I really just went for the pancake because I love them but after looking at the menu, I noticed they had my favorite pot roast meal with mashed potatoes & gravy. I still had my pancakes, plus the pot roast meal and everything was delicious! Btw, I did notice that the shop seemed a bit more spacious.

The server was very attentive. He explained the different choices that were new to us and made recommendations.The food was hot, seasoned appropriately and was tasty. We did miss not having a peg game at the table.

Loved it as always. The food could have and has been better but will not stop me from returning. Best waiter we have had in a while, though, of anywhere we have gone. Love the antique decor and the store in front that has lots of stuff from kids toys to grown-up clothes, including a small military section.

This was my first experience at Cracker Barrel and it was absolutely phenomenal. The breakfast here is among the best that I've had in Midland. THEIR FLOUR GAME IS ON POINT. Warm, fluffy, delicious pancakes and muffins. Real eggs. Tasty meats. Exceptional table service that will make you want to leave a tip. Do yourself a favor and visit real soon.

I had the best experience thanks to our server, Jaden! From the moment we sat down, Jaden was on top of everything. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. My dad, uncle, and I went to this restaurant about three weeks ago. Our waitress was Breanna. She was very attentive to what we wanted and checked if we needed drinks! She was very nice and the food was good!

We had a delicious meal here and especially appreciated our server, Ty, who is simply a delightful human. The grilled catfish was spiced just right, and the chocolate cake for dessert was amazing.

I glanced at the reviews before coming in today and they sort of had me anticipating a bad experience. This was actually a great experience. Waitress (LaTausha) super fast and friendly and the food top notch…. So I dunno. In my opinion this is a great branch of the franchise.

We had dinner in Seymour IN. The service was EXCELLENT, waitress was very friendly & helpful. The food was delicious, which is saying something bc since the new change (new CEO)we’ve been to other Cracker Barrel & the food quality was not good & we don’t like the new ambiance, we miss the historical flair. We are traveling with a camper & was given permission to stay in the lot. The nxt morning we went in for breakfast, they were slammed with a youth group of 160, we were shown to a table (very few left), waitress took our order in timely fashion & received our coffee right away & then our food. Kudos to the manager, she had everything running like clockwork even with the volume of people there, and the whole staff came in an hour early for the youth group. We can’t say enough about the Seymour IN store‼️, it was very refreshing.

Im giving my honest review of this cracker barrel. I got seated right away obviously because they were not busy, I went there on monday 9-15-25 around 10am. I got the country boy breakfast and obviously I wish the portions were bigger because I ordered 2 extra eggs and tore right through them lol. But anyway at first no one waited on me and I just didnt see any waiters. But then a waiter named ty noticed me. But as soon as we saw each other, he didnt hesitate to ask me if I have been served or not. And that shows me he cares about his job because he just made sure, unlike the others. It takes 0 effort to just check to see if someone had been served or not and it saves the awkwardness of the customer having to walk over to a waiter and asked to be served.Ty was a hard worker and he just was a 5 star waiter and deserves a raise! Also its cool that the buiscuits are free so it isnt the worst for money wise

We love stopping at this Cracker Barrel! The blueberry pancakes are fantastic — fluffy, flavorful, and exactly what you want for a comfort breakfast. One of the biggest perks for us as RV travelers is being able to park overnight and simply walk inside for a great meal the next morning. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. Pro tip: avoid parking under the trees unless you want some unexpected “nature” on your RV by morning 😄 Otherwise, it’s a convenient, welcoming stop that we always enjoy!

This was a stopover for us on an interrupted RV trip due to an impending storm. Spent the night in the parking lot with 1500 birds and three other RVs. Headed in for breakfast shortly after they opened and had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of being taken care of by Connie. Her service, kindness, attentiveness, and overall presence in general rank this meal up with the best I’ve had at any restaurant. She made us feel so welcome, like nothing we asked for was a burden, and treated everyone else in her section with equal kindness and respect. Food was great as always - and it was served under five minutes from the time we ordered, hot and fresh, generous but not so much food as to be wasteful. The hash brown casserole is still a treat. Dining room was clean. They give veterans 10% off now through the reward program, so that was an extra perk for us that felt nice. But seriously. Connie is the reason I’m sitting in the parking lot writing this review. She turned my bad attitude right around. Grateful for her!

