I went to try the new Beyond Sausage Biscuit. And it was really really really really good. Very very tasty. I didn't want the folded egg and they were kind to switch it to a scrambled egg. The biscuit buttery scrumptious scrumptious scrumptious.!!!

Amazing service at the drive-thru, the employee Paul got my order right and was very nice.

The main thing I love about Carl's jr. is that they start serving breakfast at 6 am. I know not a lot of people are up and about at 6 a.m. but there are plenty, trust me. This location is down the street from a hospital and I know from working in that hospital that they never close so sometimes you may have to show up to work at 5 a.m. and if so and you need breakfast you can go right around the corner and grab it. Their coupons literally cut the price nearly in half this providing an incredible savings. I've tried the new Beyond Burger and it's out of this world. I love the fact that they have chicken fish beef and now veggie burger. I would probably only eat breakfast at Carl's Jr if I had my choice because they do have really super good breakfast and other really good food especially the chicken in my opinion.

Graciela at the register was top notch! She got my special order perfect. The restroom was clean and as soon as I sat down, my order was not far behind me. As I look around, everything is clean, straight and neat.

I found this Carl’s Jr to be pretty good. It’s in our neighborhood so once in a while I’ll stop by and order food here either drive thru or sit and eat. I almost always order their jalapeño burger with fries and a drink and it’s always been pretty good. As long as I’m enjoying their burger I’m going to keep going back and so far it’s been on the money. They also serve a vegan beyond burger. So there you have it. I must also say that the place looked clean and the employees were in a good mood. Overall, my experience has been good so I’ll recommend this place.

Overall good, but soda fountain isn't set up right, coke/dr pepper doesn't taste right on the inside. Drive thru tastes ok

I pre-ordered through Postmates and they didn't have my order ready I had to reorder when I got there. So that's why I subtract the star other than that it's just Carl's Junior they are open 24 hours which helps

I have been going to this location for almost twenty years of and on. The area is great and the parking is plentiful. The fried zucchini and their French fries are pretty good.

This Carl's is open 24 hours, and the dining room is open until midnight. So, a great place to go if you want a late night meal. The food is also well made.

If you don't try to make a costomized order and just go by menu they get it right, recently surprisingly I asked for some changes to their regular menu item, like add pickles and light sauce, and they hot it perfectly right. It has been a while since I have been struggling to convince my kids to not change anything on their order to avoid disappointment when we get home, and little success . But last time everything was just perfect. 😀

I ordered a 100% black Angus burger meal. Make sure to ask them to make it fresh or off the grill , otherwise they could give you a burger that's not hot. It was still warm when I got it home and I enjoyed it!

I wanted 2 chicken wraps but had no idea what flavors they had because there was nothing on their menu about chicken wraps. All they had was 1 poster in the window describing them. The cashier had to tell me what flavors they had. They were 2 for $6 and I ordered a Diablo and the Sant Fe and a medium fry. There was 1 other customer besides me in the restaurant. I watched as they were working on my order. The fries were done and put in their container and placed under the heat lamp. 3 minutes later my wraps were done. Before they put the order in my bag I asked them if they can re-fry my fries just so that my fries were hot. 3 minutes makes a huge difference when fries are just sitting there under the warmer. The cashier went a step better and made fresh batch of fries for me. Despite the slow service, the food was good.

As promised I did get a free bacon Western cheeseburger today but after downloading the app when I discovered it was necessary to get it, the poor lady taking orders tried to help my old self to enable it. We were unable to without My Google password. So she said she said since it's downloaded I will just give you one. So I felt so happy with her I made it a combo and paid a little over $5 for the burger fries and a medium drink. Ate and drank and felt very happy with her.

Just saw the commercial same day for the A1burger...for $3.99, and they say their not doing that promotional. My question is, why are so many people able to buy chains and not participate in a corporate promotional without penalty.Also, Montrose had one of their doors loocked, it's a fire hazard, not to have both entry doors unlocked, The Carl's Jr. Near me in Lincoln Heights participated, but at the same time decided that their promotional price was going to start at $4.99, not $3.99 like on the commercial, and the burger was way tinier than the commercial and they forgot the A1 sauce. I used to love Carl's Jr., But I won't go back again unless corporate or management starts regulating their standards. None of this has to do with COVID either. I gave Carl's Jr. a chance again after experiencing low standards at several stores this year, but they are still not up to par at most of the stores.

