Went to the drive-thru for a fan fav. box, a bacon ultimate cheese meal and a shake (must have) and the gentleman and lady were super nice, and attentive agreat on time too! (date was sept 19th in the eve) give the team a promotion! they were awesome!

Conveniently located restaurant in Monterey. It offers a good variety of burgers and in addition to tacos and salads at a bargain price. Quiet atmosphere and friendly service. Wait time was less than a minute on Sunday afternoon.

I used to think Jack in the Box was just cheap fast food, but I was wrong. They have so many quality offerings with much variety. And their breakfast in particular was really good quality compared to most chains. Drive thru staff were also very friendly, great all around

This Jack in the Box is an oasis in the food desert that is lower Munras avenue. Who has time for delicious meals cooked from scratch at way better eateries like The Wild Plum, Krua Thai or even The Great Wall? I know I don't. Just this week I grabbed two tacos for the wifey, a spicy Jack wrap for yours truly, hamburgers for the kids and a large curly fries for the whole family in less time than it took to write this review. I don't get high anymore but if I did I'd hit that l8 night stoner menu fo sho.

I love this location. Their breakfast burritos are terrific. I do; however, get them with just cheese and egg. My dad thinks they are the only place in town that can make a shake and I’d have to agree. Give it a try!

Two tacos. I was only walk in customer for 20 minutes and took that long. Approximately 8 people working in the tiny space, law of diminishing returns of labor definitely applied. Watched a management member, no name tags pull frys from a customers bagged up order and eat a few at the counter. Another management member gave a free xlarge drink to her friend on the house. Person was wearing a white tee-shirt, possibly an employee? 2:40pm ish on Saturday, 9-9-2023. But as always, great tacos.

I honestly haven’t eaten at Jack in the Box in YEARS!!! To my surprise the burger 🍔 was simply delicious for being fast food. Both the French fry’s and curly fries were hot and crispy. There was a small wait but it wasn’t very long. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

The food was great, definitely recommend to everyone to try this out! I've heard bad stories about the food but none of it is true, this is a great place and am definitely coming here again. Although me and the kids were missing the music in this location

My favorite fast food! If youre new to the west coast it's a must try. Loads better than the all-to-exaggerated in an out. They have good late Night deals, crisp vegetables, and 24 hours

They have a wide variety of foods on their menu and breakfast foods are especially delicious! (all meat burrito!) And desserts look good but haven't tried them yet, since I tend fill up on std food!

Food was great as always, would've preferred to be able to run separate transactions at drive thru, otherwise I was satisfied.

I don't eat fast food often so I was happy that the store was staffed and the take out prepared quickly. The staff was super nice and genuine.

Took a chance on ordering some dessert to go w/our pizza. Ended up choosing the chocolate cake. It has a little bit of fudge frosting on it but nothing to heavy. Brought it home, heated them up for about 10 sec in microwave, added some ice cream from the freezer & BAMMMM... 😋so good. Best $2.99 spent. Now I know where to get those late night chocolate cravings 🥮🧁

Came and ordered some ground beef tacos for the "tradition". They were decent tacos considering you get them in 5 minutes. Any chicken sandwich is definitely a good choice. I can't really vouch for any of the other menu items but the service is fast and pretty good. Guy who took our order was also cute and had a cute accent. You might want to order an extra item in case the hobo is posted out there asking for food. Nice guy who will also appreciate a beer.

Always sure to get newly made hot food. Management is great, staff is fairly knowledgeable. They are very accommodating to specializing orders and I'd say 9 out of 10 times they get my order perfect. I have to be honest and say, I can be a difficult customer with semi complicated orders, so I really would not fault them. I absolutely love that they are also open 24 hours via drive thru.

food here is it's always good, as far as fast food goes. Open 24 hours ,everything is always Hot 🔥. To me that's important When your dealing with fast food .Noone wants fast food that's even been sitting 5 minutes! So it's nice getting hot just cooked food , and the staff is always nice. Super great when it's late .

Always check your bag to make sure they didn't miss anything! They love to leave out two tacos. But overall it's not a terrible Jack In The Box and the lines are never too bad.

Like so many businesses today, when my wife and I visited this location at the end of March 2023 for breakfast while passing through the area. They had to close the doors to walk in customers because they lacked staffing. We were the last walk ins before the locked up and we're only allowing drive through at about 8 am. Even with that and a bit of a delay getting our food, the product was consistent and good. The service was as good as one could expect in those circumstances.

