Was really good and a great value. Everything tasted fresh and I really enjoyed it
Fast fresh friendly staff the food was Amazing fresh hot made on spot very clean and ready to serve and answer any questions the chef and cooking team were awesome I highly recommend this place for any time noodles 🍜 💯 💘😍
The food was so good. The noodles are fresh, made right there where u can actually watch them when they are making them. The dumplings was the best.
The service was great! I was seated immediately and received my drink within 30 seconds. The menu is simple with about 10 soups to choose from. The prices are some of the best I have seen in Midland. I decided to go with the beef noodle soup with hot chili oil and it was delicious and the ingredients were fresh! The cooks are seen making fresh noodles.
This is a must stop on a cold, rainy day! I have gone to Noodle House for as long as I’ve lived here and they have yet to disappoint. I recommend their roasted chicken noodle with spice(in the image) and their spicy wontons! 😋 I love how it’s customizable in terms of spice and certain ingredients! Like how when I’m pretty hungry going to Noodle house I’ll ask for the roasted chicken noodle soup with wontons inside, bok choy with extra spice!! The atmosphere is also very calming, with paintings on the wall, the amazing smells, and the guy making noodles right in front of you! Thank you Noodle House for providing such comforting food!
Food is always fresh and delicious. The beef rolls are my favorite!! Even great when you order ahead. I don't particularly like sitting inside. But great staff and amazing food
Super yummy soup and dumplings! You can watch them make the noodles and dumplings at the window. The food was very hot and fresh, and everything was delicious! We tried the beef bao, red bean dessert bao (which was super cute!), tonkatsu Ramen, and a beef roll. We loved everything and will definitely be back!! The staff was very nice and helpful as well 😊
I loved everything about this restaurant! The noodles for my ramen were made fresh almost in front of me and everything had a high quality that you could taste. The staff was very attentive and they made me and my party feel very welcomed. The tonkotsu ramen with pork belly was definitely the best thing I ate there. Definitely a hidden gem
I love this place. My favorite is dish is the Youpo noodle with beef. It’s so delicious and flavorful. I like how you can see the chefs making and stretching the noodles too. I’m also a huge fan of their potstickers and beef steamed bao. As for their soups I’ve tried the beef noodle soup which comes in a huge bowl. The wait staff here is also very attentive and friendly. Give this place a try, you’ll enjoy it.
Not what I was expecting to find in Midland, TX. Had a decent number of reviews in the area so I checked them out. I noticed the guy at the counter was hand pulling noodles so I had to ask which dish has the hand pulled noodles. The waitress told me all of the noodle dishes are hand pulled and she recommended the spicy beef noodle soup. It wasn't very spicy, more like a mild to medium spice, but it was very good. The slices of beef had good flavor. The noodles felt springy and fresh. I also got an order of the spicy baby cucumbers. It was good, but the slices were a bit large so the center of the cucumbers had little flavor. Green onion pancake was pretty standard but the sauce with it was good. I couldn't pinpoint what the sauce was though. And I also had the steamed pork dumplings. Not too bad. Overall, this is probably one of the better Chinese places in the area. I will probably visit once more before I leave for home next week.
I've seen the restaurant many times but never stopped in until today and I tell you, I'm kicking myself for not stopping sooner! First of all you know a place is good when you stop by at 1pm and it's still almost full, plus there were several delivery orders while I waited for my food, they're obviously doing a good deal of business and I can see why. I walked in, asked to place a go-order and the two ladies who helped me were very attentive and nice. I was given a menu, decided on Tonkatsu Ramen with pork, the steamed pork bao and shrimp fried rice (you may laugh but this is my go-to to tell if a restaurant is good, it's harder to make delicious fried rice than you think!). I paid (around $38 total) and was told my wait would only be about 10 minutes. Watching the two ladies work, they were extremely good at their job, they checked on tables, refilled drinks, cleaned and put away clean dishes all quickly and unobtrusively. At this restaurant the kitchen area is small, and to my delight open to the dining area, only separated with a counter. Watching the chefs prepare dishes was like watching a choreographed dance, it was obvious they know what they're doing, and that expertise shows in their food, and then some! I drove back to my residence, about 20 minutes and in that time everything was still hot and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I never expected to get ramen this good in Midland Texas! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork was sliced thinly, was a good mix of fat and lean and tasted amazing, the broth (of which there was enough for 2 bowls!) was rich, flavorful, perfectly seasoned and had the most wonderful mouth feel! Even the boiled egg was perfectly cooked with a firm but still creamy yolk. The steamed BAO were also perfectly cooked and filled with well seasoned, delicious pork. Lastly the shrimp fried rice which was completely packed in the to-go container, easily making enough for two meals, was absolutely perfect! The rice was tender but had the slightly crispy edges that you should get from the "wok hei", the shrimp were large and flavorful and the veggies in it were cooked well and small enough to add to the flavor without being intrusive and the green onions on top were a nice touch as well. My meal came with ample condiments, utensils and a very nice pair of wooden chopsticks that I didn't have to break apart and then go about removing splinters from. Noodle House is definitely a gem and would be great in any large city, in little ole Midland Texas, they're PHENOMENAL, I wish I could give 10 stars!!
