This place was amazing, starting with the way Armando acknowledged us as soon as we walk in, Armando was serving us and he was on point be friendly and great attitude, Thanks Armando….. Food was delicious and the presentation wow !!! We had the Parrillada Manolo and it was just delicious, the Flan was also great, very satisfying I will definitely come back to this restaurant and I 100% recommend.
Gracias Martina for being so warm to us. Your service was impeccable. We had so much on valentines days! Keep growing we love u ❤️
This is now our family's favorite place. The food is simply superb, very tasty. The staff was very polite and welcoming.
Such a great spot! Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The empanadas were amazing and the steak was cooked perfect, tender and exactly what we’d hope for. Ariel was friendly, attentive, and checked in at all the right times without being overbearing. He gave great recommendations and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. You can tell he really cares about the guests. We had an awesome time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
This is the most satisfying Argentine grill I’ve ever tried among all the barbecue places I’ve been to. The service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great place to invite a group. I highly recommend it—it’s a choice you won’t regret!
Great experience dining at Buenos Aires. We had the beef empanadas, the Chorizos, a Caesar salad and the 2 filets, which we shared. The food was perfect and our server was amazing!
WOW - very nice experience! Food was DELICIOUS and the place is really nice - background music was great, it really adds up to the experience. I had the 'Steak Buenos Aires' with the side of Mashed Potatoes - everything was great!, very delicious, meat was perfect, the sauce was absolutely amazing and the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful! At the beginning they bring you some bread with chimichurri - even that was delicious, their chimichurri is very rich in flavorful and does not feel 'oily' - very good. If anything could improve - they took a while to get my food (about 25 min) even when they only had like 4 tables with customers alrrady eating - I imagine coming during peak times will take about an hour to get food =/ AND I did had to remind my waiter about getting a drink refill since he seem to forgot and just kept looking at me like "why are you looking at me?" XD --- But even that is not enough to knock a star out. Well deserved 5 stars!!!
My family (myself, step mom, and father) dined out tonight and had a fantastic evening under Ariel's service. He recommended great appetizers, entreés, and desserts. It's the first time I've had Argentinian cuisine and I already can't wait to come back. Ambience wise it's cozy and romantic, perfect for a date night or an intimate dinner with the fam.
Gracias Armando por todo! My server armando was the cherry on top of an excellent meal! He was very attentive, even after it started filling up with customers he made sure our glasses, stomachs, and hearts were also full! The food was delicious, and they even surprised me with some amazing birthday flan! It was my first time visiting but surely wont be the last.
This restaurant has fabulous service but seating is promptly, taking our orders and making sure we are taken care of. The food was incredibly delicious and good value. Went with a friend of mine native to Argentina and he could verify it was an accurate representation of his home. Definitely would go again.
Food is excellent with awesome ingredients. I hightly recommend the appetizers and especially the Empanadas and my fav was the Beef although the other flavors are good. The have Vegan Empanadas but I didn't try them. Crab Mini Empanadas with Mango chutney and have a mild flavor. The Argentine sampler was prepare perfectly and full of flavor. I enjoyed the crispness of the Thymus and rich flavor of the blood sausage was excellent! Corizo was very good. Dessert was excellent and we ordered Torta Borracha an Argentinian Tiramisu with a very delicate flavor and not too heavy. It was so good we came back for lunch the next day and all the sandwiches were excellent (we were 8 people) but I couldn't resist the Pauls Lomito Sandwich with Filet, ham, cheese and egg! Egg was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of cheese. Well make this a regular stop on my trips to Northridge.
I created a memory here that I will remember for the rest of my life! I watched Messi and Argentina lift the 2022 World Cup trophy in what was the greatest match I’ve seen to date. It was awesome to witness the passion from all the Argentina supporters here at the restaurant. It truly made for an experience like no other. The interior, while packed with people standing and sitting, looked well renovated and clean. They used to have tables the last time I was here, but converted to booths for better comfort and efficient use of space. While I unfortunately didn’t have any main entrees, like the Steak, I tried the cheese and onion and beef Empanadas and they were fantastic! The Chimichurri sauce was also insanely delicious, and you can buy large to-go portions of it. The owner was extremely nice to everyone, and gave champagne to all the supporters after the game. I will definitely be back here and will update my review when I try more meals here. I highly recommend this place!
