Such a warm, cozy, and relaxed gem. The staff were incredibly kind with a fun sense of humor. Cuisine was bursting with authentic flavors and attitude. Grateful to have enjoyed a festive and quaint Christmas dinner here.

Out of all the restaurants we tried in NYC this tops everything! A true Spanish style tapas restaurant with food to absolutely die for. The octopus melted in your mouth, we have never had anchovies like this and so fresh in our lives, the paella was absolutely delicious and just the right size for a tapas style supper for two! Highly recommend this as a top choice and we cannot wait to go back!

We chose to have our family Christmas dinner at “ Addictive “. It was our first time there. We couldn’t be happier with the choice we made . A cozy atmosphere , 5 star service , delicious meals ( we tried half a dozen of items on the menu) and great selection of wine is what you fill find when you pay them a visit. An amazing hidden gem in the heart of Manhattan.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Addictive. We had reservations and thoroughly enjoyed everything. A special thank you to Patrick. The atmosphere was really nice. Patrick and staff were very friendly and efficient - they really made our dining experience even better. We enjoyed the tuna tartare, mussels and seafood paella- very very tasty!

The olives, potatoes bravad and spicy hummus were outstanding. We also had the paella, which I like with a little more saffron but overall the flavors were good and they were happy to substitute the calamari for mussels in the surf and turf paella. Good wine list. Crème Brule was very good but would like them to add flan. And not to mention the service was impeccable. Music was very appropriate which is greatly appreciated. I like a little more Spanish guitars but overall, done good selections.

Made a reservation here and I’m so happy I did. Addictive NYC is one of those rare spots that makes you forget you’re even in Midtown. You walk down a set of stairs and suddenly the noise, the crowds, the chaos is all gone. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Our waiter knew the menu and the wine list like the back of his hand, and every recommendation he made hit the mark. Speaking of the wine list it’s unreal. They have wines from all over the world and even have their own brand. Easily one of the best I’ve seen in the city, with bottles you don’t see anywhere else. The food is honestly outstanding. If I could eat here everyday I would. Every plate looked beautiful and tasted even better You can tell the kitchen here really cares about what they’re putting out. If you’re looking for a place that’s intimate, elevated, and a real break from the city madness, this is it.

We came by on a rainy Thursday night. We were a bit early for our reservation, but that didn't seem to be an issue at all, because the welcome was warm and seamless. While there isn't a traditional host stand, the service from the moment we walked in was impeccable. A special thanks to our waiter, Stefano, whose attentiveness and genuine care elevated our entire evening. He was warm, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail was just right! The atmosphere at Addictive NYC is both charming and thoughtfully designed. Floral decorations add a soft, fun, and trendy touch, line lights cast a warm glow throughout the space, and little details like corks in glass jars and wine bottles artfully lined up along the wall give it a cozy yet curated feel. The restaurant is somewhat small, but the layout is arranged in a way that doesn't feel cramped. We were spaced out enough to enjoy a relaxed dinner without feeling like we were on top of other tables. The food was absolutely phenomenal, especially for Restaurant Week. Some places don't bring their best or serve meager portions during RW, leaving you wondering why you even bothered but that wasn't the case here. Everything was done with care and full flavor. We started with two versions of the Ensalada de Setas, one without tomatoes (per my request) and one without mushrooms (per theirs). Both were earthy, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For my entrée, I had the Costillas de Cordero, which were tender and perfectly seasoned one of the best lamb dishes I've had at a NYC restaurant. It's served with a hummus I was initially skeptical about, but it was flavorful and paired wonderfully with the lamb. We ended with Torta Santiago, a traditional Spanish almond cake that was moist, subtly sweet, and a delightful way to close out the meal. Honorable mention goes to the other entrée, the salmon with roasted vegetables, which was expertly seasoned, cooked just right, and paired with fresh, vibrant veggies. You can tell there's real passion behind the food here. All paired with a shared bottle of wine. Addictive NYC truly lives up to its name. Between the incredible food, the cozy and stylish ambiance, and Stefano's top-tier hospitality, this is a place I'll absolutely return to. It's a perfect choice for a girls' night, a date night, or catching up with friends. A quick tip: since the space is small, it's best to make a reservation, especially for larger groups. Also, keep in mind that there's a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and totals are split between cash and card. Can't wait to come back!

