I'm stuffed.
I get from this place over and over again, big place with clean seats and tables for people that doesn’t have space or want to not eat at their workplace. They’re not cheap with their food gives u more than you can finish. The taste is absolutely amazing! They should open one more I told them lol. Going to get it again later today

Used to come here back in high school all the time for affordable eats. They give soooo much food, always had to split with my friends to finish. So glad it’s still around!
Me and my parents had four dishes one soup are very delicious food and we enjoy it ~~~😋😋😋
Been an affordable place with great comfort food for a while. Lots of options. Miss having the soup tho.
Very cheap for 6$ having plenty of choices and kind service. Food is not bad. Never expect more than that in NY for $6
Must go mini buffet in flushing, 1 meal within $10 that can almost feed 2 ppl, surprisingly Food actually taste Good
Very good affordable food at this unpretentious hole in the wall Chinese Lunch style restaurant. Ample choices to accommodate most palates.
Amazing soups and awesome congee! Best soup is the roast duck soup with noodles, pork and shrimp wonton and a boiled egg
The price, options, and authentic taste..so good and worth it. This is my new go to spot!!
Delicious food at a really low price. The food isn't high quality but it slaps.
This place is great for chinese. Whenever i go downtown Flushing this is my place for eating. Love the varety💖 might not suit everyone.
Surprisingly the food served are very healthy, and reasonably priced. A very rare combination.
Great food for a modest price --$8.99for a complete meal.
The food is so good you get to pick what you want to eat you may get up to 4 different foods
What could i say, i just love this place since junior high school which was i dont know 15 years ago? Although i cant visit as frequently now.
Food is healthy and authentic and very filling. 4 sides plus white or brown rice all for $6.50. Unbeatable price. Not much elbow room. I sit close to the window facing the street and watch people walk by. A lot healthier than a visit to a fast food outlet. You have a nice selection of green leafy vegetables and different kinds of meat and fish.
Extremely cheap food, quality is less than a typical restaurant obviously but it doesn't taste half bad. Selection is decent, it's a place you can go to pretty much every day. As the name suggests, it's $6 for a rice or noodle plate with up to 4 side dishes which include americanized Chinese food and actual Chinese food. And you also get a mild seaweed soup.
Quick and easy, food was good, and there's lots of choices. We got a lot of food and a bottle of water for $9/person. Parking is a challenge in that part of flushing. We'll be going there semi regularly.
A big hot meal can be served for more than one person! People are polite. No long lines ❤️Brown rice, white rice or noodles, plus choices of four dishes, plus a bottle of water and soup. Many seasonal vegetable dishes. A big hot meal more than enough for a person. The freshly cooked dishes come out quickly. The experienced cashier works quick too. You can be done in no more than 5-10 minutes. Dine in and take out are available.
Great place for individual to get a quick meal. Good Value for $10.00. Lots of choice. Enough space. Good food! I see steamed egg!
Best food and cheap, there’s a lot of choices!
This place is delicious!.the white rice is moist, the chicken choices are flavorful, esp the squid and o ctopus! Def goin back to try out the other choices. The aunties are nice and very helpful.
Listen, you're not gonna get michelin star quality of food here but you'll get a lot of food for $10. And there's a ton of food to choose from.
My comfort food spot😍 The price here is unbeatable. The aunties are so kind and generous with the food portions. This is an amazing spot to eat by yourself or with a few friends. Cash only—you get four choices, one rice, and a bottle of water. It’s as simple as it gets‼️ The food is always so tasty and fresh, and there are so many options to choice from and try out. I can never get tired of this place. People who complain and leave poor reviews here must understand that this is not supposed to be a lavish restaurant. It’s casual dining and self clean up. They’re doing a great service for the local flushing community for keeping the prices so affordable even with the exorbitant flushing rent and serving traditional balanced sides for the elderly customers! Literally nowhere else in NYC/flushing has this big of a portion size and wide variety of food for this kind of price. So if you’re a tourist or an ungrateful customer please reevaluate your expectations bc this is not Din Tai Fung or Nobu.
