The crowd waiting outside shows this place has earned its following. The menu prices reflect good value. Personnel are remarkably accommodating. The kitchen delivers excellence without charging extra. The spot provides a special experience.
We have had our private event at this lovely restaurant. we used the main dining room area for a party of 46 of us. The menu was excellent with a great variety of meats and chickens and seafood, along with some vegetarian items. The staff has made us very comfortable and brought each cocktail and meal on time. The space is excellent for private events and small gatherings. Entire office loved everything.
Such a lovely spot to meet up with a friend or go on a date! The food was absolutely delicious starting with the sampler that included hummus, labneh, and tzatziki. Everything was super fresh and clearly homemade! We had the lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves, and shared a mixed grill platter. When I tell you that this was one of the best Mediterranean dinners I’ve had in the states!! The Turkish Coffee martini was to die for 🤤 The staff was extremely attentive and aware of when to check in on us versus when to let us just enjoy our conversation and chill. I can’t wait to come back!
Our office recently had the pleasure of experiencing a truly remarkable catering service from a Turkish culinary gem. The excitement and delight that filled the office when the catering arrived were palpable, and from the first bite to the last, it was clear that we were in for a treat. With its mouthwatering hummus, succulent chicken kebabs, and an impressive spread that catered to a gathering of 120 people, this Turkish catering restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. The star of the catering was undoubtedly the hummus. Creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, it captured the essence of traditional Turkish cuisine. The smooth texture and subtle hint of garlic made each spoonful a delightful experience. Paired with freshly baked pita bread, it was an irresistible combination that had everyone reaching for more. The hummus was undoubtedly the highlight of the menu, earning rave reviews from all who indulged in its delectable creaminess. Another standout from the catering was the chicken kebabs. Tender, juicy, and expertly grilled, they were an instant crowd favorite. The marinated chicken was infused with a symphony of flavors, creating a tantalizing combination of spices and herbs that elevated the dish to new heights. Each bite was a succulent explosion of taste, leaving everyone craving for more. The chefs had clearly mastered the art of preparing chicken kebabs that were both visually appealing and undeniably delicious. The catering as a whole was a sight to behold. With a spread meticulously prepared for 120 people, it showcased the culinary expertise and attention to detail of the Turkish catering restaurant. The variety of dishes catered to all tastes and preferences, ensuring that there was something to please everyone. From the fragrant rice pilaf to the vibrant and fresh salads, each component of the meal was thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the rich and diverse flavors of Turkish cuisine. Beyond the extraordinary food, the catering service was impeccable. The restaurant's team arrived punctually, setting up the display with precision and care. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. They were attentive to our needs, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of and had a memorable dining experience. The efficient and seamless execution of the catering left a lasting impression on our office, and we were grateful for the exceptional service provided. In conclusion, the service we received was nothing short of exceptional. The hummus and chicken kebabs were the stars of the show, captivating our taste buds and leaving us yearning for more
❤️ A warm staff, cultured environment, and delicious food. An experience to be enjoyed. The pita bread is more like sour dough bread; filled with taste and aroma. Unlike the usual plain white flour pita. The Vegetarian stew was wonderful, the rice flavored, the food unique… and delicious. Come before 6pm if you prefer a certain table. Groups of 4 to 8 stream in after 6pm. Near Times Square, a short walk to NY great fun; see enclosed examples. If you want a great vacation, visit Turkey. We visited Istanbul’s 3,000 shop market, played cards (Rummy) at a local soccer sports club, travelled to other cities, and the Turkish side of Cyprus. Turkey’s people are wonderful and our trip was filled with their unique history. This restaurant and its staff are an example of their wonderful culture.
One of the best Turkish restaurant I have visited. They had amazing decor and the outdoor patio was very cute. The prices were very affordable compared to other locations in Midtown Manhattan. I felt very comfortable dining there as all the staff had masks on including the chefs, hand sanitizers in all parts of the restaurant.
I love Antalia Restaurant. I love the fact it's halal, has moderate prices and very close to Times Square and Rockefeller center. I love the fresh bread they serve along with pureed olives with olive oil or olive sauce (I'm not sure what it is). Food is delicious. They serve coffee and tea in very cute Turkish cups. See the photos I uploaded. FYI A bottle water could be price there.
