We went out for a dinner. If I tell you the food was so damn good, it's a shame. The drinks was the bomb.com. Tom was making them drinks like a true barista!!!! You must come and enjoy the fresh food like we did....Thanks Tom again. Our bill came to 303 for the 3 of us. You also got to watch it those sides be adding up. It is worth it.

Everything about our visit was incredible! the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. The seafood was so fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The Cajun spice was so good- just the right kick and packed with rich, mouthwatering taste! Our waitress Bell was phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had the best experience possible. She really went above and beyond to make our night really fun! A huge shoutout as well to Sean and Tum, who were both so welcoming and added to the amazing vibe of the evening. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, amazing flavors, and top-notch service, Aqua Boil NYC is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended! 🦞🔥💙

We walked in looking for a light dinner and we walked away more than satisfied. We had the Lobster Roll and jambalaya, and both were delicious. My only regret after ordering was seeing the mouth watering boils coming out to others. We’ll definitely be back with a bigger appetite soon!

I went for the seafood boil but the shrimp, calamari, and catfish basket caught my eye. I've never had catfish before so it was the perfect time to try it. The flavors were good overall. Catfish was very soft and had great flavor. Loved the calamari and shrimp but I just wish there was more seafood. The plate went heavy on the fried and very light on the protein. To share, we ordered the corn ribs and as tasty as they were, they was too overpriced for what they were. If I go back, I will follow my gut and get the seafood boil.

We wanted to experience US style seafood boil and found this place very close to our hotel. It turned out the owner of the shop came from the same hometown then it just felt like home. They were a little bit under staff at the time so we needed to wait a little bit longer than we thought but definitely worth the time. We ordered shrimp and snow crab boil with Cajun sauce and added clams separately. Snow crab is the MVP. So sweet and so moist. Super fresh. The cajun sauce was also tasty, a little spicy and creamy. They offered a lot of sauce. If you’re Thai or familiar with Thai food, you can ask for the Thai style spicy seafood sauce as well. Their corn rib also super goood. Went so well with the ranch so don’t miss it.

Great unpretentious spot for good quality seafood. Best to make a reservation for parties larger than two. Plan to go with people you enjoy sharing with. Portions are generous and very tasty but a little messy. Missed having a little cocktail sauce.

Atmosphere was nice, super casual and messy! Full was nice, takes time sou est because of the process but it is really enjoyable! We got 2 lobster rolls, fried calamari and the combo, it was enough for four. You should try this!

My first seafood boil experience and I was not disappointed!!! I ordered the Cajun fries and a boil with snow crab, shrimp and corn, garlic butter, medium spice and it was DELICIOUS!!! Also had their peach margarita and they weren't shy on their pours. While it seemed that the servers were maybe a bit overwhelmed, if you flag them down they help you immediately. It's a messy, fun way to enjoy fresh seafood - I do recommend making a reservation though because it was a busy place!

A great seafood spot! We really enjoyed the delicious soup and flavorful sauces. The calamari was especially impressive—soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The staff was very friendly and attentive, offering helpful recommendations that made the meal even better. Highly recommend!

Been here 2x service is always good. The cajun mix is my go to flavor. I ordered the mad ocean wish there was more sauce but still tasty. Ambience is lively and has good music. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

Excellent good with good prices. The shrimp (4/5) and the crab (5/5) is succulent and flavorful. For $40 you can easily feed 2 people. They also have great Cajun fries (3.5/5). Service is fast but make sure to reserve cause this place packs up.

Aqua Bowl is a fantastic spot for Cajun seafood boil and perfect for groups and families. Our party of six adults, two toddlers, and a baby felt right at home, thanks to their super friendly staff. They serve various appetizers and seafood options with ingredients delivered daily and fresh. The portion was generous and more than enough for six adults at a reasonable price. The seafood combo was fresh and flavorful, and the lobster roll was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend for a delicious and welcoming dining experience!

I had a bold, spicy, and seriously tasty seafood boil at Aqua Boil. The flavors were definitely on the addictive side—messy, punchy, and totally satisfying. What really stuck with me though? The clam chowder served in a bread bowl that was literally the size of a human head. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled with rich, creamy chowder—it was impossible not to dig in.

Staff was friendly. The place is tiny. Only one restroom. The tables were small and not big enough to place your drink and food at once. Very very tight with multiple tiny tables where they are trying to squeeze as many people as possible. People side stepping to het passed your table. My suggestion would be to build a bar stool around the bar area and around with single - couple settings. Next, I would take away some of those tiny tables for 2 or instead of combining them for a guest of 4-6. Just remove them and make all other seats available for groups. That way you have more space for people to spread their legs a bit. And the food quantity is poor. I paid 55.00 for crabs and one tiny split in half potato. 👎🏾

Compared to the other seafood boil place down the street, I personally like the sauce (Cajun) here more, but one lb per person isn’t really enough to be filling. I went once last summer and again recently. The clams now have massive shells that prob take up most of the weight and they don’t give corn as a basic set anymore.

This was good but not the best seafood boil I’ve ever had. I would still go back and had a good time there. I really liked the aesthetic of the place. The corn ribs were very tasty. I’m not sure how the price compares to other places in NYC but it was pricier than what I am used to in the LA area.

Flavorless. The three of us ordered lobster (butter garlic, medium spice), crawfish and head-on shrimp (Cajun, mild spice), and corn ribs. It came to a total of $132 worth of disappointment. The butter garlic and Cajun sauces had no noticeable difference; we had to call the server over to double check our order. The “medium” spice had no real depth, just a peppery heat at the end. Overall, the flavors were flat and bland. The lobster was not cracked, the shrimp were not deveined, and the crawfish had an odd, off taste. We all left still hungry but didn’t want to order more. If you’re looking for authentic, juicy seafood boil, this is not it.

Had a terrible experience at the location. We ordered the 5 pounds combo of shrimp, snowcrab leg, and clam with the butter garlic sauce. Everything was a disappointment. The garlic butter sauce tasted like curry. The shrimp was not fresh and had no taste. The crab leg was super dry and overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. Half of the clams were missing the meat and the rest were very salty. After trying the combo, we reflected the issues with the restaurant and asked for a refund. They immediately took the whole dish away and told us that they don’t do refund. No apologies were given. They simply stated that their food was definitely fresh and no refund would be given. Even if the food had no issue and we were just unsatisfied with the food, it’s a basic decency to show a good attitude. Would advise all friends to avoid.
