Excellent shop for traditional Taiwanese flavors. You can customize your drink with ice and sugar levels. If you like the flavor of traditional Taiwan tea without sugar, get something like Alishan Oolong. I added taro balls and red bean. Refreshing and a nice ‘dessert’ alternative.

Whenever I’m in Manhattan and craving milk tea, Wanpo is my go-to spot. I’ve been coming here regularly and they’ve never missed the mark. My usuals are the Oolong Latte and the Green Milk Tea, and both are consistently excellent — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. What really sets Wanpo apart is their consistency. Every visit, the drinks taste just as good as the last, which is rare to find. Service is quick and reliable, making it easy to stop by without a long wait. Wanpo Tea Shop is hands-down our favorite boba spot in NYC! Every visit is a delight, with their authentic Taiwanese bubble tea stealing the show. The Wanpo Milk Tea is a perfect balance of rich, aromatic tea and creamy goodness, with chewy boba that’s always just right. We also love the Oolong Milk Tea for its smooth, floral notes. The portions are generous—half the cup is filled with those delightful pearls! The service is quick and friendly, and the self-ordering kiosk makes the process a breeze. The cozy, traditional vibe adds to the charm, making it a great grab-and-go spot near Washington Square Park. I pass by here all the time and I always told myself I will always go in and grab myself some bubble tea. On a random lunch break. I finally did just that and I'm so happy I did! I got the rice yam milk tea and oh my God it tasted like cake. It was so good!! Inside the shop looks so cool It looks like a traditional tea shop and there are iPads so you can place your order. The service here was pretty quick and it's a nice shop if you just want to come in and take a little tea break

Matcha Red Bean Jelly Latte 抹茶紅豆粉粿鮮奶 - Oat milk, Less sugar, Less ice They used Uji Koyamaen Matcha, one of the most prestigious matcha providers in Japan. It gave the matcha drink a deep, rich green color which hinted at its exceptional fragrance and delicacy. The red bean and jelly added a unique sweetness and textural contrast. There were still a good amount of toppings sinked at the bottom after I gulped my matcha latte. Wanpo has now become one of my fav boba shops in NYC after I’Milky. Tbh the cup size was much smaller than I thought. Yet I’m still willing to splurge on their drink ($9+) because I wanna make sure I’m getting the best quality for my dollars.

I recommend everything here! I tried the red bean jelly milk tea and the taro purple rice milk. I’milky is still the best in taro milk but Wanpo has more variety to choose from.

Looking for Taiwan tea made proper. This place is it. Simple and they also have some variety. You’ll appreciate the taste of real tea, they brew here. We always get the smoke plum tea. Didn’t like it at first try but for some reason we always want to get it when we are close by. I haven’t seen anyone else who offers this flavor. I only get it here

Wanpo is one of our favorite bubble tea places when we were in Taiwan, so we were very excited when they opened up their first location in NYC. They are famous for their high quality tea with various options. The menu is currently limited compared to what they offer in Taiwan but decent enough for us to feel satisfied for homesickness. We got their Red Bean Jelly Milk and Taro Milk. The taste was delicious and close to the one we had before. We highly recommend to have less sugar for both drinks we tried since the red bean & taro were very sweet.
