I visited Vive La Crepe in Hudson Yards this week. It was an overall great experience. When I got there, an employee, Douglas was taking a photo with a young girl with a cast and signing it, making her day, and an employee, Mariana explained all the coffees and flavors to me. It was an amazing experience, and excited to return soon!

I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to for my friend Douglas at Viva La Crepe. His vibe was absolutely immaculate—it was such a breath of fresh air to step away from the office and be greeted by such a kind soul. To top it off, he surprised my friend and me with free coffee, which meant so much on a day I really needed the lift. And honestly, it was some of the most delicious coffee I’ve had in a while!

One crepe (sweet one) was perfect for two. The Apple and Cinamon Pie is my recommendation! It was big and delicious. The guys were very nice too 😀

I tried buckwheat crepe provence i should have ordered regular crepe. Did not enjoy the buck wheat maybe try sweet crepe another time. Nice tables right outside. Im local but its a little too touristy for me girl made two crepes at a time. Other was for delivery slowed down my order

Extremely slow service. I gave my order and then came back in 20 mins, and they had not started my order yet. He apologized saying that ‘he was in the back and no one saw the receipt for the order’. May update my review once I eat it, but that is pretty unforgivable for New York service

The hot chocolate is literally just hot milk, and for 5.50 I don't think it's worth it. The crepes aren't good either; even though I ordered strawberries with Nutella, they put the Nutella on hot, which makes the strawberries wilt and become mushy.

I ate lunch with my coworkers at the Hudson Yards Viva La Crepe. I was thrilled when I looked online and saw that the offered a gluten free buckwheat crepe. Of course, as someone with Celiac disease, I know that any time I eat food prepared in a kitchen that has gluten, I am at risk of cross contamination. This is a risk I assume almost everywhere I eat. When I ordered my crepe, I told the cashier that I am gluten free and asked that they wash the cooking utensils, pans, etc. They agreed and makes my order with an allergy alert. My coworker went to pick up her crepe, and she overheard the employees asking eachother what the allergy alert was for. When the cashier said gluten, one of the ladies working stated “I don’t know why you’d eat at a place like this if you can’t even eat gluten.” My coworker told me this and I was appalled. I unfortunately have very few options to eat out with friends, and I unfortunately decided to give Viva La Crepe a chance. It is clear that this company and their employees does not respect food allergies/celiac disease.
