I always come to the maki maki chain for local sushi and it’s my favorite! I received the best service from binta and my food was made with care and love because it was amazing. My favorite location!

Stopped in here on my lunch break for the first time and was thoroughly pleased. The food was fresh, the ambiance was nice, and happy hour was super affordable. The owner was there and was really kind to me as well as my server Kay. Will def be back!

A lot of sushi places are hit and miss but this spot was very incredible. The staff were very fast and efficient, got my food within a few minutes. Love the music as well, very fun and sometimes anime themed!

My family and I dined here from out of state and it was the first restaurant we were actually able to sit in and have a real meal and not just a regular meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and laid back, kid friendly and spacious. The food was absolutely delicious especially the Mac and cheese! Our server was awesome and we didn’t wait forever for our food. Highly recommend! They’ were able to accommodate all 11 of us and 2 infants with plenty of bathrooms and a baby changing station which was great. It might be away from the main attractions but it’s def worth it.

I got the salmon teriyaki with asparagus and lemon Greek potatoes. Loved it! Especially the salmon and potatoes. Flavorful , fresh, good quantity and most importantly healthy. I like that the place was not too loud and allowed for conversations.

I found a perfect lunch spot and not only. I ordered Grilled Striped Bass with Curry Broth. The food was delicious, flavorful and freshly prepared. The service was excellent as well. I’m glad that I tried this venue.

Visited for dinner on a weekday evening. Was pretty busy when we got there but they managed to seat us as a large party without a reservation (we got lucky I think). Service was spot on and attentive. Consensus across the table was that the food was excellent with decently sized portions. Buffalo chicken, and the cheeseburger, were standouts though. Only thing I would say is that it was pretty noisy on our visit. So much so we had to shout to have any conversations. I'm sure for lots of people that's not an issue :)

Service and food were excellent! We went before a taping of a show and Shiv was just so nice and made sure we made the best decisions with the menu. We had margaritas since it was “margarita Monday” and then grilled cheeses that were phenomenal, it also came with a salad so it was a large meal. My husband had the broccoli cheddar soup… it looked delicious. Will be returning!

Really enjoyed the food and service! The food and ingredients were super fresh. I really like how well balanced the plates were and the various options for market vegetable sides! The pesto chicken i got was especially tasty! We went during happy hour and got a couple of glasses of sangrias which is always great. A really good chill spot for good food and a good price. The menu is simple but from what i’ve tried the food is done well!

We came yesterday 4/19/22 at 2pm with a stroller. The staff was beyond nice and accommodating and allowed us to sit at large table away from the crowd. We are so grateful for the great service. My wife used to work around here and has been coming here on and off for the past 8 years. She loves the cosmos here. Also she dreams about the Parmesan truffle fries as well. So glad to have this place around for us to come to!!!

Makimaki is a casual handroll and sushi spot with multiple locations. Friendly staff, clean storefront, super speedy service. We received our order within 5 minutes. Perfect grab-and-go for a quick lunch. They really didn’t skimp on fillings — the ingredients were generously packed and extended all the way to the bottom point of the handrolls. The seaweed stayed perfectly crunchy with their unique handroll wrapper. We seamlessly took off the wrapper following the instructions. Make sure to enjoy your handrolls right after taking off the wrapper because it gets soggy fast. - Ikura Handroll $11 🌟🌟 - Yellow Fin Tuna handroll $6.5 - Spicy Tuna handroll $5.75 - Spicy Scallop handroll $5.75 🌟 - Spicy Crab cutup (8pc) $9.95 🌟 - Grilled Salmon Toro cutup (8pc) $10.95 Our favourite was ikura handroll — the ikura added a rich and slightly salty element to the handrolls, while the fresh shiso leaf complemented the rich and briny flavor of the ikura. We regretted not getting two or more ikura handrolls! We enjoyed the spicy crab and felt that it went really well with cutups. Yet in the meantime we also thought the three spicy handrolls and cutup we had weren’t spicy enough and the sauce were overpowering.

