Opinions de Mad For Chicken New York
For a early Friday dinner Resturant service was courteous, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was rustic and chill vibes. Food service was made to order, fresh and wings, sandwiches, rice bowl and seafood boil was delicious. Will visit this location.
We love the food, The wings are the best. We have the glass noodles also, it was amazing. The bowl was average.
I always recommend family and friends to visit this location. For the past few years ive been coming here and I honestly love it. The only issue I have is with the service. I don't know if the servers are easily overwhelmed, but they don't greet with you warmth. Idk if it's because I'm Hispanic, but I have gotten cold service from the servers. God forbid if you ask them for a recommendation they roll their eyes. But when a Asian person comes in I noticed how the servers cater to them and treat them with the utmost respect.
This Flushing location of Mad for Chicken is my preferred choice. The wings consistently meet high standards. The Golden BBQ sauce is a classic option for those who are undecided. The BBQ chicken sandwich is exceptional, particularly the coleslaw. A special commendation goes to "Soyung," the bartender, for crafting an outstanding sparkling Leche drink. Patrons can expect attentive and courteous service at this establishment.
Came here a while back, but the food was amazing we came to try the Wings we got the spicy soy and soy garlic flavor wings and both were really good and was super crispy and packed with flavor. Also tried the kimchi fries and the kimchi fried rice which both I never had before was both good too especially the fried rice. Good vibe and good place to hang out with your friends and family!!
Best Korean fried chicken period! Update: Today we ordered the all you can eat seafood boil and fried chicken special with discount drinks for $45.99. The food was delicious, the seafood perfectly cooked, and the chicken was on point as usual. Shout out to Senior Server, Soy Yong. She was very attentive, patient and pleasant. She made the overall experience even better!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I recently visited Mad for Chicken Flushing, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely comfortable and welcomed. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting—perfect for enjoying great food without feeling rushed. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. Everyone was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and full of that signature Mad for Chicken taste. You can tell they care about quality. What stood out most was how effortless they made the entire dining experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in with friends, you’ll feel right at home here. I highly recommend Mad for Chicken Flushing if you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a place that truly values its guests! 👏🍗🔥
Ever since I saw the AYCE flyer, I have been wanting to come here. Finally, I had the chance to come with my friends. We came on a Saturday night, which means we have to pay $45.99/person rather than $29.99/person. While this is much more expensive, I'll still say it was worth it. Depending on your party size, that is the maximum amount you can order per section. This means a party of four can order up to four items in each section. Do not worry, you can always order a second or third or more rounds! Just do not order too much as they will charge you food waste charges. My suggestion: do not order the drumsticks unless you are hungry! Personally, I prefer drumsticks over wings. When I ordered the drumsticks, though, I didn't expect them to be massive. It is still very delicious and I would recommend you to try it, but, as I mentioned, it is quite large! For the seafood boil, the Garlic Butter sauce was tasty. However, my all-time favorite has to be the Lemon Pepper sauce. The sweet and tangy flavor definitely accentuates the seafood, sausages, eggs, and vegetables. All-in-all, come in with an empty stomach and prepare to feast on flavorful chickens and seafood boil.

My partner and I love absolutely everything about this place. The Korean style wings are delicious, we ordered the golden wings The mad-nachos are very thin but the flavor is delicious and they are perfect alone or as a side. We ordered the green grape flavor soju and it was a good recommendation. The service was very attentive and the waitress gave good suggestions regarding happy hour, all you can eat and the regular menu. Not only do they have wings or nachos, they also have seafood, the portions for all the dishes are gigantic! It's worth every penny. Of course we will return!!
OBSESSED!! This particular place has become my favorite spot to go to. The wings are AMAZING!! I recommend everyone to go try them. The house ones SOY GARLIC are top and if you like a little spice like myself try the Spicy Soy Garlic; (they do have other sauces). They also have bowls, crunchy yummy fries, and more appetizers, a variety of beers on draft and also bottles.
