Opinions de Jollibee New York
They only serve drumstick and thighs which is exactly what I wanted. Best fried chicken in NYC. There is security guard if you dine in late night, hence security is good. I did takeaway as it was close to 1am so that I eat in the comfort of my hotel room. :p
I’ve been wanting to try Jollibee, a Philippines-based fast-food chain specializing in chicken. It’s probably the best fast food ever. I had a spicy chicken sandwich that’s actually spicy, delicious cole slaw and a mango-coconut drink. Everything was great. Too bad there isn’t one near my home in Florida.
We placed an online order for Jollibee while we were about 12 minutes away. Reading the reviews, I thought that I should place it earlier because people mentioned that the location is busy and can take a while. My sister and I both got a 2 pc Chickenjoy with drinks. My sister got one side, and I got two sides. I ordered the mashed potatoes large and mac and cheese, and my sister got the adobo rice. For my drink, I got the pineapple quencher. We do not have Jollibee near us, so I wanted to get a bunch of different items. We walked to the location and went inside to pick up our order and eat. When I went up to the counter, there was a worker there who was packing orders, but was doing it very slowly. I watched for a couple of minutes before letting them know that my order was sitting right there on the counter. I got the food, and we went back to sit at a table. The Chickenjoy comes with a brown gravy, which is savory. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the breading has a nice crunch to it. The biscuit was pretty average but it was delicious dipped in the gravy. The mashed potatoes were good, and I liked that there was potato skin in it. The mac and cheese was interesting- very creamy and light. The adobo rice had a nice flavor to it. The pineapple quencher seemed to just be pineapple juice, but it was good. I paid about $15 a person for the meals, which is a little expensive for a fast food meal. However, due to its unique offerings, I was okay paying that price. Overall, we had a great time here and enjoyed the food a lot.
Stores in the most central area of Times Square Personally, I still prefer the original recipe fried chicken. The barbecue flavor still feels a bit greasy. After eating one, my whole hand was covered in sauce. You have to wash your hands. It's quite inconvenient. Next time, I'll order the basic model.
Times Square had burgers… I chose Jollibee like a grown man with taste and zero fear 🇵🇭🐝 Tried the KATSEYE Special KBBQ Chicken Sandwich Combo and I’m calling it now — best fast-food chicken sandwich in the game. Crispy, juicy, smoky-sweet, and absolutely undefeated. Then I went full send: ube pie (criminally good), ube coconut freeze (rich, creamy, coconut magic in a cup), and that sriracha dipping sauce? Dangerous. I’d put it on my resume. They call it the McDonald’s of the Philippines, but let’s be clear — this place has its own lane, its own swagger, and its own flavor universe. Loud, proud, purple, crispy… This is officially the wackiest, jolliest place on Earth. #jollibee #timesquareeats #fastfoodking #nycfoodie #foodreview
I came to this Jollibee for an episode of a new Youtube show I’m doing, and it was kind of fun as I hadn’t been to Times Square in years. Most New York residents don’t set foot in the capital of consumerism unless there is family in town or they are going to the theater. I’m guilty of this myself. But this trip made me realize I’ve been too harsh. Between bites of fried chicken, spaghetti, and an Aloha burger, I observed families from all over the world being united by being completely overwhelmed by the flashing lights and an endless sea of people. As I saw these families experience the Crossroads of the World for the first time, it brought me right back to my 1st trip to New York with my Mom when I was 13. I was in awe. It was my first little jolt of culture shock. I felt like I was setting foot in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory when I first walked into the Times Square NBA Store back in 2009. This 2025 Jollibee trip brought me back to a time when I was the purest form of me, largely untouched by the stressors and responsibilities that come with adulthood. It’s good to get in touch with that younger version of yourself every now and then, just to check in. Are you making little you proud? As I try to get more and more comfortable with being myself in front of a camera, I found Times Square to be a major security blanket. Eating food in front of a camera is about the least crazy thing you can do here. And for that, I am grateful… The Jollibee Chicken Joy is also straight GAS. As advertised. •Located conveniently in the middle of Times Square! •Crispy, delicious fried chicken, chicken burger, and ube pie! •Quick and good service from staff •Limited but generally clean dining space •Tastes like home! 🇵🇭
After visiting my family in Manila for 2 weeks, I was feeling home sick and happened to be in the area. No matter where you go, Jollibee is the best! (And probably the best food in the Times Square area to be honest.) I only wish they had the aloha champ jr like in the Philippines
Delicious! The spicy fried chicken is very juicy, tender, and flavorful. It has a nice kick to it. Good fries. The pineapple drink is a great balance to the spice.
