Opinions de Danny's Orchard Park
That place is amazing on Mondays! 10 cent wing night, can’t beat it. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and out going. Very personable and will help you anyway they can! The one bartender named Erica, she is very very friendly and throws off positive and fun vibes, making your time there very fun and unforgettable! The whole bartending staff is truly amazing and I can’t wait to go back!
Dannys is legitimately a problem for me. I go to Danny's at least five times a month. The soup and salad bar are out of this world! I just can't get enough of it. Soup and salad are my most favorite things and Danny's is the best.
Nice bar and restaurant with my favorite wing deal in buffalo… 10 cent wing Mondays where you must order 2 drinks for every 10 wings but they can be non alcoholic. The Tailgate sauce (saucy Cajun sauce) is my go to every time for wings but it definitely is spicy so if you don’t like heat I wouldn’t get these. Wings are huge and good quality. I would recommend trying them out for sure
This place is amazing the salad and soup bar is my favorite
We had just met with the Bills on the new stadium project and popped in. Great choice ! Hit roast beef was perfect! My copilot had the soup and salad bar. They had chicken wing soup and he raved about the jalapeno corn chowder! We ate at the bar. The bartend was very good. Lunches and drinks and nobody waited with an empty glass or left with an empty stomach! 5 outta 5!
Just amazing place for buffalo fans, great wing, great atmosphere, highly recommend!!!
Very accommodating to my dairy allergy. Salad bar is not huge. Still very good. They keep it stocked and clean. Soups are amazing!! Great place to grab a bite before or after the game
Salad and soup bar is great. Lots of choices. Roast beef sandwich was a little dry. Not the worst but nothing to brag over. The owner was on the floor and gave my grandson a fresh food plate while i was serving myself soup, which was thoughtful and unexpected. Willing to try it again.
Place is a great Buffalo staple. Come on Monday for .10 wings when you buy two drinks - acholic or not! Wings were delicious. 3 beers, wings and side sauces for just under $20
****Updating my review up to 5 stars from 4 for my 2nd visit on 11/08/19. The food was even better than the first time, place was packed, service was great...like I said, sometimes it's just a case of having a bad day and I'm all for giving a place a second chance (as long as I didn't hate it the first time!). Thanks for an amazing dinner Danny's! Oh, btw, the sweet potato fries are to die for! This was my first time there...food was great, got the Reuben-good amount of meat so no complaints there. The place was pretty empty though and just getting a lemon in the water didn't happen. We waited on our check for more than 10 minutes and had to hunt the waitress down. Maybe a bad day so I can't rate the place any more or less than I did. Atmosphere was nice and so were the people.
Atmosphere is casual dining. Specialize in chicken, steaks, fresh seafood and an awesome salad bar. Banquet facilities seat 5 -120 with full bar service. A true Buffalo Sports bar. Excellent food, service and atmosphere
Wonderful soup. The buffalo wings soup is my absolute favorite!!
Food was great. Nice Atmosphere, no complaints.
I come here every year when I’m in town for a bills game. I absolutely love this place! It’s my favourite bar on Abbott road. Great atmosphere. Great beer on tap and the chicken wings are a 10/10 in my opinion! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!
My wife and I ordered reuben sandwiches. Sandwiches were served half burnt. Marble rye was black! Waitress was VERY understanding, and took sandwiches back, and returned in a few minutes with 2 perfect Reuben sandwiches! Waitress apologized and took 1 sandwich off the bill! SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY is why we will be back and recommend Danny's south to everyone! My only regret is I don't remember Waitress name!
I'd give more stars if I could. We just had a memorial luncheon and the food was delicious, staff were wonderful and the setting very nice for a group of 80. Our event leader (Mindy) was organized and helpful. Salad bar had 4 kinds of soup and they were very accommodating for guests with special dietery needs. Highly recommend for any group gatherings.
I love both Danny's restaurant locations! I took a friend to Danny's South today after Christmas in the Country and, as usual, it disnt disappoint. We were seated immediately, the food was terrific as usual, the service outstanding.
