IMONE BBQ

Visiting from Saint Lucia - went 30.6.2025 about 7pm. Not crowded, great food, and as others have said, staff very welcoming and happy to guide you through the menu - we had a BBQ Modeum Goji Platter and added a couple of starters and had Makgeolli - we got a complimentary small soup and added on radish kimchi. Everything was delicious, very mild spice. I regret not asking the staff's names but, a young tall slim Korean man with great tattoos, slim young Korean woman, one tattoo and a possibly Indian man, very friendly service all round

Had a fantastic time at Imone! The meat was great and our server Vanessa made sure we were taken care of.

Firstly, the restaurant as a whole was very clean and modern. Secondly, the food quality was top notch and very large portions, I almost didn’t finish everything. The complimentary seafood stew with every bbq meat was very filling and could be a dish on its own. I was surprised to see mussels and small octopus in the soup, which was a delite. (Salad was the best) Thirdly, the servers and service was impeccable, they were very friendly and I would highly recommend asking them if you have any questions about the menu as they are quite knowledgable. In conclusion, the food is delicious and would highly recommend coming with large groups for food and drinks. The selection of drinks is to be explored as they have a wide variety. (Alcoholic and non alcoholic)

The food and service is exceptional. Su Jin was so welcoming, a fantastic hostess who was extremely knowledgeable and guided us well through the menu. The flavours of all the dishes were incredible - we had the BBQ set and a ttuk bokki set with an extra side of Waygu washed down with Cas beer or maekgoli (we love food and came with big appetites - the portions are really generous). Everything was delicious! Thank you for a fabulous experience!

Highly recommended! What a find! Food is amazing, the staff helped us understand each dish and the quantity we should order, they even suggested we change out a dish as it has not been as well received recently. When servicing or speaking to us the staff ‘crouched’ to our level so as to meet us at our eye-line. A small thing but really showed respect and service. Staff realised we were pretty new to Korean BBQ, so they helped us start cooking, checked in often and explained the best way to eat the food etc. Awesome value, awesome service and amazing food! It is a small restaurant so be aware there is no sweet available and it is not a quiet place to eat.

Absolutely love this restaurant that has just opened in New Malden. It has a nice modern vibe. The box seating that you can open and put your coats & belongings in so they don’t catch the BBQ smell on them. I got a local brewed Makgeolli which tastes different to what you would normally be able to purchase in shops. It has a stronger alcoholic taste which goes great with the food and an alternative to drinking beer or soju. With an almost creamy taste to it. The side dishes were tasty & the YukHoe ( raw beef ) was probably one of the best versions of this dish that I’ve ever had. And the spicy prawns were very nice! The bbq meat quality is great & the main meals are also very tasty. This time I tried the spicy bibim noodles which was so good! Chewy spicy cold noodles with BBQ meat on the side on a hot day. Will definitely come back again to try more dishes

Absolutely incredible Korean BBQ and restaurant, best I've ever had. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, they helped us to choose the right amount of food, gave excellent recommendations and ensured the table BBQ food was properly cooked and turned. The quality of the food was incredibly high, the meat was all perfectly marbled and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning!

Recently visited IMONE BBQ, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the variety of dishes was impressive, offering a delightful mix of flavors that complemented the main courses perfectly. What truly stood was the great service- the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. They were quick to assist with grilling. Overall, it exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for authentic Korean BBQ and the best kimchi pancakes in town with top-notch service, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be returning soon!

This place is a gem. The team is welcoming and happy to explain if you feel a bit confused about the menu. The food is really good quality, from the meats for grilling to their noodle and side dishes. This is a Korean bbq experience elevated to another level. I really cannot fault it in any way. Shout out to Jeevan who always provides a great service and has a bright smile on his face.

The portions are very good, the quality of the food is even better and the staff and service cannot be faulted. It's not cheap, but you pay for quality. Definitely returning to try other parts of the menu. Highly recommend.

The best ever kbbq we’ve had in London! The staff were very attentive, friendly, and very accommodating to our circumstances (we have a baby along). The foods are absolutely fabulous and the portions are big - very much worth the price. Also, the service was fast. The quality of meat is very good and the mul-naengmyeon is a must order! FYI, we ordered: samgyeopsal, beef bulgogi, ox tongue, mul naengmyeon, and pajeon. We went home very full - what an absolute pleasure! Cannot recommend enough! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Honestly one of the best BBQ experiences! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 There's a lot more to say from my first visit so here are the main points: 🌟 Best Yukhoe I've ever tasted *MUST TRY* Cut to perfection, seasoned beautifully and the portion is HUUUGE. We ended up ordering 2! 🌟 Great selection of BBQ Huge choice of meats. We went for the wagyu and black pork belly 😋. 🌟 Quick and super friendly service They explained the meat and dish differences and the food came out really quickly so we had plenty of time to cook and enjoy the experience. I really liked the interior too - sleek black design. Because of this, I was expecting a pricey meal but turned out slightly cheaper than other places in New Malden. Will defo come again soon!! 😊

The two brothers who own the restaurant, along with the other staff, were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we felt right at home. As our table of 10 was quite large, both brothers went through the whole menu with us, explaining the types of dishes, what is popular, and what is staple to their heritage. In the end, we had so much faith and trust in our experience that we entrusted them to order enough food for our table. The food was nothing short of extraordinary – every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. It's clear that a lot of love and care goes into their menu. If you're looking for a place that combines great ambiance, great service, and delectable cuisine, you have found the spot. (Definitely try their cold noodles!) Imone BBQ brings something different and exciting to New Malden. The effort and attention to detail reflects in everything you see, from the branding and the interior to the menu and service. The food is excellent, all the meat is top quality and you can go for melt-in-your-mouth wagyu for a price that won’t break your bank. Perfect for a little treat. They also offer to grill your meats for you so if you aren’t sure and want the full experience the owners are happy to assist. The seafood jeongal had a little bit of a kick which warmed us up perfectly and the seafood and vegetables tasted so fresh! The tofu bibimbap we ordered was the first time I’ve tried it, but it tasted so good on its own I didn’t even need the gochujang sauce 😂 They also have a wide selection of soju, the plum honey soju being my favourite. Overall, they have the perfect balance of quality, affordability and authenticity. They have carried on their mums legacy brought their own vision to life and I am excited to see what else the future has in store for them! Congratulations Song Brothers!