Childhood favorite of mine. Classic spot to eat good food for a cheap price. Yes, service isn’t supreme, but it is $10, there isn’t much to expect. That price is nearly unbeatable. They are nice enough, and you really don’t need to talk to them to get your food. I just point. Large selection, though kind of sad there is no more fish. Thanks to the large selection there’s always something there I’ll enjoy. Atmosphere isn’t a 10/10, but I’d love a good dine. Very casual but given the price and food it makes up for the other shortcomings. Love this place Update: They have fish. By the way must try the steamed egg
Moo
Not as good as in the past... but still a great bang for your buck!
My gf seems to like this place. I enjoy then weird mushrooms.
Nice choice of food. Very filling.
Good value
Its cheaper coz the price is $7.50 you have rice and 4 choices of foods and free mineral water...Me i choose veggie, shrimps, sweet and sour pork..and 1 more pork
Cheap food, large portion. That is why you are there. Sure there are tons of things they could improve on but at the end of the day they are the best deal in town.
Good tasting food. Not the greatest but decent for what you pay. Always have the same selection of foods though.
Pretty good food but the only downside is that there isnt much seating.
It's okay. Fast turnaround, traditional eatery. Very popular with limited and shared seating.
There's lots of variety in food. And it cheap. It's a great way to fill your tummy on a budget.
The food is delicious, before covid it was 6$ and it was a absolute steal.
Not a 3-star restaurant, but very filling and affordable.
BEST and Greatest deal in pricey Flushing queens. They no longer serve the hot soup due to COVID but you can grab a bottle water (room temp) in front of where you pay for your food. Great selection. I always get the white rice, which is choice 1 already then you have another 3 choices. Then I always choose one veggie dish, one chicken dish and one mystery dish. Ha ha ha.
Think this used to be called Lunchbox and they had one in Manhattan too. Super affordable buffet plate for $7 bucks. Chicken with broccoli, vegetable fried rice, sweet sour chicken, vegetables etc. You pick 4 or 5 items and can sit for quick cheap bite in flushing chinatown. 97% locals from the area eat here, but I always felt comfortable eating here.
Fast service and cheap price is what makes this restaurant a 4 star place. Always a good selection and usually not too difficult to find seating. My wife and I go here when we are wanting something quick and filling. Food is pretty standard but definitely good.
Went here during high school over ten years ago. Haven’t been in a while but glad to see it still open. Does anybody know the name of the Tofu dish with Kani and Scallion? It was my favorite dish there. Would love to know the name.
If you only have $6 to spend and need to stretch it into 2-3 meals, come here. The rice is absolutely gross but their veggie dishes and most of the meat dishes are decent. Soup is meh, I toss meat, fish and/or veggies into it, go into the coca cola cooler for the sriracha and soy sauce to flavor it. You'll be ok.
I like it. Everyone brought there liked it. Nobody ever left hungry. $6 is a great value. If you go close to closing you may get larger portions because they can’t keep the food and reserve the next day. Don’t be shy about sitting next to people you don’t know because it is always busy; in fact, I have met some very nice people and had interesting conversations with other patrons at my table.
Pretty good place for a wife variety of foods. It was all decent. The ladies there were really nice and helped me understand it all. Portions and price are also great
Great food at a great price! No soup however when I went, not sure if this is cuz of COVID or something. I was offered 5 choices and a water bottle instead. Only getting 4 stars as "5 choices and a water bottle" would be a more accurate name. (Water bottle not included in pic, but trust me they'll give you one)
Cheap place to eat. Some of the dishes are fushion and some are authentic. $6.50 for a lunch box and a soup. There is a line between 12pm-2pm. Try to avoid going at that time if you can; it gets super crowded and you have to be careful when you're walking down the aisle as you may bump into other customers. I always get the noodles and sesame chicken. The fried drumstick was not bad too. A lot of the older folks get the fish. Avoid the curry chicken; you don't get much potato and the chicken taste old. Most of the meat mixed in with a different ingredients like veggies taste old. Choose wisely. I had a bad stomach ache once after eating the food, so use your judgement and pray to the luck god. I'll still eat here though because the food is so cheap.
