This place is the bomb.. wide selection of beers, great burgers, slamming fries, quaint atmosphere.. legit. Entrees a little costly, and no mid tier appetizers to sample with, but very nice either way.

Nice place good food. I like it especially because i dont have to go all the way to flushing to enjoy korean style chicken. Cant believe some people dont like the little potatoes that comes with the chicken lol i like those little extras! Those are not put by mistakes, those are little surprises haha

Would recommend the Bulgogi Panini if you’re looking for a quick bite and want to try something new. Very delicious meat and the sauce it comes with pairs very well with the bulgogi.

The burger and fries was freaking amazing! I waited 20min for my to go order but after biting into that juicy burger that tasted sooooo fresh I felt it was well worth the wait. The fries A++

Saw this when I was going to the local bagel shop just a few doors away from this place and knew I had to try it when it opens. I am glad I did. Chicken was fire and the presentation was great. Will visit again soon.

I’ve fallen in love with this place ever since the new owner took over. The chicken is incredible—easily the best I’ve ever had. It’s always tasty and freshly made. Everything on the menu is great, so you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommend!

Chicken and beer, what isn't there to like about that combo? Their chicken is pretty good, but what really stood out was the budae jjigae (army stew, this place calls it sausage stew on their English menu). It is one of the best that I've had and I've tried it all over Korea, NY/NJ/CA. Skip the nachos.. they didn't measure up to my expectations.

My drumstick paradise at Bayside. Oh gosh it was good, better than the drumsticks I had at KFC and Popeyes. Fried just right and to perfection, and big too. I honestly didn't know Koreans could make drumsticks this good, I wish I tried all the flavors available. And I can't believe I only tried this restaurant after 4 months frequenting the area.

Ok this place was a Hidden gem for me. People can have bad experiences sometimes trust me i know. But this place haven't failed me yet. Took my family to this place and they loved it including my self. Beer always cold. chicken always tasty. I been here at least 3 times to judge. No complaints.

I found Kokio because I was at a park nearby one night and wanted good wings. The first time I ate from here it wings were so good I had time for a photo, ate them while driving. Finger licking. This second time I drove 20 minutes from work just for them. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Always hot and cooked once you order, nothing is pre-cooked. I got honey garlic both times. So good, worth the drive. Sweet potato fries could use a little more seasoning but the chipotle dip is perfect for them. The atmosphere inside is a chill vibe too.

What I can say about Kokio this is a very quiet atmosphere great for any intimate dates. The food and beer were very pleasant the service was great. I will definitely be returning to kokio for the wings they were just amazing I ate every piece and even took all the chicken off them bones 🦴. 💜kokio I’ll see you again soon.

I wishhh kokio was around when I went to high school in the area. Honestly i would be 100 lbs heavier than I am rn. I loveeee their crispy fried chicken with soy garlic. Their chicken is SUPER crispy, I love that thick crunchiness with every bite. I ordered take out so I didn't get to interact with the server much, the place looks really clean. The food was really good, cant wait to come back to eat in person soon.

We order food from Kokio all the time, and the food is absolutely delicious. We order the 16-piece original grilled chicken wings with fries, and a side of white rice and the food never disappoints. The fries are always crispy, and the wings are always so juicy. They have a ton of different beers to choose from and the service is always great. If you haven't tried this spot out yet I recommend giving it a try.

The decor of Kokio is artsy, modern and is perfect for friends gathering. The staff was really attentive and friendly. We did a take out order picking up at 1:00pm on Sunday and the wait wasn’t too bad about 25 minutes. We ordered an Assorted Wings with 7 flavors and Sausages stew with complimentary sweet potato fries (over $50 after tax). The food was amazingly delicious and served warm and fresh. There is a total of 21 wings, 3 pieces each flavor in the Assorted Wings set. The chicken was juicy inside with crispy layer. The sausages stew was our favorite, tasty with great amount of ingredients. There are also lunch special options which we would like to try next time but they are only available Monday through Saturday.