I had been meaning to visit Mad for Chicken for the longest time, and I finally made it out to their Flushing location and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the wait. While their à la carte menu looked solid, I couldn’t resist diving into the All-You-Can-Eat option. It was the right call ,we went all out. We kicked things off with a lineup of appetizers. The avocado salad was fresh and creamy, with a good balance between richness and crisp texture. The crabmeat salad was chilled and subtly sweet, light enough to ease into the heavier dishes ahead. The edamame, though simple, came out with just a touch too much salt ,not overwhelming, but enough to notice after a few handfuls. The tteokbokki which is a Korean rice cakes were coated in a classic gochujang-based sauce, spicy and slightly sweet, with that satisfying chew you expect. The fried dumplings, while beautifully crisp and golden on the outside, fell a little flat flavor-wise. The filling seemed sparse ,mostly just glass noodles and lacked that savory punch. I couldn’t help but think a mix of meat and veggies would have brought more depth and dimension to each bite. Then came the main event the fried chicken, served in all the right forms. I stuck with wings and drumsticks, and they nailed it. The skin was incredibly crisp, the meat tender and juicy. But what really stood out was the sauces Spicy Soy Garlic hit a great balance between salty, garlicky, and spicy. Serrano Chili was sharp and green, with a lingering heat that sneaks up on you. Mango Habanero was sweet at first, then fiery, with a fruity brightness that kept you reaching for more. Kickin Bourbon had this deep, smoky sweetness with a smooth, subtle burn. And Sweet & Spicy was sticky, bold, and dangerously addictive. Every flavor had its own personality and brought something different to the table they weren’t just spicy or sweet, they were layered. But the highlight? The seafood boil. We ordered it not once, but twice. The first round was bathed in a spicy garlic butter sauce rich, aromatic, and packed with flavor. It came loaded with snow crab legs, shrimp (head off), black mussels, green mussels, corn, potatoes, and hard-boiled eggs. Everything was cooked just right the shrimp were plump, the crab legs tender, and the mussels fresh. As an Asian, I couldn’t pass up pairing it with rice to soak up all that buttery sauce, and I also added a bulgogi over rice bowl on the side. The bulgogi had that classic sweetness, but this version leaned a bit too sweet not the usual balanced savory-sweet flavor I’m used to. It needed a sharper, more distinct note maybe a hint of soy or sesame to cut through and elevate it. Round two of the boil brought a totally different flavor profile. We went for the spicy lemon pepper sauce, and it was incredible. Bright citrus met warm heat, and together they made the seafood shine. This version came with baby clams, more shrimp, mussels, potatoes, kielbasa sausage, and eggs. The sausage soaked up the sauce beautifully, and every element had a bold, zesty edge that made it completely different from the first round. It felt like we were experiencing two entirely different dishes both excellent in their own way. To wrap it all up, we ordered the molten chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. A classic pairing, but done right the cake was warm and gooey in the center, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with the cold, creamy vanilla ice cream. It was indulgent without being overwhelming a smooth finish to a feast. Even with a few minor hiccups, the meal was overwhelmingly satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, and despite how much food we ordered, everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The space had a casual vibe, but the food felt like it belonged somewhere more elevated. Overall a good experience and will be back.
At first glance from entering we saw the $29.99 all you can eat deal running from Monday to Friday from 11AM-5PM, so what better way to spend a reasonable amount of money at Mad for Chicken instead of Cast Iron Pot which is quite literally next door to it. We walked inside 4:00PM around that ball park, asked for the all you can eat deal , and thought to ourselves it’s a deal no one can resist…. WRONG, upon ordering and ordering, the food came out in a fast manner and very tasty especially the wings. When it came down to paying, we got the check for $100 + without tip, and reviewed it and saw we came in on time and we didn’t order anything extra besides the all you can eat for two. (Which should total to be around $60-$70) upon asking why this is the total the server then proceeded to tell us that we came in too late… how? We came in between the $29.99 hours of service. She then proceeded to say that they end of the deal at 3PM… when everywhere else around the restaurant clearly says 11AM-5PM. Until now, there was no actual reasoning or answer to why we got charged more than we should have been. Matter a fact, we actually got blamed for not coming on time and for not reading properly?? No sorry, I’m not the type of person to make a complaint or to write a review but this was very misleading. Overall Service was amazing, food was good. But like I said, if I knew we were going to pay $49.99 each we would’ve walked into Iron Pot where they serve even better food and tastier for about $10 more.
Chicken has gotten a little sloppy and inconsistent. Some come out pretty dry. Overall, it's a nice time but expect some inconsistencies. The big loser was the AYCE boil. Ordered some eggs and corn with the garlic butter along with the seafood. They tasted like straight dish rags. Like they were boiled in dirty rag water. We chucked them and continued on the average, yet alright for the price, crabs and shrimp.
We came here because we see the great reviews, we decided on the regular menu at first but later on asked about the all you can eat. We got convinced to do it because we came at 4:45 and thought we would be doing the $29.99 from 11am- 5pm special. At then of our meal, we asked for our check and they charged $45.99 each, blamed us for not reading the menu. The lunch special stopped serving at 3pm no where says that or were told so. Food was okay, it’s just basic food. Mango Habanero was VERY VERY HOT for some reason. my last time going for sure
