One of my favorite spots in the LES for tacos and margs. Nancy is awesome and always has the warmest welcome. Mina was our server and she’s incredible!

First time dining here with a large party for a birthday dinner. The restaurant has some tight quarters, but don't let that deter you. The staff was truly, genuinely outstanding - they seated us early, checked on us often, and made sure things were going smoothly. You can tell that each person genuinely enjoys working there, and it shows immediately upon arrival. The food was very tasty, and the drinks were unique and refreshing! As someone who doesn't spend a lot of time on the les, I look forward to going back to patronize a place with good food and great staff!

Been going to Barrio Chino for the better part of 20 years. I am Mexican, and this is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. The spicy margaritas are always a hit, and anything on the menu is delicious. So glad that this place exists.

It has been 5 years since the last time I was there (NYC) but, I went like every other week for years. I STILL think about this place for brunch. And those habanero margaritas. Do yourself a favor if you can get in. Fantastic.

Nancy greeted us at the door with the warmest smile. Enjoyed sitting at the bar. The bartender, Pazzi, crafts the most amazing margaritas. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Sort of rediscovered it after years. Food is amazing. Service is really friendly and attentive. Ale waited on us - Jusin tended bar. Had their version of eggs benedict called "mamalas benedicto". Barbacoa on a thick tortilla with really tasty sauces over perfectly poached eggs. Amazing. chips come with 3 diff salsas. All amazing. drinks are very nice - grapefruit and hibiscus margaritas were highlights ... Couls be the best Mex in the city

Our favorite every-day (that design mean common, it’s a high praise) Mexican spot in Manhattan. It’s like coming home...

J

The food was great which is primarily what I went there for. The ambiance was pretty good and seems like a favorite place that locals frequent. My first cocktail which was a mezcal Paloma was great, perfectly crafted. Halfway through my drink a fly landed and killed itself in my cup (Sidebar. This place had a huge problems with controlling their problems with flies in the interior which is where I was sitting). I addressed it to the bartender that came over to assist me as my hostess/waitress was busy and he happily rushed back behind the bar to make me another drink except he used the same cup and it tasted like a bunch on seltzer water. I notified my waitress of the issues afterward and she took my cup back after apologizing and him make me another one which tasted mostly like ginger beer and little to no alcohol. I decided to take the loss on that as the food was still great and problems free so I paid the bill and left. I will definitely not be coming back her for drinks but the food is A1.

Came by last Friday and had an amazing time! Our server, Nancy, went out of her way to make sure our kiddos were happy and fed and presented a very thorough menu even though the place was packed! We will be back for sure! Must try the Chorizo Quesadilla!! 🩶

One of my favorite recent finds. I went with a group of eight people and had a blast. The reservation was a bit tough, but worth the effort all the way. The food is really on-point and they have simpler, classic dishes as well as spicier, experimental cuisine for the adventurous eater. And for the adventurous drinker too - try the habanero-infused tequila! The service was excellent (even for a group as big as ours) - attentive and friendly. And finally, the atmosphere. It's a cool, cozy spot perfect for a large party like ours, or a smaller, casual date at the bar.

Highlight of our trip to the Lower East side! Frantically walking around for a place for a bite before our guided tour at the Tenement museum we stumbled across this place without having high hopes. But what a stroke of luck! Great drinks, amazing quesadilla and yummy little mushroom side. Also first high quality coffee we had in our first few days in NYC.

I tagged along my friend to Barrio Chino while we were hanging out. I've never been here or heard of the place, really, but upon entering the establishment, I was thoroughly pleased. The atmosphere is chill, relaxed, and non-confrontational. On a nice sunny day, I can see people coming here to enjoy a drink, some small dishes, and read a book. The drinks are amazing, with special dedication paid to mezcal and margaritas. I had two margaritas at Happy Hour, which was delightful and refreshing! I didn't get a chance to try the food, but I definitely will when I return. The margs are shaken, not frozen, but they taste so fresh, there was basically no differences. Overall, I loved it! Would visit again.