Customer service was amazing. Kay was one of the chefs he was amazing. The food was good. I just wanted to be a little bit spicier. I had the combo it came with the soup beans and two sushi Rolls

I came here by accident, and after I saw they had a a maple bacon bourbon old fashioned I stayed to relish inside. The decor is clean chic, and open . The white plays well with the menu and from the outside I thought it was a fru fru vegan spot. It has some healthy options but I stuck with hotdogs with truffle fries ( An extra cost of a dollar ) and a stiff drink or two. It's intimate on the other side of restaurant for a party of 2 or 4. Great place to relax, and enjoy the vibe.

Vibe was good and service excellent. Food was mediocre. The Greek Salad had saggy greens either not fresh or which say in sauce for too long. The salmon add on was dry.

My friend and I came across this place on a Sunday evening. The hostess seated us right away. We ordered the Birria empanadas for starters - so good! For our entrees, I ordered the market plate: salmon with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, and my friend ordered the market plate: salmon teriyaki with Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. We weren’t too pleased with the salmon (tasted a little too fishy for our liking and was very bland); however, our veggies were pretty good. I don’t think I’d order the salmon again - I’d try another type of protein. Overall, this place was good. The staff were very attentive and quick, which we appreciated. I’d give this place another shot and order a different dish.

Comfort food and great service. Arrive for Sunday brunch with 5 friends with no reservation and was accommodated. Gets busy on weekends and have been here several times. We had the southern bowl, eggs Benedict, waffle and Yuca fries.

Recommended, I always look forward to catching up on my veggie consumption here! Brunch is very good as well. I like this spacious atmosphere and warmly lit vibe of this location. Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. Happy hour til 630p. The veggie plate is the highlight, though I wish all my selections were consistently freshly hot. So many choices to choose from, but we were still a bit hungry so we also split the turkey burger is also good, excellent fries. Enjoy!

Overall mixed bag... Food and service was good but not the best I've had at Westville locations. Cauliflower was really good but Tofu was lacking in flavor. Drinks were good and even though we were the first guests for the evening, they were already out of their hibiscus drink that was on the day's special menu. The outdoor dining was very boring. Considering it is set up right next to a huge construction site, nothing was done to spruce up the area... just some plywood thrown up for separation. There were no signs for people waiting to be seated, which meant that ppl were hovering too close to the seated patrons. All that said, staff were nice.

I was there on the 17/dec at exactly 11.30am as soon as the door opened. The girl at the front desk was extremely nasty to me for no apparent reason..I believe she is Hispanic with tattoos on her hands with shoulder length hair..my intention was to dine in so I sat down but she kept telling me to cool myself..for no reason at all. So I then told the waitress that I will take my food to go instead..I've been visiting this restaurant 3 times weekly but absolutely have no intentions of returning. That girl should not be working at a front desk..she has absolutely no respect and no class..

If you have a food allergy, this is not the place to try. I have ordered here for lunch takeout several times and always felt comforted by the way they allow you to indicate any food allergy you might have, assuming that if the dish had that allergen, they would inform you so that you could avoid it and avoid a reaction. I ordered chili today, indicating my gluten allergy and knowing that most chili wouldn’t have any kind of gluten in it. As I came back and took my fist bite of chili, something soft broke and went down my throat like a noodle would which made me alarmed. Turns out, they put noodles in their chili. When I called to double check that the noodle I ate and saw were in fact ones containing gluten, the manager kept telling me that they’re egg noodles and totally fine for ppl with a gluten allergy but would double check for me since I kept pushing back, knowing that almost all egg noodles are made with flour. It was in fact gluten, I was given a brief apology and an offer to refund or replace my meal. I also was told to please call them if my reaction continued to get worse (which is almost always the case with food allergies). With food allergies the way they are these days, staff and definitely managers at food establishments should be well versed in their ingredients to avoid having customers accidentally consume something that can put them on the hospital. And when they get it wrong, they should understand how serious that is. This place doesn’t seem to have awareness of any of that sadly. So if u have an allergy, I’d avoid this place.
