Los Portales Taco Shop

This place is fantastic!! They offer a great selection of options, a la carte and plate offerings, at the best prices! They have specials available all week and allow for substitutions. My family and I order from here often and our order has always been delicious, filling, accurate and made fresh to order. They have a guacamole salsa that is awesome and the staff is helpful, friendly and pleasant on every visit.

A little pricey, BUT, very very good food! We cannot complain. You have to try the green salsa and the dark red salsa at the salsa bar. My favorite! Their fish, asada, carnitas, al pastor tacos are bombizzle foe shizzles, my nizzles 😋 😋🌮🌮🌮🌮

Always good, always fresh. Some of the best salsa in the area but go early, once they sell out that's it!

At first it seemed pricey, until we saw the serving size. Very tasty, really good salsas. Maybe the beans come out of a can, but I would be surprised cuz they tasted like the overnight soaked ones my mother in law makes.

Great food and customer service. The restaurant is well maintained (meaning it’s clean). Our family favorites are rolled taquitos, street tacos and rice/beans. Would highly recommend this place.

The hard shell tacos (both shredded beef and shredded chicken) were full of meat, juicy, and very tasty. The bean & cheese tostado was good. I personally like a crispier, bigger tostado shell. And the chicken rolled tacos were crispy & full of meat. They were very good. The service at the cash register was friendly and helpful. Even had a little conversation where I decided to get some delicious Horchata. Just like the Vampire Weekend song with the lyrics, "...in December drinking Horchata..." No problem with the parking. Pretty big parking lot. I highly recommend Los Portales Taco Shop.

Great food Great prices. Nice local spot for a great meal. I had the Carne asada plate which included rice and beans. I chose corn tortillas. I also got a large horchata. Everything was excellent.

This is another small place I stumbled across. They have Amazing Food. Their Salsas are great. The Al Pastor is really good. Also the carnitas torta was really good too.. I will be back.

Our first time there today. The food was amazing! The young lady that took our order definitely needs to smile more and amp up her customer service skills. The other young lady working there was very sweet and respectful. Definitely recommend, the taste and freshness of the food makes you want to go back every week!

Food is okay, well served and good flavor. Shout out to Bry for always assisting me. She’s kind and is always ready to help me out.

The inside smells absolutely scrumptious. Loved the taco choices. Lots of meet in mine. The only issue of concern was the beans and rive were barely warm. The young lady that took our order was a bit stingy on the plastic containers for the sauces. Could use some cut up lime or lemon in the self service area.i will go again but not order beans or rice. I love mine much better. Just saying.

I ordered a fish Burrito. For $13.75 in March 2025, there was very little fish, mostly cabbage. The rice and beans were small portions. They put rice and beans in a small plastic container. Not going back anytime soon.

Worst thing I can say is that the food portions were on the small side… which is kind of a backhanded compliment. In other words, I am saying the opposite of that ancient Woody Allen joke about a woman complaining about the food as being terrible, plus such small quantities of it! Nice Mexican music that they play a little too loudly for my tastes. Coffee was decent. Nice atmosphere.

Food was hot and fresh. A bit expensive for a taco shop. No service except at the counter. Place was a little busy. Loud Spanish TV was on. Tables not very clean. Condiments bar was a strange setup. You get the cups at the register and get the lids at the station once you filled your cups. Only allowed 2 cups. We all had carne asada burritos. Not to impressed especially with rice in them as a filler. They were small for the price of $12.45 each. I've had bigger meat filled burritos for under $10. Wish I had taken a picture.

I'm a burrito guy, why not have the entire flavor of your meal in one delicious bite! That said, the last trip there had me enjoying the Pollo Asada burrito. The chicken has a decent char flavor backed up with beans rice and some guac on the side (I order it on side, as I've noticed we tend to get more, than asking out inside🤔👍🏻) The wife tends to get a taquito plate, but since trying my burrito has also given the👍🏻 to the pollo burrito. As for the atmosphere, pretty much inline with the Taco shop & Los Primoo (pretty much food wise too) with an edge to Primos for burritos. If you live in the area I could see this as your go to. It's always clean and tidy when I walk in, takes about 10 minutes to get your food and worth your hard earn money and time. If you like the two places as mentioned above, you'll like Los Portales!

It has really good food. It looked like the taquitos were a huge hit. I ordered the taco and taco salad with carne asada for both.

I went in there to support my Mexican people but I was disappointed to see that the menu prices on line were different than the stores. It's ok i don't mind paying a little more if the food is great. Unfortunately I hate to say this but Chipotle is much better than this. Next time I'm just gonna go to Chipotle...

It's 13$ for a breakfast burrito that is the same diameter as a salsa cup. It tasted fine, but thats way to expensive for what you're getting.

Hair in the food. Horrible customer service when I brought it to their attention. That’s all you need to know. Spend your money elsewhere.

Workers are rude, place is dirty, food is nasty, me and my family got the food during around 11am on a Friday, I got the birria tacos, the birria was extremely spicy and the comsumé tasted like pure oil, talk about early heart attacks, my sister got the menudo, extremely spicy as well, my mother got the taquitos and they were dry, and didn’t taste good at all. Hope u guys learn how to do better in the future, and 13 dollars for a burrito is outrageous, and extremely ridiculous to charge 15 dollars for 3 tacos that I could make at home in a crockpot!!!

Came for a few weeks in a row and food quality/service kept declining. It’s a hit or miss, cashiers are busy with everything but service, I was one of two people waiting for a to go order and my order sat in the counter for 10 minutes before they realized it was mine and handed it to me. Used to buy their hot carrots, then they would forget them in my bag, now I was told they don’t serve them anymore. Had the fajitas once and the microwaved tortillas were crunchy sheets of cardboard. It’s sad that a restaurant like this can’t even be successful. This was our last time, don’t make it your first choice!

Went in and ordered a carne asada burrito with shrimp and guacamole..total was $16.04 which is fine, I'm not complaining about the price, but they didn't put guacamole in it and it was almost all onions. They put potatos and sourcream in it. When I called they just gave me attitude and were not helpful at all. I definitely won't be going back and not recommend this place to anybody.

We placed our order and sat down and after 45 minutes of sitting there we see people coming and going with their orders, we are wondering what happened to our order since we haven’t received it yet and we go ask and the girls at the cashier to find out they had forgotten about us, skipped putting our order in ,were completely lost and couldn’t figure out why we hadn’t gotten our order yet and had no urgency to get us our order so we sadly asked for a refund and went Nextdoor to eat sushi. Their customer service and awareness for the business customers is not there at all, seems like they could care less and we’re too busy talking.

I love putting a pick up order of $100+ at 8pm to be told a bullshit excuse why they don’t have any other salsa other than pico de gallo. That’s my favorite thing in the whole wide world! Other than that, food is bomb, just don’t appreciate dumb reasons why I can’t get salsa with my order