Local gem with pretty on point Mexican food (as was stated by person who lived in Mexico for years). Their cocktails are amazing and great food to go with them: The ambiance is what you’d expect from a NYC restaurant, it’s not very big, a little cramped but when weather is nice they open their large windows. I had: - strawberry caipirinha: now I am picky with my caipirinha and having been to Brazil and having a few Brazilian friends I like to think I know a good caipirinha when I taste it. This was probably the best one I had in NY. Disclaimer: I did asked for 75% of the sugar they usually put. Also, their presentation is very Mexican style, with the rim of the glass covered in brown sugar. - mezcal mule: cool, smoky, refreshing, perfectly balanced. - tacos al pastor: yummm! Two tacos, lots of chunks of pork, flavorful, juicy... what you want your taco to be - guacamole: a decent portion with chunky avocado and a hint of heat from peppers

Real Mexican food full of flavours! Nice staff and amazing tequila. How looks from outside is the opposite of how good it is!! Really recommend this place and try guacamole with totopos as starter while waiting for food.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. We came all the way from Hell's Kitchen because I was craving tacos and my friend recommended this spot. It was 100% worth the trip. The tacos were incredible. And so was the service. I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry and the food was gone so fast. Let's see...we had guacamole with chips and the optional veggies/jicama, one order of breakfast tacos (off the desayunos portion of the menu), two different types of regular tacos, and a few different drinks. We sat at the bar and had the nicest bartender. Definitely go check it out!

My boyfriend and I had date night here. Sat outside and shared the steak, chicken and fish tacos. I ordered the spiciest margarita of my life. The waitress told me a lot of people return it but since I consider myself to have a high tolerance for spice, I went for it. I can see why people return it but it was delicious. I finished abt 80% but yeah, it was super hot. The fish tacos were the best. The chicken and steak were a close second, I love when steak has crispy edges but there is nothing like a good fish taco in the summer.

M
Michael Vallejos

Everyone that worked there was super cool. I felt like it was my friends helping me decide what to eat. The Al pastor tacos were great, carne asada tacos were good, the elote - AMAZING. playlist was great the whole night. Vibes are on point here

Great food and great service! The decorations and overall aesthetic of the restaurant was super cute. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was great! Definitely try the salsa trio. Each is a unique flavor and you’re sure to love one, if not all!

f

little pricey but the product is stand out for exceptional quality and preparation so i thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. the salsas taste really fresh and the spicy one is a little too robust to throw on the steak tacos but i did a tad and it was a nice compliment. the steak had an incredible sear on it with a nice little bite from onion and creaminess from the avocado. pretty sure the tortillas are made in house. the bartender was really nice even though i had to repeat my order cause i have bad hearing. can't wait to come back and try more

I love to swing by here and bring friends to try -- food and service consistently good across the board! Intimate, small seating space inside as well as outdoor. Especially love the unique flavored margaritas alongside the shareable sized food.

Wonderful spot! LOVED the Sangritas with the tequila, excellent!! Service could have been a little speedier. Guac was really wonderful and fresh. Halibut ceviche had such a great flavor, just a bit too much liquid for our taste, but fish was so fresh and tasty.

S

We were a party of six and EVERYTHING we were served here was exceptional. The coffee, the fresh watermelon juice, huevos rancheros, shrimp torta, and oh my God the French Bread with the exquisite dipping sauce!! I should have taken more pictures of the food. Special thanks to Abby for offering us great service. Oh, and we ended up here because Russ and Daughters was a 90 minute wait, but I'm glad for it!!