About as good as a Jack-in-the-Box gets. I HAVE only been there twice so far, but the workers each time have been very pleasant and they pay attention to your order. I haven't been inside the facility, and once the drive-thru took a bit long (think I sat for 15+ minutes), but it's good!

Very consistent imo. Tacos, Chicken Teriyaki Bowls and Burgers taste very similar to the way they did 35 years ago. “Whenever I’m staying in town I typically drive-thru for late night tacos”

The employees here r not very friendly, they got our order wrong, it was the most simple order and still did not get it right.

Took 45 minutes in the drive-through to get ojr order taken and prepared before we got food. The food was mediocre for us, but we are used to that at this location... but the wait this time was unusual and disappointing

Food is serviceable and tastes just like any other Jack in the Box. Location is clearly showing signs of age with the drive through speaker and menu falling apart and the inside looking pretty in need of a remodel.

We were there late at night and it was crowded so I can understand that it must be a hard time to work. And we are probably laughing a little too hard and having a little too much fun so the employee had a little bit of an attitude. The food was good everything else was on point so I'm sure next time will be a better experience for all of us. Don't sweat the small stuff and it's all the big stuff.

There were only two people running the entire restaurant. Waited about 30 mins for the "fast food" but the taste was very decent for the price. I guess it was worth the wait.

I went to the jack in the box a couple of nights ago because I had a taste for some egg rolls and they were cooked well done but the inside of them were cold so I took them back to get some more and they were cooked the same way because even though they were done on the outside I shouldn't be able to break them in half and stick my finger down the middle and I told the cashier that and his reply was is that we have a timer set for them and it must be our timer so I asked for my money back. Cause instead of trying to fix the problem they served us cold food.

The most disappointing thing ever was opening my cluck sandwich bag and seeing a cheeseburger staring up at me. No tacos, no chicken sandwich. :( It wasn't a bad burger though. And the fries were good. Not mad, just dissapointed.

The sandwich was greasy it was the buttery Jack, the restaurant needed cleaning. I like the delivery of the meal it was brought to us on a tray and the sandwiches was half wrapped so I can see the burger that was great because my sandwich wasn't smashed from being wrapped; the fries were hot!

I wanted to try this chain and the menu certainly impressed with lots of variety but the wait time was lengthy for fast food. The beef burger was ok the fries were better not something I’d rush to eat again

The guy at the drive thru window was rude.. didn't get our order right and his attitude didn't help. The food was good and hot.

Very upset because my order was missing items that I paid for... Taco add tomatoes and fanta orange soda tasted flat and watery. I had jury duty and wanted to grab something quick.....unfortunately, I made a bad choice.

Jack in the box now sells the impossible burger! It doesnt come vegan though!!! Make sure to order it without the cheese, mayo and thousand island sauce. I had a good impression the first time. Second time around was not that great. The patty is too soft and I'm not a fan of the thick cut white onions. It would be so much better if the onions were thinly sliced red onions or caramelized white but the white onion overpowers the entire burger.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this location. The food was cold and not good. They forgot part of my order. When we asked for condiments, we were told they had no salsa for the burrito and offered ketchup. No straws, no napkins.

The lady who was helping me had a bad attitude, almost as if I didn't deserve her time. I do understand that they can get busy with the drive through, but her attitude just wasn't very pleasant. The floor was sticky and I could feel my shoes slightly sticking to the floor as a walked around.

Ordered delivery through GrubHub. When I received my order, one taco item was not included in the bag. Staff packing the order should pay attention to the details.

Selected pick up in store using the app. When I arrived, doors were locked, drive through was only option, so food sat a long time getting soggy while waiting hehind people getting freshly made food. I was stupid to pre-order using app. This is a industry-wide fast food problem.

We ordered 3 sandwiches, forgot to checked before leaving the window, when we got home we only received 2 sandwiches we were only charged for 2 and not 3, however that was not the point, we didn't get what was ordered! Girl had major attitude on the speaker and wasn't any better when we reached the window. She forgot 2 things in our bag and when I looked up to ask for them she was already scowling at me and said "what" extremely rudely! If the 2 items weren't for my kids i would have just left. If you work in the fast food industry you need to be a people person.

