I had a quick lunch meeting here. And I have to say, the food was great. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had the privacy to discuss work. I highly recommend the steak salad or the seared Ahi tuna salad! The sandwiches are also great. Male sure you give yourself time, though. The patio is closed during the summer, and it gets crowded inside.

I love coming here. The brunch menu is great. I got the eggs benedict and the husband got pancakes with side of bacon n eggs. The service was wonderful. Definitely a place to go back to!

This place was very busy on a Monday night. Most of the customers seem to be local senior citizens though. There was no line because you can easily make reservations before arriving. We really enjoyed our dinner here. The service and food was great. I would definitely recommend if you are in the Palm Desert area.

VICKY WAS AMAZING! Great food, strong cocktails. Make a reservation, this is a popular spot with great food at great prices. The menu has a great variety, from calamari to pasta, all of which are filling, delicious options. The seating inside was roomy and comfortable, but there is gorgeous outdoor seating. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food came out all at once in a timely manner. Definitely a must try if in the area.

The Daily Grill is located at a perfect spot: at the beginning of El Paseo shopping district, which means you get both a great view of the street and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff are very friendly and nice. And they ensure that your visit goes absolutely as well as it could. The restaurant offers a great variety of selections, from salads to burgers and other types of food. The food items we ordered were all wonderful; we were very satisfied. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would have, especially with the amazing service the staff offer. I strongly recommend this restaurant (and make sure to make a reservation beforehand!).

Been here a few times and today was just as consistent as past visits. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Menu was packed with great options for a nice-casual lunch. Loved the variety of smart and healthy food choices available. Our meals were presented beautifully and the price was pretty much what it should be for such a high level of quality and location. Well done!

Loved my meatloaf. The sides were very good too. The rest of our party loved their meals too. Complimentary warm sourdough bread was a nice touch too. I tried the lemonade and it was great. Our server Peter was awesome. Prices were very reasonable. Park in the back!

We went last Monday. We loved the food! Always sooooo delicious. However my criticism goes to the front end being a little disorganized when seating. Also our waitress didn't come to bring us water or take drink orders until I had to ask the hostess where or who was our waitress.

Excellent service, the view of the mountain was stunning. Good was average. Blackened tuna was just ok the vegetable was funny looking ( like deep fried or taken out of freezer), Ruben sandwich - the corned beef was sliced too thick, the peanut coleslaw was runny and watery. The fish and chips - the sweet potatoes fries are good, fish looked over fried (inside fish was tender) or they use different batter ( in Britain the batter was light golden color) or used very old oil.

Maybe they were understaffed, rushing, never came back for water - maybe relying on waiters instead of using busing staff (?). Ambience is okay, but with so many other options nearby- your better off going to a place with great food. Food here is subpar; awful sweet potato fries, cold and limp- as if they were frozen and thawed, hardly salted and then served. Inedible. The other plates we had, just not good. Friendly enough staff, but for the menu price, food should be better than what it is, truly. It’s too bad, cause a couple of years ago this place was decent.

I’ve eaten many meals at the Daily Grill in Palm Desert and I’ve generally been very satisfied. My wife ordered a small chicken pot pot for pick up the other night and it was substandard at best. They have changed the chicken from chicken white meat to thigh meat, and there was a virtually no vegetables in the pot pie. Would not order again.

Had a reservation, was not greeted. When finally seated… no service. We had to ask, the answer we received was that the hostess forgot to tell our server. The server was lovely but my husband received the wrong entree. No comp as a result of the horrible experience we received. We will not be returning.
