Super helpful, friendly staff, good ol mountain town vibes. Has a nice outdoor patio. They had just closed when I had arrived but they were super kind. I wasn't feeling well and they called the fire department for me as I was in need of medical assistance even though they were in their own emergency situation with a power outage. Bless everyone who works here for their genuine goodness. I pass by here on my way to work and will definitely make it a go to lunch spot. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you!

Decided to drive up to Paradise Cafe for a cooler lunch! We Got a Chava burger and the melted focaccia tuna sandwich with green pepper. OMG they were just delicious. The Chava burger (with pepperoni) could literally serve 3 ppl. My focaccia melted tuna sandwich was heavenly. (The flies can be annoying but they are in the valley too)

Great stop on the Palms-to-Pines Scenic Byway! Got there about noon, staff told me they were in menu changeover, but no biggie. Waitress had a menu in front of me <60 sec; then a cold beer in <3min. Sandwich (Porsche) was about 10min and tasted great. Place had plenty of mountain bikers and PCT hikers. Genuinely enjoyed sitting still and drinking a beer.

The food and service are excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. Everything on the menu is great, with great specials and items for every diet. This is a busy place during PCT season, but they handle it well. I had the clam chowder with chicken wings, highly recommended!

Great moto and auto memorabilia throughout. Seating inside and out. Good access to plenty of parking. Wide range of beers and an interesting menu. We had fabulous lunch, efficient friendly waitress.

It's a great place to go if you're hiking, backpacking, or just want to drive not far from SD to have a great burger in a different place! Super friendly staff, Cynde's suggestion for the Sterling burger was 👏👏 My friends had garden burgers, and according to Cynde, it is real vegetables, not fake meat 👏👏 We brought the dogs, so we stayed in the patio , also 👏👏 And, we went hiking after eating 😍😍 Picture of Mt San Jacinto that you can see from the patio!!

Perfect road-side cafe! I stopped out of curiosity as I was driving and exploring the area. Ordered a tuna melt from the sandwich menu. The service was super quick and I had my fresh meal in less than 10mins. The Tuna melt was delicious and featured a delightful mild green pepper mixed in with the tuna. This gave the traditional recipient a slightly spicy kick that I really loved. It also had a ciabatta roll instead of the usual sour dough I’m used to and worked really well with the dish.

I have driven past this cafe easily over 100 times and it always caught my attention. I finally had an opportunity to eat here and was impressed. My burger (Jose Burger) was perfectly made Medium Rare and tasted great. Beer was good, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Came here Friday, and it wasn't busy. I got excellent service, and the food was delicious and quick service. This place gets busy on the weekends, patio seating, and pretty small inside.

Best Burgers I've had so far in the US. Could be partially due to the exhaustion from hiking there, but the service was definitely the best I've had so far. Got instantly a cold cup water for free when I've arrived there. Worth the price. Must try for every PCT hiker and everyone else.

This is always a good halfway point for hikers, bikers, or any travelers. We stopped for lunch here today, while taking a Harley ride. All the staff are friendly, we ordered what Cindy suggested, and was glad we took her advice. It was a yummy Sterling and Jose Burger, there could have been more jalapeno's on the Jose, I like them spicy. I love that it has outside seating and that it is pet-friendly. We always stop here for drinks or a meal, when we pass by. They have occasional music. We will be back on our next ride.

Service was prompt. The owner was very kind came over and spoke with us. As for the food, very good and you can bet we'll stop again!

If you're coming here for the Vegan burger they are NOT making it. I arrived at the beginning of lunch service and their chef didn't make or prepare them. Straight up just didn't offer them. Didn't run out or offer an alternative or anything. Restaurants need to stop listing things they don't offer.
