Hello, first of all, I just want to say that the service, atmosphere and food were absolutely fantastic 👌 😀 👏. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was more then I was expecting, the crunch, the cheesiness was amazing, the tomato soup was warm and yummy. The Shirley Temple (no alcohol) I had was sweet, and contrasted nicely with the food I got, definitely would come again if I would. The Cheesecake was crunchy at the top, a creme brulee or something, soft in the middle and a little hard at the bottom, making a nice and sweet and a good texture experience. The atmosphere is nice, with you having a possibility of seeing Times Square from your table. With nicely plated food, a caring staff, and some BANGIN nostalgic music, this place is awesome, I recommend people stay at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan just for this place and restaurant. Also shout out the server Javier for being our server today, hope to see you alongside my family in the future! All 15 stars deserved!
A Pleasant Surprise in the Heart of Times Square While taking a walk through Times Square, I decided to look for a good place to eat and that’s how I ended up at the restaurant inside the Marriott Hotel. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was genuinely friendly, and I was happy to discover they’ve recently updated their menu. I had the scallops, and they were absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, tender, and buttery, melting right in my mouth. They were served with a mix of spring vegetables that were fresh, well seasoned, and just right for the season. It was a memorable dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks to the team for the great food and excellent service!
We are staying at the hotel and decided to dine in for a nice meal. Service was excellent and Shah was attentive and knowledgeable of the food and beverage menu. The Mrs had the steak frites and was very happy. The jus was flavourful and a nice touch I am told. I opted for the Short Rib and it was one of the best I have had. You really don’t need a knife it is that tender. Really enjoyed this meal. Good selection of wines and locally brewed beer. There is a decent cocktail menu although we did not try any this time.
Started the evening on the wrong foot, but thanks to Kayla, it turned into a wonderful experience! Celebrating 24 years of marriage with a pizza & mac&cheese, NY style! Thanks Kayla, really appreciate it!
Food was pretty good here. Ordered the Lamb Kebab with Cajun fries. Not sure what the red sauce was, but was nice and spicy for the lamb. We had 3 different people service our table in our short time there, aka staff was very attentive. After we ate, we caught a nice view of Timesquare right across the restaurant. Ultimately it’s in the center of NYC. It looks and feels upscale and is upscale. Thanks to Caren and her crew!

Great breakfast place with all of the classics on the menu. If you are staying in the hotel, then I would certainly recommend this restaurant before heading out for a day of sightseeing.
Don't normally eat at the hotels but looking at the menu the choices were fantastic. Greeted right away and seated. Our Server, Soner immediately came to assist and another employee brought us our water. Soner was amazing answering all our questions. We started with the Calamari which is not fried mixed with chorizo arugula and green olives. It was so amazing. You must try!! We had the pasta and skirt steak, both were totally amazing. You also have to try their old fashioned which is perfectly made. Finished off our amazing lunch with cheesecake and chocolate cake. If you have the time, make the effort to come here. Even more impressively was that Carmen, the manager made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. She was amazing.

The food was delicious, but I had the best waitress ever at Revel and Rye in NYC. Her name was Ruth and she made myself and my parents feel like part of the family while there. She was very attentive and kind. We went back twice just to have her as our waitress again. Thank you Ruth if you see this. Highly recommend asking for Ruth if you can!
Came here for Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well done. The buffet was huge and very well presented and spaced out. The employees were very friendly. Santa Claus was fantastic, and really went out of his way to take pictures with all the kids. The turkey and stuffing in particular was quite delicious. The DJ was playing great remixes of songs from the 80s and 90s. She knew her audience.
We were guests at the Marriot for a few nights. Our first breakfast was disappointing, we ordered a simple breakfast of oatmeal and fruit. After 45 minutes we had not received food while the tables on both sides of us which had come in after had received their food (some of which was the same food). Our server was inattentive and did not even bring coffee. Another server Jean Pierre noticed we had no food and had been there for a lengthy time and went to check on our order. He was able to have our order resubmitted and sent a manager over who rectified the issue. The next day we returned and asked for Jean Pierre, he was attentive and efficient - highly recommend asking for him as a server!
Lovely and spacious restaurant in the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. The breakfast was substantial and wholesome. A good variety. Friendly and helpful staff. Good seating. Good prices. Quiet.Excellent bacon and sausage!
The staff alone is the reason we come back trip after trip. We make it a point to stop by and see Mike, Adam and Tatiana….just because, even though we don’t typically stay at the hotel. It’s amazing to be remembered time and time again, complete with follow-up questions on their dinner and entertainment recommendations. We love the team - so in sync, talented in their craft, and no ego or pretense. Thank you for taking great care of us time and time again!
My husband and I had a drink here on Friday night, and returned on Saturday before seeing a show to have some appetizers and a drink (and came back after our show for coffee, tea, and dessert). Ruth and Mohammed took care of us on Saturday night, and they were wonderful. We specifically asked for Ruth's section when we came back for dessert. My husband told her it was my birthday the next day. We stayed until midnight at her request, and she came out with a dish of vanilla ice cream with a candle! She goes above and beyond for her customers. The food was good, the cheesecake was AMAZING, and we left full and happy. We will definitely be back!
Mariah absolutely went above and beyond for us. She didn’t just accommodate us — she fully took care of us. From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, professional, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible.

