Wowowow! Jeffrey was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible and the food was to die for 🥹♥️ they do not play when it comes to high quality and amazing dishes here. Will be back!
Had an absolutely lovely omakase experience here. Every bite was an incredible dive in Japanese fine dining. The sushi was fresh and innovative. It ranged from melt in your mouth goodness to refreshing and airy. The sake was top knotch and the service excellent. Really great intimate time. Would come again. Highly recommend!
Really great omasake experience. Super fresh sushi pieces. chef Jeffrey is really knowledge to every pieces and welcome you with warm hospitality. the waiters are really polite and attention to detail. always notice the our needs befe we even have to ask. would recommend!!! and will be back in the future.
Sushi Lin is an excellent Omakase! Unique and high quality. Chef Jerry provided great service.
This was the best omakase experience I’ve had. We opted for the 12-course menu, and every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We even ordered a few extra favorites: - Tuna with truffle - Fatty toro tuna + uni + caviar + gold flakes (my favorite) - Scallop We paired it with cloudy nigori sake. The cozy setting made it feel intimate and exclusive. Service was fantastic—the chef was warm, welcoming, and happy to chat. Highly recommend this spot for top-quality omakase at a great value. Can’t wait to return!
From the moment I sat down at the sushi bar, I knew that this was going to be a unique dining experience. The chef greeted me warmly and asked if I had any dietary restrictions or preferences. We had the 17-course option. Lin was our chef of the day. Each course was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The fish and other ingredients are very fresh. Lin explained all the dishes as he served it, providing insight into the ingredients, flavor and technique used in its preparation. One of my favorite course was the salmon sushi topped with tomato. The melt in your mouth and the flavor of it incorporate very well with the salmon. The service throughout the courses are outstanding! Overall, it’s one of the best dining experience I have ever had.
Overall very good experience. You taste the freshness in every piece, and there is great creativity in a couple of the pieces as well. The king salmon with tomato on top was an interesting idea and very delicious. The service is friendly, and is definitely on the faster end as they do more seatings, but for the number of nigiris you get with the price, there is great value. The quality of food here does not lose to some of the Michelin-started sushi places in the city. Will be back.
This was an amazing sushi experience. Is it hard to find great affordable omokase in the city. The atmosphere of the restaurant made you feel so relax. The sushi chef Lin was nice and explained to us the different kinds of fish. Came with my friend and we were both pleasantly enjoyed all the food. A must for any sushi lover who are looking for great sushi experience and great quality fish. We will try the 17 course omakese next time:)
Absolutely amazing experience at Sushi Lin. The sushi were outstanding, the atmosphere warm and cozy, and the personal touch from the chef was so unexpected and special. A favorite in the city and I’ll definitely be back!
Came here to celebrate my birthday and it was such a nice experience. We had the 17 course omakase and the sushi fish was super fresh and well paired with interesting flavors. Our favorite was the one with tomato (that looked like bacon)! It was also super nice to talk to the chefs — they were great and recommended some other omakase spots around the globe. Thank you Jerry and Jeffrey!
I agree with the great reviews here. I think that there are a lot of good sushi restaurants that have great fish and excellent materials. This one stood out because of the interesting combination of flavors that they used on each individual piece. We got the 12 piece Omakase. Some of our favorites were the Hamachi with Shishido on top, the the fatty tuna, they had a piece of sushi with a fried tomato on top that was interesting, and the scallop had zest on top which added a complexity that I enjoyed.
Such a great experience! This was genuinely some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. Fresh fish, beautiful combination of flavors and very nice service. I would definitely recommend this spot to others!!
Arrived on a Thursday evening for a birthday dinner. The service from the moment you enter to the second you leave was well thought out. The pieces that stood out to me the most were the uni, the toast with the caviar and tuna and the sweet shrimp. The chefs create a unique perspective of traditional omakase that adds their own twist and flavor to each bite sized sushi they put in front of you. It’s like sitting in the front row of NYFW, it keeps you on your toes! The pieces were on the smaller side, more rice or fish would both be appreciated. The service was very quick, but the chefs were able to execute efficiently.
I had nothing short of a phenomenal experience at Sushi Lin Soho. The mouthwatering ensemble of inspired dishes would leave you wondering which piece “exactly” is your favorite. High-quality sashimi and sea urchin, great vibe and affordable. Highly recommend!
