Amazing food and warm services! Highly recommended the chicken roll, pepperoni roll and garlic bread. One of the best pizzas I have had! Will definitely come back when I visit New York next time.

Update: still my favorite pizza spot years later! No where compares. I love J’s Pizza! When I get pizza delivered, it always tastes like it was just made. I can also recommend their ravioli (so I’d assume all their pasta dishes are good too)

Typical NYC pizza place. Great slices. Prompt service. Come here every week on my trip into the city from Jersey. Look forward to it every time. The buffalo chicken slices are top tier.

J’s is everything you want in a classic New York pizza slice shop. Quintessential vibe and menu, great slice, sweet and friendly service. Visiting NYC with my teen boy to take in a Yankees game and bum around. He was on a quest to find the best pizza and J’s didn’t disappoint. I’d love to go back and try their Stromboli, calzone, pasta etc. Another time!

Really, really GOOD Pizza!! Love their dough….Sicilian and Peperoni Slices great! Also Pepperoni Rolls are wonderful. J’s Stuffed Shells are delicious. Always friendly staff. Dine-in, take-out or delivery. Convenient location corner of 16th St and 7th Avenue.

I'm no pizza expert, but this is one of my favorite slices in the city. Distinct flavor, and tastes like it's got fresh ingredients. Maybe a little pricey, but you get what you pay for here.

This is a beloved institution in Chelsea - even after decades since it first opened, J's still has some of the best cheese slices in the City. It always makes me smile to see that they are still standing. This is an OG joint with quality to boot!

Real deal Pizza! I will go out of my way to eat a slice at Jay's. My favorite tasting pizza of all time was on the Amalfi Coast. Today, J's Pizza has become my favorite!

This place is a total gem and I can’t believe I’ve never stopped in before (now 2x in a week). Extremely nice staff, excellent pizza, and amazing dough (baked to perfection, it’s really, really good). Free refills on the sodas to boot. I’m a NYC pizza hound, far better than Bleecker Street (really fell off) and better than Joe’s imo.

The pizza was excellent. After ordering the pizza I asked if it was time to pay but the owner or manager said we would pay afterwards, and added, if you like it, 'cause maybe you don't like it. Friendly and gracious staff with a good people watching spot

Amazing service! Every other pizza shop in the area was closed and even though they were closing up they received us in from out of the rain and set a place for us to sit down. Great place, great pizza!!

I’d Pizza makes some delicious pizza as a local pizza joint. I’ve had them three times now and each experience is great. This last time I went in and was able to place a carry out order for a 18” combination pie (Pepperoni, Sausage, Peppers, Mushroom, Onions). They told me it would be about 20min and I could come back and pay when I picked it up. 20 minutes later and I was leaving with a fresh pizza. This was a Saturday around 5:30pm and there was really no wait which was great. The pizza has a great crust consistency that isn’t soggy or too chewy. The toppings and sauce tasted fresh and I thought it was a decent price for the size of the pizza in New York. If you don’t want to order a whole pizza they also sell almost everything by the slice and will heat it up for you. They also had a wide range of other food options which I might try the next time I’m in town. Overall a great experience every time I’ve been and a neighborhood staple with friendly staff!

Perfect for a casual bite!

I was just walking with my grandfather and we were hungry and we wanted pizza so I googled pizzerias near me and J's pizza is one of the places that popped up so we decided to go here out of all the other places and I'm glad we did. The pizza was delicious, and I would definitely come back for another slice. But I don't believe there is a bathroom, which is ok as long as you don't have to go, lol.

Delicious affordable pizza and warm friendly staff. The only drawback I have is that the last time I went, the just opened for the day and the pizza I bought tasted like overnight pizza. Needless to say I did not enjoy it. I would definitely go back though, just not in the morning.

The guy that was serving me he was very friendly kind and nice that old man is the lifeline to this pizza place it feels like an old school diner and when I asked questions he was very helpful I got the chicken roll and a pepperoni roll and bolted them were delicious I'd highly recommend this place I couldn't say any more good things.

Went today order 3 slices Sicilians two sodas and one Monticelli comes with two pieces we ordered an extra piece for we ordered two large sodas which he wanted to put half of the cup with ice and they didn't even fill it up to the top when we finally got the Monticell like he took it out of the dryer was completely dry we asked for a cup of sauce tomato sauce and after spending $35 he wanted to charge us 25 cents for a little of sauce if you want customer service that's rude and obnoxious this is the place to go after telling an older man there with glasses to forget about it and just put the order in a bag I'm going to take it home he has something rude to say also I mentioned it to him don't worry we won't be coming here anymore

Overall, between the poor product, questionable customer service, and attitude, this place earns a one-star review from me.
