Insanely delicious casual food! My wife and I have a new favorite in Hells Kitchen, The Jin. This place has it all, insanely delicious food, hip, warm atmosphere and extremely polite service. About the food, first, it doesn’t matter if you love Korean food or not, the place is basically pub grub, Korean style. The beef Bulgogi taco is to die for. The marinated beef is tender and sweet and boy do they pack it full. So much meat. And the peppers and Parmesan cheese add just enough flavor to make it pop. The Jin has a full bar too with local and Korean brews. My wife and I loved our recent lunch at The Jin so much we just booked a table for twelve next week to entertain our friends after a piano recital!

A tiny spot but very lively with great service, delicious food, and comfortable vibes. A great location, right down the street from Terminal 5 where we had a concert to attend. The employees were very friendly and quick. The menu is not that large but everything looked delicious. We were feeling like having fried rice so the kimchi fried rice and the Jin fried rice were absolutely perfect. The egg on top made it even better. The prices are pretty good and the portions are well worth it. I will definitely be back! Now for my standard comments. Location is kept clean and seating is comfortable. The wall to wall windows open up when the weather is nice so you get some fresh air even when indoors.

A solid choice for Korean food. The wings are tasty and the japchae was also very good. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced (for NYC). A good option if you want a decent but not over the top place

Tasty, quick, affordable, Korean food in a cozy spot. This is a nice gem in Hell's Kitchen. I got the fried chicken with rice and the chicken was perfectly done, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Will definitely be back!

Very cute spot with a limited menu. Korean fried chicken is the best thing on the menu. The spicy isn’t really spicy and is more sweet. Soy garlic is sweet w hint of garlic. A lil pricy for 11 wings but 8/10.

Did they change their chef? The food is completely different then before and not as good sadly. I used to come here at least once a month. The Japchae and Jin Fried Rice are much blander than before and have different ingredients in them (different vegetables). At least the friend chicken has stayed consistent and is just as good as before! I hope they revert some of their recipes to how they used to cook it because this spot used to be the best korean restaurant in the neighborhood.

The Jin was good. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was good, the host was nice. I ordered the Tteokbokki with the chicken Katsu, Korean rice, and corn cheese. the Tteokbokki with the chicken Katsu, The Tteokbokki was good and had a smoky flavor. I suggest dipping the chicken Katsu in the sauce otherwise the chicken is pretty dry and actually pretty tough. The chicken Katsu was the weakest point of the meal unfortunately considering I usually look forward and order Chicken Katsu. The corn cheese was good.

What a cute restaurant! I love the wide open overhead door with the street views. I was greeted with warm welcome and smile right as I walked in. I like the black color ceiling pain over the pipes. There are menus tapes on the wall at each table. The fried chicken wings/drumsticks are super crunchy with light batter. Would recommend the original over the soy garlic. The ramen was decent. The ramen was over blanched for me and the pork meat was not as soft. The fried rice with eggs was good, extra garlic would be even better!

Sadly they changed a lot of their menu and it is not as good as it used to be. They had my ultimate favorite tteokbokki, but now it is much more bland. Overall a lot of their food is on the bland side now (the soondubu was the worst I have ever had) which is sad because they were the best korean food in the city before. Very disappointed :( The service was great and the inside of the restaurant is still cute. Please go back to the old menu!!!!

Ordered a korean style ramen beef with poached egg for takeout and the order came with a hard boiled egg instead. The beef was also hotpot fatty beef and not beef meat I expected. Around $20 for a ramen, is not worth it.
