Today I had an incredible experience at this subway. I went next door to Sprouts and decided I’d stop by and redeem my reward from my birthday. For some reason I couldn’t find it on my subway account. I went in and the vibe was amazing and the staff were as incredibly friendly. A pleasure to be around. They scanned my account and checked my birthday in my account and somehow my gift wasn’t in there. The manager on duty said oh she just wants to claim her cookie go ahead and give it to her! It was an amazing experience and amazing up beat staff. I will be back.

Antonio was so friendly and respectful! He got our order perfectly and was very polite the whole entire time. When I mentioned that I don’t eat pork for religious reasons, he swapped out his gloves with fresh ones without me even asking! We need more people like him in customer service jobs. Thank you, Antonio!!!

I came into this location after a workout from the PF that’s a few doors down, never even knew it was here, and was greeted by Antonio. He was so kind and easy to converse with. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this location.

We don't go here often anymore due to the decline over the years, even under different managers. Our issues have usually been due to things out of stock (they once had zero bread, impressive) and also from the fact they've reused knives to spread and cut sandwiches. I think that's a big thing that needs to change, as my family and I have been figuring out food allergies and when I say don't cut with a knife that's been used with avocado? Don't, that's a food allergy. Additionally, I've figured out their labeling system needs an update BADLY. Today I wanted to get a steak and cheese sandwich with a bit of sauce in there. The guy realized he had been putting Ranch in my sandwich, which I noticed happened because the "sticker" used on the bottle was the same type of white that the Ranch was; invisible unless you were focused in on it. I couldn't get it fixed, due to my crushing social anxiety, a food rush starting up and everything, so I took the sandwich and ate it, hoping it would be okay. Now here I am, and I believe I have food poisoning. Guys, I appreciated the apologies but this was a bad semester and now I am sick. Please reevaluate your stuff.

Just nasty. I ordered a footlong vegetarian through the app and selected specific options, but apparently the staff either isn’t trained or doesn’t care about mobile orders. I arrived and literally watched them throw my sandwich together while completely ignoring the app instructions. How do you leave cucumbers off a vegetarian sandwich when there are only a few vegetables to begin with? When I pointed it out, the cashier casually tossed the cucumbers in after the fact while I was holding the sandwich. The sandwich itself was dry and poorly made. They put the condiments directly on the bread instead of on the actual contents of the sandwich, then sprinkled on a little lettuce—despite me marking extras—and called it done. Overall, the sandwich was empty, dry, and disgusting. I wasted over $11 on this place. ZERO STARS.

I had posted an old review and was extremely happy and now I feel the need to update my review. I went in to this location, the selection of chips is lack luster. They stopped carrying the salt and vinegar which are the best ones. Then I found out James no longer works here and he was a great face to see and was doing great things for the store. Today I was denied a coupon because the store didnt accept it but the app tells me it did. Then I tried another coupon and the system would not take it. No manager is on staff and they leave their employees with no options to trouble shoot for customers. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and did his job great. However these issues lie strictly on the owners shoulders. I had hopes for this location and unfortunately I dont anymore and this location will go back to a place I will pass up. Whatever the owners did they are failing this place. Go to the bonsall location its much better run and more customer friendly. Skip this location. I hope the nice guy behind the counter finds a better place of employment. (OLD REVIEW) Normally I avoid this Subway at all costs, every time ive been theyve had no drinks, no chips, and the service was slow and horrible. Tonight I went in and James was working. He was alone but was kind, attentive and able to muli task without ignoring me or making me wait for an obscene amount of time. Ive had unpleasnt experiences at this Subway before but James is an assest to this team! Promote him he deserves it!

I'm really upset , I ordered online , they said it was ready.. I sent my boyfriend in there to pick up the order when he got there the order wasn't ready at all the lady working there at this time ( this was Sunday June 1st at 4:46) ... it was fine he waited for the food , she kept staring at him giving him dirty looks ( mostly staring at his tattoos) he brushed it off when he went to grab the chips he payed for and the food , she started walking away and he's like "oh ma'am I ordered a medium drink as well" , and she looked at him dirty again and said" we'll it's right there grab it" and pointed at the cups and walked away after. This was just really rude. I worked in customer service for years , this is so unprofessional. She shouldn't be working with people if she's not going to be professional. Oh and on top of that both foot longs were supposed to be toasted and warm , only 1 was. The other one was cold. Fix your employees subway

I went into the Subway on 3776 Mission Ave., in Oceanside CA (Dec. 26th). I have not been into one in years and wanted to try the toasted steak and cheese. I arrived 15 minutes before they closed. There was one employee. He told me he already turned the oven toaster off and could not make a toasted sandwich. I asked him how he could turn it off before they are closed? He said it takes 30 minutes to cool down. It was obvious he was looking at the clock and just wanted to go home. This just blew me away. I left, and I will never go back. This guy was rude and didn't care about customers. I bet if he called his manager, they would of said to make the sandwich and then leave. What happened to good old customer service, especially during inflation and people don't eat out as much?

