Opinions de Boba My Tea Northridge
Always very busy. Always very good. And always worth the wait. They always have classic cartoons playing on a projector and games available. It's a very hip little spot.
Love the options they have for tea, smoothies, etc. I also like that they have Tom & Jerry cartoons projecting in the shop as it was one of my favorite cartoon series' growing up as a kid. Great place to have some after drinks and talk on a date night or if you want some dessert that goes down smoother than ice cream.
Boba My Tea is a great place to get boba. They have a variety of different flavor combinations and also have a top ten list which consists of the best drinks they have. The cookies and cream frap is a really great choice. The place is kind of hidden upstairs in the plaza, but the large amount of people there should make it easy to find. The place also gets pretty packed, but the tea is worth the wait since they are big cups, even for the regular size.
I have been here about 5 times. Every visit had been excellent and a fantastic experience. "Boba me red" so far it's my personal favorite and it's hard to change from it but some excellent options that I have also tried are the Earl grey and lavender teas; all of which have been A+ choices.
This is my favorite Boba place ever. My sister and I will take the 20 minute drive to northridge just to get Boba, but sometimes, depending on who is making drinks they taste slightly different. It does tend to get busy with a line out the door, but it's still my all time favorite!
Best boba in the valley in my opinion. The milk tea smoothie is so refreshing I can just taste fresh tea even tho it’s a smoothie I usually can’t taste that in other smoothies as much as this one. Also the boba is just perfect so chewy and delicious!
Got the raspberry slush which was too sweet for my taste but the boba balls were warm and fresh. I love the purple taro milk tea and lychee milk tea. Good place with strong cups that don't break when you stab them with good quality boba too.
I tried brown sugar boba tea 🧋 It was fantastic…👌🏼
They have very good quality... both at service and the drink by it self. The person, who getting orders is always been very polite and helpful with our orders. The place by it self is nice, the seats inside is limited but they have outside seats with music which is good too.
it's sooo cozy in here, i love the music and the paintings. The boba is always good and fresh. The workers are very nice too.
Love this place! The Strawberry Sunrise smoothie style is the bomb. The line is usually out the door, but well worth the $4 price for a honey boba drink.
Great little tea shop! It's my favorite boba place, I'll make a longer drive just to get it as a treat sometimes. Wide variety of teas that ofher boba shops don't offer. Tastes better and more fresh. The smoothie options are great as well and taste amazing. Favorite drinks: the oolong nectar and wnglish rose milk teas. Can also recommend the love potion smoothie if you like something light and sweet.
Good place! Lots of choices, and they have quick, friendly service. My favorite here is the cookies and cream with honey boba, though their Thai tea is also very good. Be careful climbing those stairs though, they can get a bit slippery even when they're not wet!
Best boba in the valley! My brother and I have tried just about every boba shop in the SFV and this place has the best boba and authentic tea! The boba has never been stale, always tastes fresh and chewy. The tea is some of the best tea I have ever tried, and for some, such as my favorite, English rose milk tea, they brew the tea after you order. The tea is extremely fragrant, no matter the sweetness level. Other than that, they also have amazing fruit tea and other drink combinations. Coco Pandan is another one of my favorites. Overall, my top picks are: English Rose Jasmine Imperial Coco Pandan Jin BMT If you’re looking for authentic boba tea, this is the place!
One thing that makes them special is their supersized milk tea ( 1 liter I think ) and will only cost you around 8usd. Boba always soft, which I like lol lots of parking outside and theres panda express nearby 😍