Barrio Chino is the spot to come for a really, I mean really excellent Magarita. If you can get it made by Carlos, even better. Ask for him. Their food is to die for. Having knowledge is Mexican cuisine I love how they incorporated new flavor techniques. Every place I go, I always order my favorite staple which is Green Chicken enchiladas. And by far this place has exceeded my expectations. It is my favorite meal to treat myself after a long week of work. My husband loves their steak tacos. Order four. Two won't be enough.

While taking my son to a pop-up shop on Grant Street in Manhattan I came across this really cool place which to my surprise has been here over 20 years! Surviving the pandemic! A quaint spot with open air wall that to brings the outside in. Nice selection of beer. A really cool welcoming vibe. These folks are welcoming and ready to serve. (Oh yeah…the folks you see out front are waiting to get into the pop up shop around the block!)

Fantastic food! The Al Pastor (pork) tacos were very flavorful, so were the barbacoa (lamb) tacos. The guacamole and totopes are a must. The churros have a surprise in the chocolate sauce ;)

Alberto made the experience wonderful. Me and a relative sat at the bar to have a pre-birthday celebration drink and I had the mezcalita which was made wonderfully with a great mezcal. We both had the al pastor tacos which were a burst of flavor. The ambiance is great & they do outdoor seating in the summer. Alberto surprised us with two hibiscus margarita shots and it made our day! Thanks Alberto & we’ll be back again.

Delicious food and drinks! Hadn't been here in years, so asked for a drink off menu - and elderflower margarita. The bartender made it perfectly! Our waitress was also very nice and accommodating. The chicken enchiladas were amazing, and the steak tacos were so flavorful! The atmosphere is so quaint and cozy, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner. MEXcellent Just across the street from me is @barriochinony so I had to try it! @stephbarbanell and I got some great food and drinks. I tried the barbacoa (lamb) tacos with pickled onions, chili pepper, and a salsa verde with a side of elote while Steph tried a quesadilla with chorizo topped with slices of avocado. I had a classic margarita and she tried the jalapeño grapefruit one. All was great!! Taco bout a fiesta Theres always a fiesta going on at @barriochinony ! Their tacos are and chips are so great that they’re always busy! I’ve been a few times now and they never disappoint, especially being conveniently located just down the block from me. We ordered chips and guac & salsa roja, steak tacos with avocado, and lamb tacos with red@pickled onions. Such simple meals yet such special flavors

This place has a pretty relaxed atmosphere and Asian decor! Came here for an early dinner at 6.30pm on a Saturday. Was pretty empty but started filling up after 7.15 or so. I'm happy that it was a vegetarian friendly restaurant. The guacamole was good. The salsa was great and tortilla chips were different from what you get at most places - in a good way! They made the enchilada verde vegetarian for us. The verde sauce was really good. Liked their drinks too.

J
Jean-Marc ten Holder

Food was great and so was the service. In our situation they didn't keep track of seating. We ended up waiting a long time for food because the server came to take our order after the other tables that arrived after us. And so as kitchens go, especially a small kitchen like this one, first in first out. So waiting until everyone else is eating before we got our food was a bit of an annoyance. Keep track of seating order and that would be avoided. Other than that, everyone was super friendly and attentive.

A
Andrea Tobar

I've been here twice and both times I had a great time the food was honestly so good and you can tell that it is made with good ingredient. I've tried the guacamole which is very tasty but the serving size is on the smaller side. The green ceviche was better than I expected I was very happily surprised at how much I honestly liked it although I perfected it with chips instead of the two that come with it. I also had the arrachera tacos which were one of the best I've had in a long time. The pollo tacos were also very good but not my favorite. I had the bistek a la parrilla and thought it was pretty good but there was a bit too much going on for me. Finally I had the classic margarita and it was very good strong but good.

N

The food is really good, the bartender/drinks were awesome, and the waitstaff, especially Nancy, is super friendly and helpful, but the manager/hostess is one of the rudest and unprofessional people that I’ve ever met. She told us she needed our table immediately as we were waiting for our dessert. She has no idea how to politely talk to customers and we attempted to have a discussion with her afterwards since we are also in the hospitality industry and she wouldn’t even apologize or recognize that you cannot treat customers in the manner that she did. I honestly don’t know if I’d go back because of her. Everything else was great.