$6 for a meal of rice and four dishes with a soup. They have a good selection of Chinese dishes (approx 20-30 dishes), including vegetables, pork, chicken, tofu, pork and some seafood. Most of the dishes are average tasting. Soup was tofu, egg and seaweed. Overall, good portions at cheap prices. Can’t expect gourmet for this price. 🤷♀️
Just another Asian fast food place. Pick out 5 things out like 50 dishes
The food is good, but sometime they run out of vegetables
Price is low.
I didn’t think the place had many choices. I had a hard time picking four proteins.
Low cost and ok food. If you are Chinese you probably love the food. Many food choices.
Price point $4.99 per lunch box. Lunch box comes with white or fried rice, 3 choices of sides, YOUR choice. The centerpiece of this restaurant is where you get your choices. They have a large variety of sides to choose from. It is made fresh but will not last the 2nd day. I've tried it. Good option for on the go eats and sit down. Seating can be tough as this place is quite popular among frugal eats.
I loved their tangsooyuk but the jjam pong was just okay. In all the other places I've eaten at, the soup had a great smokey flavor. Here, the soup had a spicey taste but not much flavor. The noodles were really chewy but it wasn't good enough for me to give it more stars. I also had a jelly fish dish with mustard and though it could have been excellent, it somehow tasted a bit bland. If you get a craving for Korean/Chinese and are in the neighborhood, I'd definitely go but I wouldn't it trek to this place especially.
A bewildering assortment of Chinese dishes confront you and you can't even ask what the ingredients are - much less how anything is prepared because no one speaks English. Some of the dishes are quite unexpected - such as stir-fried cucumber or lettuce (both of which are quite tasty). I can't guess if the dishes are authentic or fusion, but it's worth giving the place a try. You are very likely to discover something new.
The Food was OK - four mains and a soup. Not exactly the finest Flushing has to offer but if you're in a rush and just want some quick buffet food then this is fine. I think what I disliked was the attitude of the staff. They were arrogant and rude - and I felt that they were mocking the people sitting in the restaurant in Chinese. Honestly these women made me uncomfortable so I don't think I plan on coming back. A shame - the food wasn't half bad.
Just give me one piece so small fish.i came several times but today i think service is not good
Dry awful food and over price food plus they stoled money.
Dirty place workers crazy
Disrespectful, ignores customer's opinions. Dry food, undercooked chicken, one of the choices was literally half bone quarter fat and quarter meat-ish thing sprinkled with massive disrespect. Will not visit again, and whoever is thinking about going, don't even its not worth your $6 for getting disrespected.
Food is great and all, but god the cashier talks like she has a personal grudge with everyone.