This was one of the best burgers I have ever tried in my life. I don't think there is anything that can be as delicious as what I tried here. Their drinks were great and the view from the restaurant is amazing. It's expected of New York City but the prices were extreme and just a tad bit cheaper would make it a perfect place. The other thing as well is that the salad happened to be the most expensive item because we added chicken to it which just seems a bit weird that a Caesar salad could be the priciest item just because of some chicken.
My husband and I ate here on a Saturday night before a Broadway show. The food was good but the service was average or below average. The chicken was well cooked but the sauce was too sour for me. The side potatoes & veggies tasted like they were a day old and reheated. I took one bite of them and didn’t eat the remainder. However, I ate all the chicken and Brussels sprouts with bacon. My husband loved the scallops and sweet potato fries. Our waitress was not overly friendly and didn’t check in on us most of the meal.
Stopped in here for lunch and had a good lunch. Chicken Orzo soup and Winter Greens Salad were good, but a little over priced even for the touristy area of Times Square. Food came out quickly when ordered, but service overall for taking orders, getting refills and getting the check was very slow. Overall a fine place for lunch inside the Marriott Maquis hotel.

The service here was great; everyone was. Everyone was kind and professional! Water was never empty. The food overall just ok. The simple burger was decent, but nothing over the moon. Fries were good and the baked Mac and cheese was a touch dry for me but had good flavor. Seating was an odd choice with somewhat low chairs complimenting some booth tables. Otherwise the atmosphere was standard and nice. It's a fine choice and they did well to get us to our 7pm show with our 5:15pm reservation. I'd give it a 3.5 or 3.75 if Google would let me.
Food was good. Service was very slow getting started but eventually we got going and it improved. I was surprised by how busy it was. It cycled through people pretty quickly but then some were working at tables like they were at a Starbucks.
We had breakfast and used our $40 room credit. OMG. Not worth it at all. I had the $29 All American. It was supposed to have two eggs but came with one. Only one slice of extra thin cold toast that butter wouldn't melt on. The Oatmeal was watery and only came with berries or banana but not both for $10. Go across the street to Juniors.

Reviews are NOT based on prices. Waiter could have been more attentive There was bones in my salmon Chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The sauce over the chicken was NASTY!!! Drinks an old dessert was good! Bill was $123.03 not including tip!!!!
Stayed at the Marriott for 3 days and have been at the restaurant for breakfast, for lunch and once for the bar. It is stylish, but it is really not good food or service. Breakfast is a desaster. Service logistics don’t work, the buffet is very disappointing, quality of food is also not good, no variety and healthy options are more than limited. Not worth it, also not a la carte, I’d recommend you go somewhere else. Lunch was also disappointing. The place we were seated had wet chairs, we had to ask to get it fixed and waiter was even complaining about it. Chicken was that dry it could not be eaten, Burger was cold, cheesecake ok. Service staff at the bar was very unfriendly. Actually a shame - such a nice and impressive hotel and the restaurant can’t keep up with it. The food-to-go and coffee in the souvenir shop next to the restaurant is better than in the restaurant - and the souvenir shops staff is very friendly as well.
I was upset by the hostess Alba that treated me as invisible even though I was standing right in front of the queue. She came over and entertained the 4 guys behind me instead of me. She even asked the 4 guys to proceed to their table until I stopped her and tell her that I was first in the queue. No apologies were given to me, and she just gives me a straight face. This is totally unacceptable, I hope the manager or management trained their staffs properly. The front hostess should be partial and should always give a welcoming face to all guests instead of cheesy picking. The bartenders are awesome though.
I have never given a review, but had to based on the negative service I received tonight. I asked for a medium well steak and received a very well done one that was too hard to chew. I informed the waitress who then told the manager. The response... we will give you a desert. I let the waitress and manager know that I was not pleased. They apologized and still never offered me a steak the way I requested it. Manager's name was Jose. The absolute worst service I have ever received in my life and I have never complained about service but I had to here. After this level of poor service, I will make sure to write positive reviews for all the great service going forward. Guess that's the silver lining..
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. We were seated at one of the worst tables while other better tables were available. The service was inattentive, and dirty dishes were left on the table for too long. I was also surprised that they refused to heat oat milk, saying they only heat regular or 2% milk. I would appreciate an explanation, as plant-based options are very common today. Overall, not the level of service I expected.
Dasha (the strawberry blonde long hair female) from the front desk is horrible: she is shockingly rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t say good morning to customers and she doesn’t have basic manners. As a frontline employee, I don’t think she is properly trained for what she does. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. She spoke in a harsh tone, showed zero basic courtesy, and acted irritated by simple questions. Hospitality is not just about food—it’s about how guests are treated. And unfortunately, this employee Dasha completely ruined the atmosphere. A breakfast buffet should feel welcoming and relaxing, not uncomfortable and hostile.
