I’m happy we found this place for dinner and left satisfied with the great food, ambience, and service. There was a short wait before being seated but the host was attentive and checked in with us to let us know we’d be seated soon. Our server was great and very attentive. The food was served promptly and it was delicious! They have beer on draft, fun cocktails, and a great view of the bay! We’ll be returning on future visits to this area.

This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly and kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and creative would highly recommend the garlic edamame. The salad, the rolls anything you get on there? You're not gonna go wrong and the view in the atmosphere was just amazing.

This is my second time here, I like the seafood seaweed rice, the squid is great! The price is not cheap though, 100 dollars for two people, but the location is great, you can sit by the window and see the port and the sea.

Pay for outdoor parking, walk up the stairs. Two dining areas, we went to the hibachi area so they cook in front of you. Staff were friendly and good with the kids. I know it says count includes children but it should be optional because both kids did not eat. It is a 18% charge for parties more than 5. Menu online is cheaper so should be updated. Other than that, the food was good. The chef was entertaining.

Ah, the Force was strong with this dining experience! A feast most satisfying, it was. The Monterey Roll—spicy crab crowned with seared filet mignon, kissed by the fire and draped in a cloak of spicy mayo—stood as the true champion of the night. Its balance of heat and umami was nothing short of masterful. To any who seek a roll both bold and refined, I say this: let the Monterey be your guide. For my main course, the Chicken Katsu I chose. Crisp, golden, and hearty it was, accompanied by a gathering of white rice, miso soup, and fresh vegetables. A fine dish indeed, yet when my gaze fell upon the Bento Box at a nearby table, a disturbance in my decision I sensed. Next time, a wiser choice I shall make. Service—attentive and warm—flowed with the grace of a Jedi in harmony with the Force, elevating the meal to a true delight. With a view of the harbor stretching before me, the atmosphere was as serene as a meditation chamber. Already, my return I anticipate.

This was a really wonderful restaurant. The service coming in was top notch. Super friendly and fast service. I initially was excited for miso soup and the waiter notice and got me clear soup instead! The building itself is a super pretty. Great views of the wharf. The building is separated with normal seating or the hibachi side. I was still able to order the hibachi on the normal dinning side. The chicken hibachi was good but did not like the sauce that came with. I think that would be worked on a bit. But overall a great restaurant. Pretty good price for hibachi too!

We sat in the regular dining area and enjoyed some great views of the harbor and awesome food. Everything was prepared + seasoned well and not one of our dishes was anything but good. Service was stellar, too. Wish we had a large enough group for hibachi, though. Sounded like a lot of fun on that side! Definitely happy we stopped in here ♨️

Very good Japanese steakhouse with an amazing menu of all types of different options. One of the best views of the Monterey Bay in the dinning room. We love this spot for lunch.

The sushi was Great. Wide menu and an excellent view. Attention was outstanding as well. I highly recommend the place!!

Enjoyed our visit overall but not sure I'd come back. Service was fast and helpful. Edamame was good. My teriyaki steak was delicious and other guest's sushi looked good. Salad was way over-dressed with vinegar though and hard to eat which was a downer. Prices reasonable.

Noisy restaurant but very lively! The sushi was very good but the portion was small for the high price. The service was ok didn't ask if we wanted refills on drinks and her energy wasnt great. I went here for my birthday expecting a better experience so I am a bit disappointed.

Sapporo vibe is of cafeteria. Very noisy inside due to bad acoustics. Prices are high but you do get good food and nice portions. Our service was good and attentive. But... atmosphere is not good. This place needs to use table cloths and cloth napkins. If they cover the tablecloths with white butcher paper and put out some crayons for kids they do have to change the table cloth each time just the paper. What ever happened to using a table cloth ? When the cost of the meal is so high why not offer some small luxury to guest. And what's with the paper napkins? So cheap feeling. Place needs tablecloths and cloth napkins. Otherwise food is Good.

Sierra Fishing

We were sat at the sushi bar for dinner and told the regular server would take our order. It did not seem busy and we were ignored for 20 minutes. When we were able to order, I ordered the Da Kine Steak, my guest had the sushi sashimi combination but substituted the tuna roll for a sunset roll, which they said was okay. Her sushi was served within 5 minutes. Over 30 minutes after she was finished eating my steak arrived. I watched the server brining out several plates to another group at the bar and one of their plates was on top of mine. The potatoes were very hot and crispy, but the steak and vegetables must have been cooked before the potatoes were remembered, as they were cold. The steak was full if connective tissue and gristle. When I received the bill, they charged for the sushi sashimi combination, and also charged full price for the sunset roll without adjustment for the deleted tuna roll; a little disclosure would have been tasteful. 2 stars for the food because my guest liked the sushi, my meal was mostly inedible. 3 stars for the atmosphere, as that seemed nicer than the food, but we didn't see much of the restaurant or view. 1 star for service...
