Opinions de Pizza Pazza New York
Every time we come it's always an unreal, Wonderful experience. The staff is great and the food always hits
Decided to try Pasta Lovers after seeing a show in NYC and we really enjoyed the pasta and the marinara sauce, Sicilian quality. The restaurant is close to the theatre so we stopped in for a bite after our show. For appetizer we ordered the Breaded Mozzarella served with marinara and fell in love with the sauce, so fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the Baked Ziti and loved the dish, so full of flavor. My partner ordered the Ravioli covered with sauce and he enjoyed all of the flavors. Overall, great food and excellent service.
My family and I had dinner here and enjoyed everything very much. We had the margherita pizza, spaghetti and meatballs as well as the fettuccine Alfredo. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere. Bussers and servers are extremely attentive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the big Apple.
It’s a very good restaurant if you are a tourists, the food service was excellent (very fast to prepare to) me and my family would definitely come again the pasta are amazing!!
Absolutely loved my experience at Pasta Lovers! The pasta dishes were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The variety of sauces and toppings allowed for a customized meal that hit all the right notes. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Overall, a fantastic spot for pasta lovers, and I’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended!
Better late than never for this review! Especially for these guys, where I was fortunate enough to duck in on Christmas Eve heading back from the Rockefeller Center tree crowd, to find an absolutely brilliant meal, in a true New York City classic. Sat at the bar & shared my time with a really good mix of locals & visitors, and some excellent bar staff, all making for a great vibe. Food was flavorful & in plentiful portions. Cannot recommend enough the homemade Italian dressing for the house salad. Even brought a second one back with me! Went classic with the lasagna & was oh so satisfied. And yep, Tiramisu. (I loved it, but I confess I ALWAYS love tiramisu lol. It was damned good, though.) Was happily taken good care of with warm & friendly service by a couple of great guys behind the bar; these cats know their wine & their whiskey, can have a laugh with anyone, and can see when to give a little space. So! This place is legit. Many worry - rightfully so! - about getting suckered in by an overpriced, soulless, superficial tourist trap version of a “true” NYC Italian place. This ain’t that. Drop by, settle in, and enjoy. Salud!
We are visiting New York City from Boston Great costumers servis, delicious food & cocktails. The best dang Lobster Pasta I have ever eaten! You an half lobster with your pasta which is plenty. Rigatoni, spaghetti & pizza absolutely amazing. It is incredibly flavorful! The service & champagne cocktail was delightful as well! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back I recommend this beautiful Location in the heart of New York City Luis it was fantastic and very respectful gentleman Delicious Food and fantastic service. Thank you Luis. I will see you soon!
I wish I had taken photos of everything we ordered — it was all absolutely delicious! We started with the fried calamari and fried mozzarella, both of which were amazing. The sauce they served was so good that I wish they’d jar it and sell it! There were seven of us, including my sleeping toddler in a stroller, and the staff went above and beyond by helping my husband carry the stroller down the stairs to our table. Every entrée was as fantastic as we expected. I would highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors — you won’t be disappointed!
Didn't disappoint. We were recommended to this restaurant. It was amazing. They were able to take us earlier when we arrived. The server was amazing. The food was just amazing. We had salads and chicken picatta. Delicious!!
Loved it - I had the rigatoni broccoli rabe and sausage, which contained generous amounts of both very tasty sausage and broccoli. But that was nothing compared to the Nutella pizza and banana dessert - it really was a full size pizza base covered in Nutella, plus the banana. I had to be carried out :) Highly recommended.
Best meal ever! The pasta is homemade and the Tiramisu is made in house. The Rigatoni, Chicken Parmesan, meatballs and Tiramisu were very delicious! My blood orange margarita was very tasty. The restaurant is a fairly intimate and cozy with great service. It's in a great location, we got to Rockefeller center in a short time. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Delicious and fresh, made-to-order pasta dishes. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. We walked it off on the way to a show after a trip to St. Patrick’s. Lovely bread. Clean and fancy establishment but not pretentious. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.
i went to Pasta Lover’s after i saw a video online raving about this place and i was not disappointed! the food was AMAZING and service was extremely attentive. my entree, the penne chicken pasta, was the highlight of my meal. it is so delicious and i will be coming back whenever I’m visiting NYC.