I've always loved going to Cracker Barrel. The gift shop is full of nostalgia from my child hood, 1980's and new beautiful things. My first glitter globe was from here and is still going strong after 20 yr. I love the atmosphere and old world decorations through out. I love the fire place in the main dinnroom and always want to sit there. The food is always good. The biscuits and gravy are always warm, flavorful and delicious. You can taste the buttermilk in the biscuits. The fried pickles are crispy and flavorful, seasoned breading. I love the collard greens, grits, and warm seasoned apple slices. The battered catfish is good, the bacon man n cheese is fabulous and the new pecan, Carmel cream cheese french toast is too die for. The weekends are very busy and there will be a wait time. This is one of my favorite places to eat and I always find things in the gift shop every time I go. I was disappointed that there was no eggs Benedict on the menu but it does change w the seasons.

We had a large group of 12people around 8pm. all of our food came out together & hot. The kitchen made fresh biscuits & corn bread for us. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO TYREE! If he is on shift ask for his section! its been a long time since we had a server who not only kept every glass on the table full but also was a true pleasure to be around. He was knowledgeable and kind. He went above & beyond making sure everyone was happy, he even brought the kids a wooden toy to play with.

Food was very good this last time. It had been pretty disappointing in previous visits. I hope it continues being better.

The courts at the cashier area will not courteous knowledgeable in. It seem like they were arguing about something among themselves. It was a total of three ladies and it seemed the three were in a dispute among themselves. They had unpleasant attitudes.

We frequent Cracker Barrel and have always enjoyed the food. Jalen was our most recent server and he was excellent. He was very attentive and polite and really tried to make sure we had everything we needed. We will look for him in the future!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve eaten an Cracker Barrel and I didn’t realize they’ve changed their breakfast menu! Gone were the omelets and “Keto”-friendly options! However, our friendly waitress got the kitchen to make me scrambled eggs with onions, bells peppers and cheese, yummy! Add crispy bacon and my meal was complete.

The atmosphere was really good and everyone was nice. There were a couple of issues that could use some work. We were at the hostess stand for quite some time without anyone even acknowledging us. In my opinion if the cashier or someone in the store would’ve just said something like “someone will be with you shortly,” that would’ve been perfectly fine. Once the hostess got there she was great! Also, our waitress was kind but had a bunch of reasons why “ we wouldn’t see her much, our bread wouldn’t be delivered soon, our dessert wasn’t done correctly, etc…” Overall, we eventually got all our stuff and would go back. Being a rewards member helped me when I made a purchase in the store.

09/28/21 First time coming to the one in Midland. Had no wait around 7pm which was great and our server immediately brought cornbread and biscuits and asked for our drinks. Food was ready quickly and service was great. I had the peach tea and broccoli and cheese chicken with mashed potatoes and dumplings. My husband had the bacon cheddar chicken with broccoli and carrots. Both were delicious and would recommend everything except the mashed potatoes. I forgot about the cute little stores Cracker Barrel’s have with great gifts for everyone you know and at this time of year Thanksgiving and Christmas decor. Definitely would come again!

Hubby liked the meatloaf dinner and I had the cola chocolate cake which was also good. We stayed overnight in our rv. We are so thankful that they offer a safe place for rvs to stay after a long day of driving.

No biscuits. We went for the biscuits and the server told us that they did not have any because they prioritized the catering order for that day. We ran out of drinks several times and by the time the food got there, we were just so disappointed. The plates were super hot and the food looked dehydrated. It wasn’t even busy but our server disappeared for 15 minutes at a time.

