Cool beach vibe Italian spot! I am looking forward to diving in on the main menu! Pizza was amazing, you can taste the quality in the Ingredients. Small, but awesome wine selection, definitely quality over quantity. Highly recommend giving this place a try!!

Want to take the time to rave about this Italian restaurant that made me feel like I was right in Italy when savoring their delicious foods. So fresh and tasty, you can tell all is made out of scratch. By far the best Italian restaurant I have been to and the atmosphere and the service was exceptional! Thank you Falyn and Alex for making us feel so welcoming, felt very special with all the attention provided by you both. Marisa the drink (Casablanca) was as sooo good! Truly recommend this restaurant! Cat wait to go on Wednesdays to taste your pizzas!

Wonderful dinner at Mamasamas! Our waitress, Milena, was so kind and gave us the best recommendations for our first meal here! We enjoyed some awesome drinks (highly recommend their pane fresco cocktail), apps, and for entrees had the Ragu and a Chicken Involtini special - both were great. For dessert we shared their Budino - the absolute highlight of the evening! Overall great ambiance, service, and meals. Definitely make a reservation if you plan to dine in. It’s not a huge restaurant, and they do require a deposit for the reservation.

Just finished dinner - Fantastic! Phenomenal meal. I can heartily recommend for a date. Or just go to try their fantastic Italian dishes. We had a full meal, appetizers through dessert, and everything was delicious. The owner Nick and his whole staff were wonderful. Glad they were on my 'Must Try' list. Now on my 'Must Go Again' list to sample some more selections.

Damien served us at the bar and he did a fantastic job. Super personable, great recommendations, and makes drinks very fast and like a pro. Food was the best ive had in a year. Went in eith not super high hopes and left wanting more immediately. The smores dessert was the best ive ever had in my life.

We got there about 10 minutes early for our reservation. It took a little while for a host to come towards the front door, but our table was already waiting for us. Good thing as there was no room at the bar at that point. Just gonna say we loved our evening, but it is a pretty tight squeeze, and the chairs aren't very comfortable… Honestly, that's our only negative. The food was amazing. We had the Arancini balls appetizer, papardelle beef ragú pasta and fish entree. There is nothing we would change everything was cooked to perfection. The desserts were absolutely fabulous… The tiramisu and the.bondino!! I am still thinking about them a few days later. Wonderful espresso martinis as well. Stacy was our very kind, energetic and attentive server. She made our date night evening so fun. We will 100% be back and loyal guests!

Been waiting for this kind of Italian food to land in Jax Beach 🙏 We grabbed a seat at the bar on a Saturday night and were greeted with friendly faces and a delicious menu. Started with cocktails then ordered the arancini to start — so delicious and flavorful, loved the mushrooms. We ordered the pistachio pesto and the pappardelle ragu and the ragu won us over. Tiramisu for dessert was super rich and yummy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Veal schnitzel was phenomenal. And do not pass up the desserts! You won’t regret it. Staci was an absolute delight as our server. She knows the menu and made great recommendations!

Lex is the possibly the best server we have ever had! She was so nice and very attentive! It was Valentine’s Day and she even gave us a gift!!! With a card!!! So sweet of her to even think of that and make our special day that much better. Highly recommend the delicious food and cross your finders you get her as your server. She is awesome! 100/10

I went to Mamasamas on my birthday in October and had a fantastic time. The prepared dishes were both awesome for me and my friend, and the entire staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, especially Nick, the owner. I especially enjoyed the meatballs and fresh baked bread served with oil, before the main entree of pappardelle 24 hr ragu, which was simply outstanding!! My friend had the very fresh catch of the day and could not have been more pleased. There is plenty of parking, so make a reservation NOW and go see my friend Nick and his staff at Mamasamas. You'll be very glad you did!!!

We had the best experience at this local Italian spot in Neptune Beach — it’s an absolute must-try! The vibe is amazing — cozy, family-style, and full of great energy. The drinks were excellent, the appetizers were delicious, and the pasta was so fresh. The ambience made the night, but what really stood out was our server, Staci. She made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down, explained the menu beautifully, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were never rushed. Her warmth and attention to detail truly elevated the entire experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Off the bat this place is not located in the most appealing area- in fact we thought we were lost when we were trying to find it… But upon entering the restaurant you are instantly transported to a different vibe- which is appreciated. I did find it to be quite tight, but nice style. In terms of service, it would’ve added to the atmosphere/vibe if all the staff at least wore coherent outfits. Our waitress was also pretty nonchalant … It was also pretty hot inside not sure if that’s typical or just the evening we visited. We tried a few plates- unfortunately I couldnt take the best photos as my husband was eager to try! The arancini were great, perfect texture. The meatballs (4) were also good, but the sauce it came with kind of tasted like something from a can… the pistachio pesto pasta was also good but felt like it was lacking something like garlic! Garlic wouldve definitely made it better. I also dont think it had basil which I think is the basis of a true pesto … the best plate was the 24hr ragu but even that - the meat didnt taste as good as we had hoped- maybe not the best quality… Overall I would rate this experience 3.6 stars…

Long story short: one order of 4 meatballs and one small order of burrata (with only two pieces of bread) cost $50. The entire order was stuffed into paper boxes, two of which were soaked by the time I got home. Listen, the place has a good vibe and seems popular, but c’mon… 50 bucks for two small appetizers??

Meatballs and Burrata (2 separate appetizers) were good…standard fare. It bothered me that $43 worth of appetizers came with only 2 thin slices of bread. Their intention, it seems, is to get you to spring for the $5 bread dish upgrade. It certainly rubbed me the wrong way. The gnocchi arrabbiata was very plain and on the mushy side. The pistachio pesto, however, was terrific. I had this in Rome last week with prawns and this dish could stand up to it. Worth trying.

I’m for some reason going to go opposite of what all the other reviews are about. The service is VERY TERRIBLE here. Idk if it’s just the bartender I’ve gotten twice now but I will not be coming back. The bartender with brown curly shoulder length hair (I think Rachel but not sure) is clearly not paying attention to guests at all whatsoever. First time I came it was a Friday night - so I gave the benefit of the doubt for her making 2 of my drinks wrong, food taking forever, and simply just bad service. BUT the 2nd time I came midweek and she was just the same. I honestly was hoping she wasn’t working for my 2nd encounter but that wasn’t the case. I’m not sure if she just hasn’t worked bar service before or if she just isn’t suited for a restaurant industry job but she sure isn’t suited to work THIS restaurant bar. My drink was made wrong, the martinis that she makes are not even half way filling the martini glass, and our cold appetizer dish took over 30 minutes to come out. No apology or mention of it. There were multiple people that sat down at the bar after us that were serviced first before we received our drinks. Won’t be coming back here unfortunately because of the service alone from her AND the long ticket times. Ended up going to catullos for entrees because this place took WAY too long for even just an app. Not worth the prices for terrible service.