I went to that restaurant after taking a long walk in the city and I was starving and looking for any halal restaurants around to have my lunch, I found this restaurant in Google maps and decided to try it first as it was the closest one to me. I went there and when I saw the old umbrella that has their restaurant name, I felt like it won't be a good place to eat at. But the surprise 😲 was when I went into the place and saw how clean and wide and look luxurious it is, it wowed me from the first look :) And then, I said maybe it's too expensive to afford eating at it. But again, prices are very reasonable and something that almost everyone can afford to pay for. The amazing part was the food itself, I ordered chicken chips and basmati rice, my friend ordered smoked salmon with rice. OMG, it was fabulous and so delicious, I've never eaten delicious chicken like that taste before. It cooked I believe with copper and grilled so deep. It tastes a heaven to me lol I will definitely go there again and again anytime I'm in Manhattan. That was a good experience especially for the nice staff there and their warm welcoming. Finally, the place is neat and clean, the portraits that they hang there are so expressive and match with the atmosphere there.
i ordered the iskender kebab and it was delicious. the quality of the meat was great and price was actually lower than i expected. definitely coming back.
Antalia, a Turkish restaurant close to Times Square, impressed me with its diverse menu, catering from vegetarian to seafood lovers. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine, enhancing the overall experience. The restaurant's cleanliness added to its appeal, making it a standout choice for a delightful Turkish dining experience in the heart of the city. MUST TASTE FROM THE AMAZING MENU ! :)
Went here for my dad’s birthday, it was great. Authentic Turkish cuisine and amazing service. Hope to return sooner than later.
While on our trip to New York City, we have dined at this lovely restaurant, and the entire family loved all the food and the presentation of all the dishes. The food was certainly something to remember, as it was filled with fresh ingredients and beautiful spices. This will be something worth visiting. Plenty more times to come.
5 stars all the way!! I recently dined in Antalia and had a fantastic experience. The lamb shish kebab entree was a succulent delight, perfectly seasoned and grilled. To top it off, the tiramisu cheesecake was a heavenly treat. The service was exceptionally friendly, adding warmth to the overall enjoyable evening. Oh you have to try the Turkish coffee, love the presentation.
Fantastic food and staff. We took our colleague here for a birthday brunch and couldn't have been happier. Food was delicious and super fresh. Large portions we took some back to the office with us. Highly recommend dining in and experiencing it all and how they present the food.
I’ve been to many Turkish restaurant in the city but this has to be one of my favorite ones I’ve tried couple of their appetizers and their shepherd salad which was amazing and very well seasoned! Being a native Turk I know how this food should taste like and it was no different then the food in Turkey. I was happy to meet couple of their servers which were very lovely people and like doing their job with enthusiasm. The place isnt so loud either, i enjoyed my time listening to soft turkish music with a little mix of other Mediterranean music they played. Highly recommend making a reservation as i saw them pack up really quickly.
Very nice place with amazing food. Just servers need to learn to ask company people or couple friends how they pay (together or separately) before they bring the receipt to the table. Other than that everything is good This establishment offers an exceptional dining experience with delectable cuisine. However, it would be beneficial for the servers to enhance their communication skills by inquiring with company representatives or close friends about their preferred payment method (together or separately) before presenting the receipt. Apart from this minor oversight, the overall dining experience is commendable.
First time going to this restaurant and it was so worth it! I saw the guy holding the sign on 45th and 5th Ave. The service provided is amazing they're welcoming and explain the lunch special. Customer service is fantastic! Food is delicious! I ordered a lunch special with Chicken kebab and hummus. Packaging for take out is superb with everything you need. I will be coming back again!
We (4 women) went there for lunch. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was friendly and patient. The fried calamari and Turkish bread was steaming hot and fresh. The red lentil soup was great too. Lamb shish kebab was little dry and was cooked more like beef than lamb. The restaurant itself was very clean and atmosphere was very pleasant
Absolutely wonderful experience at this Turkish restaurant! The fillet of bronzino was impeccably cooked, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving delicious Turkish cuisine served with top-notch service in a welcoming environment.