The hostess seemed annoyed when we asked to sit in a section that was not crowded. Upon seating us, she told us that she had no server for my table. Within minutes of sitting our server, Lori J, came and took our drink orders. I thanked her for taking care of us and explained that my mother is a senior and did not feel comfortable sitting in a crowded dining room since we're still in the middle of a pandemic. She completely understood and said "I'm here for you". She provided exceptional service. The hot chocolate looked great but it tasted like chocolate flavored hot water. We must have arrived during a rush because it took a while to get our food. It was kinda cold and not very tasty. I would have given them a single star, but I gave three because of the service Lori provided.

I have ordered the Thanksgiving Meal for my family the last 3 years. We always have had fabulous food, however this year something drastically changed. The dressing recipe must’ve changed. It usually comes with broth to put in it before putting in the oven. Not this year. I followed the directions and within 10 minutes in the oven, it was burnt. It also didn’t look or taste the same. Luckily, I had a couple of boxes of Stoce Top Stuffing. The Turkey Gravy also tasted different. The turkey was great, though.

We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food. The man seating people was the rudest person I’ve encountered in a long time. The restaurant was a little over 1/2 full. He said it would be an hour wait. My 79 year old dad asked him why so long. Then this CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE MAN yelled ITS A ONE HOUR WAIT at my dad. I’m furious!!! I will report him to every Cracker Barrel employee I can reach until I find the right one to make a change. Unbelievable!!!

Force-squeezed a family of 5 into a small table for 4 for breakfast. No space to eat the food and the server non-attentive to help us make the most of our tight space. Sunday night. Arrived at 8:05. Between 10 and 12 tables in the restaurant were seated. Approximately 30 tables were empty.) Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Had to wait another 10 for service. No food until after 8:45. Spoke to the manager and he claimed there was nothing he could do about it. The oil field wrecked his restaurant. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if you experience the same, at least until a downturn.

Our waitress was great but only had one cook. Ridiculous it takes an hour for your food to come out. Asked for pancakes to come out after we ate our meal. Delivered with meal. Pecan pancakes very good though.

My husband got scrambled eggs that were so undercooked with two hairs and eggs shells, grits that were so runny you couldn't eat them. The ham was mostly fat. The biscuits were alright. I got over medium eggs that the white part was undercooked the chicken fried chicken was good. Overall we weren't happy with the quality of the food. Never going back.

I came here tonight to enjoy dinner with my boyfriend and we were greeted by a very happy waitress, who was working through a rush as quickly as possible while being stopped many times by customers she never lost her smile. But before our food even made it to the table we watched her manager RAUL come out and tell our table neighbors he would not have the very over cooked chicken remade for them and then proceeded to get onto our hard working waitress for not cleaning a table that was emptied from a big party. And many times he had no issue standing in the kitchen judging his employees who were running around. But he forgets as a manager he is also AN EMPLOYEE! Waitress deserves 5 starts. But he ruined the experience the way he treated her very publicly

Service was nice, but had to go find napkins, I ordered breakfast, no butter or jam. I asked for ketchup, took awhile to get it. So didn't even bother asking for my stuff I needed. I would understand if it was busy. It wasn't. I got biscuits and gravy. Looks like they ran out of gravy and scrape the bottom of the pan for it.

It seemed busy! I waited almost an hour after I was told 15 to 20 min wait time. Food took over an hour to get and it was served cold. I had cold eggs, hard sausage, rubbery bacon, cold ham. Waitress was friendly but cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate that was just warm enough to drink. I did not complain, she looked like she could barely keep up. There were empty tables so I didn't think it was too busy. Maybe she was new? It's ok, I'll try Midlands location again after the Holidays!

I ordered the Grilled and Crispy Tender Family Meal for a friend's family while the mom recovers from surgery. When I picked up my order the grilled tenders were very small and it didn't seem like they were enough for a child to even fill up on. The fruit side was missing. So I went inside to let them know. They said it would take 15 minutes to prepare the fruit side. The receipt showed items circled so I'm thinking that is where they checked to make sure all items were in the bag.