First, I want to say this review is LONG overdue. Second, I want to say that a few years ago, I realized that eating beef or pork typically causes me severe intestinal distress, so I very rarely eat either. And lastly, it’s imperative to say that I am perhaps the pickiest eater on the planet. My adult sons tell me my food palate is that of a toddler – I won’t eat, or even try most foods, including eggs, seafood, fish, or foods that look weird or have mushy textures (like mushrooms or tofu), in addition to a litany of other foods, so if I write a positive food review, rest assured, the restaurant, and food, was phenomenal. Months ago, I was invited to Los Angeles, with my friend of more than thirty years, Martha. On our first evening, we went to eat at Buenos Aires Grill with her aunt, uncle, mom, and cousins – in total, we were a party of seven. All of the food ordered was shared, family style. Since I had heard so much about the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try everything – and clearly, I (almost) did. Since Martha had eaten there before, and she knows my likes and dislikes, I requested she place the order on my behalf. We started with the empanadas. OH, MY GAWD… THESE empanadas are the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER eaten – EVER… E.V.E.R. and I have lived in Cuba, México, and Spain… The empanadas are sheer PERFECTION… they APPEAR to be fake – they are absolutely flawlessly shaped and baked… their crust is neither too thin nor too thick. The filling was drool inducing and I, honestly, genuinely, doubted the taste could be improved, but once I topped the empanada with the chimichurri, if I would have died, in that moment, I would have rested in peace as the happiest human on Earth. She also ordered both the Quesos Fundido and Provoleta and the Chimichurri and (French) Bread (baguette) – I LOVE CHEESE, and French bread, but, once again, I am PICKY – and skeptical of new foods. Both the cheeses caused my salivary glands to go into elated overdrive. The union of cheese, chimichurri, and the baguette… TO DIE FOR. <insert image of drooling> I don’t know if Martha ordered the Manolo or Buenos Aires Parrilla, but I ate a bite, or two, of each and every single one of the elements. Despite having lived in Texas since 1990, and as an individual who has eaten countless steaks, ribs, sausages, and chorizo, I have never eaten more deliciously seasoned, epically prepared, and perfectly grilled bites of beef and pork. In addition to the meat, the parrillas were accompanied by mashed potatoes, French fries, Spanish rice, and sautéed vegetables. HOLY MOLY – each side was mouthwatering, scrumptious, delightful. Fearing I would not want to eat the meat, based on the aforementioned explanation, Martha also ordered the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli and the Chicken Alfredo… I have eaten A LOT of pasta dishes in my day… I was raised to believe I was 50% Italian (thanks to 23andMe, I now know that is false). In any case, I’m confident that my recent diagnosis of pre-diabetes is a direct result of my insatiable desire and propensity for the consumption of carbohydrates, but I digress… the ravioli, the linguini, the tomato, and Alfredo sauces were exquisitely delectable, positively blissful, absolutely scrumptious. Side note: just writing this review is making my mouth water… Since Martha had not seen her aunt, uncle, and cousins, in quite some time, the dinner was also the pretense for a family gathering and celebration for her uncle’s birthday. We consumed more bottles of wine than I care to admit because their selection was absolutely superb. I know we had dessert, but, for the life of me, I cannot recall WHAT we ate (thanks to the imbibement) … all I remember is that it, too, was luscious. It’s also important to mention that I, too, am extremely particular about where I use a public restroom – but, since I had so much wine, it was necessary I take a bio-break. The restroom was super tidy, well stocked, and clean – something I undoubtedly appreciate.
After eating here for many years, including eating in the parking lot during Covid that they would bring me my food out, and I would set up a table to eat- you certainly are an asset to the community The table served hot plates are wonderful without error along with the fantastic empanadas Ordering a simple salmon not so good Not edible, way overcooked with skin side down in a slippery broth that renders it not edible as it is traditionally cooked Skin side down and serve Skin side crispy up Vegetables seem to always be taken out of the refrigerator as the result comes to the table with half of the vegetables, hot half the vegetables cold Our last couple orders of spinach creamed has been mostly creamed with not much spinach. Usually have to ask to get it hot because it’s normally served barely warm. They have good stuff. They are good people.
We got: Avocado Steak Sandwich, Alfredo Pasta, and Beef Empanadas Steak sandwich: 7/10, the steak was extremely tender and like butter. Not tough, no fat. Flavor was yummy and bread was crispy but not burnt. However, it was slightly too salty which ruined it slightly. I believe this was the guac, so you could scrape it off if you found it too salty. Alfredo Pasta: 8/10, extremely delicious and not too rich. I like the serving size wasn't massive or greasy. It was light and fresh tasting, and the cheese tasted quality. I would recommend this the most. Empanadas: 7/10, fresh, light. The flavor was rich and crispy. I would want to try their other flavors down the line.
I used to love this restaurant. But unfortunately me and my family went a couple days ago for dinner . And was extremely disappointed. We waited about an hour for our food . Our meats were extremely dry basically burnt , and flavorless . We all ordered French fries for our side order , we asked for ketchup and we received a tiny container. Waiter was not attentive at all .