I brought my friend here to try their lunch menu and, boy, were we stuffed and satisfied at the end haha. We barely had room for dessert! The lunch special portions are great, and since the food is homemade and healthy, it left us feeling very full without feeling heavy and groggy. First, they brought us bread with a few spreads. You know a restaurant is going to be good when they even put effort into making their bread delicious. It was stuffed with herbs, and had a beautiful golden brown crust with a light, fluffy inside. My favorite spread was the Pink Sultan spread which I ordered as my appetizer. It's made of beets, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and Turkish herbs. It's quite unique. I've never seen that at any other Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant before. It's slightly sweeter and richer than yogurt dip alone. My friend got the fried calamari as his appetizer. It was crispy and the "chef's special" tartar sauce was delicious. I got the baby okra cassarole as my entree. It's a dish of sauteed baby okras cooked in tomato sauce. The tomato sauce really tastes like it's homemade. There were maybe two okra pieces that were too fibrous and tough to chew, but it didn't ruin the experience. It was a minor thing. The other okras in the cassarole were perfect. I would consider ordering this dish again. For dessert, we shared a plate of baklava. It was flaky and so sweet. The Turkish tea was smooth and just bitter enough to complement the sweetness of the dessert. Last but not least, the service was fantastic. Every was so welcoming and nice to us. You can tell that they really care and that they're passionate about what they do.
The servers handle busy periods without sacrificing quality. The employees make an effort to form personal connections. All my selections demonstrate flavor. The restaurant deserves stronger compliments than I know. You've hooked us!
Finding this Turkish restaurant in midtown Manhattan was like finding gold. The seafood selection was a standout, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful options like Bronzino and Salmon fillet. The cocktails were extra delicious, adding a unique twist to the dining experience. Although some of us tried the Turkish wine Ancyra, which was surprisingly great. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. The attentive staff further enhanced the overall enjoyment.
Just one block away from 5th Avenue, AnTalia is a Turkish restaurant that captures the essence of Istanbul's vibrant culinary scene. The restaurant's spacious outdoor patio immediately captivates with its inviting ambiance. Surrounded by verdant foliage and adorned with Turkish-inspired decor, it provides a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. As someone hailing from Istanbul, I couldn't help but be transported back to the flavors of my home town when I dined at AnTalia. The food here is an authentic representation of Turkish cuisine, with dishes that closely resemble the ones I grew up savoring. From the juicy kebabs cooked to perfection to the fragrant pilaf and flavorful mezes, each bite takes you on a delightful journey through Istanbul's culinary delights. One of the highlights of my visit was the personal touch of the owner. With genuine warmth and enthusiasm, the owner took the time to come to our table and share the rich history of the restaurant. It was a pleasure to hear about the passion that drives AnTalia and the dedication to preserving the authenticity of Turkish cuisine. The attentive staff further elevated the dining experience, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. From providing recommendations to promptly attending to our requests, their hospitality was second to none.
We had a fantastic experience at Antalia NYC! The ambiance was spot-on—great music, low-key vibes, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We started with the hummus, olives, and labneh—all fresh and full of flavor. The warm bread they served with the dips was absolutely amazing and worth mentioning on its own. For mains, we had the sautéed lamb and the veggie burger. The lamb was tender and well-seasoned, and the veggie burger was hearty and satisfying. Dessert and coffee were true highlights: the Turkish vanilla ice cream had a unique texture unlike anything I’ve tried before—stretchy, creamy, and delicate. And the Turkish coffee was served in a stunning traditional metal cup with a velvet base, making it feel like a little ritual to end the night. If you’re near Midtown and in the mood for delicious Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine, Antalia is a gem.
The best Ali Nazik you can ever eat in the states (we’re visiting from the Westside and trust me when I say we tried every Turkish restaurant between the coasts). We loved the Mantı and the complementary Turkish bread as well. Chicken soup was another great option✨ Great service, the servers are very attentive. Overall, lovely experience, will come back when we visit again.
We went with my family for a friday dinner. The pre fix dinner menú was great and affordable. 3 course dinner for $45 was an excellent deal.