• Visited with my aunt after meeting up at Times Square • Ordered spicy chickenjoy with biscuit and coleslaw, plus spicy chicken burger - everything was delicious and reminded me of home 🇵🇭 • Coleslaw dressing was too watery and could use more vegetables • Spicy chickenjoy leg portion was smaller than expected • Planning to try the spaghetti, palabok, and ube pie on my next visit • Staff were friendly and attentive • Small dining area fills up quickly and gets crowded
ONLY complaint out of an amazing experience was the tall lanky kid doing my order. He clearly missed my fries and when I said I’m missing fries, he stared at me for 30 seconds until I reminded him again and he gave my order to someone faster. Overall, dare I say this is the best Jollibee in the east coast? Amazing food, all the other workers were very kind. If you’re around the Manhattan area or even in New York City, skip every other location and go to this one.
This 8th Avenue Jollibee location only serves their chicken entrees and sandwiches. (The Times Square location offers burgers as well.) I have been recently ordering their 3 piece tenders meal with either mashed potatoes and gravy, white rice, or cole slaw as the side, though they also offer McDonald’s-like fries. Despite the name, the box of tenders usually includes 4 or 5 white meat tenders which can be different sizes. (Unlike McDonald’s the tenders are each different in appearance.) Several sauces are available but I get the small gravy. My included dessert choice is the ube pie (purple sweet potato) rather than the peach-mango. I have also enjoyed the spicy leg/thigh two-piece meal which is truly spicy and with large pieces of dark meat chicken. There are more expensive sides including spaghetti (with ground meat and hotdog slices and a sweet smoky flavor), mac & cheese, and adobo (dirty) rice. I usually get a soft drink but they offer fruit quenchers and other drinks. All in all the best chicken of any fast-serve chain! There is a single public restroom and the key is held at either the front desk or by security.
This is my first time trying Jollibee from seeing it on food reviews.i got the 3pc chicken tender and it was phenomenal with the gravy! I also ordered Adobo Rice for the appetiser it’s very good with the gravy on it. Also I had the Pineapple drink it was a nice add on with a sour taste. For dessert I had the Pie with the Purple inside it was flaky and sweet. And thank you to my server Andrei a very nice and polite man, Great Service, Phenomenal Food!
I regularly come in before work on the weekends for the 2 piece deal with pie and a drink. For tonight, however, for my side, I upped it to adobo rice and poured the gravy over it. Better with white rice (TBPH). Chicken with honey, and this time ube pie. I come because the crew is pretty cool. Cool and responsive. Keep up the great work.
First time at Jollibee, had to try a couple of sandwiches (a Deluxe Sandwich and a Bacon & Cheese Chicken Sandwich) with a side of mashed potato with gravy. The food is good but not outstanding, I mean it’s pretty much what you expect to find in a chicken-based fast food restaurant, nothing remarkable but way more than acceptable. The place is clean, the music is good (mostly house music when I visited), staff is friendly, attentive and efficient! It’s a great alternative to more famous chains.
First time here and it exceeded my expectations. Chicken was super hot, crispy and spicy! Just how I like it. The gravy is amazingggg. Spaghetti is an interesting side but I still like it. Pie is good. Tried a few of their drinks and really their coconut cream freeze and their lychee and passionfruit iced teas. Have yet to try everything on the menu but so far everything has been great. Dining area isn’t super big. It’s usually packed here and we just get lucky and find a seat. Service is super quick and they try to get everything out super quickly. Can’t wait to come back and try out more food.

The food was nice food, with a good variety and reasonably priced. The service could have been quicker.
