This review is not reflective of this store thus I gave a 5 star as to not effect the greatness this store manager has created. Starbucks as a whole in the Coachella valley however has slipped tremendously at ALL locations . The lack of product on seasonal promoted items, constant stock shortages and yes most recently the lack of the warm and fuzzy it once has is LOST. I hope as a company Starbucks considers going for revisiting this core and fundamental value in customer support before others as have I at times, start going and promoting other coffee establishments In the area and around the world. For the amount you charge for the cup, the rest is lacking and needs to be there from in stock items to the customer engagement.

I walked in and parked my car. Only because I wanted to make sure only one shot of coffee. This Starbucks was clean ,busy but did not wait at all. There were two cashier's. Then someone else that called my name made sure I received my order. Very up beat and enthusiasm in the air from all the staff.

I’ve never been to a Starbucks where everyone working there was legitimately so happy and having a good time! They were joking around and working hard and it’s so good to see that type of environment! I never review places, ever. But they deserve a good review

Very friendly baristas! Served me an iced-cold Americano on a scorching hot day here in the valley. Lots of table seating, and a spacious patio with some of the nicest chairs I have ever seen outside at a Starbucks. Parking no issue whatsoever as it’s surrounded by strip mall/big box stores with loads of room.

Most comfortable outdoor seating space out of any Starbucks in all of Coachella Valley. If you’re looking for a great hangout place where you won’t leave with a backache, you’re welcome. 🙂 cheers!

I ordered from the drive-through this morning, and the young lady at the window greeted me, handed me my drink, and asked if I'd like a straw (all before taking payment)! It's becoming rare to get thoughtful service at Starbucks anymore, but this morning, I drove off happy about more than coffee!

Haven't actually used the drive-thru, but the inside is fantastic. Friendly, quick staff, nice seating areas and lots of options on what to buy, both as consumables and reusable goods. Parking can be a bit tricky to navigate. The drive-thru always has cars in it, so they must be doing something right.

We only ever use the drive thru here but we love the baristas! I would have given it 5 stars if the wireless was accessible from the drive thru but alas you only get a signal about one car length from the window

Not a place I go for breakfast, coffee, yes. I would love to hang out there more if there were some more outlets to charge up my mobile device. I see some people trying to do it, but it's kind of small all, though there's plenty of space outside. Everyone is very friendly here and welcoming, if your not a regular, they push more towards the mobile. I say service is at its peak for the size of the place.

I go to this Starbucks Mon-Fri. Staff is always great. Very quick service. Clean. Now I thought I would never give a Starbucks a 4-star, but for the last couple months, they have been putting Extra Splash of cream, when I request just Splash of cream. Makes coffee taste more like milk. But Starbucks is awesome and I don't go anywhere else. Mos def recommend.

Hit or miss on how quickly they serve you. A slimmer older gentleman served me today and he was on it, would gave been 5 stars all across if I wasn't basing my rating on overall experiences. I just get coffee so I can't say how well they make the other drinks.

There isn't much to say about Starbucks, you get what you expect! The coffee is excellent but the breakfast bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was squashed. But this is something I expect, it's not fine dining!

This is by far the best Starbucks in the Coachella Valley when it comes to consistent quality of drinks. Unfortunately the cashier was more interested in talking to friends than loyal customers. I’d assume what I get for paying in cash every time. They treated me as though they didn’t know who I am.

Bring back Starbucks @ The River. This one is so poor by comparison. The coffee is inconsistent, the staff always seem rushed and angry. God forbid you should criticize a drink they have made, frosty looks and bad tempers abound. Not sure why this one is so bad when the one across the street had friendly staff and they cared about making great coffee. If you can be bothered, the new one on Varner Rd and Bob Hope in Thousand Palms is excellent.

Ordering gluten-free options here was very difficult. The prices we're higher than other similar cafes serving breakfast in the area. Parking, though not the Cafe's fault, what's congested.

I work 5am shifts a block away from this Starbucks so, naturally, I want to spend my money here. I also, understand how hard morning shifts are. This location specifically, has the worst customer service. My coworkers also order from this location. I have made it a point to order 20mins AHEAD, to avoid being late. I show up, and the coffees are still not finished. I don't ever expect any staff to check on me at this point. You walk into the building and aren't even acknowledged. The past few times I have finally spoken up about my caramel/mocha drizzle being missing (its petty but, im also paying .60 for it.) Every time I bring it up, I get an attitude. Trust me, I want to just leave and not be late for work but it's the principle at this point. I have experimented and ordered from the 111 Palm Desert location and they get it right with a smile in a timely manner. I have tried Coffee Bean on El paseo, and they are so awesome, no problems. This location is the most convenient for me, unfortunately. I hope you guys can correct this issue.