It takes forever for someone to take our drink order, and once the food arrives, we’re fortunate if we see our server again for a refill. The servers often appear disinterested, wandering aimlessly or hiding in the back, only occasionally peeking out and still barely offering any assistance. We’ve even witnessed people approaching the server station to refill their cups. If that’s the case, they should provide a self-serve refill station. The managers seem indifferent to these issues. It’s time for them to improve their service!

Waited 45 minutes when told 30 minute wait for a party of 3, received table confirmation, went to get table, then told we weren’t checked in. Host proceeded to argue that we didn’t check in when I specifically spelt the name and number for check in. Then told to wait for another 30 minutes due to their error.

Our waitress was the worst waitress ever, she took 20 minutes to take our order, we ask for the biscuits, the other tables that came after us got their food and their biscuits first, no refills, nothing, worst customer service ever, and the manager just said “I’m so sorry” lame.

On July 28 2025 My wife and I dove to the Midland store for a meal of campfire beef dinner and chicken dinner. We arrived at 6pm and were seated very quickly and the waitress Ava took our drink order and we ordered our meal at the same time of the drinks. And we're told that the beef campfire was not going to be ready for 40 minutes. So I ordered the chicken campfire and also the beef to go when it comes out of the oven. And Ava came back and told us that she lost the order on my wife's chicken dinner sides and she told her what they were, this was 15 minutes later. At 6:35 Ava comes to our table ad tells us that they are out of chicken campfire and it won't be ready for over an hour. And then tells us that there is only one chef working. She made us sit there all that time and she was not honest with us. And at 6:45 I paid my bill for the diet coke 3.49 and there were no refills on that or the water. Bad service and NO cook. I am very disappointed in that store and the Management. We were at the same store in Midland about a year ago and the service and the food was horrible, a year later and they got worse? How does that store stay in business?

Tried this place in 2014 and it was a horrible experience. Figured it was because of the boom and it's hard for anyone to find staff to work. Tried it again this past month and it is still crappy. We had party of 5 and the waitress sat us at a table for 4 and left one of us in the walking area, ended up telling her we were going to turn the tables so we could fit comfortably. We each ordered our breakfast plates, and they're supposed to come with sides, they decided they'd should put all our biscuits on one plate and not individually. I've been to plenty of cracker barrels and have never seen them run as poorly as this one. Officially never going back here.

Horrible service!! Just got watched by every server, not a singe drink offer either! waited about 15 minutes for nothing, dont recommend this place at all. only person who greeted & was nice was the man at the gift store area. think even the night manager even stared & walked away.

One star is too generous for the experience we had today. We waited at the hostess stand for about five minutes, and a man named Thomas finally came over, but said nothing to us. He just started grabbing menus. We assumed he was getting our table ready, so we followed him, only for him to turn around rudely and ask, "Who are you?" It was clear he was seating another party. We went back to the hostess station, where Thomas proceeded to greet and seat two other groups that arrived after us. I finally had to interrupt and ask if we could get a table, but at that point, we were so frustrated with the complete lack of communication and rudeness that we decided to go somewhere else for lunch. The entire time, Thomas never spoke a single word to us directly. It's a shame because we usually love Cracker Barrel, but we won't be returning to this location.

Ordered online, waited an additional 10 minutes out in parking lot. Food was cold, eggs were over hard instead of over medium and the icing on the cake? Hair in my French toast!

Checked in at 9:40 food took over an hour and it was mediocre to be nice got our ticket to leave at 11:44. Server was great but this was ridiculous!!

Scrambled Eggs & bacon were overcooked. Toast had a funky taste to it and hubby said the grits were the worst he's ever tasted. By far the worst food we have eaten at a cracker barrel. I must admit that the lady that served us was phenomenal!

It started off with a 20 minute waiting on drinks and biscuits then it went to getting our food and no one was able to get the order correctly. It took 20 extra minutes to get French toast and eggs and biscuits what I got from other servers that Girl has been trained three or 5 times and still can’t even get a simple order down no customer service no communication with people couldn’t understand her. Door Dash Delivery. Biscuits were so small and hard. Pancakes were cold.4.19 for a Dr. Pepper that was all soda water and undrinkable. Door Dash did their part. Fast and efficient. Do better Cracker Barrel!