The sheer fact that they are open 24 hours grants 3 stars. I do find the hamburgers in particular consistent. If you like shakes these ones are very memorable and likely to give you a heart attack LOL. I find Carl's jr. Quite expensive and I can only imagine what it cost for a small family still give it a try if you haven't already.

The pricier burgers are okay, especially the Sourdough Glop Burger, which is actually pretty tasty. Fries lousy. Expensive relative to competitors. Kind of a pigsty. Men's restroom is an abomination.

Personally I think Carls Jr is one of the better fast food choices so I'm happy this one is here, especially considering there isn't another one anywhere close. This Carls is however becoming a little rundown as each year passes and could use a major overhall inside and out. Parking lot is easy to access and offers plenty of spots, there's an entrance on Verdugo Blvd and another entrance that can be accessed through the lot behind the shops on Honolulu. Staff is friendly but sometimes seem a little under trained and monotone.

Plenty of parking to go around. The drive thru is usually pretty quick, but the dining area is in need of cleaning most of the time. Not even talking about the lunch rush, even dirty when it's slow. Especially the soda machine area, big mess. The food is damn good though, then again I've always been a fan of Carl's Jr.

I loved this place, but they were not organized enough to have enough of their "Beyond Burgers" available to sell on this date, and as a result, I was unable to try this burger free with the email coupon I still have! On my next visit here, I am going to try to still have this offer fulfilled to my satisfaction, since the management of this restaurant failed me, and perhaps other customers, on this promotion!

This Carl's jr in particular was very empty , we stop after a movie, i order a simple sandwich, no fries or soda . I paid almost 10$, I thought it was expensive, not even a 6$ big burger. Same as my son and daughter. Over 30$ for 3 sandwich was a little too much. Because is a hole in the wall. Not a nice joint with nice surroundings.

When Carl's Jr first opened the burgers were very full and their motto was if it doesn't get all over the place it doesn't belong in your face. I'm sad to say that it is not the case anymore. Their burgers have greatly shrunk so much that the patties are not the same size as the buns anymore. And the onion rings are just tiny on my burger. By the way I ordered a Bacon Western cheeseburger. And the sauce was as if they were holding on to it cuz it's the very last bit. So I ended up with a dry western bacon cheeseburger that had the tiniest onion rings and more bread than meat. My meal cost $12. The burger alone was eight dollars. My thought on that is if you're paying that much for a burger it should look at least close to the picture. And I mean it's a fast food joint it shouldn't be a $12 meal I know they're making a lot of profit at the expense of their customers. And where that profit goes I can't tell you because the interior of the store is the same as it looked 5 years ago when I visited. I know covid's been tough on all businesses but... I miss the old Carl's Jr. They used to be all about the customer. Hope the best form don't think I'll be visiting anytime soon.

So I like Carl Jr’s. Really I do so why such a MID review? Well, this last time the burger wasn’t very good. Straight up Sub Par. It tasted like it had been sitting for quite a long while. I wished I passed on it. The fries seemed old as well. It would be easy to give top scores to the drive in experience but have you been to a CHICK-FIL-A drive through or a In N Out drive through? Totally different experience. So between the drive through, the quality of the food, the wait to fulfill my order (it was too long for stale food). In my personal opinion, I gotta say that for fast food Carl’s Jr isn’t low price. It’s a shame they charge premium prices for sub standard products.

Ordered two Jalapeño double cheese burgers and I received two dehydrated burgers with patties the size of a peperoni and very little jalapeños, etc., for $3.99 each plus tax. Buyer beware. Burgers are not what they use to be.

Over priced, this place charges more for their food and beverages compared to the other Carl's Jr locations. The service seems to be slow in the early mornings as well.

Two of us there at 8:30 this morning. No other customers while we were there to have our breakfast. Two out of three of the tables were dirty with food bits/crumbs on them. The bathroom was disgusting.

