Casa Bond NoHo has some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. In the pictures below, I ordered the Quesadilla De Langosta and the Suadero Tacos. Each dish was bursting with flavor, it was plated beautifully, and came to the table hot. They also made my Devil’s Margarita correctly, too. My waitress was so patient with me as I tried my best to pronounce the titles of each dish. The staff were friendly, observant, and attentive to each customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again, and again.
We didn't have a reservation on February 14, but they accommodated us instantly in a packed restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive although it was crowded. The entire staff we encountered were very friendly and nice. We shared a few appetizers to start. The ceviche was truly amazing delicious, and nice presentations!! Portions were big. Good cocktails selection. Desserts looked delicious. Omg the cocktails are awesome hit the spot. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. I highly recommend the mezcal Chocolate
My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Casa Bond and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the courses/cocktails. We had never been here or even heard of the venue but it made sense after our time there because it is brand new. Our server was very attentive and did a great job describing the 5 courses throughout the duration of our visit, she also made great recommendations for cocktails. By the end, we were greeted and thanked for our patronage by a man named Luis (unsure his position but we assumed owner/GM)! Thank you for the shots and we will definitely be back! Cheers 🙏🏼
Food is definitely to come back for. The steak and shrimp taco will be the best taco of your life. Super focused in cocktails as competitive as the top 50 bars in New York. Elite level mixology. Kudos to Luis Villanueva who executes the beverage.
Made my visit on a slow Tuesday night. Kitchen times seemed off, but we weren't in a hurry, so we just enjoyed our night. It started off with fresh guacamole and a nice chorizo fundito. Both were prepared perfectly. For our mains, we had the shrimp and steak tacos and enchilada suizas. Again, it is made perfectly. For dessert with finished with their tasty churos. We sat outside as the September weather was perfect. The inside was beautiful. The bar was fully stocked with anything to satisfy your cocktail needs. Bathrooms were clean. The wait staff was top-notch and met our expectations. A friend brought us here, and we weren't disappointed at all
The mark of a great restaurant is when you're already excited about what you'll try when you come back. That's where my head was at after leaving casa bond. Fine dining Mexican, with familiar, but also elevated & unique flavors. They hit it out of the park with the best, most complex mole I've tasted outside Mexico, delicious salsas, fresh and warm tortillas, perfect esquites. And a staff that treated us like we've been invited into their home - thanks for the experience folks.
I’ve had Mexican food before but never like this! I was beyond impressed with this beautiful establishment. From the moment we walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. The decor was stunning but most of all our servers were simply amazing!! Valdinia and Camila. Valdinina make some great food recommendations, she was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and was very attentive during our visit. We also had a visit from the manager Luis who came over to say hello and see if we needed anything, You are taken care of throughout your time there. Great food and great service are always appreciated and I will definitely go back! Thank you to all the staff who made sure we had a great dining experience-you rock!!!!
Checked out Casa Bond last week. I went early and ate at the bar. Staff is wonderful. My spicy margarita was terrific and both the dishes that I ordered were delicious. I had the aguachile which is a combination of cooked and raw seafood served ceviche style. And then the bartender recommended I try the Chochinita Pibil which is a shredded pork shoulder with achiote paste, cured lime onion, habanero, chile tetemado. It was SUBLIME. I have added Casa Bond to my roster of favorites and will be back to work my way through the menu. Because I tend to eat early, I experienced a very chill vibe, music was good but not too loud etc. I cannot tell if the place gets rowdy later in the night but if you go in the 7-ish range it is perfect for dining with friends and being able to have a conversation.
If you want to experience some tulumish vives in Mexico, then this is the place to be. The cool vibes and friendly bartenders will not only mix your drinks but also educate you on tequila and/or Mezcal. Server was very attentive throughout the night, food tested so good and drinks were the perfect paring.
Had a great time here! Very good cocktails and food. The amazing bartender, Kadier Abrajan, added to an already great experience there!! Looking forward to going back with friends!!
What a fabulous spot!! My friends and I came here for a girls night dinner before going out, and it was the perfect place. The ambiance is sexy and trendy, and the food and drink menu has a great variety. There’s something for everyone! Great hospitality and service as well. Luis, the manager (in the photo), came over and personally greeted us and gave us free drinks! Luis and his team are doing an amazing job and can’t wait to be back.
Delish! Hosted a group of 30 here for my birthday. Staff was super accommodating with my group, printed me custom menus, and gave us a great deal for pre-fixe. Everyone enjoyed the food and set-up. Thank you Vivian & Luis at Casa Bond for making our experience great!
I held my bachelorette brunch here with 9 friends and we all had a great time. Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. And the space was trendy. They did not make us feel rushed and we were really able to catch up, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.
The aguachile ceviche was extraordinarily good. The broth has complex, delicious layers of flavor, presumably from the 7 different dried and fresh chiles. The owner (?) said that the salt and spices are all imported from Mexico. Everyone from bussers to waiters were sweet, and a Mexicali was the perfect accompaniment.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and crafted drinks. Welcoming friendly staff and good atmosphere at a bar and restaurant.