One of my favorite boba places in the Valley! Lots of good flavors (my favorite is the English Rose), especially loose leaf varieties that they brew to order. It means it takes a few minutes longer but it's absolutely worth the wait. They also have seasonal specials that are always fun to try, like the Kyoto matcha with caramel. Their boba is soft and chewy, too!
I love it. It’s a really nice and quiet place to go between classes if you’re a csun student. Also to study. I love how they play cartoons inside. They also have a little patio area outside. Overall so pretty and cool.
I'm not a boba drinker but this place has changed me. I love this place and the many options they have. Been here twice and both times the customer service has been great. They have a cool lounge to hang out. My kids also love this place. They have non-caffienated options for them. I can always appreciate a place that is kid-friendly.
This place was so cozy! They have a bit of a lounge vibe going on, where they play cartoons on a projector and have some nice tables for customers to sit in groups. Students are usually here studying/socializing. I liked that I didn’t feel like I had to be in and out. Boba was tender, not chewy which I liked, and they had unique flavors. Their little tubby cups are the cutest. 🥺 Free loyalty punch cards are available, and you get a stamp for every drink. The employees will usually ask you for yours or offer one. I enjoyed 😼
I took my fiancée here to get her Thai Tea. I been to this place before so I knew where it was. The parking situation here is better than other boba shop because it's in a big plaza with a lot of parking. They have their menu out near the door and inside as well. They have a sign that said 1 party at a time inside and we respected that. The only issue we had here was when we waited outside, their PA system is not that good so you can't really hear your order when it is ready. They have outside seating for you but you have to stand since there no chair.
Ahhh!!! I really like it here. I’ve only gone a few times but from those times, I have had a great experience. The staff are very nice and even make sure to ask if you have any questions. The drinks are made quick (within minutes after ordering) and they’re pretty good too!! I also love the vibe of the place in general. The price per drink is also very good too. I spent about $18 total for 2 24oz drinks and 1 supersize drink (I forgot how many ounces exactly it was but it had to be like 32oz maybe?). I honestly think that is worth it. I definitely do think that the drink I got (Sunset Breeze; only in supersize when I went) was a little too sweet to my liking but then again, I do not really have a big sweet tooth! I’d just say you never know until you try it!! Edit: I went again, got a different drink (The second image is this drink) and it was very good~ 😌 It was the Maui Crush (just in case anyone wanted to know, it is decaf :] )
This is the best place to get boba and tea!! The boba is so fresh, and they have other types of boba as well, such as honey and red seaweed. For the milk tea, Pistachio and Taro are my favorites. So good!! They are upstairs, so if you have trouble finding the shop, don't give up! This place is so worth it. It's my favorite spot, and they have really delicious macarons:)
Boba My Tea is my favorite boba shop in the valley. They have a variety of unique flavors and my absolute favorite is the coconut pandan. I prefer to get mine less sweet and it's the perfect sweetness level for me. Their boba is always fresh and the staff is always super friendly. If you go to CSUN, you def know this is the study spot. They have a cute projector constantly replaying Tom and Jerry shorts and their music is relatively chill and relaxing. If you check in on Yelp, you'll get a free upgrade to their largest size. It's a lot for one person, so I always share this with somebody else. (34/50--2024)
I'm not really a fan of Boba but this place takes the crown. I got a creme brulee drink with boba. It was absolutely delicious. They even explained how to drink it. It came with special instructions 🤣. My wife got the passion twist and it was very delicious too. Very refreshing. Definitely stop by and get something for this hot summer.
I don't live local but whenever I have to stop by somewhere that's near here, I have to come here for their jasmine imperial iced tea with boba! The bitterness with a tinge of sweetness and chewy boba is just divine!
Never been here before but they sure have good milk teas.

