A Truly Lovely Experience at Zizzi Richmond! We had such a wonderful time at Zizzi in Richmond — from the moment we stepped in, the cozy decor and warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a relaxing, inviting vibe. Everything from the lighting to the layout contributes to an effortlessly chilled ambiance. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and a special shoutout goes to our fantastic waiter, Tony. He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel even more personal. We also have to commend Toby, the chef — his cooking is absolutely phenomenal. Hailing from Hong Kong, Toby’s skills in the kitchen are second to none. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. He’s genuinely one of the best chefs we’ve come across. Even the little things stood out — the toilets were spotless and hygienic, which always adds peace of mind. Throughout the visit, I felt completely comfortable and cared for. All in all, Zizzi Richmond delivers not just great food but a thoughtfully curated experience that makes you want to return. It was perfect for our anniversary.

Had a lovely meal at Zizzi in Richmond! The restaurant has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A special shout-out to our server, Roland, who was absolutely fantastic, very attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. He made the experience feel extra special and looked after us really well throughout the meal. Great service paired with consistently good food makes this Zizzi a standout. Will definitely be back!

The whole experience was exceptional. Rolond, the manager, provided a professional, friendly and swift service, along with the food being served in a very quick manor. Would high recommend, such an amazing restaurant, vibe, service and whole experience!

We had a lovely meal and Roland made sure we were very well looked after. He engaged with our little boy as soon as we walked in and ensured we had a great evening. He even treated me and ny husband to a delicious sundae which my son said was spectacular!

I had had a wonderful dining experience at noon. Everything is exceeded our expectations. When we were sitting down, she gave us a free snacks and when we requested two glasses of tap water, the waitress was helpful and counteroffer us free hot water with lemon. Regarding the food we ordered the honey sauce with duck leg and the sea bass. Food were mouth watering and delicious. Duck leg was tender and the Sea Bass was juicy and cooked with crispy skin. When I use my phone to take a selfie, the waitress help us on her own initiative. The last but not least, when we finished and want to pay the bill, the waitress gave us two small cups of chocolate with free that made my dining experience became memorable and everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommended this restaurant to you. Zizzi Richmond 😀

The food was amazing. My daughter (13) and I shared the harissa shrimp skewer to start, then shared the salmon risotto and bolognaise Classico for mains. Absolutely brilliant. I celebrated my small wedding at this restaurant and was very pleased. The food was delicious and served promptly, the atmosphere was superb, and the service was outstanding. Our server, Maria R., was incredibly welcoming and a truly wonderful person. She happily accommodated all our requests, and to say that all our guests were satisfied would be an understatement. I'd like to especially thank the staff for the warm welcome and for making our special day a wonderful experience. Overall, everything was excellent, and I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Another good experience at Zizzi. Good food & drinks, and excellent service. Siciliana Salmon was delicious. Although on the menu, it says "finished with crispy kale", but there was no crispy kale on my dish, but the taste was still good. Sockets for charging are available. Toilets for customers are available upstairs.

I need whoever is in charge at Zizzi to read this carefully. Roland is not just a member of staff. Roland is an experience. From the second we walked in, he took control of the atmosphere in the most seamless, sophisticated way possible. Effortlessly charming. Razor-sharp attentive. Calm, confident, completely composed. It was like watching a masterclass in hospitality unfold in real time. He didn’t “take our order” — he guided us. He didn’t “check in” — he anticipated. Every interaction felt natural, intelligent and perfectly timed. Glasses refreshed before they were empty. Plates cleared with precision. Recommendations delivered with insight and personality. The pacing of the entire evening? Immaculate. And then there’s the energy. Roland has that rare, magnetic presence that makes you feel genuinely valued. Not like a customer. Like a guest. He made us feel seen, comfortable and completely looked after without ever hovering or overdoing it. That balance is incredibly hard to achieve — and he executed it flawlessly. You could place him in a fine-dining restaurant and he would dominate. You could put him in a packed Saturday-night rush and he would glide through it. There was not a single moment where he looked stressed, rushed or distracted. Pure composure. Pure professionalism. The food was fantastic — but Roland is the reason the night became memorable. He elevated a casual dinner into something that felt special. That’s not service. That’s craft. If Zizzi’s has any internal awards, he should win them. If there’s a promotion available, he deserves it. If there’s training to be done, he should be running it. Roland is the gold standard. We will be back — and it will be because of him.