Ordered via Uber Eats. I live nearby and ordered the 21 wings 7 flavor and fries for my hubby and I. Food arrived still hot (as it should), the wings were hot, crunchy and delicious however I removed a star because I had no idea what flavors we were going to get and what each wing was. We also ordered fries were tasty and the meal came with some sort of pickled vegetable it seems...we didn't touch it, again I wish there was a label or something so we knew what it was. Will likely order from here again and make it a usual spot since its one of the few good places we've come across in this neighborhood so far.

The burger was delicious and bun crispy perfection. The grilled chicken I got was amazing and the right amount of crispy and tear off the bone chicken. Would have been 5 stars if the corn on the cob wasn't cold enough to bother my teeth. Otherwise the stuff is amazing.

My friends and I came here to eat after skateboarding, and it was funny how interested everyone was in our skateboards😹It gets quite busy in the evenings, and the aisles can feel a bit narrow. Lots of people were watching sports here. The chicken nuggets were huge portioned and super delicious! 👍🏼

Ordered from here a few times and always had a good experience. My only issue as a personal preference is the puffed rice chicken fingers were unpleasant. They cut up the roof of my mouth. Love everything else especially the sausages. Prices are a bit high but i think it’s worth it

We got the half and half (kokio flavor and honey garlic). The sauces were very tasty. We preferred the kokio flavor just a bit more. The rice cakes were spicy and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Good choice of beers. Chicken was moist and crunchy. In my opinion, the crunchiness and breading were good but I did not get the authentic Korean fried chicken taste such as bonchon or mad for chicken taste. The staff were super courteous and kind and made sure that we had extra napkins and white radish and we will be coming back.

Good to have a KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) place in Springfield. However, the fried chicken was little bit salty and Yangnyeom sauce is too thick and sweet. I am willing to try other foods on next visit. Update: The food is better but salad is not served on the house anymore. However, The owner is very polite. Nice place to go around Springfield area.

Recently attended baby shower there - staff was really accommodating and the food was pretty diverse for a chicken and beer spot. The spicy sea snail noodles and fish cake soup were delicious.

The chicken was meaty and crispy. The sauce wasn't very spicy or flavorful. There was only Tabasco to remedy that problem. The beer list was pretty long but the selections weren't special. Nice enough people and atmosphere. 3 stars seems a little low but 4 is definitely too high.

Got the Assorted Wings and beer. Not as flavorful as the mainstream Korean Chicken spots. I took out my own hot sauce AFTER ordering food for 4 and was told outside food isn't allowed. Charge extra 3% for card payment.

Been here a few times - the food is actually very good and I’d love to give this place a higher rating, but the service has just been too slow and shoddy lately. Most recently, we ordered a hamburger dish and their chicken with olives on fried rice dish, but asked if we could have it on white rice instead of fried rice for our 6 year old. Apparently no, they cannot (still can’t figure that out) so we said Ok just give us the regular dish then. 45 minutes later the hamburger was finally served and no chicken and olive on fried rice ever came... We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time too - but they seemed more concerned with taking care of take out customers than actual sitting customers.

It's a nice looking place. Service was good. Food was a bit much. Kinda expensive and too much for me to handle. Maybe I should have asked questions because the portions were so large, which should be a good thing. I will give them a second chance, one day.

Nice neighborhood chicken joint. I got take out from here. There is parking in the back. I got the 7 flavor assorted chicken wings. They don't tell you what flavors so I had to guess from the menu. It was original, buffalo, spicy, snow, Korean sauce and soy. Don't know what was the last one. It didn't taste like honey garlic. It wasn't crispy but flavor was good. I would go out of my way for this but if I'm in the neighborhood I would buy chicken again.

This review is just for the chicken katsu lunch, which was very dry and flavorless, despite it being covered in cheese. It was very disappointing. Would come back to try their burger and bar food, which is probably their specialty instead.

Over priced food. Asked for a simple plane cheese burger and some kind of sauce was spilled on it and it was slathered in Mayonnaise. Ontop of that it was burned and bareky seasoned. If they can't get meat cheese and buns right, i dread to think what else they are messing up.

The associates are rude and inconsiderate. The fried chicken contains little to no chicken.. it is practically made with only batter. The only good thing about this place is their variety of beer. I would never go there again, nor recommend it to a friend.
