The small beans portion is never filled up. Its been two weeks since my last visit and they only had spicy sauce. Today they only have spicy sauce again. It is 12:30 and the dining area still has chairs/stools on counter.

Coming from out of town it has been difficult to find a decent place to eat around Odessa. HEB never lets me down. Their BBQ is amazing and the service was spectacular!!! Thank you to Tati, Sadie, and Esmi for taking care of us and making our amazing lunches!

1st of all let me start with my loaded Mac and cheese with chopped brisket was amazing 😋 wish I had taken a picture of it. The young man by the name Carlos was friendly and helped me decide on what to eat. The lady named Esperanza was very nice as she handed my food to me. The manger Daniel came out to great me and asked if there was anything he could get me , very friendly and respectful. I love going to Texas BBQ in Odessa...

I visited some family in Odessa and stopped at true Texas BBQ, Nubia offered her assistance right away and helped me choose the best on the menu! I had the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever tasted. And Nubia’s kindness ADDED ON to my excellent experience there. She is just awesome. I will definitely be stopping there every chance I get when going to Odessa. Thank you NUBIA!!!!

I had such a great experience at True Texas BBQ thanks to Danielle and Nubia. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Danielle made sure my order was taken quickly and with a smile, and Nubia went above and beyond to check in and make sure everything came out just right. They both showed excellent customer service, making me feel valued as a guest instead of just another customer. The food was delicious as always, but the outstanding service from Danielle and Nubia made the whole visit even better. I truly appreciate the effort and professionalism they showed—I’ll definitely be back, and I hope to see them again!

'm always pullin' up here, and every time the dining room is spotless. Like, for real-it stays clean, chill, and welcoming. When Nubia and Niah are around, you can tell they run this spot like pros. The brisket is amazing. I get sandwiches for my crew once a month from this location and they are always awesome. If you are planning a large order like I do call them the day before to make sure they have enough food on hand. The El Jefe sandwich is the best.

Wow!!!!!! Once again they've done it!!!! The food is amazing and nubia the cashier always recommends the best food ever. And don't forget the amazing food makers, Justin and miss esmi. They deserve a nice cold pillow to sleep on everynight!!!

Gentleman who made the food (white, sleeve of tattoos with a cool spiral pattern around his elbow) was amazing! He was at the front and assisted with our drinks when we had no idea what to do as it’s our first time. The shorter, young, lady who had full lashes was FaceTiming on her phone half the time we were sat and we first asked her for our drinks, didn’t ask what size, got us smalls, then the gentleman asked us if we had been helped. We explained we got large drinks but the lady was helping us and we were wondering where the fountain machine was. He had to correct her and she honestly looked irritated she got the wrong size but never asked us what size in the first place. She was doing great staying busy with cleaning; however, customer service was lacking today. The gentleman then fixed the spicy BBQ that was out, made orders, and took orders and was doing good. He asked how the food was and encouraged us to do the survey. He was amazing! Overall, great experience but wished more meat was in stock 🙂

We came in and ordered BRISKET beans. We get 3 orders of beans with NO brisket. We go to the counter and after showing the staff that there was clearly no brisket they proceeded to argue and explain the process of making the beans. After repeatedly showing no brisket the only solution they had was to give us our money back. This could have easily added some brisket but the way this was handled was not good customer service. Then after a refund, the manager comes back over with more beans...like you could have done that in rhe first place instead you lost a customer 🙄

Well, I tried to eat there tonight. Their self ordering kiosks are not user friendly, the staff was less user friendly. And ya might as well called them the “out house” because they were out of a lot of stuff. And I probably won’t be back. Hope the people of Odessa enjoy

I have a new place to not return for Bar BQ again ... I ordered a pound of sliced brisket with burnt ends and serrano corn bread . The brisket came cut up drowned is sweet BBQ sauce in a small cup . It was something you would make chopped beef sandwiches with. Tuff and kinda dry even with the drowned BBQ sauce. The corn bread was really dry and had no taste of any kinda pepper . It was actually more sweet than anything else! So my dog ate really good on $ 30.00 worth of food from this place .And to top it off , the cashier was really rude !

Order lunch for my staff like usual through Favor. Ordered 7 chopped brisket baked potatoes with the fixings. Received 7 Plain Baked Potatoes, a box of butter, and two bags of shredded. Potatoes were not made and there was no meat provided. Called restaurant and they were not able to anything about today but they would be able to tomorrow. They did not care that they provided make your own baked potatoes without the meat!!