Great entry level omakase experience. The place wasn't busy when we went. I reckon you usually don't have to fight to get a spot there. Not super filling if you are a male but you're fine if you grab a boba and snack after. Great service though! Chefs and staff were very friendly.
The sushi was very high quality! A very well priced 17 course omakase at $125. The most notable pieces were the sweet shrimp with lemon zest and the salmon with torched salted tomato. The latter was a perfect fusion of flavor and texture that is sure to impress even the most avid omakase customers. The service was also great. They were very patient with us. They mentioned they had reservations at 7 and needed the space by then, but welcomed us as walk ins at 5:45 and did not make us feel rushed when we all arrived started an omakase around 6 pm.
Excellent omakase spot! Great value for what you’re getting. We got the 17 course omakase with a bottle of sake and everything was great. Chef was friendly and even asked for mine and my wife’s tolerance for wasabi (in case we wanted less). Loved our experience.
This is the place. We had an absolutely perfect dining experience. After a bad time at another Italian place in the neighborhood we hoped this would make up for it and good lord, did it ever. The wild boar ragu, the burrata, and the cacio e pepe were outstanding. Perfect service and great food. The atmosphere is quite cramped and you will need to move your table to get in and out, be aware. If you're claustrophobic or fat you might have a bad time but otherwise just be aware it's a small place with a lot going on. The wine list is nice and the prices are really reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend booking a table, I wouldn't want to be a walk in here.
We ordered pasta, eggplant, and tiramisu. The tiramisu was traditional and really stood out, especially since it’s made fresh right in front of you. The pasta was good and well prepared, while the eggplant tasted a little bland. It’s a nice place for a cozy dinner with a warm, intimate atmosphere.
We popped in here between visits to the Museum of Ice Cream and The Color Factory in SoHo. The food was delicious and reminded us of our time in Italy last summer. It was my daughter’s birthday weekend and they sang happy birthday after I mentioned it and it made her day. Our waiter even charged my phone for me while we ate. I had the fettuccine with mushrooms (no pork).
Had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was authentic and full of flavor, with every dish cooked to perfection. The ambience was warm and inviting—perfect for my special occasion. The service in short was excellent. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy great Italian cuisine in a comfortable setting.
The place is quite small but cozy and warm atmosphere. Service is very good. We really enjoyed everything we ordered - especially the fried artichokes and meat on skewer. If you cannot eat rare cooked meat, make sure to tell it in advance. Also, I strongly recommend to spare some space for their lovely tiramisu & cannoli. Will definitely go again if I visit NYC again.
We walked in for Sunday lunch and were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed all the dishes—the gnocchi and the tagliatelle verdi were especially delicious! The arancino was fine, just not my favorite. The service was excellent, and overall we had a great experience eating here!
I’ve been to Sicily before and the food here is definitely authentic, definitely among the best Sicilian cuisine we can find in Manhattan. We loved everything we got here, especially the eggplant caponata, the swordfish pasta and lobster pasta. The pasta dishes were served directly in hot pans family style (like how Italian grandmas do it). They give you plates to dish them out yourself. Each pasta dish is ample enough for 2 people to share. Honestly the portion size is so generous I sometimes wonder how they manage to make any profit! The lobster pasta also comes with generous large pieces of lobster. The complimentary focaccia is deliciously served with whole red peppercorns soaked in olive oil. Lastly, the dessert was a surprise! It turns out that their tiramisu was freshly made at your table! It was my first time witnessing how tiramisu was made: quite a show! The restaurant is very small (it has “piccola” in the name afterall!) so reservation is highly recommended. It is possible to walk in during weekday lunch. They even have a lunch special and daily menu written on blackboard. They have both indoor tables and outdoor patio seating, as well as a few sidewalk tables.
Absolute Excellence! Speaking as an Italian who has tried countless restaurants of this cuisine in New York, this is hands down one of the very best. I’ve been here four times, and twice was when I brought my girlfriend on her very first trip to the city. She loved it so much the first time that she insisted we come back on our very last day. 🍽 Must-try: the Chicken Milanese. The best I’ve ever had! The portion is generous — perfect for sharing. The Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms are outstanding, and the Tiramisù is truly top tier. 💡 Tip: book in advance to avoid waiting, especially if you’re planning to walk in. Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting — every visit has been perfect. For me, coming back to New York means coming back here.