Whatever you do, do NOT order the egg, sausage wrap. It's terrible! Egg was completely tasteless, until the last 4 bites or so and then I found the smallest amount of tiny pieces of sausage -but at least that tasted like something. Nah...a complete ripoff. Coffee was pretty good.

This place is honestly so bad, the drinks come out bad 9/10 times. They are also really rude & not consistent with anything including service. I’m constantly having them remake drinks and I don’t have a crazy order, it’s literally menu items??? I work in food service and honestly this establishment would be embarrassing to me if I managed here.

Went to pick up coffee, google said it was still open, but apparently they close their doors an hour early and only do drive thru, though it doesn’t say that anywhere! Would’ve even give me a mobile order

Staff is great I give them 5 stars but whoever runs this place is incompetent. Drinks are never done correctly and wait times are ridiculous. These are all failures from management and you can tell they don't care because this place only gets worse. When this location first opened it was great then they brought in new people and it's ruined.

I moved here in April and needed to establish the go-to Starbucks location. Let me save you time, don’t go to this one. If you don’t tip them, they will mess up your drink. It happened several times. I always tip, but the times where I couldn’t regretted it because the drink turned out terrible. You can’t tell them they messed up either because they gaslight you and are super rude.

If you’re in a hurry do not come to this Starbucks. Regulars take priority over everything. I ordered 1 latte and 1 oat shaken espresso and it took forever - but the worst part was three people who ordered well after me received their drinks before I got mine. Sometimes that’s fine when they ordered simpler drinks but these people were grabbing venti blended fraps, and lattes. Annoying. But if you’re a regular they’ll apparently treat you like gold as I watched happen over and over.

Honesty since they made the modifications to this location I’ve had the worst experience ever. I used to come to this Starbucks everyday after work to study till they closed. It was a very welcoming and nice place to sit and study. Now with that they did they gave the baristas so much room to work in and completely forgot about the customers. I’ve tried to go to this Starbucks to study since they open again Feb 10. The first times I went their internet was down. Which is unbelievable because when you go to a Starbucks you go there most often for the coffee and the wifi no??? I had another customer agree with me on this. But never the less I kept trying. Then today when I went was the last straw. I went inside to find that ALL the 3 seat they honestly have because the new setup they decided to go with is completely horrible were all filled with people not even studying but just talking. That wouldn’t have been a problem and I would’ve just taken a seat outside. If it wasnt for the fact that with the new “upgraded” look they did. EVERY single outlet are on that one single couch they added nothing else, or even outside at all either. So if your device dies. Well good luck. Better go some place else. Over all it’s just upsetting that being a place I used to drive 30 minutes for on my day off just to sit a bit and study. No longer will be a spot for me. The barista are great do not get me wrong. But no longer an enjoyable stop anymore sadly.

I went in for a drink at 8:20 pm and the two employees there a male and female, the guy was rude at drive thru handing me the drink and I realized the drink was basically all milk, so I went in and asked for them to remake my drink and the female was insisting that it looked fine while the male was continuously giving an attitude with his looks. My second drink tasted like soap. So disappointed.

Received an incomplete order for the very berry hibiscus... Didn't have the berries and tasted bland like sugar water... Need to restock if it's a busy local. I'm not satisfied with the lack of quality.

I always order the matcha with cold foam and this time it has like little stuff at top as if it wasn't blended correctly, I nicely asked the girl and she said that's the way starbucks wants it but I always drink starbucks like every day?? so I went back and asked if they could fix it they didn't say really anything and when she was done she js threw the cup in the counter without saying anything it's still the same tastes disgusting and I love starbucks matcha but it's js a no this time. and if it's a starbucks issue they should not sale matcha or warn the customer before hand. I'm acually so sad and disappointed. so yea starbucks fix ur matcha and customer service.

Out of all of our local Starbucks this one that has the worst customer service, actually the only one with awful customer service. 2:00 p.m. everyday with my usual and whether it's lady original they all greet you the same. What can I get you started with 🤦🏽‍♀️. Probably because I'm spoiled by all the other ones. Today this guy hands me my drink takes my money and gives me a thumbs up. Never said two words to me stupid kid 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄🤣
