First time in NY, we needed lunch. I looked over top spots and found this place. The reviews looked and sounded great. Line was out the door. We had 4 people in our party and a stroller. We waited around 45 min for a table. The stroller was for our french bulldog, they were very pet friendly. We ordered a cucumber salad, everyone enjoyed that. I had the Kara Kin ramen. Added octopus and egg. Was a 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing. 2 others had the same ramen, loved it. One ordered a chicken dish, he wish he had ramen but he did enjoy his food. Ginger tea was also amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a great dinner and yummy ramen. The sides were great too! We had the Brussels sprouts, corn ribs, gyoza, and chicken skins. Very good food! The atmosphere teleported us to Japan. Super fun place Highly recommended!

🥘: 9/10. This is our first ramen restaurant in New York City! We were going to mamafuku but it were under maintenance so we came here by accident! Me and my friend really enjoyed their ramen! She got the spicy chicken ramen and I got the curry ramen! The curry is hot, flavorful, and rich. The texture of the noodle is very tender, just the way I like it! The curry ramen also comes with pork katsu and it is so good! Freshly fried, locking in all the juices and flavors! The chicken broth is also for nice and it is perfect after a cold night out. 🧑🏻‍🍳: 8/10: we went on a Tuesday evening, we got seated quite fast and the food came quickly as well! We also asked for a hot tea, but we were not informed that hot tea is $5 each until we see the bill. We have absolutely no issues paying for the hot tea but I would really appreciate if they can let us know ahead of time that the tea is charged. 📍: 9/10: Very close to subway stations. It is filled with Japanese elements both inside and out. The ambience inside is very nice and cozy. The space could be a little bit cramped but still quite comfortable. Highly recommend!

I think this is the best ramen I've ever had! We were visiting NYC from Toronto and stopped by here after walking around 5th Avenue for a bit. The wait was about 20 minutes to get in but ABSOLUTELY worth it. The ramen was practically addictive we couldn't stop eating, the staff was super attentive and efficient, and the atmosphere was very cozy. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

Nice atmosphere! We went on a Monday night! I forgot our server name she had long hair and pretty face! She was awesome. Food was awesome! Me and my son's gf had Poke and he had Ramen! We left nothing in our bowls!

Place is small and crowded but the staff is handling it well and very friendly. Ramen was delicious, I think the noodles itself were one of the best or even the best I had in life (and I ate hundreds of bowls already). Delicious rich broth, soft but crispy chashu, lots of flavors. Big portion. Definitely coming back to try more!

This is the best Ramen spot I’ve had in my life, and oddly enough cheaper than most places in less crowded cities like Orlando, Fl, Houston, TX, and SF, CA. The service was amazing, the staff was very attentive. The appetizers and drinks were top notch. I’m absolutely going back here next time I visit. Word of advice, get here as they open (4:30) or you’ll wait in a very long line.

This is by far my favorite ramen spot in the city! Their service is second to none and the atmosphere is cozy and warm just like their bowls of ramen. Few places prepare the pork chashu the way they do and you can taste it immediately! Every item I have tried here is so delicious and is packed with flavor that it is impossible to make a bad choice. I have been here so many times and it is great to see that they are consistent with their dishes tasting incredible every time. Don’t skip the one item they have on the dessert menu either! The matcha lava cake is the perfect way to end your time here. I highly recommend this place!

the BEST ramen spot in nyc (trust me I’ve tried a lot of them)!! if you are vegan or vegetarian, this place is a MUST try for incredible ramen. It’s so creamy, comforting, and flavorful while also being packed with so many seasonal and colorful veggies. I do recommend getting it Kara (spicy) if you can handle heat because their housemade chili paste and oil is SOOO good. Not to mention, service here is so fast and so so kind and friendly it leaves a lasting impression. Decor is also anime style and very fun and modern while also being cozy with all the lanterns. A simply perfect ramen spot.

The ramen is ridiculously delicious. We made it right before they opened for dinner and there was already a line waiting outside but it was definitely worth it. Recommend getting there early to get a good spot. We got the spicy house ramen & the curry ramen with the katsu and both were amazing. We will be coming back soon.

If you’re in New York and craving ramen, Kin Ramen is 100% worth checking out. The place feels cozy and stylish — kind of like stepping into a little Tokyo alley right in Midtown. The vibe is chill, the team is super friendly, and the food… wow. The ramen broth is rich and full of flavor, the pork melts in your mouth, and the egg is cooked perfectly. Everything feels crafted with care. I also tried the karaage chicken and some cocktails — both great. It’s a small spot, so you might have to squeeze in a bit or wait during dinner rush, but it’s part of the charm. Totally fine if you go earlier in the day. If you want something authentic, comforting, and done right — Kin Ramen hits the spot.

We were visiting from Boston and wanted to try a nice ramen in NYC. I stumbled upon this searching the internet. My wife and I fell in love with it. Their ambience was unique. They shop looks small from the outside, but when you enter, it feels like it has so much to offer. Their menu was uniquely illustrative. Their food was scrumptious. We were glad we tried them. We would definitely go back again.

This place is its own vibe and I loved it. You’ll wanna get there a bit early cause there is a line that piles on fast. The service was really friendly and attentive. Food coming out so fast.We ordered the Kin ramen,Tori curry don,corn cheese, and yakiniku.we waited there almost 20 mins at outside but pretty fast and quick service .Here is more details for food. Ramen is pork broth but I tasted like pork flavor more and nothing crazy for that.I really like the sweet cheese corn ,may be I am a lover of cheese. Beef has lot of fats ,oily and I feel we didn’t eat nothing that much .at least still delicious.Service, they are busy at all but take care for us .

No reservations and you must line up. For weekend dinner, expect lines lasting until after 8/8:30. Weekdays might be better. The raman is pretty good - the fried purple yam is great too. Desserts are great. Average cost is $20-30 per person - more if you order drinks. Seats are tightly arranged and it’s a bit cramped but it’s manhattan so many restaurants are like this. Overall would recommend it - especially if you love raman noodles. 🍜

Small cozy place very close to Carnegie Hall, space is pretty tight, if you're coming with a party of +6, there's only one section that can accommodate you, other than that is great, food was perfect, the Ramen bowl I had was well balanced, the broth was creamy and full of flavor, the noodles had the bouncy chewy texture you expect from a good ramen bowl. Had 2 drinks, the Umai was exquisite: a mixture of sweet, spicy and a hint of salty. The Nani on the other hand, a total disappointment: I don't know what caused the weird flavor but I can only describe it as to like drink paint, avoid that one at all cost. Apart from that, a very nice experience.

I originally visited in 2023 summer and went back in 2025 winter. Everything is 'ok'.. I didn't leave a review in 2023 as it was a normal ramen shop with no line and nothing had stood out, but given the extremely long line in 2025, wanted to leave a review for my future reference and others. I personally wouldn't stand in line for the food. The decor is cute and Instagramable, but the food is ok (plenty of options in NYC) and the service is extremely rushed. Every staff is rushed to get people in and out the door (given the line outside, I get it) but it's not a pleasant dining experience. We had 4 people in our party and 2 dishes came out significantly ealier than the other 2 dishes. Given the usual decency to wait for the rest of the table to get their food, by the time we all got our food, ramen was already cold. The wait staff also came to ask if they can take the food away 3 times while we were eating. My friend decided to stop eating after being asked 3 times. If there are no lines and probably no rush, it's an ok ramen place for a quick meal. If there are lines outside, expect being rushed+ I personally don't think it's worth the wait.

Decent food, cute place, insanely, criminally overpriced. Ignore the line and go to shinjuku ramen a block away. Way better and Less expensive by a mile. For some reason the vegan ramen we got was incredibly bland and flavorless. Mostly just noodles. Would have been fine for 16 or even 18 dollars but at 26 it’s a total joke. Not even close to being worth the price. Ten dollar tiny beers and 14 little dumplings. (Only five so it’s hard to share). Would never go back here.

Great vibe, but honestly not worth the hype. The ramen felt more fusion-style than traditional. Portions were okay, but I kept questioning why a bowl costs over $30; it felt overpriced for what you get. The gyoza especially was disappointing: 5 tiny pieces for $14 is hard to justify. ** UPDATE ** 3/3/26 I’m even more disappointed after reading the owner’s response to my review. Instead of taking accountability, the replies feel dismissive and defensive. The guy who was on the phone NEVER offer a refund or anything, not even a good solution nor asking if i was ok or seen the doctor. My experience was very different from what is being portrayed. The food was mediocre, the service lacked professionalism, and the overall quality does not justify the rating. Transparency and honesty would go a long way here. ///// I had a very upsetting experience after eating here at Kin Remen NYC. (I was there on 2/21/26 at 1.15pm) The ramen itself was only okay — not impressive. The noodles was soggy and felt like rotten, a soup was not fresh and oily. Several hours after eating there in the afternoon, I developed severe stomach cramps late at night. By early morning, I had diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, and felt like vomiting. It felt exactly like food poisoning. I am confident it was from the ramen, as I did not eat anything else the entire day. I called the restaurant to inform them, but the response was extremely disappointing. The staff said they didn’t know what to do, didn’t even ask for my name or phone number (I had to tell him whether he needs my details) and they just made no effort to follow up. They only said they would talk to the chef and suggested I come back again — which is honestly shocking. After getting this sick, why would I ever return? This shows a serious lack of responsibility and customer care. The pain was unbearable, and to make things worse, this happened during a snowstorm, so I couldn’t get to the emergency room. I suffered all night and had to buy Imodium with my own money. I am still not fully recovered and may need to go to the hospital. I hope the restaurant improves its food safety and properly trains staff to handle situations like this, because no customer should have to go through this. Totally regret every penny I paid for this place.

Just awful. It is a long wait, and then we were crammed in a very uncomfortable seat shoulder to shoulder with another table. There was nowhere to put my legs so you have to straddle the table and sit as close as possible so you don’t get bumped by someone as they are walking by. Personal items go into a crate next to the table, which was terrible because the ramen slurpings between 2 tables got soup drippings on my stuff. Just sitting there was an uncomfortable nightmare. The ramen was not tasty either. It wasn’t Japanese style ramen. Do not recommend.