I am reviewing based on our experience with their Monday night special $.10 wings. We had a gift certificate and were thrilled to hear they were still running this special. This is really the only time I come here to eat and it’s totally worth it. With the rising cost of chicken wings there is only a single order allowed per person. For each order of wings there must be 2 drinks ordered. Soft drinks are ok with the deal. Crudités and blue cheese are extra but worth it. You must also specify you are here for this deal when you arrive because only certain sections, usually around the bar, honor this deal. You can also order mini roast beefs, mozzarella sticks and pizza logs individually to go with your wings to round out the quintessential Buffalo meal. Wing sauce options include mild, medium, hot, extra hot, bbq, bbq sweet hot, garlic Parmesan, dry Cajun, general tso’s, bourbon glazed and maple fire. We tried an order of medium and also the general tso’s. Wings were all big and juicy and cooked perfectly. Very crispy with lots of sauce. The medium wasn’t too hot but have a lot of flavor and kick. The general tsao’s was a nice change up and was not too sweet. We also ordered 2 pizza logs and a mini roast beef which came with crinkle cut chips. Pizza logs were hot and delicious. I love being able to order 1 each and not having the guilt of eating a bunch. The mini roast beef was just ok. Not a ton of beef. It used to be $3, which was worth it but now is $5, no update on the price in the menu. I wouldn’t order it again plus we were full from the other food. Service was very good. Like the old school Buffalo that I remember. Everyone was friendly, fast and helpful. Even the hostess was happy to seat us and let us know that the kitchen was a little behind but we could get our drinks right away. It was great to have the heads up and not feel like we were being forgotten about. I appreciate this old school hospitality and wish it was more present today. I hear good things about their soup and salad bar. Everyone raves about their chicken wing soup. It has a lot of cream and potato which I can’t have so I take their word for it. Also a great parking spot to tailgate. If you park here you can use their restrooms. A real perk for the ladies!
Food was good. Good pricing. You were able to add on soup/salad bar for an additional $5.99. Four different kinds of soup to choose from in addition to the salad bar.
My first visit, I was thrilled with the large, varied menu, reasonable prices, warm, casual atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service. Tasty mixed drinks cost half of what I would have expected.
Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is fantastic and the servers are super personable and quick. You have to try the soup and salad bar. It's 13.99 now. They have the best chicken wing soup. Add some of their homemade croutons to it and it's a masterpiece in a bowl. They also have cute Dino nuggets for the kids!
Awesome food and even better service! Love Danny’s South. Go Bills!
Such a fine place to dine at. Lots of sports memorabilia hanging on walls. Service is great. Waitresses have good sense of humor!
Awesome friendly staff, calm atmosphere, terrific food. Friday fish fry was today's meal and it was spot on!
I always love this place. Not only because i am a Bills’ fan but also the place contains the history of the Bills. You can find the old bench and chairs from the very last stadium in the waiting room and then the whole collections of toys of all NSA or Disney Mickey. Plus the food is amazing. I love the soup and salad bar. Feel cozy feel home and feel Bills everywhere
“trust me Miami; no one will know.” “I dunno… Eating a fish still sounds wrong…” 🤫 I’ve had Danny’s Fish Fry take out and have always enjoyed it but this was my first time dining in. Service was great with a home style that makes you feel more like family than a customer. Salad bar doesn’t have a large variety but there’s enough there AND four soups, including their Buffalo Wing soup. Entrees are good, fair portions, reasonably priced. My only “ding” would be the decor; eclectic and feels a little dated. Not bad but nothing you’d expect these days. Overall all good enough that we’d GLADLY return and recommend to our friends. “Tell ‘em Jack n’ Hal sent you.” “Yeah, they may not know what it means but tell ‘em anyway.” 🐮🐮
I went here for lunch on a Wednesday (day before a Thursday night football game featuring the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills) It was crowded but not loud. I had the Ralph's Tuna Melt with potato chips for lunch. The melt was delicious with a big portion of tuna and cheese. I had to take the second half home for dinner. Danny's South is a well maintained pub with a neighborhood feel. It has Buffalo Bills and other area memorabilia. It also has a fine collection of Mickey Mouse memorabilia, toy trains and toy airplanes. It is a great dining experience for not only football fans but also families, couples and groups of all sizes. Enjoy and go Bills!
After spending all day at the Bill's location, my friend and I needed to eat IMMEDIATELY!! This was right up the road and I LOVED all the vintage knick knacks that they had. Our waiter (I wish I remembered her name but she was an older lady with an accent) was super sweet, friendly and funny (a definite plus when you're visiting an area for the 1st time!!) Our food came out quick and HOT and was amazing!! I had the cajun seasoned pork chops and my friend had the fish fry and it was sssoooo good. I didn't care for the greens but not enough to knock off a star. It was so good we wanted to take pork chops to go but didn't think reheating it in a microwave would do it justice. This place overall was so good. Should I end up this far north again, I will for sure be looking for those chops again!!