The food was good, tasted fresh. I would go back. Service was helpful, very attentive. I put the atmosphere as 4 because the bathroom is very tight and smells a bit. I ordered what the waiter told me was good which was the tagliatelle. I love tiramisu, they taste more like like pudding but was yummy. The pasta was a little chewy but softer than expected. The truffle was balanced. The bread was toasted and hard, I used it with the sauce and that was good. Wished it was a little softer.
I ordered the pasta, fried zucchini, and sourdough toast, and everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The pasta was perfectly al dente and full of rich, authentic flavor—comforting and satisfying. The fried zucchini was light, crispy, and addictive—definitely a must-try starter. The sourdough toast had that perfect crunch, served fresh and warm. The service was friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. It’s a small space, so it can feel a little packed, but it adds to the charm. Great for a casual yet special night out. Will definitely come back to explore more of the menu!
This restaurant is absolutely worth it! Every single dish was made to perfection. We ordered a lobster linguine, and it was just delicious! The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and paired very nicely with black truffle mashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce. And hands down the Best tiramisu I’ve ever had! The staff made our visit even more special with their hospitality! Very friendly and welcoming! Thank you Rafael and Lucy, you guys are amazing! I hope to visit soon!
We had a fantastic lunch at Piccola Cucina Osteria Siciliana in New York! The place has such a warm, authentic vibe – it really feels like a little Sicilian gem in the middle of the city. The lunch special is an amazing deal: for around $16–17, you can choose from almost anything on the menu – and the quality is top-notch - full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. A special shout-out to the servers, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back – this place is a must-visit if you’re in SoHo and craving authentic Italian food without breaking the bank!
Really good experience eating in here! Love the lobster linguine! Everything is delicious but a little bit salty but very tasty! The service is really good too. We ordered three pastas, a steak, and a bottle of white wine and the bill is not that pricy it’s $270 for three of us! Also, the steak with mash potatoes is 100% recommend!

This very tiny space of a restaurant packs such amazing flavors and excellent staff. We ordered arancino, bravas, lasagna, wine. The lasagna is spot on!! I would and could eat it regularly if I live nearby. I appreciate that the menu is small because then you know the food was well-thought of and quality/ taste will be amazing. Too bad the space is so tiny that it can make moving and eating difficult. I think some of the dishes came from next door and had to be brought in from outside.
We ordered a few starters to share. The tuna tartare was elite, the grilled calamari was really good, and the ceviche hit the spot too. Honestly, my favorite thing ended up being the crunchy bread with the black olives. That combo was crazy good. I wasn’t a big fan of the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, though. Just didn’t do it for me. Service was great and the place has a cozy, comfortable vibe overall!

We came here for lunch. We got a reservation thinking it would be packed, but there were plenty of open tables for walk ins. The food was very good.
An okay-omakase experience for the price. Most of the pieces’ flavors are overshadowed by the sauce and I don’t really taste the fish themselves. The tomato, scallion and garlic in several pieces added interesting notes. They charge a processing fee for credit card transactions, so be prepared.
The set was just mediocre. I have had much better omakase in the city at the same price point. The torched tomato course was the most special of them all. Decent experience but I was not overwhelmed by it. I likely will not return again.
Food was mixed: Bruschetta and Tiramisu were very good, Boar Pasta was so salty I could barely eat it. Restaurant is tiny and extremely loud. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you intent to actually talk with your party. Maybe worse, you have to listen to everything your neighboring parties talk about too.

food: we got the 12 course omakase. our favorite was their signature piece (salmon tomato), so we ordered extra; but a different chef made it, and it wasn't as good (it was falling apart and there was a little bit of rice). this was our 2nd time at an omakase, so we're not too experienced. idt omakases are for us though... it's just not filling enough, and we're not as appreciative of sushi as we should be. service: staff was attentive, always refilling our water. they were able to accommodate us when we arrived earlier than our reservation since there was space. they also gave us a free slice of cheesecake for my early bday celebration (it was a bit frozen though)