First off hostess sat us at a dirty table. Still had trash and food on the table so we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Ordered coffee that was barely Luke warm when we got it. Food was cold. Very disappointing for Cracker Barrel

Ordered delivery. Door dash got to restaurant about 20 minutes later. They had him waiting for another 40-45 minutes for bread they said. When the food finally arrived EVERYTHING was cold. And I mean cold..And oh yeah, they forgot my chicken on top of everything. I don't get it. Smh😡😡😡 Also,.mac and cheese was bland as all hell. No flavor whatsoever. Whats the point of going online or on the app for the waitlist to then go inside and be told to wait longer. I went online, it said 20-25 minutes ok cool then I decided to download the app so that it would be more accurate and once I put "Im here" it changed to 35 minutes, no problem. We wait and we decide to go inside just to be there if they call our name for them to say it would be another 20-25 minutes and that online wasnt accurate. I had forgotten why we hadnt been to this place in a while. Never again.

Horrible service. Food took forever to come out. Steak was cooked wrong, baked potatoes was not cooked really hard. My catfish had no flavor, and seemed like the oil hadn’t been changed in a few weeks or so. Didn’t touch our food and talked to the manager and she was horrible as well. Took 6$ of the whole bill. Very disappointed because that was our go to place. Won’t be back!!

First I called to ask the waittime, the guy said they dont tell you over the phone but that I need to check the website. I did and it said, 5-10min wait, then I thought ok, Ill go, then we get there and the lady says its a 20 min wait, so I got upset because what is the point of telling me to go online for waittime if its not even the actual time. Then when we got our bread basket, I was shocked to find Both biscuits had Plastic cooked in. Wth??!?? I ordered a burger and it was good and my son really liked the greenbeans, but I had a stomach ache and it really made me lose my confidence in anything here. So, even if my burger was good I just didnt enjoy my meal. Worst of all, after telling staff NO one even appologized, not the waitress, cashier or host. So I felt very disappointed with my dine in experience. The little store is always cute to look through.

Went there for lunch on Friday 21st November. They said the wait would be about 15 minutes but took like 30. My sister ordered the meatloaf with cornbread and I ordered the all day breakfast with biscuit and gravy. After over half hour they brought our food with no cornbread or biscuit and gravy. They said it would be another 12-15 minutes. Would we like to wait? Huh? Why would they start to make biscuits and cornbread when they've brought out our meal already? That was the most frustrating ordeal. We just got up and left after being there about an hour and a half, had to go back to work without eating. Horrible service! Will never go to cracker barrel in life again!

I had placed an online order and we had waited a while to have anyone tell us what was going on. I went inside to find out that because of a bus load of kids that they would be refunding our ticket and giving us what food they had of our order this was Oct 18,2025. I waited the 3-5 business days to see if the charge was reversed and it was not. I have called up a few times with being told the manager Ashely was going to take care of it. Now it is Nov 13 and still nothing. Very sad. This was $97 so definitely not just one missed meal

After being seated, took 15 minutes to a server to take out drink order, asked a server in the next section over twice and they ignored us. Had another server walk by our table multiple times for 15 minutes. Finally manager got involved. And made the server wait our table. Ordered our food and it took 50 minutes for it to come out. And then the food came out missing the kids meals and it was cold. App also came out with main entrees 50 minutes after ordering. This was a very poor experience, and we will not be coming back for a long while. Cracker Barrel used to be our favorite restaurant, but this location has killed it for us

Waited 50 minutes to be seated. Another 30 minutes after we ordered our food only to find out our waitress didn’t put in our order. Only thing she could offer was some bread. Not even push our order to the front since she messed up. She expected us to wait all over again with hungry kids. We left. We won’t be returning.

Placed a takeout order. Arrived at the restaurant 30mins later for pick up. Arrive and the lady tells them in the back and I wait. And wait. And wait some more. Only to look up and I had been waiting a whole hr!!! Get in the car with my food EVERYTHINGS COLD!!! HOW?! Im definitely done with cracker barrel.