S

I popped into Barrio Chino on a whim for brunch tacos and was no disappointed. The Guacamole was next level and the home made tortilla chips were iconic. Service was smooth despite being a tight spot and on a Sunday afternoon. A diamond in the rough! Would visit again 👏

Only tried a few cocktails but everything we tried was excellent and carefully prepared. Food seemed delicious but we were after a dinner. Service was nice and friendly. The place acoustics is a bit problematic so chatter volume is relatively high.

K

Ok. The food is phenomenal. Period. Enchilada Verde was out of this world. Simple thing like guacamole was great! The chicken soup was delightful. It was national Margarita Day, we ordered the tamarind. Super yummy. (Justin beiber song just jumped in my head,) Don't be in a hurry. Service is slow and screeched to a halt when our servers boyfriend arrived. My date left our table and went to inquire if we could get our drinks...she told him take a seat, so she must own the place. We all know love is blind, so she didn't notice the impatience in the air. Her bf is a lucky guy, he gets great service.

Cozy and somewhat vibey contemporary Mexican food. I liked the low lighting. The seating was too crowded, particularly at the high-top. The server was pleasant and efficient. My Oaxacan quesadilla was fairly priced with adequately portioned fillings. The tortilla was pretty good, and the contents were all fresh. The guac was very good.

E

Our server Selene was super lit, and the food was yummy but a lil pricey but also like thats new york so whatever. It is a little too loud in here though. I cant rlly hear my friends 🥸🥸🥸

A
Alaina Zulli

Excellent guacamole and chips, not quite as transcendent as Fonda but very close. Also excellent cocktails. I got the lime margarita and it was perfectly balanced. My sopa de pollo was not as outstanding. It was fine, but nothing special. And the sauce on the elotes was too heavy on the mayo. The space is VERY tight, but pleasant. Good lighting, loud but not unbearable. Good service too.

G
Grzegorz Rozum

Nice place with pretty indoor and outdoor seating. Really delicious pastor tacos and drinks especially cucumber mezcalita paloma mezcal. The only downside is pricing, pretty expensive but again it's Manhattan and prices seems to be a bit much often. Definitely worth a try if you like Mexican food and like mezcal drinks.

S

The chicken tacos were tasty. However the black bean was just plain, mushy and salty. I would have preferred some texture to it. Lastly their fryer was broken.

Z
Ziad Iskandar

I did not eat here however we came over for late drinks. The waitress was very nice and comped a drink that someone did not enjoy. Honestly the cocktails are ok however they have a good selection of tequila and mezcal. The music was really good so we ended up dancing and had a blast.

E
Eric Balash

Barrio Chino was very accommodating to our large group of 11, which we appreciated. While we waited nearly an hour for our main dishes, the food was excellent; well-prepared and full of flavor. I’d definitely go back and hope for a quicker kitchen next time.

S

The owner came up to us with a smile on the whole time and made us feel welcomed! We took her recommendations on the cocktails and stuck with the fresh grapefruit margaritas. They were rimmed with sugar and tasted great!! My friend got hers half spicy and kick was there!! We started with some chips and guac. The chips appeared to be made in-house so it was delectably crunchy with each bite. I had the barbacoa lamb plate which tasted delicious but the portions made me feel like I was still hungry. Great service all around. Rezy online reservations currently has only outdoor seating available but if you make it there and call in, they swap the reservation to indoors.

A

Yum ! The Watermelon margarita with spicy rim is insanely luscious. Lower East Side is my old neighborhood but is perpetually spawning new grub spots for the trying. This Mexican venue has a healthy margarita variety and the tacos were fresh and savory. We ordered the octopus torta? and the el Pastor tacos. That cilantro and pineapple twist was divine. So good. We did not want sit at the bar but understood reservations were made for the table we were eyeing near the window. So we just ordered tapas and drink. I rarely will order an entree when seated at bar because I like space and more comfort when truly chowing down. We will return with friends. Make reservations!