Stop by to have a drink while waiting to go to a Soho debate. Love the look and feel of this new Restaurant. . Nice cocktail menu, drinks were delicious and bartender friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner.
My wife and I have been coming to Casa Bond for nearly a year now, and it’s become one of our absolute favorite spots in the city. When we first moved to NYC from South Florida, we were on the hunt for a great margarita—and that search led us here. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into a regular tradition. Over time, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting to know the bartenders—who now feel more like friends. Casa Bond has truly become a second home for us. The drinks are incredible, always thoughtful and creative, with unique takes on the classics that keep us coming back. And the food? It’s outstanding. This isn’t the typical Mexican fare you might expect. It’s elevated, crafted with high-quality, authentic ingredients that highlight just how special this cuisine can be. We’ll always have a soft spot for this place. Whether we’re stopping in for a full dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, Casa Bond never disappoints. P.S. Happy hour at the bar is one of the best vibes in town—great prices and even better energy.
Just had my first dinner at C as in Charlie and...unreal. We ordered everything on the menu except for two dishes and not a single bite was bad. The vibes were super fun and casual, perfect for a chill dinner with friends (or kicking off a night out). The space feels energetic and lively! The ribs were insane, the popcorn chicken totally addicting, and every dish after that just kept getting better. From the pasta to the gnocchi-style bites to the potatoes — 10/10. The whole menu is creative and I love how the dishes are on the smaller side so you can try a bunch. Also big shoutout to the wine list which had a ton of unique options. Already planning my next visit. Will absolutely be back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️thousands stars to this wonderful Korean restaurant! guys are just exceptional, they offer sakè, they are super friendly and chatty and loveable. food is on point: we got hummus, shrimp toast, oxbone pasta, persimmon salads and chips. everything was tasty and delicious! we refer this beautiful place to all our friends visiting NY! see you soon guys! ps. go to the restrooms! ❤️
Incredible experience. Food was amazing and made with finesse and deep flavors. Service is quick friendly and you feel welcome right from the start. Menu is well explained. Atmosphere is packed but cosy - a very lively NYC neighborhood experience. I would come back any time - our highlights were the Steak with a cream that was outstanding, the Popcorn chicken, Pasta and Mushroom Bibimbap (little marinated button mushrooms for extra pops of deep flavor which we found genius) - must tries when you are there!
One of the best meals we had in NYC. Shoutout to Ricky for serving us - personable, knowledgeable and friendly- an asset to the Charlie team. Order the popcorn chicken, the grits and the creamy pasta. Reservations are a must. Seating times for two people are 1.5 hours but food comes out quickly. Unsurprisingly this restaurant was recommended by Topjaw and is well deserving of its praise.
My friends and I were here on 11/9/25 during our and this was one of the best dining experiences we had while visiting New York. Each item was brought out to our table one-by-one and none of them lasted more than a minute on our table. Our server, Daniel, contrivuted a ton to our experience as well. He was very attentive, coming over to check in on us, give his opinions and recommendarions from the menu, and overall had a friendly attitude and made fun conversation with us. Will definitely make this restaurant a must whenever I visit New York in the future.
We were incredibly impressed at C as in Charlie. Every single dish we had was very good - 3 of them were exceptional. The mozzarella/green pepper with soy balsamic was insanely good, the ribs were melt in your mouth and the prawn roll delicious too. Service was excellent and the restaurant had a real buzz/warmth to it. Absolutely shouldn’t be missed. Surprisingly reasonably priced too.
Pretty good food and surprisingly great service! The food wasn't very frou-frou, just simple small plates done very well. Oxbone cream pasta was delightfully rich (but not overly so), seoul'sbury steak was peak comfort food, and the popcorn chicken was pretty standard chicken with a good gochu glaze. The dessert was also really delicious although a bit hard to eat. Drinks were good too, server brought out little samples of each thing which was great for my decision paralysis.
C as in Charlie is one of those spots that makes you feel like you’re in on a secret. The vibe is laid back, but the food comes out swinging — bold, playful, and way better than it has any right to be for the price point. The dishes aren’t trying to impress you with fluff — they just hit. Spicy, funky, creative takes that make you want to order way past the point of being full. By the end, I stopped calling it “C as in Charlie” and started calling it “C as in Coming Back Tomorrow.”
Honestly one of the best service experiences we’ve had. Free sake to start, and the nicest most attentive wait staff. The food speaks for itself - southern tapas with Korean flavors makes for a creative, delicious umami packed meal. The play is to order the whole menu. They’ve got a large sidewalk space now, definitely one of the places to be in Noho this summer!
We enjoyed our visit to C as in Charlie very much!!! Exceptionally delicious food, super cozy atmosphere, accompanied by very friendly and welcoming staff members!! We were there on their collaboration with the ‘Pop up Bagel’ and got to try the chili shrimp bagel which reminded me of ‘Mian Bao Xia‘, but so much better! The seoul’sbury steak was so flavorful and their mushroom bibimbap was packed with umami. I knew we were going to love the ‘oxtail pasta’ and of course it didn’t disappoint. We also appreciated unusual soju options they had. From the welcome drinks to desserts, we enjoyed everything about the place and cannot wait to return for more! Compliments to chefs and the staff. We felt this joint was a great representation of what modern fusion restaurant should be. Highly recommend.