I am not sure how we get the worst servers every time we come. She was slow, kept telling the baby what to do "eat your food", was beyond rude when the baby asked "are you bringing me fries" her exact words were " yeah, when I order them". The hashbrown casserole was dry, and bland. Very unimpressed with yet another visit.

Freezing cold in restaurant ask if they could turn on the heater or move us seats they did neither so left sitting by the window shaking from being so cold. The food was warm when it came out but it quickly turned cold so couldn’t really enjoy it or use it to warm ourselves. No one came to refill our drinks. Waited 20 mins for the ticket so we could leave

This was a do over from 2 weeks ago when they provided no gravy whatsoever on a chicken fried steak meal with mashed. Oh yeah did I mention I requested extra sawmill gravy. Ok after calling 3 times and waiting over 15 minutes I got the manager on duty Ashley. Her promise was to refund the charges and put two make it right meals on the books. Did I mention I made this order online at 3pm for 6:30pm carside pickup. Well after arriving at 6:35 I waited 15 minutes longer and had to go in to get it. Thinking I could trust them I left only to get to my Airbnb 20 miles away discovering no gravy. So last night Raul was the manager on duty. Same scenario, ordered at 3pm, pickup for 6:30. 6:45 walking out finally with my order. Sad service isn't what it used to be and neither are the prices. I just want what I pay for. Did I mention the attitude and push back I got from Raul?

Second visit in less than 4 days. First time was a family breakfast, 2 adults and a baby. Took over 15mins to be greeted, had to ask for drinks from a random server(which we never got), took so long we were ready to order by the time we were finally greeted (she only noticed us after greeting a man who was seated next to us). Still had to ask for drinks again. My husband never got his biscuits for his biscuits and gravy which we were still charged for. Second time we didn't even get to eat. Made the reservation ahead of time for 6 before 9am. Checked in with the hostess to be told our 10min wait is now 20mins. This is after she seated a man without his party present and a couple who walked in front of me and she said nothing. After 25mins and watching 19 people be sat, many of them walk-ins, I asked the hostess about our table. She said still waiting. We had two small babies with us and couldn't wait another 20mins. We ended up going to Jimmy's Egg and we were seated immediately with a party of 4 adults and 2 babies with no issues. Will not be frequenting this Cracker Barrel anymore.

Entrees were fine, asked for biscuits three times to be told they were out but watched as other waitresses brought biscuits to surrounding tables. Never got our drinks refilled. Watched our waitress go out of her way to walk completely around to avoid our table, we had to walk up to the entrance of the kitchen where the waitresses go in and out to get another waitresses attention for a to go box and our ticket to pay, we got the to go box, but none of the other waitresses including the shift lead could get our ticket so we could pay… we aren’t rude people, and we use manners so I’m not sure what caused our treatment.. they weren’t busy either.

Horrible and won’t be back. Came in and gave our name and number to the man at the front to put our name down for a reservation that we were told would take 30 minutes, walked around the gift shop took a whole hour, then finally had to walk up to the front to check and see how long our table would take and turns out the man didn’t even put in our reservation. They couldn’t find our name or our phone number. They sat us as fast as they could. Once we were sat down, our waitress came over to take our drink and order which we put in all at the same time to make it easier on her. That was the only time other than when she dropped our drinks off that we saw her our entire visit. The two New York strip steaks that we ordered came out cold and unseasoned. We both had to put salt and pepper, and still even after could not eat them. My Mom‘s pot roast came out cold. After we were done eating, what we could, we sat there for 20 minutes, waiting for our waitress to come back. I eventually had to get up and out of my seat to find another waitress to help us get our ticket and to go boxes. Service was HORRIBLE and so was the food.

There was a time when Cracker Barrel was all about service. Clearly, they’ve lost touch with reality. Walked in and was immediately seated. Great. 15 minutes later and as the waiter in my section walked by 3 times, I’d still yet to be greeted or have my drink order taken. Never again. You lose CB. Terrible.