Pedro Giovanni

I just sat there for a juice and a mocktail on a dead-breeze summer evening. They have café tables outside if you only want drinks, and regular tables if you want to eat something. The place inside is nice, and outside is just outside — but it’s a good spot if you enjoy people-watching The service is 4 stars because the menu was super dirty and the waitress couldn't hide her frustration when we ordered mocktails.

I really liked the food, especially the tuna tostada for its complex flavor, and the mole was a close second with its intense flavor. I found the shrimp taco's flavor too mild in comparison, but not bad. I really wanted to like the place, it looks nice and the staff is friendly, however the food took forever to come out and the space indoors is extremely loud.

Can almost never go wrong with tacos and Barrio Chino didn't disappoint. Arrived on a somewhat busy night without reservation. Outdoor seating was readily available. We had chicken, and steak tacos. You have a choice of ordering two or three tacos. You can only pick one type (chicken, or steak, etc). So we ordered two chicken and two steak tacos and switched one out. Servers were nice and attentive. The tacos came out fast and were delicious.

Came at 11 am on a Saturday and it was empty. The place filled up pretty quickly shortly afterwards. I got the guac and chile relleno. The chips in the guac were on the greasy side since I guess they were fried in house. Guac was fresh. The Chile relleno was generously stuffed and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Price was good, although I wouldn't say that the quantity was enormous, but good enough to fill up and be satisfied. The heated outdoor seating area was very cute, with a clear ceiling and plants. The only con was that the tables were slanted because it's on the street, my water cup even fell off the table at one point! Other than that, great place for lunch. It looks like there's happy hour from 5-6 pm on weekdays!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the service was extremely slow and the waitress was very rude to some of our guests. I know how valuable reviews are for business so I only say this so they improve and don’t treat future customers that way when we’re spending amount hard earned money and free time there to have a nice time with friends.

Food and margaritas was great. I’ve been here before and was craving to finally have it again when I had the chance. My friend and I ended up being disappointed by our server. She only came around to ask for our food and disappeared for the rest of the night to spend time with her boyfriend. Any other follow up things we needed was supported by the rest of the staff, who actually understand the essence of hospitality. It was around closing time and while we were waiting to receive the check, she was literally getting groped and not paying us any mind, to which my friend had to personally walk up to her and ask her for the check. The service really turned me off from re-visiting despite the quality of the food.

Barrio Chino! That’s the name a bit confusing at first because it is a Mexican restaurant but I’m assuming that because of the location it does make sense. It is a very small restaurant but they really utilize the space well. I would this restaurant isn’t the best Mexican restaurant in lower east side but the food wasn’t the worst. I actually enjoyed my enchiladas verdes the seasoning was great and the portion was perfect. However the presentation was very messy almost to the point it does not look like something you would want to eat. Nevertheless I ate my food and felt pretty satisfied. I personally did not like the margaritas but my friends did. They ordered the grapefruit margarita which we were told by the bartender is their most popular one. Service was alright nothing special. The bartender was pretty friendly but restrained himself from making small talk. The menu is a bit pricey and there was no brunch menu on a Saturday. Parking wasn’t bad there was actually a lot of meter parking around the block. Overall I would recommend this restaurant because it has a lot of potential and I didn’t have a bad time.