I’ve been wanting to come here for a while. It is truly authentic food and incredible. I watched the chefs cook for about an hour and they are extremely skilled. The ladies taking care of the front of the restaurant are incredible and fast. I think everyone should come here and have an Authentic Bao and or dumpling… you will walk away impressed.
This is the best authentic Chinese food i have had since i went to china. EXCELLENT!!! Recommend spicy cucumber appetizer. Boiled pork dumpling and onion pancake were excellent too. Returned two months later when back in town. Had spicy wontons and coworker had sliced noodle soup. excellent again.
The food is amazing really. The noodles are hand made there, we got the steam dumplings, amazing choice by the way for an appetizer. For the dish I got T ramen and the spicy one as well. The flavors are actually very good and the broth is great. I came to visit my sister and I'm so glad I came to try this noodle house. I didn't take a picture of the dumplings because we ate them so fast haha definitely recommend!
Appetizer was decent but these are some of the worst noodles I've ever had. Shrimp tasted like rubber and wasn't even warm. I know there aren't many options out here but I would recommend trying something else.
I ordered the tonkotsu and black garlic ramen, and it was disappointing compared to other ramen spots. The broths lacked richness, and the eggs were served fully boiled instead of halved and jammy. If you’re looking for authentic ramen, this isn’t the place.
I’m flew in from Houston to Midland on a work project for a week. Yesterday some of the people on the project started feeling under the weather (sneezing, stuffy, runny noses, coughing). We all believe it is from the dust and dirt from the move project. I wanted some comfort food and some recommended Tokyo1. I found the Noodle House on Andrews Highway and decided to dine there because it’s a small business and it is always a pleasure to dine in small establishments as you find many jewels that way. I should have realized as soon as I walked in the door things were not going to go very well. Once seated I was asked what I’d like to drink. I asked if they had hot tea for my throat. The waitress abruptly said, “NO! THESE ARE THE DEINKS WE HAVE!” She slammed a menu on the table before me and pointed at the soft drinks. I passed on the soft drinks and asked for water no ice. The waitress brought me a blue cup with water and there were bubbles on top of the water. I was not sure if the cup was not completely rinsed of soap or what the problem was. After a bit, the bubbles subsided and there was this white sediment or film in the top of the water. Needless to say, I did not drink the water. The waitress immediately asked for my order. I ordered the chicken Tonkotsu ramen. As I ate and patrons left, they were all greeted as they left with a Goodbye or Bye. I asked for a to go container for the noodles I did not finish. The waitress gave me a bowl to go, no bag, no to go utensils. I signed my check and started toward the door. I did not get a Bye or Good Bye greeting as I left as the other patrons. Made me feel good that I did not leave a tip at all. The food was mediocre … I’ve had better in smaller cities like Conroe, TX. I will never everrrrrr recommend this establishment to anyone. If you’re looking for good food and hospitality…THE NOODLE HOUSE ON ANDREWS HIGHWAY IN MIDLAND, TX IS NOT THE ESTABLISHMENT! As I write this review, I must also say that I noticed I was the only person of color in the establishment at the time. Maybe “My Kind” are not welcomed in that particular location, who knows, but what I do know is I will NEVER EVERRRRR spend my money at ANY NOODLE HOUSE and I do not care where it is located! WORST SERVICE EVERRRRRRR!!! Two thumbs down 👎🏽👎🏽
