Mandro Teahouse is popular for its large, delicious bingsoo, especially the mango flavor. Customers praise the fresh fruit and creamy, smooth shaved ice. The small space and potential wait times are drawbacks.

The outside looks a little dingy and the ambiance is not great. BUT, their strawberry bingsoo was legit - took my pants by surprise. It is a little pricey though but pretty worth it imo. They could do a little better on the packaging tho.
Bingsoo is very good. I prefer the mango because the matcha one doesn't have enough red bean layer, which make is lack in flavor.
Best Okinawa milk tea in the area, and they give pudding instead of boba w it. good dessert too but it can be a bit too sweet
Very delicious! Love the bubble tea and shaved ice!!! Great for friend gathering!
Mango sago is to truly amazing!! Small place and sometimes long wait line during evenings. Staff are very good is working on orders fast with quality. The ordering system is pretty neat. Highly recommended.
Mango sago tasted actually like mango. We ask d them put some extra ice pack so bansingoo doesn’t melt while we go home and they did which was nice.
Great place! Small and cozy, not a great place for big groups but nice small local shop. Drinks are quite sweet, according to some people I've taken there. I have a huge sweet tooth so I love it. Having tried the bingsoo but it always looks great! Since they're kind of popular, they regularly run out of regular boba no matter how much they prep, but the white boba is usually in stock and just as great. Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely no complaints. Love this place!
The texture of the shaved ice in the bingsoo is on point. It's finely shaved, and feels soft on the tongue - almost as if it instantly melts on contact. Yet it doesn't melt in the bowl. Add to that the fact that they layer in flavoring within the mound of ice AND also give you a little sauce on the side to meter out as you need, and you know that whoever makes this really understands how to optimize the bingsoo eating experience. A solid 5 in my book. This is the eating experience you expect from a good bingsoo. Side note, a small is good for 2 people to share.
My friends and I were at Great Mall and we decided to stop by a dessert place and came across MandRo Teahouse! We weren't in the mood for any drinks but we got bingsoo. We weren't sure which to choose and luckily, there 2 seasonal bingsoo (strawberry and mango) were available. We chose the regular strawberry bingsoo in the end. With the strawberries came with condensed milk which you pour over the shaved ice. We all took a bite and the ice literally melts in your mouth. It was so smooth, mouth watering and delicious to the point I couldn't stop taking more bites! It wasn't too sweet. Inexpensive! And it was perfect to share with 2 other friends! What can get any better? I highly recommend their yummy strawberry bingsoo. You won't regret it :)
Both the Strawberry Bingsu and the Mango Bingsu are the best you can get anywhere. SO delicious. Really hits that sweet creamy icy and fruity dessert craving🍨.
I came to this tea house in the evening, I had their jasmine green tea (milk) and it was good. My experience here was great. The place is well in kept and clean. The space is small but there's an outside sitting area which I enjoyed. I will definitely come back to try their dessert selection.
Love coming here on a hot day and ordering bingsoo. they're to go currently bc of the pandemic, but will fill your bag with ice to keep your dessert cold. Check their Instagram for occasional discounts!
It's a very small place with indoor and outdoor seating offering drinks and desserts. I ordered some bingsoo and Taiwanese taro jellies. The desserts were VERY GOOD and huge! The shaved ice is flavored and the toppings were perfect! Would definitely recommend and I will return!
Their shave ice is truly the best! They look like shredded coconuts but they are actually ice. It melts in your mouth but not freezes your brain to death. The mango one is very refreshing and really hits the spot.
Great place to get some good shaved ice. My favorite is always the mango and they’re generous with their portions here. The fruit is fresh and perfect during hot summer days. We’ve also had their milk teas which are decent too. It is a small space, so you’ll sometimes have to wait for seating or squeeze into a small table if it gets busy. There is some outdoor seating as well, but still limited. Otherwise, highly recommend this place if you’re craving shaved ice.
It was awesome experience when trying eating a shaved ice called Malcha bingsu. Even though there is no rice cake on top of red bean due to sold out, this bing-su deserves to get 5 stars rating since the quality of shaved milk ice has been the best ever among the shaved ice I've tried. I hope to try others such as Mango and in-jul-mi bing-su shortly if I have chance to stop by Milpitas.
We are now obsessed with their Mango Sago drink. It has this perfect creamy texture with well cooked sago. The drink also has real mango chunks making it super delicious! Can’t wait to go back for the Mango Sago drink and also try other things on their menu.
Really big portions and very tasty! Fruits used for bingsoo were fresh and ice teas were good!
Great strawberry bingsoo! The shaved ice is very tasty. They provided ice for the take out order.
The Mango Bingsu here is pretty good. It is creamy and smooth and it is definitely better than the one in MeetFresh
We got the chocolate flavor, mango, and strawberry and they were all deeeelicious!!! This is something I never tried before and it was so unique and refreshing that I loved it. Shaved ice with your choice of toppings on top. Absolutely amazing!!!
Pretty straight forward. Kiosk. Order. Pickup. Drink. Met a wedding client there outside at the tables - but it was clients who chose spot. It would not be my first choice to meet people, but for what it is it does what it does. 70% sweet for my taro Oreo.
The most delicious shaved ice ever. Mango was all our favorite!
Not the prettiest place for drinks or shaved ice desserts but probably the best deals around. Highly recommend must try.
What a pleasant surprise! I thought I needed to go to LA to have good bingsoo. MandRo Teahouse has awesome bingsoo that's comparable to some of the good bingsoo places in LA. In fact I might argue that this place ranks near the top in terms of taste and quality of shaved ice. I'm so glad that I found this place. I'll be coming back here a lot :)
A popular dessert shop located in Milpitas. The bingsoo is so big that it is usually shared with two friends ☺️, even for the regular one.