Loved it! My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The staff was very attentive and professional. The atmosphere was very relaxing and enveloping, a rare contrast with the noise and hectic life of NYC. The food was amazing. We tried the paella, Marinera, and Meats... SO DELICIOUS! Also, we had the Burrata and Serrano salad. It was really good. They have a great variety of wines and cavas supported by Sommelier Francisco Diaz. BTW, he gave us a great recommendation for a cava. We definitely will visit this place again.

I went to this place last night with a friend of mine for restaurant week. We hadn’t heard of the place before and this right by my job. The wines and food was very fresh, the patatas were my favorite with the sauce that was drizzled on it. The service was great, loved the hospitality and if you want to take you gals or perhaps a date, this cozy nook is a great place to come to. I recommend!

This place was very enjoyable. The servers accommodated us without a reservation and were extremely attentive and friendly. The decor was amazing, the sangria was delicious, and the theater prix fixe menu was quite good for NYC prices.

I visited this cute tapas restaurant in midtown Manhattan that doesn't come with the hefty midtown price tag. I opted for the restaurant week menu and was pleased to find that the same dishes are offered on the regular menu. The avocado tuna tartare and the lamb chops were delicious! The tartare had just the right amount of avocado and tuna, and the lamb chops were incredibly tender. I was so full after enjoying these two dishes that I barely had room for dessert. The wine list was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Happy hour is from 4-6pm with plenty of tapas. I can't wait to go back again!

Another nice surprise access from the Hilton Garden Inn. It was our anniversary dinner and this place rocked. Such a cool little place with good vibe. The service was great and the food was excellent. We started with calamari. The shrimp gambas were sooo good. Dip the bread in the sauce for extra goodness. We loved the mixed paella, so flavorful. The potatas bravas were nice, but I always love the tortillas. The chicken tapas were good, but not our favorite…….very cinnamony. The chorizo dish was very good, but Smokey. My wife thought the smoke was a bit much. The salmon dish was delicious. Loved this meal!

The spot where my fave Turkish spot Akdeniz once stood now is home to a new tapas spot and thankfully it did not disappoint! The space was beautifully decorated to almost feel like you were under a shaded canopy in some alleyway in a Spanish courtyard. Staff was very warm and kind and I appreciated our waiting suggestion that we are ordering too much so do a round 2 instead. Each dish was presented nicely and everything was flavorful and not under seasoned. Stand outs for me and my guests were the Camarones Al Ajillo: generous portion of large shrimp sauted in a ton of garlic, the albodigas: the meatballs were nicely seasoned and the tomato sauce was a perfect balance for them, pan de tomate: different from the usual version served in Spain since that is a piece of toasty bread with fresh garlic clove rubbed on it and then tomato almost smashed on top with some salt. This version was more of a warm Italian bruschetta with chunks of garlic chunks dotted between the chunks of marinated tomatoes; the cheese platter again was beautifully presented and generally portioned and we loved how perfectly the paella rice was cooked where the grains were not mushy and not too crunchy but this one was a bit on the saltier side; their tortilla Espanola was divine! It's located in Little Brazil, smack in the heart of Midtown east off of 5th Ave so a great spot to meet up for a date or a group happy hour or dinner. Space is TINY so reservations are recommended. I will be back!

Casual and cozy Spanish tapas and paella restaurant that's ornately decorated. Happy hour offers $9 wine. The tempranillo red was very good. Their cheese plate served decent portions and their garlic shrimp and hummus was also good. Recommend for casual dining that won't hurt your wallet too much.

