Really really enjoyed my meal here. So quick and easy, affordable and delicious. Seriously will be back here soon, every dish I had was legit and it’s so affordable for this area. 🔥 They have a meal special for two under $50 that is a feast! Loved this chicken sandwich and the slippery eggs!

loveeee the slippery eggs + shrimp over rice <3 it was yummy, affordable and perfect for a quick lunch! most of the entrees are $15-17. We got their set menu for 2 people which is an app, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, a dessert for $49! my personal favs are the slippery eggs + shrimp and the HK style french toast! would def come back for their slippery eggs instagram: @jerica.feasts for more

I didn't plan on eating here but I'm glad that I did. First of all, they take credit card when a few places in the area don't. Second, the staff there was very nice. I will say that you have to scan the QR code on the table to get the menu, but it works very well. The order is accurate and you still get served your meal. I got the slipper eggs with fried chicken and Malaysian curry sauce over rice. It was delicious. I had two different kinds of tea and they were both good. The place was very clean when I went there. Not too noisy.

Sing NYC on Bleecker really delivers on classic Hong Kong comfort food. The roast pork, milk tea, red bean ice, fish balls are all just like Hong Kong’s Cha Chaan Tang’s. What’s really a great surprise was back patio. This little serene escape from the busy streets of NYC is perfect for a laid back meal. The service was quick and low key with very reasonable prices. Definitely worth to come when there’s a desire for a taste of home or just a solid and comforting meal.

Very convenient place to grab a quick lunch/dinner if you work/study near NYU! Quick service and delicious food, and fairly good price compared to most restaurants in that area. They also have vegetarian dishes.

I've been hunting for good HK cafes in nyc with my fam. While we usually prefer hole-in-the-walls in Brooklyn and Chinatown, we recently hit up Sing NYC, a trendy spot serving HK cafe food with a playful twist. While the pricing is higher than our go-to HK cafes, their dishes are presented beautifully and most importantly, remind us the taste of home. Their West Village location is a mix of space and camping themes. The backyard dining area is cozy and warm even in winter. There isn't any HK cafes in the area so it's worth a visit. *Slippery Egg Over Rice w. Beef 滑蛋牛肉飯 $14.99** MUST ORDER!! It reminded me of the slippery egg over rice I used to get from a back alley open-air food stall in Hong Kong. The omelette was silky and smooth, with a savory note from the cheddar cheese. The rice was drizzled with soy sauce for a more umami flavor. I got the lunch combo for $17.99 with a cup of HK style milk tea. Their milk tea was good and I loved the nostalgic mug they used. *Beef Rice Noodle w. Chicken Soup 牛肉雞湯米線 $16.99 ** A surprise hit! The rice noodle was smooth, accompanied by the sweet and clear chicken soup. It was a fancier version of 譚仔, a popular mixian chain in HK iykyk. *Beef Pasta w. Tomato Sauce 蕃茄牛肉麵 $14.99 Exactly what I expected from a hk cafe: nothing fancy, just ketchup spaghetti with black pepper but it was simply delicious. *Pink HK Style French Toast 草莓櫻花漏奶華 $9.99 To be very honest, growing up in HK, I've never seen "漏奶華" french toast until recently. I guess it is a trend influenced by xiaohongshu. The toast was deep-fried to perfection with crunchy golden edges and a custardy center. It was surprisingly not as heavy as it looked, as the foam on top was light and fluffy. *Pineapple Bun 菠蘿包 $3.50 *Little Bear Lemon Tea 小熊凍檸茶霸王杯 $8.99

Delicious Lunch I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch today, and it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a midday break. The staff was friendly and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable and smooth dining experience. The portion size was just right for a satisfying meal without feeling too heavy. The service was prompt, and our server made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. It was the perfect spot for a quick yet delicious meal, and I appreciated how efficiently they managed the lunch rush. I’ll definitely be returning for future lunches. It’s a great place for a tasty and fulfilling midday meal!

If you're a fan of photogenic food, this place is a must-visit! While the food was good, it's the drinks and desserts that truly stole the show for me. 📸 🥤 Grapefruit Bear Soda - Refreshing and vibrant, this drink was an absolute highlight! It's the perfect way to start off your meal and will definitely brighten your day. 🥥 Little Bear with Coconut Latte - Creamy, smooth, and indulgent, this drink was everything I could have hoped for. The coconut flavor paired perfectly with the Little Bear. A must-try! 🍴 Soup Dumplings - While tasty, these didn’t quite blow me away. They were a solid choice but not the standout of the meal. 🍛 Slippery Eggs over Rice with Malaysia Style Curry Chicken Chop - The curry chicken was flavorful, but it’s the drinks and desserts I’d come back for. 🍍 Pineapple Bun - Soft, warm, and sweet, this is a delightful little treat to enjoy. 🍓 Pink HK Style French Toast - Now THIS was a game-changer! Not only was it delicious, but the vibrant pink color made it an Instagram-worthy moment. 🥩 Roast Pork Bun - Tasty, but again, I found myself more excited about the drinks and desserts. The greenhouse in the back was the perfect cozy spot to relax, and the space-themed decor added a fun twist to the atmosphere. If you're in NYC and craving a photogenic food experience with some seriously amazing drinks and desserts, this place is definitely worth the visit! 10/10 would come back just for the Grapefruit Bear Soda and the Pink HK Style French Toast. 🌿✨

Stumbled upon a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant on the map, and it turned out to be surprisingly delicious! We ordered a set meal for two, which was very filling and great value for money, costing about $24 per person on average. Most importantly, the service was excellent! The waitstaff were very attentive to us and even offered refills on our drinks. I’m really happy with the experience!

