. There is also complementary chips which were good. We had a rotisserie chicken taco, papusa, and a torta sandwich. The papusas and tortas were larger portions than we expected, which was a plus. Definitely left feeling very full for about $20 for 2 people. Oh and the steak in the tortas was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place

Mini Quesadilla Barbacoa Platter, everything was delicious and the portions are really big. Definitely recommend this place. The dining room is small and the place in general is small but the flavor of the food makes up for it. Added the before and after!

Great place to eat. I usually just get the wings special. Not a bad price for the size. You have to get the pupusas. At least get one to go with your meal. Super delicious, the mixed one is my favorite.

Ac and fans on blast very important when dining in Texas. Large variety to pick from. I was impressed. Best place I have found in Mesquite to eat at. We will be back.

I love this place! They are so hospitable and have a wide variety menu, I’ve switched up and everything I’ve tried is amazinggg! I’ve had a sub sandwich, Mexican tacos, catfish and wings and all were equally good! Not just Mexican or American food they thrive in any area which I’m always sketchy about. Please remember to tip the servers and staff they are so kind and work very hard! Here’s a picture of my carne asada made with HOME MADE TORTILLAS by the way and my boyfriends catfish and wings. Also margarita was great and pretty strong!

The food had so much flavor. We ordered the rotisserie chicken which had an amazing tender juicy marinade! The fajita meat was very tender! The birria tacos were full of flavor as well! I drive all the way across town just to go to this exact location I live over here by la Prada. They have the best pupusas and birria tacos it is kind of pricey but it's definitely worth it. I gave four stars because I have found a lot of fat in the meat but I'm not going to complain too much because their food is amazing I will definitely be visiting tonight

This place has good American options. I haven’t tried their Salvadoran food, yet. The several dishes I’ve gotten multiple times are their chicken wings, quesadillas and fish & shrimp combo. These dishes have been hot and fresh. The staff are friendly and polite. I’ve only done takeout, so zero comments on the decor.

To be honest this might be a spot to have drinks with friends or your lover .. but not for kids ... they also have karaoke.. its a small spot not to much tables. they have a bar.. make sure you request your food hot not cold .. 😤

My family of 4 went to this place on a Wednesday night. Yes it's true that the food was good and the service was nice. We had 2 orders of fried fish, wings and fries, 1 six piece wings and 1 grilled fish plate. The fried fish and wings were good. The grilled fish needed to be seasoned. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because they brought our plates out at different time. The grilled fish came out 1st and had to be started before the rest of us received our food. The fried fish and wings came out 7 mins later and then 5 mins later the all wing plate came out. That really needs to be changed. All the longer to prep food should have been cooked 1st and since the grilled fish didnt talk long to cook that should have been prepared last so we could have enjoyed our food as a family. If we go back you better believe it will be for the chicken and fish and it will be a call in order to go.

This place has good tacos not the best in dallas but by far the best in mesquite. Giving 2 stars because I witnessed the cooks placing priority over Mexican ppl orders. Long as you are Mexican/Hispanic race this place will take care of you and make your food right. If you are white/black or anything other than Mexican be prepared to wait and get over charged

Ordered on grub hub and the order was nit ready when I arrived. The rice tasted like dish water the refried beans were soupy but the black beans were really good. Do not foresee another visit.

Food was alright. Upset because I wanted some authentic Mexican tacos to go with my wings and that's not what I got. The chicken was good and i enjoyed the fries. I also ordered a shrimp quesadilla which was pretty good as well. The plates don't come with a drink you have to buy it separately. For those prices the plate should've came with a drink.

Not really Mexican food restaurant. Went for Caldo de res which had boiled plantain as an ingredient. Soup was dark but not very appetizing. Do not claim to be authentic mexican restaurant and butcher a simple caldo de Res. Which might i add wasn’t cheap. I’d paid $15 for authentic caldo de res

Picked up my order and it was completely wrong. I called to explain that they may have given me the wrong order and the lady argued with me about what I ordered. My wife and myself used to eat here at least once a week, but will no longer be supporting this small business. I would give zero stars if I could.

They have rotisserie chicken plastered all over menu - in tacos , in burritos, in quesadillas, 1/4 chicken 1/2 chicken ,whole chicken. I call to order and the girl answers with hello? I ordered the 3 wings and fish. The fish was burned and super gross. I paid $15 for that mess. I could’ve gotten the 3 wings and fries special for $8.99 but I didn’t know about it until I was leaving. The wings were ok but the fish was horrible🤮