Visiting Monterey and had higher expectations....... Arrived in the drive thru around 7pm. Was asked to wait 5min. 5min! Decided to go into the restaurant. (Who knows maybe they're really busy?) There was 1 family of 4 in front of us who already ordered and was waiting for their food. Female who I assumed was the manager (Cant believe it was but she wore a tshirt not a uniform) got loud as soon as she and I made eye contact. She was in the back of the store by the cook joking loudly and yelling about cup lids and yelled at a cashier to "Put your money away ( that I assume she left on the counter because who else has access to the register money?)before someone steals your money because it's yours." I didn't notice the money till but did see a young man getting ready to sign on for his shift and he grabbed the money and put it away. ANYONE could have grabbed it. She was VERY unprofessional! Really got a good look at the place and saw how filthy it was. Left immediately! Gave it 1 star because drive thru guy seemed to be doing all the work. Do not recommend at all!

Says they open at 6, sat in drive thru until 6:10 with no response and had to leave so I wasn't late for work. as I'm leaving see someone running across the street to come to work. Very unprofessional. Now I don't get breakfast because someone was tardy. Edit** tried again this morning 3/9 and sat in the driveway for another 10 mins at 6:30 ish. As I'm driving out the employees are walking in. Either update your opening time, or you really need to get some better reliable help. Extremely unprofessional. And they wonder why everyone talks smack about fast food workers.

Horrible customer service!!!, me and my family stopped in just now and purchased food there was a small tear on the bill, they would not except the bill and when we asked them why they really didn’t have a reason, we asked if they could put tape on it and except it as any other restaurant would except it was it ripped just have a small tear, The drive-through window girl walked away and had while she has aNother younger male come give us our money back and tell us it would except it!!! He then acted very smug and rude and told us that we couldn’t have the food and laughed, me and my wife own a corporation so we understand about customer service these guys are definitely lacking training!!!

Awefull! I ordered 2 tacos, the only car in the drive through, less than a minute later I got to the window and the tacos were already in the bag. I checked them and there was hardly any warmth to them. The guy at the window told me they just made them. I asked for hot tacos and he took the bag back. After maybe 5 minutes he returned and gave me the same exact bag from before and the tacos were even colder. I live less than a mile a away and typically go there 2 to 3 times a week. This honestly has to be the worst fastfood experience ive ever had! Went through the drive thru with two cars ahead of us thinking it would go pretty quick HA.... Each car had to sit and wait to order for at least 10 minutes, I guess while they made the food for the previous person. I ate there last night and ordered a chicken sandwich. I have been up all night with food poisoning-the sickest I’ve ever been. I tried to call this morning to report it and the line has been busy for the last few hours. Probably many other people calling who got sick from their food. Do not eat here! Service is always bad as well. The manager is an older white woman who acts as if are bothering her and always messes up your order. I’d rather drive across town for better quality food or make it at home myself to ensure that it safe.

The customer service is very unprofessional, the person (Jose) is very rude and not there for customers with patience, upon letting him know that he was not using professional customer services communication skills, he said this is how it’s sounds to everyone, he didn’t apologize he said shut the windows. That is why I was wondering why Jack in the box is always empty nowadays days , it’s not good the customer service is worst .

Coming to this store multiple times, I can that it is I'll advised to come during open lobby hours, especially at night. During my past visits, drive-thru has been a little slow but pretty accurate with the orders, with one exception, which was promptly corrected. My past experience is a pure vice to the store. I rolled through at 11:00pm, and was asked to wait. This is typical during what would be called the "drunk rush" (in fast food, this is the time between 11pm and 2 am). What wasn't typical was the 5+ minutes i ended up waiting to order. After a few, "Hello?"s and absolutely no response, I went in to hopefully get an order in. It took an extra 3 minutes on top of the 5-ish I already waited to get my simple shake and a drink order in. It took another 4 minutes to receive the shake. In the duration of standing inside the store several things were witnessed or done: 1) The order taker had removed his headset and asked absolutely nobody to take over the drive-thru. 2) The lobby machine was out of ice, and you could hardly get anyone to get ice for you from the back. 3) Multiple customers drove off due to lack of service in the drive-thru. 4) I had enough time to write this review in the time it took me to receive the only item I ordered other than a drink. At the rate this store is going, I'm hesitant about returning. EDIT: Tried to come tonight, May 20. When we first arrived, we were asked to wait 20 minutes, as the gentleman on the speaker supposedly was on a break. After waiting 30 minutes, we tried various methods (calling out, honking, etc) to get their attention, we pulled up to find the drive-thru window cracked open. After more honking, calling, and finally pushing the window slight open, we are rudely greeted with a manager. He refused to listen, despite our concern that the place might have been robbed, and eventually refused us service (this is 40 MINUTES after arriving at the store). To say the least, we've decided that the Jack in the Box in Seaside is better, despite the distance.