Came in and staff was warm and welcoming, they were eager to let me know what was good on the menu. I had the Shropshire Chicken Milanse A chicken cutlet or chicken schnitzel with they're own twist. Mushrooms ontop, spinach under floating in a Njuda sauce which was phenomenal. Just the perfect hint of spice to give it a great kick and enjoyable flavor. I highly recommend anyone visiting Richmond to give this a try.

Our group of 3 had a great late lunch at Zizzi Richmond last week. We had spent awhile walking around the area trying to find a menu that suited everyone in our party and Zizzi fit the bill - finally! Our server was so friendly and fast. The food was some of the best we had on our trip to London. It was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Get the seasonal truffle pasta!

Molly brought high energy and personality to our service this evening. I particularly enjoyed the mini hot chocolate with the bill. A very nice touch! Thanks again!

It's been a long time since we've been to Zizzi, mainly because we weren't hugely impressed in the past. But we gave it another shot and I'm glad we did. There's plenty of options on the menu that aren't your usual fare, the rustica pizzas are enormous, we were generously given a number of freebies (the pasta crisps are incredible, and some birthday prosecco at the end was very welcome) and it was all round a great time. I have to echo what many others have said in that Roland was an incredible host - very engaging, very helpful and I know we must have been a bit annoying as guests due to various questions and a bit of an issue when we ordered the wrong item for main which was replaced with no hassle at all. He really stood out and made the evening a pleasure (I didn't catch the name of the waitress who also looked after us but she was also very good!). Thank you!

Pleasant meal at Zizzi Richmond. The seafood vongole was fresh and nicely balanced, and the truffle pasta was rich without being too heavy. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A solid choice for an easy and enjoyable dinner.

An absolutely amazing place thanks to its people working there. My little 4 year old daughter was unbelievably happy when one of the staff called her beautiful. Main course was tasty and the desert was delicious. Thank you for the great lunch!

Here visiting from across the pond. Pizza was DELICIOUS! Atmosphere was nice, quiet, peaceful. Pepperoni pizza really hit the spot after an 8 hour flight! Professional, courteous, delicious... what else is there? Definitely try out Zizzi!

Roland showed great customer service and was really helpful. We go to Richmond branch because of the staff who work there are soo welcoming! Molly was very friendly also.

Visited midweek as a group of five and had a great experience. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and offered a choice of where to sit. The wait staff were kind, friendly, and genuinely warming throughout - they really added to the experience. The complimentary pasta crisps were a lovely touch and went down very well. We ordered a selection of pastas, pizzas, and mains - all of which were delicious. The pizza tasted particularly fresh, and we appreciated the unlimited freshly grated Parmesan! Overall, excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service - will definitely be back!

Every so often me and the girls get together to talk about everything! Molly who was our waitress was amazing and very helpful with drink, food and anything else we needed! We had a great time and would recommend!

My wife is a wheelchair user and gluten free, and the staff were all very accommodating. Tony especially was super helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and fast. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Richmond.

Such a surprise! I haven’t been in a while and I feel it has improved a lot! Tony was out waiter- so polite and helpful! Charming! The tiramisu was SPECTACULAR! The pasta carbonara delicious! And we tried the chocolate fudge cake - really yummy! Will come again!

We had a great dinner experience here last night with both pasta dishes being good. However, the star of the show was the arancini balls. The service was excellent and we received free hot chocolate shots which was a lovely touch on a cold Monday evening :)

Went today on a usual Tuesday evening and Roland went above and beyond to ensure a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend coming here, it is a small restaurant but it carries an elegant and casual energy good enough to keep you coming back.

I ordered the Chilli King Prawn, in my opinion it lacked flavour and spice, something just felt missing from the dish. I feel it is also quite overpriced for what it is. The rosemary fries however were nice. They try to offset the prices by giving a small plate of nibbles and also tiny cups of hot chocolate at the end. Won't return unless there's no other option.

I was visiting Richmond for the day with my family, it was my birthday. We went to Zizzi middle of the afternoon. The restaurant was empty. To be honest I wasn’t that keen on the menu and with hindsight wish we had left before ordering. We ordered the meat ball pasta, prawn pasta and seafood pasta along with Arancini balls and calamari for starters. The food was average, the service was quick but 3 out of 4 of us had food poisoning after the meal. My elderly mother fell ill suddenly that evening with diarrhoea and vomiting, I was ill with the same symptoms the next day and my younger sister experienced gastro symptoms too. I’m certain it was the food at Zizzi, we were all fine previous to the visit. I will be contacting trading standards.