Barrio Chino was always a FIVE star place for me, I love Barrio, been going for years, especially since 2013 at which point I went a few times a month or even a week, but they started messing with the menu a while back and have continued to do so. Steak Tacos being their most awesome staple, is no more. Here's what has happened. 1. They started destroying their most favorite dish a couple years ago when 3 tacos turned in to 2 tacos. They were still large portion tacos at this point though, but a total drag. They said it was to offer more options, as they lowered the price by a dollar or two, but they just raised the price back up immediately following. They should have just raised the price on the perfect 3 taco portion that it was. 2. Next, the hot sauce situation became ridiculous. They took away 2 of the 4 they used to offer at the table. Then you had to buy hot sauce. Not the end of the world but it was very inconvenient as you would forget, get your tacos, realize and then have to 'Order' the hot sauce, rendering your tacos cold while you wait. 3. Now, as in since last summer, the 2 tacos have a super small portion of steak, like really small. You used to be able to just buy a side of tortillas and create 3 tacos from the 2, because the portions were good. . The tacos are now like appetizers, very small, for the excellent price of $15.00 - $7.50 per tiny taco. This is not cool. I'm down with raising prices but not while simultaneously lowering the portions and making the once favorite dish far inferior to what it once was. I am so sad that I now have to find a new taco place. Unless of course you guys at Barrio are reading this review. It's meant to be a wake up call, to help, not to be mean. Your tacos are still the best tasting tacos around, but I'm gonna need more than 3 bites per taco. Hope you guys hear this. Cheers

I was disappointed in the food. It was very expensive for what you get. The barbacoa tacos tasted great, but at $17 for 2...not really a great value. I got chicken enchiladas rancheras, which cost $24 for 2 small enchiladas filled with dry, shredded chicken breast. The service was good, but it took a long time to get our entrees, and the restaurant itself is nondescript. It's unfortunate as this ysed to be one of my favorite restaurants in the nieghborhood.

Our visit started by almost tripping over a box that seems to have permanent residence by the front door. Our service started with our waiter telling us that we were “so quiet she basically forgot about us.” Food was fine but all the salsas that come with chips and salsa are so spicy they’re not practically edible, and I have a spice tolerance. She also took half an hour to bring our check after we asked because she was talking her coworkers by the bar. We had a good time, but the service was odd.

I got the pozole and don’t recommend it. It is under seasoned and not as flavorful as pozole should be. It is also very dry to eat because there is little broth and a ton of hominy. The place looks cute though so I hope it was an off day and they fix the pozole!

Ok place. Nothing special. The ceviche was very disappointing- it tasted like fruit salad with very little fish. The tacos were dry and boring . The fish tacos was probably the best. Waitress was very sweet but she was on her own which made us really feel bad for her running around .

Horrible service and hygiene. Had to walk into the bar and asked to be served after waiting 15 min outside. It was not busy at all. Server came back with a glass that tasted SALTY AND SOUR (the surface of the glass). That's disgusting, wash your glasses better. Only reason I didn't give them 1 star was because their tacos pretty good.

Liked that they had happy hour for their margaritas. Spicy marg was good. Would be open to trying other flavors. Food was fine. I got the mahi mahi tacos. They were a bit bland. They don’t let you mix and match the 2 and 3 taco entree, and it would have been nice to try different kinds. They’re all pretty much around the same price so I don’t understand the logic behind not allowing this, even if there was like $1-2 up charge. Have had way better tacos out of a food truck. I’d come here just for happy hour but prob wouldn’t eat here again. Service staff was really friendly but hard to track down. Just meh 🤷🏼‍♂️