Stopped by after a recommendation by the hotel staff for a classic Buffalo roast beef on Weck. The food was very well made. The roast beef tender and not dry. The Weck was an interesting bun though, maybe a bit too salty for me on its own but worked well in combination with the roast beef and horse radish. Fries were done well and not soggy. Chicken wings in medium were just about exactly what I expected, so really only stand out when done poorly. Had a slice of coconut cream cheesecake. Enjoyed the contrast between the nuttiness and slight tang of the cheese and the crumb of the crust. Service was great and on point for what I wanted.
The people of South Buffalo know three things. Award winning buffalo wings, great hospitality, and winning football. Cathie and the staff were amazing and the reputation of this sports bar went above and beyond the standard. I highly recommend football fans visiting to give Danny’s South a try. You wont regret it. Thank you!
The food was great & so was the service. Started off with soup & salad, got my peanut butter pie to go.

First visit to this restaurant. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, plenty of parking. A really nice choice of food, including a soup and salad bar. My roast beef on weck was delicious. Great French fries. Friends enjoyed their choices also. The fish sandwich was huge.
Danny's is a staple restaurant for the region. The chicken wing soup is one of my favorites and the salad bar is usually well stocked and fresh. The menu is diverse and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is decent and has a lot of sports memorabilia and pop culture items. Kids eat free on Tuesdays as well. Probably the only bad thing I have to say is the food while usually pretty good, doesn't necessarily wow someone. All in all, you shouldn't be disappointed for a casual dining experience at this establishment.
Food and drinks are well priced. Can't go wrong with the endless soup and salad bar. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken wing soup and the cream of mushroom.
Food was pretty good, server was busy but doing her best. However I was concerned at the lack of plexiglass shields most other buffets have. You would think with the amount of money they charge, they could afford to take some more sanitary precautions.
My family and I were here years ago and since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to stop in for a nice dinner. The service was excellent. Apparently they were low on cooks, so the owner had to pitch in. My chicken and mushrooms was great. My son's wings were perfect, but my other son's clam strips were overcooked, and my wife received the wrong burger. We'll be back, but only if we're in the neighborhood.
Had a Roast beef sandwich with fries.. decent portion. Tasted good
Great food and fun place. Definitely Bills country! This is just a short distance from the stadium and they have a great variety of food. From classic and specialty burgers, to very tasty, crispy wings, to pasta dishes and fish fry. There is a salad and soup bar with 4 homemade soups on rotation. The atmosphere is very comfortable, the servers and staff were very friendly and the food was very good. I had the chicken marsala which was very tasty with a rich marsala wine sauce. Others with me had burgers which they said were very good. Great place for a small or large group and plenty of parking next to and behind the building. Game day it gets absolutely crazy but that is expected. Great food, friendly service and fun environment!
We were in town for a Buffalo Bills game and came across Danny’s. It was packed with Bills fans during the game. Our waitress was friendly and we had very good service. The beef on weck and wings were delicious. We ordered the peanut butter pie which was recommended by our waitress as it was made in house and it was very good as well. We would definitely go back. Don’t go there during home games if you are in a hurry or need to get out quickly.. it’s VERY close to the stadium and difficult to get in and out right around game time (which is to be expected).
Soup great, pumpkin was my favorite. Ch8cken wing and others can be strong, I put in some water or milk to tone it down. Salad bar fresh. every year our family goes for Thanksgiving. Everything great except their stuffing. Bland bread. They need to improve it by adding celery or water chestnuts. Saw other patrons turn their nose up. Saw people skip it. Come on!
I have driven by so many times and never had the chance to stop. Finally the opportunity aroses and got in to Danny's South for a group lunch. From the moment you walk in, Danny's gives you that warm welcoming Buffalo corner bar vibe with a heavy sprinkle of Buffalo Bills. They're in close proximity to both the old and new Buffalo Bills stadiums. From the larger dining area, if you look out the big window, you see the new stadium going up as your backdrop. Service is great and the staff was friendly. I went with the Buffalo platter, which had a beef on weck sandwich, four chicken wings and fries. Very filling. The beef was more well done than it would have liked, but was still surprisingly moist and tender. The wings were tasty but a little dry for me. The fries were as expected. Definitely a good meal overall. Especially if you're near the stadium and looking for a place to eat, this is going to be your best bet (within walking distance). A lot of history there and a worthy stop for sure.