I had a great experience at this Turkish restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. The Manti was a standout—delicate dumplings filled with savory goodness and topped with a tangy yogurt sauce. The Sangria was refreshing and paired well with the meal. To top it all off, the homemade fresh baklava was a delicious treat—crispy, sweet, and authentic. The atmosphere was cozy, and the servers were super friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot to check out for tasty and %100 authentic Turkish food!
This has to be one of my favorite places to dine. I have tried them for dine in and catering services. Food is always sensational, everything felt like it was prepped especially just for me! The quality is incomparable to other Mediterranean restaurants, the meats and all the veggies used are top notch.
I tried the chicken kebab and it was juicy and well seasoned. You can tell they care about consistency. Prices are fair for the area and the portions are filling.
We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were looking for a place to eat and had stopped to figure it out. I turned and saw this place and said "what about here?" We went in and apparently, you need reservations but they were kind and sat us anyway. I don't recall the dish that we ordered but we ordered two and it was plenty for the five of us to share. The food was delicious! It was the best we ate the whole trip!
I booked Antalia for a private dinner to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and it was a great decision. The staff helped with every detail, from the seating arrangement to the timing of the courses. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere felt warm and intimate.
My wife and I came to this restaurant after work and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! The staff was really nice and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. It was very nice inside and we went around 4pm so it wasn’t busy, they are usually packed after 5pm. They food was well priced, and tasted soo good ! I definitely would recommend coming here!
The staff really knows how to make guests feel welcome. From the moment we walked in to the end of the meal, everything felt thoughtful and well paced.
We hosted a private event at Antalia for a birthday dinner, and everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the space was beautifully set up, and the food came out fresh and fast. All of our guests were impressed. Highly recommend for any special occasion!
We used Antalia’s catering for a team lunch and it couldn’t have gone better. The catering setup was on time, organized, and the food was still hot. Everyone loved the chicken adana and hummus. Definitely one of the best catering experiences we’ve had!
Walked in after a long day at work and this place completely changed my mood. Cozy atmosphere, friendly faces, and food that tastes like it was cooked with care. A solid Midtown gem.
Great food, service, and decor! Everything was delicious, from the strawberry mojito to the beef over eggplant. Nice to just walk into a place and find unexpected fabulousness!
We made a dinner reservation and went with the prix-fixe. The atmosphere was calm, the kitchen looked clean and organized, and the food was excellent. The tea at the end made it feel complete.

This place feels like a little break from the city chaos. Good music, cozy vibe, and food that makes you slow down and enjoy your meal. Highly recommend stopping by.
We hosted a small private dinner here and everything went smoothly. The staff was attentive, the setup was comfortable, and the food came out on time and hot. Perfect for group dining.
We had the most incredible catering experience for our event of 20 people! From the appetizers to the main dishes and desserts, everything was absolutely delicious. The delivery was right on time, and they even went the extra mile by providing beautifully designed name cards for each dish, which made the setup look so polished. The food was a hit with all our guests, and we couldn’t have been happier with the entire process. If you’re looking for top-notch catering that wows, this is the place! We’ll definitely be back for more!
We used Antalia for their catering services for office lunch and it was a fantastic experience. The food arrived on time, packed neatly, and everything was still warm. The Chicken Shish Kebab and hummus were big hits, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The gold package had great variety, Everyone was impressed and asked where it was from. We’ll definitely be ordering again!
I recently dined at a Turkish restaurant in Midtown with friends from out of town, and it was a delightful experience! The lamb options were fantastic, with fresh flavors that transported us to the Mediterranean. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly. A must-visit for lamb lovers seeking a taste of Turkey in the heart of Midtown! Cant wait to go back to this gem of a spot.
Came for lunch, stayed longer than planned because we were enjoying ourselves too much. The staff was genuinely kind and the food disappeared faster than expected. Always a good sign.
Antalia’s catering service was fantastic from start to finish. The food arrived right on time, everything was labeled clearly, and the quality was outstanding. Our guests couldn’t get enough of the lamb gyro and rice. We’ll definitely use their catering again! Ps: The catering manager Sergio was an exceptional help!
