Clousden Hill

Just had Christmas lunch for 5 adults and 2 children (12 noon sitting). The welcome upon arrival, the food cooked to perfection, and the service absolutely spot on. Huge thanks go to all the staff along with seasons greetings.

Had a lovely Saturday evening in here. The food was great and we ordered at the table through the app. The prices are very good, especially if you can come when they have deals on. The outdoor area is very nice in the sun!

Had Sunday lunch with family here today, omg. Fantastic, from walking through the door was greeting by a nice lad on the bar... Ordered our food which came quickly, was nice and hot and was delicious, thankyou so much,,,, full up and happy, would highly recommend, atmosphere was nice , pub cosy 😁

Really nice place for a drink and a bite to eat. We had lunch here today and all of it was fantastic.... welcoming staff, food arrived quickly - cooked perfectly and nicely presented. The burger was ace. Dog friendly, they gave us water for our dog. Spot on.

I went to the Clousden for a a family Xmas meal and there was 16 of us!! I could not fault the food it was hot and tasty and came out very quickly so everyone was able to eat together 👍👍👍 Ali who served us was amazing!!! She was help, friendly and very efficient 👍👍👍 Would definitely recommend eating at the Clousden Hill . First class !

We came here for a Sunday Cavery and it was beautiful. The atmosphere was lovely and we were served by Jen and Ali! They are so lovely and polite. We will be back again, thank you!

Great little pub. It's well decorated. Good choice of beers and food. The snacks behind the bar are great. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the tables in the front, a beautiful day in the sun.

Such a friendly welcome for our first visit here- our thanks to the excellent staff. The beer was well kept, Sunday lunch was very good and the service was efficient Very enjoyable.

We went on Saturday night on the 1st of October primarily to see my step daughter Beth Clarke singing here , on arrival we found our table which had a nice reservation note on it ( I had phoned up earlier ) , having got ourselves seated i went to the bar & enquired about food menus only to be told the kitchen was closed , so I ordered 2 drinks & went back to our table , the manageress came over to say during my phone call I should have been told about the food , she then told us she could cook us ( my wife & I) a couple of pizzas , we were taken aback at the this kind offer & accepted we sat down & enjoyed Beth's singing & after a short while our pizzas arrived , they were very well presented & the staff were very friendly & brought over cutlery & condiments & we enjoyed our fresh cooked pizzas along with our drinks , the atmosphere in the pub is very relaxed & very easy going , there are plenty of tables & seats throughout this fine establishment & 3 different ares within the pub , there is a car park at the back of this pub & will allow about 15 cars to park safely, great staff who are very friendly & pleasant & a credit to this establishment & the management, a great place to go for live music, food, entertainment & beer, this was our first time here & it won't be our last , 10/10.

Have been going to the Clousden for a few years now and always impressed with the service. Have used them for celebrations on 2 separate occasions and big shout out to Cherie the chef for her awesome buffet!

Lovely place. This is my second visit and it was just as amazing. Ali, the server, is fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

At the end of June, my colleagues and I visited(we are from South Korea). The food was served quickly and the fish and chips I tried for the first time were really delicious. The staff were especially friendly, and one of them, Ali, was very impressive. She is so kind peron.!!!!! I still can't forget it. Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to Ali for being kind to me and my colleagues.

Excellent choice of beers and draught drinks, superb food. Best in the area at the moment. I have not had a bad meal here yet. One thing that really sets it apart is it does not just have the run of the mill drinks in here. It sells the craft beers, craft ciders etc. The staff are really friendly too. Can't fault it.

Well I hadn't been here since it was done out and renamed but it was a nice surprise. Food portions were really pleasing but I am sure everyone is different. A small wait but I had ordered a mixed grill so that was to be expected. Probably the best locally priced pub. Very loud with all the kids in there thoygh. Still 5/5! Well played Clousden Hill.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a gorgeous spread and thoughtful touches like gluten-free plates prepared for myself and a friend. The chicken especially was tender and full of flavour. One of the most emotional highlights was being able to put on our own music for the first dance — a truly unforgettable moment. The staff were just incredible. They weren’t just helpful — they felt like part of the celebration, offering such genuine kindness and hospitality that by the end of the night, we were left feeling full of gratitude. Thank you to the whole team at Clousdon Hill — you helped create the best day of our lives.

Very comfortable now it's been taken over. Three lovely meals, I said too many chips for me so they did a lovely side salad with a lovely tender gammon. Mam just eats small meals so they cut her fish and chips by half with peas, that went down well. Husband had bourguignon and thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll be going back, definitely!

Sunday dinner was really good, superb value for money. Would highly recommend it!

I recently celebrated my birthday 🎂 with my brother. I would just liked to thank all the staff for all their hard work and friendlies. The staff are fabulous ,and the pub has a great atmosphere

Didn't have food but have before and always been lovely. Ali and Jen helpful and good crack as usual, Ali has a vast knowledge of murder documentaries...cozy bar.