Kitchen and food was 10/10 My girlfriend and I pulled up at 11:50p on a Saturday night. Francisco served us at the bar while we waited for the food order. He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about Mezcal, which I normally appreciate because that's all we drink. We ordered mezcal with grapefruit and a splash of soda, but made the mistake of asking what the bartender recommended (because the cocktails looked beautiful!). He told us they didn't have grapefruit or anything similar, then went into a lecture about the cultural problems of how the US consumes mezcal, as well as the logistical issues with making it. The gist was that it's essentially 'mezcal blasphemy' to drink it any other way than neat and if we order what we ordered we were part of the problem. We love and respect Mexican culture. I'm always grateful to learn anything new and I appreciated the opportunity to learn from him. I'm also sure he deals with a lot of unsavory people and had tried too many drinks by that point to keep it inside. It may not have been his intention, but his arrogance and resentment was uncomfortable and we certainly felt minimized by it. I understand that neat is the only proper way to drink good mezcal...BUT you also have to know who you're selling to. We wanted to buy drinks plural, not nurse straight mezcal. My gf is in sales and entertains large groups for a living. She's been there about a dozen times and recommended the bar in the first place. We picked some really good stuff and paid $62 (about 1/2 the bottle price) for two small glasses of mezcal with a splash of soda. It was great, but we wanted the cocktail we ordered. They easily could have squeezed another $62 out of us if we enjoyed the drink. We put our jackets on to leave before we were even half done, and then he began to unwind his judgement. He offered to go cups which was a nice thought, but by the time we got home they were watered down and it was too late to save. We wasted a lot of money and didn't enjoy our time because of it. Plenty of good mezcal bars out there who won't make you feel responsible for the US improper mezcal consumption habits.

The women waitress was nice, the place inside looks good and cozy. The ambiance however was depressing, the songs and the vibe was sad, I left feeling sad from there, in addition to the food being very bland. This is not a tasty Mexican food place. It’s not a “bad place” but I am definitely not going there again. I had to ask for salt, lemon, salsa to make my food savory, but even then it was bland. Do not come here if you are expecting good food, or good vibe. It’s also pricy.

Restaurant closed at 11pm, came there at 10:20 telling the server we are just going for a drink. She was very rude and said it’s “late, I’m trying to get everyone to leave outside, I’m no longer seating anyone outside”. Being denied service within an hour of closing is bad for business!

Fair food, not great service. I think there are better options around. Drinks are great tho! I’d recommend for chips salsa and mezcal margaritas, not much else. My enchilada chicken was dry, and it took 20 minutes after finishing our meal for the server to clear plates / ask if we needed anything else. Meh.

Had the chicken verde enchiladas and it had no flavor. Felt like I was eating air. Also had the cucumber mezcalita which tasted like I was kicking a bowl of sugar. I was anticipating having a nice drink after a long day, but it was so gross I never finished the drink.

Very overpriced. $12 for two very tiny tacos which only have 2-3 ingredients in them. Staff was not pleased when we only got drinks and chips and did not hide it. Oh and they charge $3 for a chip refill. Something they did for us without telling us... the chip bowl is tiny so get ready for that tiny $14 gauc to be $17-$20. The place is super small as well so we kept getting bumped into even while sitting. Theres a bunch of better taco joints you can go to. Skip this one.

First off, I do want to say the drinks were good and the server was really hospitable and professional. Our negative experience mainly stems from these two very rude waitresses. Throughout our night, they were very insistent on kicking us out of our table. They really hit the final straw when one of the waitresses comes to our table and asks us to get out of our table to make space for people who were going to eat dinner. Normally, I would not be annoyed by that request, albeit a rude one, but the context of the situation was absolutely absurd. Other people in the restaurants were sitting down, without food on their tables and without drinks. She comes to our table, once we had all ordered a round of drinks for our table---drinks, which in all honesty are probably more expensive than any of the food those people were going to order. She asks us to take our drinks and sit on a window ledge near the corner of the restaurant. In other words, she was asking us to take out drinks outside. This was rude beyond comprehension. Again, the server was great and so were the food and drinks, but the service from these waitresses definitely needs some correcting from management.

Main issue with this place was our server , I came here with a bunch of our friends for cinco de mayo and were dressed up as so for the occasion , the server being Mexican apparently felt we were being disrespectful of her culture for dressing up and made my friend feel so bad for dressing up for the occasion, because of her now he will never celebrate cinco and the secondary issue was the wait time for food , we must’ve been there an hour waiting for our food ! Do not recommend !!!