I visited Antalia with a group of my friends, and had an outstanding experience at this Turkish restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The immaculate restrooms showcased their commitment to cleanliness. The seafood selection was truly impressive, offering a delightful array of flavors. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The overall atmosphere was inviting, and the attentive staff made the visit memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a combination of cleanliness, superb seafood, and fantastic cocktails in the heart of the city!
Found this delightful place by accident on a recent visit to NYC. Service was exceptional, food was amazing and so fresh and the sangria was delicious. Our waiter even brought us a complimentary sample of their pumpkin pistachio dessert which was tasty and not overly sweet in a honey sauce. My first time having Mediterranean/ Turkish food but will certainly not be my last. A real hidden gem in NYC
Please proceed with caution; the food is addictive! I wanted to take the time out to share with the world my experience at this lovely establishment. For starters, Josh (the waiter) greeted me and directed me to my table. I then was able to take in the restaurant's surroundings and was amazed at the ambiance before me. Next, Josh comes over and introduces himself to me. Charming, outgoing, well-spoken, professional guy. I inform him that I'm a Pescatarian, and he then gave me a lot of seafood options to try. Now, I'm scanning the menu and saw so many delicious items. I then asked about their Calamari because I am a big fan of deep-fried Calamari. He then proceeds to go into details, and I was sold. I ordered a Turkish espresso shot and a bottle of Pellegrino sparkling water. As I am waiting for my food, Josh and I chatted here and there. Next, the food has arrived. When I took my first bite into the Calamari, my whole life changed before my eyes. The first bite was something I've never experienced before. I had to get Josh's attention and ask what is in this batter? I've tried Calamari at many restaurants but NEVER like this. Each bite hit me with a burst of flavors every time I chewed into the food. It even made me feel warm inside. And to be honest with you, tears did form in my eyes because I was in calamari heaven. I then knew I came to the right place; I expressed my feelings and emotions when it came to how satisfied I was at that very moment. Josh was so shocked at the way I was reacting over food, yes food. I love food! Ha, after my lunch, I promised Josh that I would be back to try another seafood item on the menu. And I did just that the next day. On this day, I believe I ordered the Crab cakes, and boy, ole boy, they melted in my mouth. The warmth, flavors, butter, the lump crab meat was just what I needed. Now that's day 2 of complete satisfaction. I still didn't get enough of the restaurant and decided to try every item on the menu because I was in town for a month, and my hotel was about five blocks away. Day after day, I tried something new on the menu. I even got a chance to meet the owner of the restaurant named Sergio. What a fantastic guy he is. Meeting him and Josh was the most exciting part of my trip. Throughout my dining, Josh and Sergio were able to convince me to try their dessert. Now, I am no big fan of dessert, and I declined. But Josh didn't take no for an answer, so he asked me to try their rice pudding, and it was great. I never liked rice pudding before, but Josh changed my perspective on rice pudding. Thank you, Josh! I even tried other desserts they had, and I was just a happy man. Now, time is winding down, and my birthday is approaching. I visited the restaurant that weekend before my birthday and ordered their sea bass entree, and when I bite into it, I felt happy once more. To sum things about my experience at this restaurant, I would rate it five stars for EVERYTHING. To Josh, Sergio, and the entire staff, THANK YOU and know that I have much love for the restaurant. Please note that I will always visit your beautiful restaurant anytime I am in New York City. You all made my entire trip with the excellent service and delicious food. I'll be back soon, my friends. Billy B. March 2021- April 2021 trip to New York City.
Dinner here was a pleasant surprise. The prix fixe menu offered plenty of options and everything was cooked properly. Great value for a Midtown restaurant.
The service was amazing. The food got out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The waiters and servers were extremely nice. There were a lot of gluten-free and vegan options. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff and service, Came in hungry and left very happy. The bread was warm, the dips were dangerous in the best way, and the staff made us laugh the whole time. Definitely coming back next time we are near Times Square.