I absolutely love Carl's Jr. However my order was absolutely horrible and to me unedible. It wasn't what I ordered at all. I ordered a Famous Star. The lettuce was wilted it had a smashed,smooshed reminance of a tomato, so no tomatoes, no onions, no pickles, and old bread. I ordered and asked for fresh unwilted vegetables xtra onions fresh lettuce and tomatoes and I love pickles it had no pickles and the burger was cold the bun was old and crumbly it was the worst experience at Carl's Jr. I've ever had. Why is the quality of the food going down? I'm very disappointed after spending over $30 and I tried to call and complain but all of the numbers say the mailbox is full. @ the least I would like and i deserve a refund. "T"

Certain privately owned Carl's Jr. have some really good deal through coupons. But the food is over rated and getting less healthy ever year. I still eat there because I get them to make the burgers my way heavy everything and then they are not half bad.

I hadn't been to this one in 5 years and had forgotten how bad it was. Waited 20 minutes for a Santa fe sandwich combo. The party in front of me waited an extra 15. Food on many tables. Employees having a blast joking and singing. Homeless guy asleep in a corner booth.

A few of my friends and I just got back from a very long trip on 08/01/2019. We decided that we were going to finally hit the spot with some Carl's Jr. Turns out we were denied because we were on Motorcycles. Did not know Carl's Jr.'s drive through was discriminatory against motorcycle riders. We explained to the man at the drive thru, we had a car w us if they could take the order and hand our SUV driver the meals he rudely said "no we won't serve you". Very unfortunate that a food company discriminates against motorcycle enthusiasts.

2 lady workers were talking smack about each customer and were very unprofessional. Would not recommend this place.

I went to Carl's jr in Montrose California and the manager Gracella or Grace was rough and rude to customers. It was very unpleasant. She ordered someone out for taking too much ketchup for the food they bought.

They never have anything!! and the Edgar in the drive thru sounds like he would much rather be playing his Xbox at home. They need to hire better people and managers that know what to have on hand for the customers.

I came in the morning and the tea was old and very acidic. Tea must not be left out for days. It becomes a health hazard.

I just had Dinner with my wife tonight and had the worst experience. Around the soda machine was so dirty all wet both soda machines were out of coke. ketchup machine looks all broken floors behind counter and dinning area look like haven't been mopped in weeks the meat looked raw manager looks like he doesn't care Will never eat there ever again.

I joined Carl JR. online and was granted a reward option online as a result however I find I am unable to redeem it without a cell phone. I copied the QR CODE on my printer and handed the paper to the server at the window but was refused. The manager was uncaring and inflexible as well. So without a cell phone I will be unable to participate in any specials. They could not have cared less.

March 2014 Seems like they get my special order wrong every other time I go in or drive thru. Consistently. For all three years Ive lived down the street. Very frustrating. Happened again today and I had to write this. September 14 2022 Nothing has changed here over the years. Customer service is still the worst of any fast food shop I've ever visited. I always avoid this place but since it's around the corner, and I'm in a hurry, and they're open 24 hours, I'll give it another chance now and then but I'm consistently let down. Happened again today. They basically denied to give me my bought and paid for (confirmed via bank) order and told me too bad nothing they can do it's not in their system despite showing them the receipt. This restaurant is run by thieves. Buyer beware.

At approximately 7:40pm, I ordered using their coupons. I specifically instructed the staff plain breaded chicken sandwich, and I even told the manager about the special order which the duty manager confidently confirmed that the breaded chicken sandwich was plain. Once home, I was surprised to find out that the breaded chicken sandwich was not plain. Also, since ordering the breaded chicken sandwich with coupon, it stated on the coupon that I should have a small free fries and small soda, they forgot to include them. I was in a hurry to get out of the drive thru that I haven’t check my orders correctly. My order was a mess, I don’t even want to drive back just to get the small fries and drink, not worth my time and gas. They should double check the orders before giving it to the customers. And at that time I was only the customer in their drive thru. It’s not even busy. Terrible service. Not going back to this branch again. One star is being nice, there should be no star at all. Ruined my dinner! 😡 Remember we pay for our food provide us with a decent service! Your salary depends on us customers! 🤬

The worse location so far. Every time I order food from drive thro there is something missing. Either the coke the sauce or the order is entirely wrong and I have to wait extra on the line to get it fixed. On my last visit the chicken tenders tasted bitter. If you go at night the person who takes orders always gets it wrong. If I could do zero star I would!