You should try hard to avoid the cashier as she has the lowest generous mind to give you food . The bathroom has been used as their stroges but It should be opened for customers lest we should be in a hurry on the streets looking for it . A food must come both with a soup and a bottle of water .The price for 8. 75 on one person must be downed by 30% to 6.50 . Certainly We are impatient to get much food in a larger scoop than small one for each choices .The ladies at cashier or at serving should show so much kind to us when are eager to be respected .Food, from Chinese to international one must be changed because some of us are Chinese but most are among multiful countries.we realize When choosing wrong ,we discover it isnot our taste .It is expected that it has a security guy and cameras to protect people from being targeted from a mental ill attacker .The employees make themselves more generous because we see many quarrels occur for food between them and customers who endouvoured to give enough but of that we despair compare to money paid to the cashier . We when in a place that is intolerable could not bring enjoyment to eating food with pleasure .One employee , washes traies near so much at the tables which are occupied by customers to eat food , should be removed to kitchen not to intrupt us because smell of detergents and clorox deprives us of our rights to be in a fresh air .When there we are obliged to spend the valuable hours in a comfortless junk food store. We are persuaded by this that the passion with lazy and an unagreeable manner the owner puts in the business is far from doing in success
I got no option so it's showing 1 star or else it would be 0 star, honestly the employees are extremely racist, if they see "Chinese" people they give you nicely sort out piece of meat or portion of food. I have been going there for quite long cause my mom likes the place even though bad service always. I never complained bout anything till today when this server lady gives me a piece of fish on my plate and while I am looking for something else she takes away the fish and breaks it and gives me a small piece back , It upset me so much that I told the manager and she talking like nothing happened and gave me cash back. This is so disgusting how preference discrimination exists and managers don't do anything to make upset customers feel good rather en give nonsense explanation "o it's just a fish" that's what the lady manager XIU MEI CHEN said, horrible I don't think after this experience I or any of my family will visit there cause they are blunt racist not that I pay less then any other of their Chinese customers, extremely rude
I had a bad experience today when I saw same set of serving spoons used from one food to another with sauce dripping all around. I told the serving lady to put different spoon to each menu but she was angry she left me. So I did not complete my 4 choices. Much more the fried rice is already spoiled. These made us unhappy we trash our food away.
They rolled out the garbage when I started to eat & did not care it was bothering people. The staff was rolling garbage in filthy bin from the kitchen to the front of the restaurant passing right through everyone. I lost my appetite & couldn't eat. There were 2 women between the food station who controlled the portions. If you tell then you don't want something, they still give it to you. They used 2 spoons to serve everything. I heard one of them yelling at various people.
UPDATE: No more fish dishes, apparently -- haven't seen any for several months now. Also, can run out of veggies and brown rice for some reason! Finally, the take-out containers don't hold as much food as the dine-in trays! Deducting two stars as a result! Original Review: More than twice the selection as compared to the typical "Chinese boxed-lunch" (i.e., cafeteria-style) establishment as well as more than twice the seating space, too. Note that the rice which typically comes with the meal is counted as an entrée in itself; thus, the "5 and soup" advertised really means four dishes plus the rice and soup (though the awning outside states "four choices and soup"). But there's a selection of white, brown, or fried rice, another unusual thing about this place. Unfortunately, most everything is barely warm and often "room-temperature cold" -- typical for "Chinese bento" unless you catch 'em just when they open (and even then truly hot food isn't necessarily guaranteed; just that this is the best chance at it)....
Horrible service!!! The ladies here were being very rude and dismissive, repeatedly yelled crap about my friend behind her back just because she needed a sec to think about what dishes to choose since there were so many options. Upon confrontation the ladies claimed they were talking about another customer. Really?? This is how they treat customers. Don’t waste your money here.
Bad service. The lady saw my dish and didn't wanna give meat when we asked instead gave us something else and said we already had other meat so we can't have. Wow where in the world did it say you can't have 3 meat dishes? It's 4 choices! Choice means you can choose whatever and NOT skip on giving. They are cheap and gave a squished water bottle. I'm appalled as I had been going here for 10 years and this never happened before. If there is such rule then should put it up. Don't mislead people!
From reviewers and social Media reviewer that talk about this place must be out of their mind or they must tell them that there reviewers no way was the place full of food!!! a lot of empty trays. nothing to pick from and everything was full of salt and MSG tasted horrible. I would’ve gave no stars for food if i was able too!!!
I hate to complain but their fried rice was spoiled. I didn't bother touching it. One reason it got spoiled so easily was that they only used one set of serving spoon/ladle for everything you ask them to serve you (ex: pork, shrimp, vegetable, soup,...) So, if you're allergic to shrimp, pork, or any other types of food, I'd say find another place. This one is not for you. Otherwise, they'd give you the weird look if you complain.