Stopped here to eat after a matinee show and was glad we did! The food was fresh, delicious and the menu has a lot of options if you have vegans in your party. The soups especially the red lentil and mezza dips are delicious. My husband had the liver & onions and he loved it. I had a grilled calimari salad and salmon steamed in grape leaves which was very good. Service is great. We will definitely be returning
I recently had the chance to try out Antalia restaurant, which is just a stone's throw away from Times Square. Honestly, it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. As for the food, I was really impressed with the quality. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, clearly made with care. It’s always nice to find a place that balances taste and presentation so well. Plus, the staff was friendly and attentive, which just added to the overall positive vibe. If you’re in the Times Square area and looking for a nice meal, I’d definitely recommend checking out Antalia. It’s a lovely little gem that I can see myself going back to!
Been here twice, tried a combination of appetizers and the mixed grill. They were all excellent. I loved the fact that the restaurant was so clean, ambiance was also very open wide and cozy. I saw that they were promoting catering, will be sure to order on my birthday.
We recently used Antalia for catering a family gathering and everything was spot on. The meats were incredibly juicy, especially the chicken shish, lamb shish and Turkish gyro. You could tell they were grilled fresh and not sitting around. The sides were just as good, and the whole spread looked beautiful on the table. Our guests kept going back for seconds. We’ll definitely be using their catering again! ❤️
Antalia NYC is a fantastic spot for lunch and dinner! I constantly find myself visiting again due to the atmosphere, staff, food, and design. It's clean and very well-kept. The menu is excellent-fresh, flavorful, and consistently well prepared. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and everything tastes homemade and thoughtfully seasoned. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, which makes the dine-in experience smooth and pleasant. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality experience in the area.
I visited this restaurant several times throughout the month, and every visit had its own special touch. I tried the chicken, lamb, and seafood dishes, and all of them were absolutely delicious. Honestly, they were even better than what I’ve had back in Türkiye, truly authentic flavors. The prix-fixe dinner menu is also an incredible value. For $44.95, you get a three-course dinner that includes coffee and Turkish tea, which makes it feel like a complete and satisfying dining experience. Definitely a place I keep coming back to
Catering from Antalia was the highlight of our event. The portions were generous, everything was labeled clearly, and the setup was so professional. It made hosting so much easier. Would absolutely use their catering again!
We used Antalia for catering our holiday team lunch and it was flawless. The food arrived hot, beautifully presented, and right on time. Everyone complimented the flavors and even took leftovers home. Best catering we’ve had in a long time!
We had such a great experience at Antalia. The ambience was warm and inviting, especially during the holidays with the beautiful Christmas decor, and everything felt spotless and well cared for. The staff was genuinely friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. We have also used them for catering and a private event in the past, and both were seamless and very well organized, with generous portions and consistently delicious food. It’s rare to find a place that delivers the same quality for dine in, events, and catering while still keeping pricing fair and reasonable. This is one of those restaurants you keep coming back to and confidently recommend to friends and colleagues.
Had the prix-fixe dinner with friends and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The appetizer, entree, and dessert were all presented beautifully. I finished with Turkish tea which made it feel like a complete dining experience. Would definitely return.
I was trying to find a bar on a Friday night but so many other bars in the area were packed and loud. I saw the sign for margaritas outside of Antalia, and could see that the bar was chill, so that's what drew me in. I had 2 delicious sangria's, while my friend has 2 mocktails. We love that the menu included both. We were able to relax, drink, talk, and enjoy the videos they had playing over the bar, which were showing really cool travel destinations in Europe. It was everything I was hoping for and the general manager was really attentive and friendly. He talked with us for a bit and then gave us a treat of the best baclava I've had in my life, so I immediately ordered some to take home! It was a great experience and my friend and I decided that if that baclava is that good, we're going back for food next time!
Visited Antalia on Thanksgiving Day right after enjoying the parade, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The servers were nothing short of amazing — even with the restaurant packed to the brim, the service was immaculate. They treated us with the same care and attention you’d expect on a slow day. The food was delicious, with plenty of options for kids and vegetarians, and the décor kept the little ones entertained. I truly want to thank the entire staff for serving us on a national holiday and doing it with a smile the whole time. I will 100% be back!
We ordered catering from Antalia for a small family gathering and were really happy with everything. The portions were generous, the food was flavorful, and it arrived right on time. The lamb gyro and babaghanoush were everyone’s favorites. Everything was fresh and well-packed. Would absolutely order again!