Walking into Jollibee in Times Square felt like stepping into a pocket of pure, ketchup-red happiness tucked between towering billboards and flashing LEDs. On the east side of the square, the restaurant was easy to find. The moment I walked through the door, the energy hit me: sizzling fryer hums, the scent of golden glory drifting through the air, and smiles as bright as the Broadway marquees themselves. There are 4 ordering kiosks right inside the door, so ordering was fast and easy. The Chickenjoy arrived piping hot, wearing a perfectly crisp golden crust that practically crackled like applause when you broke into it. The spices in that crust deserve their own standing ovation with warm savory notes, a peppery wink, and just a hint of a kick to make each bite feel like a tiny firework. Inside? Juicy, tender, and delightfully indulgent. And interestingly, not really greasy. The staff here deserve medals shaped like tiny smiling bee faces. Every interaction sparkled: friendly greetings, helpful suggestions, and a genuine enthusiasm that felt contagious. The Filipina was working hard filling online orders but managed to greet and update everyone on their orders with great warmth. In a part of Manhattan where most customer service leans more toward hurried survival mode, this crew delivered warmth like it was on the menu. The atmosphere is pure Times Square: buzzy, crowded, a little chaotic, and absolutely charged with energy. Lines can get long and seating is tight, but instead of feeling stressful, it almost adds to the theme-park feeling. Fun fun. Jollibee in Times Square is more than a quick meal stop; it’s an adventure wrapped in crispy breading and served with a smile. The food is delicious, the spices inside the crust are bold and unforgettable, and the staff make the experience feel like a celebration. Pro tip: visiting a bit off-peak increases the chance of a straight-from-the-fryer masterpiece.
If you’re craving a fun and flavorful fast-food experience right in the heart of NYC, Jollibee Times Square delivers with joyful energy and delicious favorites. This bustling Filipino-inspired spot is best known for its crispy, juicy Chickenjoy — golden on the outside and tender on the inside — that many diners immediately rave about
The food was delicious and staff so kind and friendly. There are some really unique offerings here. The chicken was so juicy and tender and the peach mango pie was so good it will make you want to slap your gritsy ganny. One of the better fast food biscuits I have ever had... just saying. The only thing I have to complain about is available seating and lack of signage. It was difficult to find and there wasn't enough seats for the amount of people trying to enjoy the great food.
The place was always packed. There was a long line and long wait time for the food. Even they have machines for self-ordering. The food quality was still okay. We had a chance to try the collab of Katseye here, it was pretty sweet and soggy in our opinions. The area inside was quite clean, they have a lot of staffs taking care and cleaning the area though.
Right in Times Square, it’s exactly what you’d expect: busy, quick service, and limited seating. The food was good, with extremely crispy chicken. Solid stop for a fast bite in the area.
Great chicken. Adapted a taste for Jolly Spaghetti which friendly Kathy personally prepares for me. Closes 1 a.m. convenient for after theater or late night film.
Very crowded not enough seating for the amount of people that like to eat there. Food was ok I've had better. Spice was good but had a weird taste . Mashed potatoes were a bit weird had chunks of something in it couldn't tell what it was. But the gravy was pretty good. I wish I could say the service was good but once you left the check out counter and got our food there was one worker that seemed too involved in our dining experience. Bossing our kids around about eating their food instead of coloring that they provided. Too busy for my taste
Finally got a chance to try out this location. My 2nd time feasting on Jollibee’s. A bite of chicken dipped in gravy and I can understand the joy involved. YES YES & YES… The chicken is not overly fried, the meat is juicy & succulent. The spicy 🌶️ flavor is up there. It’s chicken on another level. 👍👍 PROS: 1) great flavor & texture 2) gravy makes it better 3) the biscuit is buttery delicious 4) fast service CONS: 1) a bit pricier than its peers, $17.41 for a 3 piece combo. 2) the mash potato side is small 3) venue has limited seating
Never had the chicken from this location before, and it was a nice change of pace from other chicken-based chains. This is NYC, so the place was crowded, mostly with tourists who wait to get to the register before they start the 15 min. task of deciding what to order. If you can make up your mind in line, the staff seem to appreciate that, and overall they seemed nice and moving quickly to try to deal with all the orders they had to fill. Food, to me, was better than Cain's or other chicken places, especially the sides...they didn't taste like injection-molded plastic, gravy was nice, chicken was tasty and nothing was over salted. Overall worth a try to see if you like it and need a quick meal to fill you up as you're wandering around the city.