The beef rice noodle dish is really good, right amount of spicy level, taste is very authentic Chinese rice noodle. Also ordered slippery egg and shrimp, and pineapple bun with chicken. Didn’t think pineapple bun chicken sandwich would be good, thought it looks interesting so we tried it. It’s surprisingly good. Interior is cute and warm. Would definitely go back again.

I’m so happy I don’t have to travel ALL the way to Flushing for this delicious food. My partner and I enjoyed our slippery egg with rice (shrimp and chicken) so delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection! The ovaltine wasn’t too milky nor too watery, just right:-) and after we ordered nuggets to share, DELICIOUS. 10/10 all around, the service was amazing too, very quiet!!! Do not let the negative reviews push you away from greatness.

the mango tea was quite good, if a little small and the pineapple bun with butter was very good. it comes warm and with a pretty thick slab of butter melting inside. the sweetness from the sugary crust mixed perfectly with it. however the hong kong style french toast disappointed me, it tasted oily. the staff were very lovely though i would try other things from here.

Definitely pricey but a cute and vibey restaurant for some classic Hong Kong dishes. The toast is probably my favorite thing, highly recommend that. The drinks are all pretty expensive and only the mains stood out. Specifically the spaghetti which was a little on the spicy side but very flavorful,

Tasty HK food that arrived quickly. I thought the drinks were quite sweet even at half sugar. I tried the slippery egg with pork which was pretty good overall though I wasn't impressed with the pork. The interior was quite charming.

The setup of this cha chan teng is cute; I like the decor picked out for this place, very fitting. Food was okay—granted I picked the least interesting thing on the menu (Vegetable over Rice in Malaysian Curry). Would definitely have to come back to try their most popular Slippery Egg dishes. Not sure if their AC is broken, but I ate in the shop’s heat on a 90 degree day. Not to mention it’s open kitchen so it was no fun eating inside. The waiter was kind to offer me a glass of ice water without me asking.

The Atmosphere: If you're coming with more than 2 people, you're liking to be seated in the outdoor "greenhouse" area. The tables are insanely low, you basically sit on the floor. My knees were up higher than the table (I'm about 5'7"). The Food: You order off their QR code/on your phone. It was a bit confusing to navigate. There is also very little options for a cafe. [Slippery Eggs w/ Chicken & Slippery Eggs w/ Beef] - the rice is plain white rice. The eggs were not very smooth. Overall bland. You could make better rice and eggs at home. [Pasta with Beef and Tomato] - the tomato flavor was very underwhelming. [Pasta with Beef & Peppers] - this was the most flavorful dish. Not too salty, very garlic-y which I enjoyed. The beef was tender. [Pineapple Bun w/ Butter & Pineapple Bun w/ Ice Cream] - the pineapple buns are NOT SOFT. They tasted a day or two old. The amount of butter they give compared to established HK Cafes is laughable. Barely 2 pads of butter. The ice cream in the pineapple bun just made the buns even harder than they already were. [Strawberry Toast] - there is barely anything that tastes like strawberry... mostly looks cute. [Golden Toast] - soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and pairs well with the sauces. overall pretty good and would highly recommend this. [Curry Fish Balls] - underwhelming curry taste. the sauce felt kind of watery. fish balls tasted like something you'd just get at the frozen hot pot section at the market. The Drinks: All the ice that the bears sit on just dilute the drink so much. Plus the bears themselves are iced already. The hot ovaltine being served with ice and an ice polar bear just negates the drink being hot?? Please someone do the drink math for me. The milk tea ice bear was good. A bold, black tea flavor. The Service: We were a party of 4. Three of us had already received our entrees but one did not. They brought out the pineapple bun with ice cream in the middle of eating our entrees. Why bring out the desserts first...? They forgot a few of our orders and we had to remind the waiter a few times to go check on it. The waiter also didn't speak much English because he had to grab someone else when we asked for salt (the rice & eggs were THAT bland.) Overall... Wouldn't come back or recommend this place. There's just not many options, the food isn't that good. I'd rather go elsewhere if you want classic HK style food!

TLDR: not much else could go wrong with my experience here, details below I came in right at opening time and for some reason the exact two items I wanted were not available, the pineapple bun and the hot HK milk tea. So I ordered the combo of slippery egg with beef and a cold HK milk tea. The noise inside the restaurant was unbearable. The loud music and the incessant ringing of all the apps and mobile orders pierced through my noise cancelling headphones. The HK milk tea came and it was way too milky. The food came and for some reason, they served me an ice cold piece of cooked broccoli which I didn’t eat. The rice had hard pieces in it that were undercooked, and for some unknown reason, they put a slice of American cheese inside the food… that is not authentic nor did it state on the menu.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely awful. The food was extremely unappetizing, and it even affected our health. My friend had stomach pain and dizziness after the meal, which is very concerning. The restaurant was almost empty the entire evening — we were the only two customers during 2-hour dinner time , which already felt unusual for NYC dining hours. The dishes we ordered were disappointing across the board: • The vegetables had a strange herbal/medicinal taste, almost like traditional Chinese medicine. • The noodles were clearly pre-made and tasted like heavy seasoning packets, with overpowering pepper and black-pepper spice. • The chicken-cutlet rice bowl had undercooked rice (hard and raw). • The Ovaltine drink was very watery and overly diluted, with almost no flavor. This did not taste like freshly prepared restaurant food at all — it felt low-quality, pre-packaged, and poorly executed. For the price and expectations in NYC, this was unacceptable. I hope the restaurant improves its food quality and safety standards. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and will never come again.