Alauddin – A true taste of Asia! I was really impressed by this restaurant! From the moment you walk into Alauddin, you’re welcomed by warm hospitality and the amazing aroma of authentic Asian spices. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavor, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend the best dishes on the menu. I tried several options, and each one had its own unique, delicious taste — you can really feel the passion behind the cooking. A perfect spot for a cozy dinner or a night out with friends. Highly recommended for anyone who loves
AnTalia NYC is such a gem in the heart of Midtown! The food is absolutely delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for amazing Turkish/Mediterranean food in New York, this is definitely the spot to go. Highly recommended
I jadore this restaurant. It's beautiful inside. From the lighting to the sconces, to the marble bathroom. Greatest customer service. Its been on my bucket list to go eat here for years. The housemade Turkish bread is the best bread in nyc. The olive oil and seasoning was superb. The seasonings here are fresh. I ordered hummus that was vibrant and fresh 😋. I ordered red beet spread. This was my favorite. Creamy and beautiful. Spicy veggie dip. That was bold and mild spice. Very good. My friends favorite was the red lentil ball (vegan). The flavors and textures amazing. We ordered the iskender lamb kabob and chicken shish kabobs. Nice warm pita. Juicy fresh meats. Outstanding. We ended with the best dessert rice pudding with a burnt creme brule. Highly recommend and tea service. The lunch special is $27.95 and worth every penny. The white sangria is the best i ever had and watermelon margarita delicious. Tasted so refreshing. Everything is so colorful. Reminded me of Istanbul.
At this restaurant, we tried hummus, haydari, stuffed grape leaves, lentil balls, salad, İskender, cocktails, and baklava with ice cream. For me, the hummus and stuffed grape leaves were flavors you could probably find anywhere, but not every place makes haydari this delicious. My friend felt the same way about the lentil balls. We also loved how fresh their salads were. But the real surprise came with the İskender. As a Turk, I had never been able to find the authentic taste of döner meat in America but I think that just changed. Its crispiness and flavor really amazed me. And then came dessert: baklava filled with pistachios, paired with rich Maraş ice cream and strawberries a true feast 🤤 Special thanks to our waiter Ali and the owner of the restaurant for their warm hospitality and great conversation. I’ve finally found the perfect place to host a Turkish Day for international students in New York🥰
Just what I needed. I had not eaten all day, barely had any water, and was riding scooters around Central Park all day. We tried to eat at the vegan place across the street but they had just closed the dining room. I needed to sit, relax, drink lots of water, and eat delicious food. My wife said she thought this restaurant (Antalia) looked good with clearly marked vegan items on the menu out front. They brought out a pitcher of water (no ice) and we drank it in a couple minutes. They started bringing ice water out after that which was even better. Then they surprised us with a basket of bread that was fantastic. We asked for a second and they brought us a hot one out! I asked if it was vegan and they said yes. I ordered the falafel entree, wife had the falafel appetizer, oldest had the doner kebab, and youngest had the chicken shish kebab. We all liked our food. Falafel was very flavorful. I got fries because the rice in the entree is not vegan. The menu does a great job showing what's vegan, vegetarian, and not on one side . But doesn't have that info on the entree side. Thankfully they let me order the falafel entree with fries instead of rice. My wife enjoyed her falafel appetizer, it was similar to my entree, just smaller and without the side. Both the kids liked their kebabs. The youngest absolutely loved his, he said he's never had chicken so juicy. Service was excellent, everyone was incredibly nice and did a great job keeping the water available. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time and the bread was a bonus. We had a nice conversation with our server from Turkey. Really nice guy and gave us some food recommendations for the future. Not even food they serve there, but a Turkish pizza called lahmacun. He showed us on his phone and I took a pic to remember the name. It was expensive, $100 for the four of us but that's pretty standard for a nice sit down meal here in the middle of NYC. Good thing I don't live here!
We celebrated one of our best friend’s wedding and birthday over a lovely lunch here, and it couldn’t have been more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was fresh and flavorful. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Looking back at our photos, it’s clear how much we all enjoyed it — smiling faces, great food, and good vibes all around. Definitely a place we’d recommend and come back to!