I don't know why I went here again, but today was idiotic. There was one party of 2 sitting eating their food and two cars in drive through. Two workers with their headphones on and nobody at the counter. Not once was our presence acknowledged or letting us know they will be right there. They knew we were standing there but prioritized the drive through to the point that we may as well have been invisible. After over 5 minutes of being ignored we ended up walking out and going to Burger King down the street. We just wanted some fries and a shake. If you plan to go there, do drive through so you can get served. Burger King is down the street and Gus and Andy's is next door for options.

Today at about 3 PM a woman with what appeared to be fake name tag was working the register. She had a green piece of tape over her badge with the name, "Crilina" written on it. Probably a fake name since reviews may have been written about her. She was an older heavy set Hispanic woman with short grey (salt and pepper) hair. My receipt has the cashier name as, "Xpient". Another alias... First, she made me wait a long time to be helped while her family member passed her items through the drive thru window and she chatted with them in Spanish. I understand Spanish so I totally know it was a personal visit. Second, when I told her the Dr. Pepper tasted too sweet and asked if she could fill my cup with Dr. Pepper from the soda dispenser behind the counter she said she didn't have Dr. Pepper. When I asked if she can take a look at the dispenser on my side of the counter and fix it she refused and said, "Only the manager can fix it and they aren't here right now". Clearly the dispenser was out of carbonated water as it started to sputter when dispensing the drink. Shouldn't every employee know how to change or fix the soda machine when it's out of carbonated water? A lame excuse not to help, if you ask me. Third, when she picked up my fries to place them in the bag she was unsanitary and did not use the napkin technique I have seen other people working here use. Instead she grabbed them with her bare hand where her hand made contact with all the fries at the top and placed them in my bag. Needless to say I didn't eat the top edges of my fries that touched her hands. What a waste of food not to mention a disgusting way to handle food after taking personal items through the drive thru and handling money and credit cards from other patrons. Why doesn't the owner of this location give a damn? It's so disappointing that this is only Carl's in the neighborhood and it is hit or miss with sanitary conditions, rudeness and shear laziness.

This nightshift lady at drive through was TERRRRRIBLE, Gave attitude, kept messing up on order of what we wanted, almost like doing on purpose. English knowledge bare minimum. And what's worse at the end she did a terrible last punch with single napkin for 2 peoples big order. For owner of Carls jr this specific location, please deal with your terrible workers. Went here for lunch on 5/28/24 Ordered the Big Carl combo. Said small. The lady said all they have is medium and large. Combo was advertised at $14.69 I was charged #15.69. So the lady lies to make a extra dollar. Won't be back here. Employees are crooked. Place was empty with employees like this, I can see why. Will only go to IN n Out. The burger isn't flamed grilled. There was so much grease running off it.

I placed two online orders for pick up. When I arrived, the employee told me that they didn’t have any orders for me. When I checked the app, both orders had been cancelled. I asked who cancelled them and she said she didn’t know and couldn’t help me. One person was cooking and one was accepting money and packing the orders for drive thru and walkins so we just left. I don’t understand why Carls Jr would offer online orders if they don’t have someone available to serve them.

They do not honor the carls app. Nor will they help you understand it. They will just keep saying i dont know. Just go to a different one. Its not the cooks fault just poor customer service and very bad knowledge of their own job.

This nightshift lady at drive through was TERRRRRIBLE, Gave attitude, kept messing up on order of what we wanted, almost like doing on purpose. English knowledge bare minimum. And what's worse at the end she did a terrible last punch with single napkin for 2 peoples big order. For owner of Carls jr this specific location, please deal with your terrible workers. Time of her shift was 23:10 at 07/05/2025. Im sorry to put a bad review for carls jr as i love it alot, but this was a terrible upseting experience because of her

I don't know why I went here again, but today was idiotic. There was one party of 2 sitting eating their food and two cars in drive through. Two workers with their headphones on and nobody at the counter. Not once was our presence acknowledged or letting us know they will be right there. They knew we were standing there but prioritized the drive through to the point that we may as well have been invisible. After over 5 minutes of being ignored we ended up walking out and going to Burger King down the street. We just wanted some fries and a shake. If you plan to go there, do drive through so you can get served. Burger King is down the street and Gus and Andy's is next door for options.

The worse location so far. Every time I order food from drive thro there is something missing. Either the coke the sauce or the order is entirely wrong and I have to wait extra on the line to get it fixed. On my last visit the chicken tenders tasted bitter. If you go at night the person who takes orders always gets it wrong. If I could do zero star I would!