Went here for lunch, took awhile to get seated by a woman with dyed red hair, she acted like we woke her up from a precious nap. The customers appear to still be sitting at the bar area from when the bills lost their last Super Bowl in the early 1990’s, so does the interior decor. Dusty sports memorabilia litters the restaurant, no rhyme or organization to the decor, sad sad interior. Our waitress didn’t like us or so it seemed at the way she rolled her eyes at us but we maintained our kindness and were never rude back. We ordered soup and salad, it was decent and the only reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1. I think it’s time for these owners to retire or turn over management to someone else. The staffs attitude was horrendous !!! The worst waitresses I’ve ever dealt with. Ever!! The waitress would roll her eyes every time I would ask for a refill or more napkins, they need to fire the hostess and both waitresses. I overheard the other waitress talking to the table near ours and she was quite possibly worse. If that’s possible.

I was a bit disappointed with this location of Danny's. I was there for an event, and the buffet food was late. When some of the entrees ran out before everyone had some, it was not replenished in a timely fashion. They had to be reminded multiple times for it to be replenished. Perhaps they were short staffed this day, but things were just not of the high quality I have regularly experienced at events or meals at the Danny's on Genesee in Cheektowaga.
The first time I came here was because I was told the beef on weck was excellent but it wasn't. The beef was sliced to thick and was a bit tough, and the bottom of the roll was so soggy I couldn't pick it up. The server brought me another roll and I was done. Today I decided to give the place another try. I ordered the half pound burger on weck, and I ordered it rare. I was served a medium burger. The server said she would have it redone. There should not be an issue with the food every time I've come here. Another thing is the server acted snooty and talked to me from behind as she came to the table. I do believe I'm done coming to Danny's South.
I ordered a mini beef and tea. And wanted to add soup and salad bar. Top of menu reads add soup and salad bar $5.99. Apparently - my beef was on the other page. So my small cup of soup and 1 scoop of salad was $16.69
Very mediocre. I ordered a turkey wrap - it was just deli meat and iceberg lettuce. Got the chips and they were ruffles. Could have saved myself $17 and made it at home. Husband got the roast beef mini weck and it was very salty. Salad bar was nothing special and some of the soups were very odd. Wouldn’t go there again, but it was clean and staff was friendly.
Got takeout wings, which were good but $33 for double? Seems dang excessive plus charging for the box?? It's not the amount but chintzy. At least the napkin was free.
Good atmosphere before and during the game and the wings were top notch, but the prices were out of control. $20 for 10 wings? $8.50 for a plastic cup of beer that was 10-12oz? Come on. It even said “pint” on the bill, but was nowhere near that in volume; literally half a pint. Definitely not coming back
The food is good but one of the wait staff was so weird I genuinely felt uncomfortable. Came in after a bills game and went up to the bar ordered a beer and some food. The bartender gave us a number for our food order and I took it back to the table bar table my wife was at. As soon as I sat down this one waitress with an Australian accent came over and LIT US UP. She was furious that we ordered food from the bar. Yelled at us that we shouldn't have done that and it was completely unfair to her. I had no idea why she was so pissed but assumed it had something to do with tips so in an attempt to calm her down I said don't worry we will still tip you, but no she kept scolding us and wouldn't let up until we were basically begging her forgiveness and to just go away. It was so incredibly weird and uncomfortable... There is no indication anywhere about where or from who you should be ordering food from, especially from a place as busy as thus... if there was I would have done so. Maybe have these unspoken rules known up front, or don't make your customers feel like jerks for doing nothing wrong?
Food is nothing special, when it's 5 degrees, soup is perfect, not genius stuff. Alot of waiting for expensive food
I used to love going to Danny's as I think they have a great salad bar and soup but lately the service has been rough and the price of the salad bar continues to climb. 16.59 for me to have a salad…
This is the first time we have had a bad experience here. We came for the mothers day brunch. Several hot food items were cold. My husband hated the chicken a la king. Three members of our party had walkers. It was a lot of walking for them. It seems like the set up could be different. For $33 a plate we expected their normal quality of food. Our waitress was great and very attentive for being so busy.