This is one of my favorite Turkish spots in New York city. I order the food online and never had an issue with it time wise. The food is amazing, especially with the Turkish bread. The dessert also is great, especially the Baklava. I'm glad I found this gem close to my work. The only downside is that I have to work harder at the gym now because I can't resist their food and the big portion it comes with 😆
Very good and I thought the servers were all very nice. The kebab platter was full and plenty. Very good flavors. Bread was sourdough, not pita which was a little weird. Grape leaves were kind of sweet? (I've have millions of grape leaves and these were not to my liking) DEFINITELY GET THE TURKISH TEA!! Such a great way to end the dinner.
It was my first time trying Turkish food. I am a very picky eater but I am always willing to trying new foods. My friend and I had a full appetizer spread with bread but the dishes that stood out to me were the Baba Ganoush (made of eggplant) and the pink sultan (a red beets spread). I am not a huge fan of beets but it was prepared different from what I am used to, it was very creamy. The Baba Ganoush had such great flavor and was a great compliment to the bread. The Turkish bread was crunchy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. It was very addicting, I couldn't get enough of it. I've never liked hummus but my friend is a fan and said it was her favorite of the appetizer spread. For drinks we had Red Sangria which was full of different fruits, I enjoyed it. For our entree we opted for the Salmon in Vine Leaves and Chicken Shish Kebab. The salmon and chicken were flavorful and very juicy. It was suggested by Sergio to eat our dessert with tea which isn't something I am used to. We had baklava which tastes as its ingredients which are pistachios and honey. It was good but was a little too textured for my liking. I also don't like pumpkin so I didn't enjoy the pumpkin dessert as a pumpkin lover would. On the other hand, I fell in love with their Turkish tea and its presentation. Overall I had a good experience at this restaurant. The presentation of every dish shows that they pay attention to detail. The staff was attentive and made me feel welcomed. Hopefully next time I can try their Gyros and rice pudding!
Nice and empty. Greeted by a male and then other males seated us. Pleasant. Nothing overt. The decor, the colors and the music was delightful. We forgot where we were. The waiter was attentive and made good recommendations. The cherry juice was delish The falafel was different The entree.. chicken kebab over rice with salad and veggies was flavorful and portion size was good. Ditto for the “mixed” entree which came with various meats. The bill was kind of expensive but were aware of the price beforehand. Besides inflation and the location… it’s NYC!
The restaurant has a balcony level on which you can dine. I started off with their hummus appetizer ($11.00), which came with pita bread. The hummus was mild in flavor, and I was disappointed as a result of that. Their Turkish meatballs ($25.50) were delicious, cooked medium, as I had asked. It comes with your choice of two items. I have photographed one side of their blue awning, the other side does not offer easy viewing. That is because the Citadines hotel's awning, next to the restaurant, blocks easy viewing needed for the purpose of finding the restaurant easily.
We dropped by for dinner on a weekday and were seated immediately but it did fill up as we were eating. We started with turkish bread (complimentary) and falafel. In my opinion the falafel was too dry but the flavor was there. The hummus was delicious and so was the bread. For entrees we got Chicken Adana and Mixed Grill. Both entrees did not disappoint. The serving is plenty and the dessert was so delicious. Best tiramisu I have ever had. Highly recommend the baklava since it’s a classic and also made perfectly here!! Oh and the service was impeccable. The waiters are so attentive and friendly!
Today is the Thanksgiving Day. Our visit to Antalia in New York was a complete disappointment. To start, we ordered tea while looking through the menu — a simple, basic request. But that’s where the problems began. In 10 minutes, no one approached us. No tea, no clarification, no acknowledgment whatsoever. The servers walked past us as if we weren’t even there. It was total disregard for guests. And the most absurd part — we later found out that they don’t even serve a pot of tea. Why this couldn’t be mentioned immediately instead of silently ignoring us is beyond understanding. It really feels like the staff simply doesn’t care about their customers or their time. We came to spend our money and enjoy a pleasant evening, but instead we left irritated and without even getting a simple cup of tea. The service is absolutely unacceptable. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
