Nam Nam in Surrey Quays is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh and full of flavour, but what really makes the experience special is the service. A big shoutout to Nadi, who always goes above and beyond with a warm smile and top-notch customer care. Highly recommend this place — great food and even better service!

Sooo delicious!!! Freshly made and piping hot! Next time I’ll catch an earlier train to have the Banh Mi :> == And I did, and it’s as good as they’ve promised. The toasted baguette is soft with a crunchy crust. The beef is tender and well seasoned, and filled all the way down. Next time I can omit the salad sauce though.

Takeaway only with customers using the supplied ipads to order on site. Wasn't much interaction with staff but they were friendly and helpful enough. We ordered the Chicken burger, steak and chicken topped fries, steak noddles and chicken rice. Food is reasonably priced but more importantly, tastes real good. All meats are tender and juicy. Portion size is good as well. We parked in the nearby Tescos as there is no on street parking. We will be back

Really good food, very pleasant staff and it only took about 7 minutes for my food to be ready. Nice atmosphere but could do with some stools or something to sit while you wait. Definitely recommend the duck fries

OH MY GOODNESS! Absolutely fell in love with the Bahn Mi 😍 it was so delicious, meat was so flavoursome and the roll was not soggy at all (I ordered through Deliveroo). The spring rolls were nice as well and nice change to getting smaller ones like you do list places 😋 Definitely will be ordering again 😎

Amazing food, great service. Big portion for the price. It gets a bit smoky inside sometimes but you can always order pickup or wait outside.

Worth the 4 trains I took to get there. Freshly prepared food. Authentic and delicious. Got the beef bahn mi and the pork rice box. Packed with flavour. Need more locations. Will take better pictures next time I promise.

Been twice and loved it both times, you can smell the smokiness from the streets before even entering the shop. The cooks and counter lady are always chatty, friendly, and efficient. With the bun cha hanoi, the rendered fat from the grilled pork imparts a smokiness to the noodles and veg, the tangy nuoc cham enlivens the dish. Each bite is as moreish as the last. Hope to be back to try the banh mi or duck on fries!

Food was great, came quick the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and chill and the food portions was very good, will be back !

This is a jewel of a place. Four of us had dinner here the other day. The food was spectacular and so full of flavour. Great atmosphere and absolutely charming people. Packed with happy people. Much slurping and smacking of lips.

I have walked past Nam Nam many times and finally decided to stop in. Ordering was simple on a touch screen. It allows you to personalise your meal. I didn’t want cucumber and pickled carrots which allowed me to remove, however the dish came with it anyway. I got a pork rice box and vegetarian spring rolls. I wanted the chicken rice box but this was not available on this occasion. The food was really tasty. There was a very short wait time from ordering to receiving the food. I will definitely come back.

Never had a bad meal from here I find the food is spiced correctly and fresh ingredients 😀 Good portions Good value for money 😀

I have been buying food from Nam Nam for at least 4 years now , but unfortunately tonight the food was not up to their usual standard. The rice was very dry. The prawns were barely cooked and the beef was too tough. I ordered Surf and turf with rice. Why did also add large amounts of raw white onion to the dish? I’m not impressed. Nam Nam is by far one of the best takeaways on lower road, Surrey Quays but the meal was not great all. I am really disappointed,

I’ve been going to Nam Nam for a few years now but recently staff aren’t as attentive as they used to be and the price increases are ridiculous. Especially as the food has become sub-par. I won’t be back again. Their usual lunch time offer £10 for banh-mi, fries & a drink has changed to £12 for banh-mi, wings and a drink. That was fine but I wanted fries as per the previous lunch deal. The server fussed that this wasn’t possible and directed me to the self-service till. I used the iPad and it showed wings weren’t available so it just felt like arguing for the sake of it. I ordered a chicken banh-mi, with no cucumber and Coke then I substituted for fries. I waited about 30 minutes for my order as saw Diet Coke instead. I asked for Coke again as I had ordered and was yelled at with staff saying “We’re out it’s Monday, we sold out” Okay, but why not update the self service like they did for wings? On their GoodEats io page it still showed all of the above as in stock too. I go onto eat my Banh-Mi and it was so flavourless, my friend’s banh-mi had cartilage in it and my own had cucumber even though I had marked this to be removed on the self-service till. There was also spoiled coriander in the sandwich. Clearly past its best before date. The spring rolls were terrible, tasted like the worst quality freezer version. I went back to complain and the server immediately said that’s how it’s usually made. I showed him the receipt and then he flippantly said “sorry”. It’s shocking and their so called “deals” don’t make sense. It’s not value for money AND it’s poor quality especially when they used to make great food. A couple that came in after us went next door to buy drinks since their lunch menu would be £17 for a main, side & drink. Feels like their only focus is delivery service, you’re forgotten about in store and treated as a nuisance.

They took my order incorrectly and gave mw the wrong meal I ordered surf and turf with chips and repeated it twice and they gave me rice Their number does not work to allow calls to go through and ordered in the evening so would be unable to go back in time before the store closed Will be away so can’t sort it out tomorrow either I want my money back for the order - you should at the best least make calling available this is so frustrating

Rude staff, bad experience. Do not recommend. Food are very cold and not been cooked properly.