My mom and I also had to pay before the sandwiches were almost ready. No other Subway charges before ordering it. This individual should not be working at a subway. 5/24/25 time: 430pm

Worst Subway I have ever been to. I live close to this location and would rather take an additional 15 minutes to drive to another location. Service has never been great. Every time I have gone they have been out of stock of various items and the staff working there is often lackadaisical and slow. They have also been rude to my wife so I advise anyone to take the time and go to a different Subway that cares about its customers. Also, I have consulted with the staff at other Subways in the area and they have confirmed to have received similar complaints about this location.

Wife submitted an online order for 3:25 by accident instead of 2:00 along with another sandwich she ordered. Even though I had the order #, store location, pick-up time, and the ENTIRE order in hand for the staff, it wasn’t enough to get the sandwich for 3:25 made at the same time I picked up the 2:00 order. So guess what? I had to wait an hour and some change for a sandwich that they refused to make early because they “didn’t have the physical ticket from their system”. Of course you’re not going to have the ticket for 3:25 yet at 2:00 because it doesn’t take an hour to make a sandwich, unless you work at this Subway apparently it does. If i have all the information you need, why can’t you just make the sandwich?? And the staff is rude and standoffish, the store manager included. Just make your own sandwich at home and save your money. I haven’t been to Subway in years and I guess I’ll just continue the trend 👎🏻

I arrived around 430pm to order 3 sandwiches for my family due to the buy 2 get 1 free deal signing hanging on both windows of the establishment. The veggie containers were almost empty, there was only white or wheat bread and a single employee working. She was quite sweet, but had the unfortunate responsibility of telling me they were out of roast beef and italian bread. I placed my order only to find the sign which advertised the but 2 get 1 deal did not apply at that location. I paid and brought the sandwiches home. There was barely enough meat to taste it , and the bread was incredibly stale and difficult to chew.We had to take what little there was inside and eat it without the bread. Unacceptable. Will not take business there again.

Never ordering from this subway again. This is the second time i order and they completely mess up the order. Missing items on sandwich, not toasted when requested, and over excessive amounts of mayo used. Worse service ever given at a subway. Highly recommend you avoid this location at all coats

This place is just uncomfortable, the employees have attitudes and 0 customer service skills. They also have half the food they’re supposed to have every time so I can’t ever get what i actually want. They also keep up promotions and deals on the doors and building then say they aren’t doing it anymore for some time it’s just up there which was the reason I came in in the first place. They also stop making your food in the middle of it to chat. Just ya not good here :/

Ordered online for pickup, said order was received. When we got there we were told they closed earlier but were waiting for us to come to tell us the order they were going to cancel the order. This took another 15 minutes. Why not just cancel the order when it comes in versus wait until we are there and waste more of our time?

Really bad. The worst. I would never go back to that store. The last 3 times I ordered on line and the same times the bread was old. The app told me my sandwiches were ready to pick up and when I showed up they haven't even started making then. I don't get it. Place is soooo slow everytime. Like if their allergic to efficiency. Playing loud rap music and being slow is a recipe for customers to be angry and storm away for wait times being too long. Customers did walk away. Who ever is in the charge of this store should upheld higher standards because it reflects YOU. Your team doesn't care if you don't care and here it shows. Do better.

I've given this Subway all the chances. Third's the charm. They're always missing items to complete the meals and I started to wonder how "fresh" what they have is. Today I wanted a sub and they were the closest so decided to give it another try. There was no one there when I walked in, and one lady behind the counter (long curly red hair). I said hello, she answered back. She was making an order and I thought someone may have called it in. But she just ignored me and continue working on that. I patiently waited my turn. She finally put the order in the heating oven, at which point I figured she would turn to me and ask "what can I get you started with?" Nope! She stood in front of the oven, back to me, and completely ignored me. I gave her a few seconds to see if she would turn and acknowledge she had a customer there. Didn't happen. I just simply turned around and walked out. HORRIBLE what has happened to this Subway.