Alright Pasta Lovers, prepare yourselves. First off, place was nice- I understand why its a local favorite. The appetizers ordered were the deep fried ravioli and the deep fried mushrooms. The outside of the ravioli was crisp and breaded to perfection, and the cheese just melts on your palate. The marinara served with it was smooth and flavorful. The mushrooms- now if you’re a fan of artichokes and have had stuffed artichokes, you know how you have to scrape the bottom off to get to the heart right? The consistency of the mushrooms were like a cooked artichoke heart- it just melts at a different rate on the palate. (Dare I say it should have a higher price tag in the menu?!) Second: Entree I ordered the chicken francese. Two chicken breasts and a bed of pasta. The pasta was filling- wasn’t short served, wasn’t over served. A whole serving of house made pasta not from a box. If you love chicken and want a to-go-to on the menu, you won’t be disappointed with this menu choice! Now desert…Tiramisu I have no words. They add a couple flavorings and whipped topping on the sides to add different dimensions to every bite on top of this authentic tiramisu. If you have doubts on dessert, don’t. Get this tiramisu- they did this desert justice in all its glory. (Also the best pick-me-up) Thank you Pasta Lovers for my first night experience in NY!
Pasta Lovers NYC is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet elegant atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring our meal was seamless and enjoyable. The highlight of our visit was definitely the lasagna. It was perfectly made—layers of tender pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese melded together beautifully. Every bite was comforting and flavorful, truly a standout dish. The portion was generous, making it great value for the quality. Besides the lasagna, the fresh bread with olive oil was a wonderful start, and the pasta dishes were cooked just right. Whether you’re heading to a Broadway show or just craving authentic Italian, Pasta Lovers delivers with delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend! This review is based on multiple positive experiences and mentions of the lasagna being delicious and well-prepared at Pasta Lovers NY
The pasta was out of this world! The Alfredo sauce was amazing. The Caesar salad was a perfect portion with delicious, juicy chicken laid out on top along with large pieces of mozzarella (I had ordered mozzarella as an extra)! Staff were attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful experience.
I would definitely recommend this place with my eyes closed. Customer service is 5 stars and the food flavor and freshness cannot be matched. Dennis is amazing!!! He is so kind, helpful and even funny! My sister and I will for sure come back soon. Flavor IS AMAZING!!! Please do not change anything, everything is perfect 👌 10/10
Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. We had two amazing dishes. The sliced bread & olive oil in spices was an amazing starter. We walked right in and sat down. The staff that waited on us were very friendly and professional. The food was so incredible. I cannot stress how good it was. If you’re in Manhattan I truly suggest giving this a try.
Went there for the first time when visiting NYC. We ordered two appetizers the stuffed mushrooms which were delicious. Fried mozzarella was also delicious but not worth the price. Two small pieces for $17. Not worth the price unfortunately. We order shells with bacon and broccoli in Alfredo that was very good. Pasta premivara no cream sauce very dry. Would not get again. And shrimp pasta was the same and only 3 shrimp and no cream sauce garlic butter sauce but again also very dry pasta. We ordered lava cake and had to add ice cream because it didn’t come with it and banana Nutella pizza for dessert. The pizza was absolutely delicious!! Our total bill came to about $200. The atmosphere and service was very good.
The vibe is nice and big enough to accommodate a larger party without issue. It's comfortable and a nice reprieve from the crowds outside. However, the service felt a little rushed sometimes and the portions were small for certain dishes, especially for the price.
I had really high hopes going in but left disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff was very professional and quick. The table side pasta cooking was fun to watch... But the good really wasn't very good. The appetizers were the best last. We got the mozzarella triangles and stuffed mushrooms. Then we got the chicken Marsala which was rubbery and rather bland. The signature pasta shells which tasted like a microwaveable meal. The signature table side pasta with Hennessy reduction which wasn't bad but certainly wasn't worth the $38 and was drowning in a pool of oil at the bottle of the dish. And then the spaghetti carbonara which was.... Okay. For the $230 price tag for everything... It was incredibly disappointing.
Ambiance (5/5): Plenty of seating in the interior that’s unsuspecting from the outside! During peak lunch hours there was only a few tables taken on a weekday. The tables and décor are a bit rustic/bare bones. Clean, open space, high ceilings. 70’s themed background music. Not loud so you can hear each other. Service (5/5): Since there was not many patrons, we were attended to fairly quickly and often. The food also was prepared very quickly—our party of 5 was in and out within an hour. Wedge Salad, Arugula & Orzo Salad and Burrata Salad were all okay salads. They are big enough to share as starters for 2-3 people! Chicken Caesar pizza was very generous on the topping! Linguini Frutti Di Mare: While the seafood portions were reasonable and the seafood tasted fresh/was NOT overcooked, the sauce was a letdown. There was nothing to write home about. Fettuccine Alfredo: Hefty portion of cheese and pasta—Can’t go wrong! If you’re looking for a good portion of okay food for a reasonable price near Times Square, this might be your option!