The lady who took our order was extremely rude and disrespectful. Order took for ever. There was a guy who pulled behind us and they left because everyone ignored him. Then my breakfast wasn’t even what I ordered. And she charged me for the more expensive item! When my husband asked for a fork so he could eat she basically started cussing us out in a different language. With the amount of complaints this place has the manage/owner should either retrain or hire new.

Very disappointed at this establishment once again. My husband and I decided to stop by here on our way home for something quick and lite. Unfortunately, the service seemed to take forever. The young man seemed to be in his first night here and needed to be trained on the credit card machine. We asked if he could do a partial cash, partial credit card and his response, "I cant do that without my manager here." Okay so thankfully we mustered up the cash we had and we still got the incorrect change. The total was $16.80 to which my husband gave him a total of $20.80 only to receive $3.00 back in change. Upon looking at receipt only $20.00 was entered which would of been $3.20 in change so either way it was the wrong amount both times. We got back home and the food was cold and flavorless and the fries looked like they were the very bottom of the bin, before its to be changed with the fresh ones. It will be a long while until we go back here again.

Pulled up at 9:30pm, walked in and was told the dining room was closed. Ok, no big deal, I'll use the drive-thru. Go back through, wait at the menu for probably 10 minutes, no answer, when I literally just talked to the guy inside at the counter. He finally gets on mic just to tell me that they're only doing Door Dash and Uber Eats orders??? Like, why can I not get it at the store? I want to Jack-in-the-Box excited to order some food as I am in the process of moving from Florida (where they don’t have it) and haven’t had it in a long time. So I go to the drive-through, and I pull up to the box to order and I don’t hear anything. I sit there for a five minutes waiting to order. So I proceed to the window and let them know that they’ve missed my order and I would like to order from the window. The person taking my order at the window tells me I need to drive around the drive thru and order again. I say I’ve waited there for five minutes, were you not aware that I was there? The drive thru worker states I have to drive around. I tell them I know that you’re able to take my order at the window, he told me that the manager said that I need to drive around. Now let me Tell you the manager was right behind him and refused to speak to me. At that point I just tried to drive off. It wasn’t hard for you to take my order at the window and he would’ve kept a loyal customer. Will never go to that Jack in the box again

I placed an app order and showed up 10 mins later to pick up my order. I was told there was only 1 person working, and the manager was not there. I waited another 15 minutes to get my order I pre-paid for in the app after making an issue that I had paid for my food and I wasn't leaving without my food.

I have been coming to this jack in the box for a long time but lately they have been slacking off they don’t have anything that is on the menu and forget my order, I asked for soda and don’t even give me my drink before I can say anything they slam the slider on me. NEVER COME HERE

Do not eat here, my fiance and I came in and there was a transient/homeless man inside and touching everything. Then that same man went outside and was begging for money to everyone at the drive through and as people exited. The food tasted alright, but 3 hours later I had severe stomach cramps and aches, and had to urgently use the restroom. My fiance had the same experience after me. Don't eat here unless you want to get food poisoning.

I ordered less than 3 meals and paid over $50, the least they could do was give me the correct food. They shorted us sides, ignored allergy requests for no dairy, and gave old fires and chicken that are hard and cold. I called several times to get help and give them a chance to fix this, but no answer. This place is not well managed and you should not waist your money here. I will not be coming back and recommend everyone go to a different location. I am usually a very respectable person, but this is not right, we pay our hard earned money for this, and are disrespected, places like this do not deserve customer loyalty.

No sense of urgency. With 4-5 people “working” they are dragging their feet and orders take super long to come out. They have no idea what they are doing all of the food comes out cold. When fries were done they were just sitting on the counter getting cold. No manager around to give them any direction. All of the food came out sloppy and terrible . I ordered a jack spicy chicken with grilled onions and 2 tacos but I didn’t get the grilled onions on the burger and the tacos are served sloppy. Proceeds to not follow the order 2 nights in a row

I’m not the type of person to leave a bad reviews but MAN. This is the 2nd time I’ve tried this jack in the box and both times I waited 30+ mins for my food when there was only 1-2 other customers there and both times my burger was not seasoned. The first time I went I spent 45 mins waiting because they gave me the wrong order TWICE (keep in mind the drive through was NOT busy) I’m sure there’s a reason, maybe they’re understaffed or are getting a lot of online orders but MAN this sucked.

The employees do not even acknowledge their customer waiting in line they can't say we'll be right with you or backed up or anything at all whatsoever. And they really hand your food to you almost throwing it across the counter. No thank you no come again nothing at all worst customer service ever and the restaurant's not that clean either. Food not halfway decent for the price.