It was my first time I had Korean food. I am from Brazil and the experience was very new for me. The waiter kindly helped me and guided me what choose from the menu and everything was very fresh and delicious. I loved all! Definitely deserve 5 stars in all way. First time yesterday with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and we were so glad we came here!! All the staff members were amazing, professional and very helpful. The food was delicious and the meat literally would melt in your mouth! I definitely recommend for anyone to try this Korean BBQ restaurant, it truly worths your time. Best Korean food in London!!

Definitely one of my favorites on my list now. The food is fresh and tasty with a wide selection to choose from. Very nice and helpful staff as well. The place itself is a VIIIBE of it’s own, you can tell they put a lot of themselves into creating a great experience.

Very nice restaurant: call up, come early, put deposit on. Manager and team offer great service: takes care to explain recommendations advices, to turn food for you, even if they are very busy! When it’s busy it’s well spaced and laid out we had a group of 9 that easily fit in, and spacing / facilities seem well thought of. High food quality: ribeye, unmarinated set and salads. Drinks: green soju, soju mojito. Regular cleaning and change of grills as well.

Without a doubt the Best Korean BBQ I have ever been too!! The food was exquisite, interior was beautifully designed and the service was outstanding!⭐️ I would definitely recommend the Wagu Chadolbagi, the quality of the meat is top tier. Can’t wait to return!!

I recently dined at IMONE BBQ and was thoroughly impressed. Our waitress, Hye, provided exceptional service, making our experience truly enjoyable. The food was outstanding—especially the Galbitang and Wagyu galbisal—much better than what you’d find in London, both in quality and value. The portions were generous, and the flavours authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I’ll definitely be returning. IMONE BBQ is a hidden gem outside of London and highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-notch Korean dining experience

I recently visited Imone BBQ with my work colleagues, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. The staff took great care of us, cooking our food to perfection and serving it nice and hot. The recommendations they gave were spot on, and the quality of the meat was top-notch—every bite was packed with flavor! The bibimbap was fresh and delicious, and the japchae was a real highlight—perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. A special shout-out to Jeevan, who was incredibly helpful. He cooked our food at the table, served it to us while chatting, and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back. 10/10 service!

We had a family birthday here and it was fantastic. The staff were so accommodating with our toddler and a coeliac member of the party, as well making a great effort with the birthday. Food is delicious too!

A fantastic experience! Staff was so friendly for us on Valentine's day, even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was fabulous and well-priced, and they kept coming around to give us tastes of new things (and a little photo to take home too!) Ever since moving to London almost 9 years ago, my husband and I have been looking for authentic Korean BBQ and we have tried a bunch of places in Central London that were just ok but nothing that really stood out for us. We happened to see an article that Time Out London posted about the best Korean restaurants in London and we noticed Imone, which is located in New Malden, an area we had never been to before, so we decided to give it a try. Our expectations were not only met, they were also exceeded! The quality of the food was just incredible and so fresh. We ordered the LA Galbi (marinated short ribs) and also the Bulgogi (marinated beef) that we cooked at our table and they were delicious, tender and perfectly seasoned and honestly, the best we have had in London! We also loved how Imone serves traditional banchan (assorted Kimchi and other side dishes) as part of your meal. This was such a welcome surprise since the Korean restaurants we have visited in Central London don’t do this. In addition to the delicious food, the service was wonderful and everyone working there was so friendly and helpful and it made for a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend Imone to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Korean BBQ! We will definitely be going back!

This was our first time trying Korean BBQ and let me you, tell this was the absolute perfect place for it! We had no idea how the experience was supposed to work but our server Jeevan acted as our very own private chef. Helping us out and teaching us a about all the wonderful dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! 5/5, I would recommend it to everyone!

My son recommended this restaurant to us and we had never eaten Korean food before. I booked next door by accident but it was no problem to them as although full, they had a table ready for us in ten minutes. I didn’t understand the menu but the young girl that served us(i believe she was Chinese?) was so helpful and friendly, as was all the staff. It was a lovely experience for us, very different. the food was really good and the service outstanding! We shall definitely be back! Thank you

The tucked-away spot felt more intimate and authentic like stumbling into a hidden gem in Seoul and added a special charm to the whole experience.The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, with staff who genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was just right. The food was excellent across the board: fresh, flavourful, and perfectly executed. Every dish we ordered hit the mark, and the Cass beers were the ideal cold, crisp accompaniment.We loved it so much we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for genuine Korean food in a relaxed, welcoming setting, Imone is a definite must-try.

Overall good Korean BBQ but again too bad not flame broiler and don’t think it’s available in UK.

The meat quality were great except the marinated pork galbi which came out more than 90% of fat. We ordered a set meal, 40 pounds per person and expected aound 120 pound for 3 ppl. However, when we got a bill it turned out 160. We asked why, they said it is for 4 ppl no matter how many ppl you are(less than 4ppl). We were not happy because we checked and asked before order and they did not say anything about it. It would be much great experience if we knew before we ordered. Enjoyed good quality meal but we felt like we got ripped off on Christmas Eve. Please be aware that the set is not per person but you need to pay 4 ppl(160 pounds)..