I used to have to go union city for a taste of mocha iceshave. Now its opening at Milpitas! The only down side is the shop is too small. The owner should get a bigger place.
It's a small boba joint. Really cute outside, especially at night with the lights are lit. Inside is really small though; there are seatings outside if you prefer. Service was fast and basic (nothing wrong, just all that needed). In terms of quality to price, this is probably one of the best around. A bunch of teas and milk teas start at just $3-$3.5 with pretty good quality teas. The pearls are lightly sweetened which is delicious. Sometimes they are slightly small (I dislike small pearls), but they expand after sitting for 8-10 mins. The drinks I've tried were not very sweet (except the Hawaii fruit tea). So if you are used to getting 25%-30% at other places like I do, you may want to stick around 50%-80% sweetness. My 30% was barely sweet. (The pearls helped though.) I prefer their teas over their milkteas; the latter taste like they use powder milk instead of fresh milk. Overall I like their tea drinks with pearls and will definitely continue to come back.
I got a peach green tea with 30% sweet. It was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. I got there right when it opened so no boba was made yet. The girls working are friendly and quick. I would go back for the same drink and perhaps try a few others.
I've been coming here for a while... I should have written this review much earlier...oh well, here it is now. This was my favorite place to come get Bingsoo before Sulbing in Santa Clara opened. While the Bingsoo is still Brilliant the main deterrent is the tiny venue with not a lot of seating. On a hot summer day it's fairly arduous to get a seat. The biggest challenge is coming in big groups. Good luck if you have more than 4 people, especially when its busy. There is plenty of parking available in the plaza, not a whole lot going on there... The Bingsoo here is basically perfect. Ice Cold, so soft and supple...like snow. It's brilliant! Not too sweet, you are provided with condensed milk on the side, so you can add as much as you want or not. The Mochi is perfect, chewy and slightly sweet without being too tough, just the way it should be. I tried most of the flavors, but my go to are the Mango & Matcha... #Sugar: ~ Matcha Red Bean Bingsoo - 5/5 ~ Mango Bingsoo [R] (Seasonal) - 5/5 ~ Injoelmi Bingsoo - 5/5 ~ Hawaii Fruit Tea - 4/5 ~ Mango Matcha Latte - 4/5
I think if we combine cotton candy with snow, it will taste like this shaved ice but less sweet and more creamy. The green tea flavor combine with red bean garnished with condensed milk and almond is a flavor bomb.
A little tea shop located in an expansive parking lot between furniture stores and Royal Palace Indian Restaurant. Uses syrups for flavoring, jams for strawberry matcha tea, house-made grass jelly. Streamlined menu of the most popular teas (no Earl Grey, no popping boba, no rainbow jelly) and shaved ice of tempting flavors and add on-s; mango, Thai tea, dragon fruit, red bean, barley, grapefruit, basil seed, seasonal fruits etc. Busy place with seating indoors and outdoors.