Jollibee – Fried Chicken Came back as promised to try the famous fried chicken from this Filipino franchise. The place has a fun vibe, though it feels a little cramped—maybe just because it’s always packed with people. I went for the Spicy Chicken, and wow… it totally lives up to the name. The coating is thin and crispy, full of spice, while the meat inside is tender and juicy. Service is what you’d expect from a fast-food spot—quick and straightforward. One tip: if you want ketchup or chili sauce, you have to ask for it, and they’ll give it to you in packets. Flavor-wise though, this might just be the best spicy fried chicken I’ve had so far in New York. I’ll definitely be back to try the other menu items—but for now, the Spicy Chicken is the star, and you shouldn’t miss it.
There new chicken tenders and sauce taste like Cane's. Mac & Cheese is so good. Jollibee is probably one of the only major chains that puts jalapeños on their spicy chicken sandwich. Peach mango pie is perfectly crisp with delicious filling in the middle. Their world famous pineapple quencher is a must. Their meal deal is probably one of the best and most justifiable one out there. Sandwich, side, drink, and dessert
Did a doordash pickup as line was long when I got there. Spicy chicken deluxe sandwich was tasty but lettuce was not very fresh. Chicken joy was not hot and crispy as expected. Maybe it was 9pm and wrap up time but I prefer other places over this so far. Mango peach pie was delicious and spot on.
Yay I love jollibee ube pie workers were friendly! AC was really strong in the back almost froze to death but the temperature was really nice near the entrance where the sunlight was coming in

This place serves delicious food! The general energy of the place is lively, there is always a high turnover of food. Service is efficient, however the seating is limited. I especially enjoyed the barbecue chicken—mmm delicious! The biscuits are also moist, yummy and delicious! The one thing that I disliked about this place was the lingering smell of pee wafting from the bathroom area. That interfered with my experience. This must be addressed immediately! I had been to Jolibee’s before, the smell of pee was not an issue. For a place that’s always had a line and a rotating door— fix this issue! This place would have gotten a higher score if the smell was not there. I’ll be back.
since its close to time square you have to try it. the bucket was really big, even the small one feeds two people easily. the biscuit its ok and worth trying, meanwhile the mc and cheese and the gravy wasnt something that i would try again. its always crowded and you ll be lucky if you find a table to sit. try of course the signature drinks they are really refreshing.
7th March 1345 It was my first time visiting New York and trying Jollibee, so I was really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the service I received from MARIAM was very disappointing. She came across as unwelcoming and seemed uninterested in assisting customers, which made the visit feel uncomfortable. As a first-time customer, I was hoping for a more positive and friendly service experience. Sadly, this interaction left a poor impression. I hope the management can address this, as good customer service makes a big difference for visitors trying the brand for the first time.
Love Jollibee, but this branch wasn’t the best experience. Our order took almost 40 minutes, even though we were told the Chickenjoy would take around 20 minutes to prepare. The front seating was full, so we tried sitting in the back but were stopped by an employee, who said dining was closed—despite being asked if our order was for dine-in or takeout. Thankfully, they let us stay, but the wait time and seating issue were frustrating. Hoping for better service next time.
All we got were 2 pies. The service wasn't very fast. There were seats since we went at around 10 pm. It wasn't too loud at that time either.

If service could be rated ZERO, I would definitely give them zero. Today I encountered a waiter whose attitude was extremely impatient. Since I always order the same set meal, I ordered the same one today, but this time I went to the counter. The waiter I encountered was impatient with every word I spoke. Most importantly, she tried to secretly charge me a couple of dollars at the end. Although I can afford that small amount, I absolutely hate this kind of deceptive behavior. I pointed out the price discrepancy, but she stubbornly refused to admit his mistake, insisting I take screenshots from the machine to prove I was right and she was wrong. When I gave the screenshots to prove her mistake, she still made excuses and acted with disdain and contempt. Even one of his colleagues sided with her. Overall, she had a completely disregard for customers. I was extremely angry throughout the meal, had no appetite, and could barely eat. Two people around me even mocked me. No one stood up for me; instead, I was subjected to cold stares from those around me. It was a terrible experience. Please be careful with this TERRIBLE WOMAN.
Store looks nice inside, a lot of seating and good space. I paid 12 dollars for a chicken tender combo, comes with a drink and fries. The wait was ridiculous though. Four - 5 people in the kitchen/register, chatting a lot. Yet I had to wait 10 minutes for a three piece combo that was not hot. I hear great things about their fried chicken, but after this I will not be eating jollibee moving forward.