Really good and chill inside! Been going since my freshman year at CSUN and my favorite drink is the sunset breeze ice tea!
I love this place! The owner is super nice and I love that they are some of the few boba places left in the valley that have a punch card. Prices are solid and slightly cheaper than others I've been to, for a great sized drink
My son bought me a Thai iced tea and it was great! Too much black tea (it was really strong!) and not enough milk and honey for my tastes but it was still good! I got a really cute reusable cup also. My son always saves me a bit of what he got for himself and all of them really tastes great! He really likes their smoothies. He is the one who goes to buy them for us and he says the staff are always nice and professional. His only complaint is all the stairs to get to the shop. LOL
By far my favorite boba place. I go to many different boba shops and none of them get it right like this place does. Every drink I've tried, milk tea or smoothie or otherwise, has been a hit. Reasonably priced, it's actually cheaper than most boba places for WAY better quality tea.

Been there once. It was a little hole-in-the-wall-esque place that was a little to find as it was hiding upstairs around the corner. I'm not a fan of boba but they also serve delicious smoothies and these cute little macaroons too! Best of all, they were playing Tom & Jerry on a projector! Talk about a blast from the past ;)
Very cute tea place located in Pasadena across from Bucca Di Beppo. The interior is small, cozy and happy. Not too many seatings and it gets crowded. The menu is extensive. I was a bit confused at first. They were outta some of the drinks I wanted to try, so ended up getting the Taro matcha with red beans and cheese foam for bf. It was too sweet for my liking but the cheese foam and matcha were smooth and tasty
Went here at around 10 pm on a Wednesday night, there were a few people hanging around and no line to order. They were quick to take our order and give us our drinks. I ordered their original milk tea and it was alright, tasted more like a hong kong milk tea than the usual milk tea you get at other places. Had a stronger tea taste than milk taste. There’s plenty of parking in the plaza.
The drinks are good, the places isn't too crowded, and their prices aren't too bad. One of my favorite places to get boba! They even have board games & a screen monitor that always plays Tom & Jerry.
The location is a little bit hard to get to, partly because it's upstairs (no big deal) but also because the parking lot and intersection adjacent to it is very crowded. That being said, the boba drinks are excellent here, with many different choices of both flavors and boba. We have never been disappointed, and that is saying a lot given how other eateries in the area have seen their quality slide given the mass amounts of people to serve. It is a quite popular location, so be prepared to stand in line. Seating is limited as well, so take it to go if needed.
Boba My Tea is your basic boba spot. They offer an array of drinks to satisfy everyone's cravings. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I ordered a Thai Iced Tea with boba ( I need to be more adventurous) and a mango smoothie with mango popping boba. Both drinks were refreshing and perfect for the 100-degree valley weather. Unfortunately, they do not have any seating available, and it looks like they’re using the inside space for storage. It’s a pretty ample space that can most definitely fit seating areas. But they are continuing to follow COVID guidelines (only one customer can come in to order at a time, must wait outside, and must wear a mask). I can respect their choice to continue to follow COVID guidelines, so I’m not going to be so harsh on my rating. But if they just tidy up the place a bit and maybe organize the boxes better, it’ll look more appealing.
It was my first time here and there were genuinely a variety of options. I tried the oolong nectar milk tea with boba with regular sweet. It was a little too sweet for me and it made the flavor of oolong tea thinner. I'd suggest less sugar if not a super sweet tooth person. The tapioca boba taste was average to me and seemed to be less in quantity of boba than other places I'vebeen before. My friend tried something called bloody mango (forgot the exact name but it's on the menu they pasted on the shop window) with mango popping boba and she said it was amazing. Overall the environment was nice and clean, and I'd say the taste is average to me so I might rather try other new boba place instead of coming back.

The place isn't that good but it's not the worse. Their flower milk teas are very watered down. (Rose and Jasmine) when I asked to exchange they didn't make a big deal of it.

This place is irritating in many different ways 1. They are stingy with their boba 2. Not enough employees 3. Super slow And last but not least the manager kept on remaking a customers drink because he had no clue what he was doing. FYI this place doesn't make their teas fresh they have jugs of pre-made drinks in their fridge.
Quality is not as good as expected. Drinks taste watered down and the boba is tight while the jelly is too soft and in huge chunks. I love the many options available, but I prefer my own hand made boba and home brewed tea for full flavor and quality taste. However I do enjoy the many customized drink options and the portion seems adequate for the price as compared to other shops.
Got oolong nectar here last night. Was really good but I think the guy forgot to put oat milk in ours instead of regular milk. We are severely lactose intolerant so sleeping was really painful that night. That was not fun.
I got a milk tea and asked for no ice because it was a cold and rainy night. This is what they gave me! So their drinks are normally 40% ice? They saved about 10 cents of tea but lost me as a customer forever. I predict/hope they'll be going out of business soon, so many other places to get tea in the area.

Bad customer service! I came in with a youth group, some of our youth didn’t have a mask, so we asked if they had any so they can wear it. The cashier was rude and kept complaining how she had to give them a mask. We still ordered drinks, but she had an attitude towards us and was making rude comments about our group. If you want your business to be open, be nice and not stingy for giving 3 masks to your customers. Never coming back.
Terrible service. Little girl on the phone just hung up on me.
What kind of service is this? I call asking some questions and the child on the phone hangs up on me
Belligerent staff and owner. Refuse to accept a simple change to my order when any other boba store could easily do it. “Sorry I cant ensure your drink will taste good because it’s not on the menu, I don’t want my stores reputation to be ruined.” Fine, if I didn’t know what I was doing but its just switching MILK for MILK TEA in my brown sugar drink. Otherwise relatively cheap and good place to study