Have been going here most my life, the soup and salad bar has fallen all the way off. No choice in lettus, pasta salad was old and smelled weird. All Soups were bland. Chicken wing soup was not as good as it use to be. Server was great and in thr defense wing fest was going on. But this is not the 1st time I was disappointed in food quality.
This is a pretty famous spot in Orchard Park. I've been here before and after many Bills games and it's always been a fun time. But this past weekend we stopped after the game and we wanted to eat. It was early evening and not that busy. But there were no bar spots available so we sat at a table. We sat there for no less than 10 minutes with bartenders and staff walking directly past us without even being acknowledged. If I wasn't drunk and hungry I would've walked out for sure. Needless to say finally we got waited on and had a watered down vodka soda and bland, overcooked buffalo chicken sandwiches. Anyways, I like the bar and I would advise sitting directly in front of a bartenders face if you want service. I'll be sure to stay at O'Neill's, Biergarten or Big Tree before I go back to Danny's
I ordered online and it said to pick up in 20 minutes. I arrived and the head waitress stared at me. She commented to the younger hostess, he's here already? We just got his order, which I replied. I placed the order at 733pm and it said pick up in 20 minutes, it is now 753pm. I'm just going by the message I received. I honestly can say it ruined the experience. The food wasn't bad but I prefer not to go back. I honestly didn't feel welcomed and they were not even busy. Lastly, it stated spend 25 dollars and get a complimentary chicken wing soup. I never received it, and didn't have the energy to ask. I just wanted to leave.
If you are going to be closed every Sunday for the whole summer PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE! Me and my boyfriend planned to have lunch today, we looked it up and it says “open” we get to the door and there’s a sign that you guys are closed literally every Sunday. PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITEEEEE!! So now we are angry hot and hungry.
Second time in 6 months that my husband and myself stopped in for lunch. We sat at the bar and the service was very slow! There was only 1 server for both the bar and the tables around the bar. It took over 20 minutes after we were finished eating to even get our bill. There should really be 2 servers in that area to take care of all the customers. We will not be back for a long time!
We go every week. Waitress “Karen” is awesome. The owner constantly has the place understaffed and the poor servers are running raged. That is employee abuse. Tonight the owner in public chastised a longtime employee who works harder than anyone I have ever seen. He needs to learn how to manage a restaurant . Food is good.
We get takeout from the south location about once a month. They are usually friendly and the food is a bit pricey but great Unfortunately our most recent visit was not up to the usual standard. First I ordered a side of tartar sauce-which I was charged $1.50 for-and they forgot it. Then they forgot our fries and had to catch us as we were pulling out of the lot. Then they came back out AGAIN and told us they'd given us an extra soup and we needed to pay for it. We gave it back instead... Food is good but not going back after this crummy experience. Paid 85 bucks--including a ten dollar tip!!-- for lunch takeout I expect things to be as I ordered and not charged 1.50 for something they didn't even remember to give, and taking back the soup was just gross and frankly rude.
The Food is overpriced kids lunchroom food. Paid $30 bucks for 2 rubbery shrimp skewers, pre cooked can tasting plain rice and I can't even explain the corn. It was so bad. Frozen, cheap, not seasoned and everything was microwaved. The server was great, that is the only reason this place got 2 stars. Oh and all the soups tasted watered down and had a weird underlying flavor. Couldn't put my finger on it.
We go there all the time but not as much as we used to. I went with my brother just to have a couple pictures of beer and a quesadilla. The bill came to $74 I couldn’t believe pictures of beer for domestic was $18 a picture the owner ever since they updated their restaurant raised all the prices and the place is always half empty

The days of Danny’s has come and gone. Years ago (I am talking in the last 10 years) we came solely for the soup and salad bar which was always an incredible deal. This has increased so much over the last few years and is now $17pp. I can get the exact same at Olive Garden (salty soup included) for cheaper and honestly better service. We visited this evening and the food was mediocre and such a disappointment. For $50 for two sandwiches and the soup and salad bar it is highway robbery. Thankfully, I’ve learned to make the chicken wing soup and croutons at home myself and it even tastes better than what you get here. If it weren’t for the stadium Danny’s would’ve closed shortly after the pandemic. We won’t ever return nor will we ever get takeout here again.
Went for Mother's Day brunch. There's nothing worse than cold eggs! My Mom's chicken was pink. We had a large party but no one finished their $33 plate. The waitresses were hustling- kudos to them but overall, very disappointing.