Really good food. Wife had the meat dishes and I had the vegetarian hits. The hot pocket and the mushroom bibimbap were so good. The charlies bagel dessert was awesome too. Wife said steak and the popcorn chicken were fantastic. Staff were great, even though my dog was going crazy at them! Great place and highly recommend.
A nice tapas place. Service was friendly and very fast. I think we were in and out in 45 min on Sunday night. The two of us had four tapas dishes (see photos). The popcorn chicken and oxbone cereal pasta are def worth trying and very tasty. The tuna tartare and seoulsbury steak were fine, seemed pretty standard. We weren’t really sure what the Korean twist on those two dishes was. We didn’t order any drinks, but they did give us two small shots on the house. I would go back to try other tapas.
While visiting the town, we met up with friends to catchup. I saw this place listed on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list and snagged a reservation. They do enforce a two-hour time limit for parties of four. As my friend was running late, the servers frequently reminded us of the time constraint. Fortunately, we finished our meal within the allotted time; I have never encountered a restaurant that did so many reminders about the dining time. This was the only minor drawback; otherwise, I would have given it a perfect rating. The mushroom bibimbap was exceptional; I could have easily eaten just a big bowl of that and been happy. The potato nuggets were also quite delicious, with the truffle aioli. The popcorn chicken, however, was not my favorite, as it seemed excessively sauced. The food portion sizes were ideal for sharing among our group of four. It came out at a pretty good price point per diner, especially for the area.
Finally got to check out C as in Charlie, a spot I’d been wanting to try for a while — went with a group of friends, so we were able to sample a good range of dishes. The popcorn chicken was classic Korean-style yangnyeom chicken — sweet, spicy, and really tasty. The fluke ceviche was refreshing and bright, one of the standouts of the night. As for the green tomato hot pocket, oxbone cream pasta, baby back ribs, and Seoul’sbury steak — none of them were bad, but honestly nothing felt particularly unique or memorable. They were all pretty standard and didn’t leave a strong impression. Our final dish, the Charlie’s Cajun Boil, was served in a bag that you shake up and pour out before squeezing lemon juice over it — fun presentation, but unfortunately way too salty. We could barely finish it. Considering it’s from the team behind Kisa restaurant, we were expecting more distinct flavors and bold concepts, but most dishes felt safe or generic. Mocktail, The blood orange mimosa was basically flavored water. Might as well have been sparkling water with a hint of color. Would not recommend! Nice vibe, great service, but the food was more average than expected.
I thought the food was generally good, with some dishes much better than others. Even though nothing blew me away, I appreciated that some dishes were unique, such as the green tomato got pockets and the shrimp rolls. The mushroom bibimbap was confirmed perfectly and the mushrooms were great, but the rice was meh. I would pass on the salisbury steak, and the pasta didn't come together at all. The banana pudding was fine. They prints are shareable, but in the smaller side. The staff was very attentive and service was super quick. The indoor seating was extremely loud and it made me want to leave, fortunately they agreed to move my party outside, where it was really nice, but not a total solution.
When you enter the restaurant and pass the bar area your pleasantly surprise by the set up. It is unfortunate the staff are unorganized and quite rude. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and waited another 25 minutes before I received it. You will be asked repeatedly if you ordered and although you say no, no one ever takes your order.
for as viral as this place is, I’d say this restaurant is definitely skipabble. We got the popcorn chicken, ribs, and shrimp toast. The popcorn chicken had a great coating on the outside, but the inside was chewy, stringy, and dry. The toast was probably the best dish, but still an 8/10 for me. The rib flavors were great, but the meat itself wasn’t as tender as I’d expect, and at times a bit tough. The service is incredible and the sake shots in the beginning are a great touch, but I’d recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for solid tapas.
Went for restaurant week. Sopa de tortilla was meh, not very flavorful and had cilantro despite us asking for no cilantro and the waitress saying that would be fine. Quesadilla looked good but it was underwhelming flavor wise. I've had better ones at cheap Mexican joints/carts. Gobernador was okay but again nothing very special. Looked better than it tasted. Think Los Tacos is better tbh. The cochinita pibil tasted the best out of what we had but still wasn't anything extraordinary. The dessert just seemed like a pretty mid cheesecake. Not bad but also not great. The cocktail was tasty, mostly tasted like juice if that's your kind of thing. The service was ok, they were a little overly attentive except for when it came time to get our check, then we had to flag someone down. Also disrupted our conversation a few times to refill our waters, which would be fairly minor but it was still annoying since we had our glasses to one side but they would fill from the opposite side, holding the jug in our faces. Overall, food looked impressive but the taste and flavor didn't meet expectations nor did it seem to match the price. They also have a credit card fee which I usually only expect at cheap spots/delis. Atmosphere was fine, wasn't too loud or dark/bright.
Extremely loud. Drink was fine (NA) but the menu was underwhelming. The aguachile was not as described. The tostadas were utterly bland. And initially I was brought the wrong order, too.