My husband and I are frequent visitors of Spain, and we had our Valentine’s Day dinner here. My only food criticism is the size of the lamb cuts we were served, but every dish was absolutely sensational in terms of flavor. I think we also had a miscommunication with the waiter and we were only sent one fixed dinner rather than 2, and since our dinner was timed, we figured there wasn’t much point in asking for the second meal to be made; but it was lovely nonetheless. The burrata and smoked salmon & goat cheese dishes were amazing. My husband LOVED the hummus paired with the lamb; It was so light and decadent. Every dish felt fresh and the style of the room was classy and warm. I would have loved a warmer location away from the constant door breeze, but there is still no corner of this restaurant that isn’t beautiful to look at. My table probably should be the cut off point because we spent the entire dinner with incoming guests standing next to us. It was a busy holiday, so with that in mind, the restaurant did pretty well and I would absolutely go again!

All in all a great experience! We were very fortunate to have this place a block away from our hotel, and we were utterly charmed by the space and the decor. The food was very good and surprisingly reasonably priced for the location and atmosphere… portions small, of course, but three of us had an ample meal with wine for basically $100, which feels like a bargain these days. Great find!

This place is over the top decorated for the holidays, but the noise is where the ambiance fails. It is easily 85-89 decibels in there, to the point of me getting a headache. The paella is more like a chicken fried rice, it was burnt on the bottom, and the portion is small for the price. We had a potato appetizer that was like a big jojo with a spicy sauce on top.

RYT

Tacky and overdone inexpensive floral decor throughout the restaurant. The food did not live up to hype, service was sub par, our appetizer dishes were left on table for a long while before it was picked up, many tables asking for water multiple times. Portions were small, especially the paella which was burned on the bottom. Wine pour was small. Our LED light was running out of batteries and the waiters didn’t not seem to notice or care. Mushroom Flatbread was soggy. In addition to being burnt the rind on the lemon on top of the paella was dried out which speaks to how old the lemon might has been. We wanted to love this place but just wasn’t what we hoped for.

Addictive? Hardly. Environment was beautifully decorated for Christmas. When I arrived for my reservation I was asked to wait and there was no bar so I was just standing there for 10 minutes. Without exaggeration, it was 200 million degrees kelvin in there. Everyone was roasting. The menu was fairly limited and the food was all crazy acidic. Between the heartburn and shvitzing, I couldn’t get comfortable. Oh - and we were told when we sat down there was an hour and half time limit on our table (which didn’t help with the shvitzing). Gee whiz. I will not be returning.

From someone who’s been to Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Costa Rica, DR, the Virgin Islands, and other Mediterranean destinations, I was disappointed with this Spanish restaurant. Although this place looks stunning when you first walk in (the lighting makes for a wonderful ambiance and the decor adds brilliant charm) the food and service is poor. My mom and I came here for dinner after a day trip to the city and we were captivated by the place when we first walked in. We were sat fairly quickly and told to scan the QR code for the menu and were then directed to pictures of every menu item which made us salivate. My mom ordered the lamb over hummus and tomatoes while I took the paella mixta. We shared the burratta with Serrano ham over arugula which we both agreed was quite appetizing. When it came to to our entrees, my mom thought hers was cooked 20 minutes before mine because the whole dish was cold. The lamb, which was actually very tender and delicious, did not pair well with the cold hummus and tomatoes. By the time it came to the table, the lamb was cold and my mom asked if that was normal. I ordered the paella mixto which I DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE TO ORDER PAELLA HERE! It was incredibly bland and lacked so many flavors that are essential to classic paella I’ve had in dozens of other restaurants around the world. I think the owner/ chef should go to don pepe or seabras in Newark to get some inspiration for their paella. Additionally, a great tapas spot near me that this restaurant may gain some inspiration from is xunta in Caldwell, Nj. And I forgot to mention, my mom and I both felt incredibly sick and had to rush to the bathroom about an hour after leaving here.