The dessert is amazing, however the smells make the experience not enjoyable. This is the part of Milpitas that smells like Booty, so you can’t sit outside and eat. Moreover, the past 2 times I’ve been here, inside it smells strongly of cleaning agent or just has a weird unappetizing smell in there. On top of that Bingsoo melts super quick so you can’t take it to-go either. Plz fix this issue guys I love your food😭
A tiny dessert store serving Korean style shaved ice. We were looking for a place to hangout after dinner, my friend brought us to MandRo for dessert and chill but they have limited indoor seats and are really not suitable for hanging out under the small amount of tables.
This place is a bit small with limited seating. The deserts aren't anything to write home about but average. The shaved ice is a bit pricey for shaved ice with choices of toppings that are not the price you'd expect for the amount you're paying for. But I guess you're not paying for the food but the memories you shared with a friend or family that counts.
This review is solely based on the mango bingsoo - we have yet to try their drinks. The location is oddly located a bit behind Chili's, but parking is fairly plentiful. There are 6 small cramped tables inside with a few more tables outside. The general decor and tidiness could use some improvement. The mango bingsoo is average in taste, and underwhelming in appearance. The mango slices are very thin and are coated in a heavy sweet syrup. Considering they provide a small container of condensed milk to pour over it, I would have preferred chunks of sweet mango sans syrup. I'm not certain I would return to try their other menu items.

Arrived at 6:30 PM Thursday, it already closed, although the sign on the door says the business hours is 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM for Thursday.
The Bingsoo is really gross, tastes like cheap SWEET syrup. Got strawberry and it was not good, even sweeter than American ice cream.
Quite run down place. Food was meh. We ordered chocolate bingsu and this isn't anything close to Korean bingsoo. They gave a side of condensed milk but it was very watered down. The tray was wet and smelled.
Drinks are not good here, shave ice is ok but not as good as That one in Newark.the store is not as clean as Newark, very tiny place and very slow. Will probably not come back
Taste was good but the wait took FOREVER! I ordered a mango bingsoo and waited for 24 minutes. There’s 3 staff in the back and customers order from a machine. I don’t get why it’s taking them so long.

We called 10 minutes ahead of time to make sure we wouldn't have to wait for long....we were wrong. When we got there the cashier seemed lost about the order we had put through the phone and said that the wait would be only 10 to 15 minutes long. About 50 minutes later I had enough of waiting and went up to the counter only to find out that our order was sitting behind it, for I don't know how long. Was pretty disappointed and I usually have a lot of patience with places but this one just missed the mark.
Reached 20 minutes before the closing time, still denied service. The guy at counter even went inside to confirm with manager and came out with the same answer. They definitely lied to our face because customers were still sitting there. Business seemed open as usual as there was no closed sign. Since we were to drive from far we even called them and confirmed beforehand. Disappointed.
If there is a 0 star I will rate for this place. Dessert is good. However, the service is so terrible especially during this covid time. All the server didn't wear mask and smoke vape inside the store. When we ask if is there any outdoor seating, they just said yes and did nothing else but let you take table and chair by yourself outside. Waste of the tip for them.
Had the chocolate shaved ice with Oreo crumbs on top, and it was tasteless. I do not recommend this flavor.