We stop there after every game for wings and park in the lot … never again. Service is bad . Food is so - so I can make better at home . Mark the owner is ignorant to his customers when asked simple questions. 2.00 for a pre boiled wing is crazy!!! Big tree across the street is better quality and the service and ppl are very nice
Went to dinner with my husband, my parents and my aunt, and I have to say I am very unhappy with this place. My husband ordered a frozen margarita and when the waitress brought it, it was watery and had froth on the top of it. It wasn't frozen at all. There was no tequila in it either. It was just the mix in there. We all ordered our food. I got the salad bar and when I walked up to it, there was iceberg lettuce only, cheese, broccoli mushrooms and 4 kinds of dressing. Not impressed so far. Food finally arrives. Food was terrible. I ordered the Ruben and it was very dry and over cooked. My husband ordered the open face steak sandwich, which he ordered medium, came to him burnt and shriveled. It was an insult. My aunt ordered the chicken marsala and her mashed potatoes were ice cold and the carrots were slimy. My mom ordered a steak sandwich and the steak on the sandwich was non-existent. It was mostly bread, peppers and a scant amount of steak on it. My dad ordered the chicken parm and the chicken was tough and dry. The waitress wasn't very friendly nor did she seem familiar with the menu. This place is very unprofessional. The atmosphere is nice there, but that is not enough for me to ever want to return to this place ever again. Sorry Danny's, you lost 5 more patrons. Would NEVER recommend.
I liked this place but also just got a rancid bowl of chicken wing soup. I wouldn't risk it again. I just got a cold beef on weck and wings. The fries were hot. I can't order here ever again.
This place has gone downhill fast. The soup is almost inedible now. Used to be great. I don't know what's in it now, but it taste awful. For 2 of us it ended up being $50 with tip. That's 2 Soup & Salad Buffet and 2 Cokes. Such a waste. I could have found way better for $50. I cannot recommend this place anymore.
Server was I think a little annoyed that there were 12 of us she knew a couple people out of the group so she was good to them we went in for the Wings special but I always get additional items as well, my mother and I both got the soup and salad bar and each got 10 wings and obviously our drinks server said it would be cheaper to do 10 wings @ Full price and add the salad bar. Well that’s definitely not true. We paid $17 for an order of wings and then six dollars for the salad bar add-on rather than paying $17 for the salad bar and getting 10cent Wings then she wouldn’t give my daughter a To Go cup for her drink even though she is a child because she’s not nine so she can’t give her a kids cup didn’t make any sense to me as she brought an adult a kid cup for his coffee at our same table just a very uncomfortable experience for the first time usually I love going here we go there all the time and don’t usually have a bad experience until today very disappointed
We have in laws in from Miami, on 7/15/25 we went to Danny’s for dinner. My wife uncle had the chicken Marsala and her cousin had chicken Alfredo. They both ended up with food poisoning. Why wife orders a mr steak instead it’s well done. Same for my son mr burger. We will never go there again.
Went to Dannys Restaurant for lunch. Seated promptly, waitress 1 comes up (prepared with poor attitude) asks for drinks, asked if they had Pepsi "NO, only coke" same person asks about root beer instead "ugh, just birch beer" ok that was settled. Next question do you have loganberry? "Just whatever is listed here" abruptly shoving arm in face and pointing to the menu. Drink crisis managed. Returns with drinks, we ask what the specials were (see picture that says specials everyday lunch and dinner). First answer "uh we don't have specials on the weekend". Confused I point to the menu, story changes, "well we have NEVER had specials during lunch" again confused I point out it says lunch and dinner. Attitude is huge now, she says have a great day and walks away. Not even 2 feet behind our backs she asks waitress number 2 to take over "those people over there." She comes to the table, and we jokingly asked if the other lady didn't want us. Again, with attitude "were very busy and we work together" (3 tables were seated, plus us, and we overheard the previous conversation). She tries to back pedal, I ask for the bill for the drinks that were delivered and stated we will go somewhere else to which the last comments were "The drinks are on me, I don't need that attitude." In a world where money is tight, and business is tough... I would suggest you reconsider the staff you hire to represent your organization. Also of note, when I asked to speak to a manager I was ignored and given even more attitude. Deuces Danny's. (Can't rate food since we only took a few sips of flat pop)
Service horrible went for eagles bill game waited 45 min waitress ignored our group. Finally left.
My friend and I walked in for lunch stood at the front desk for at least 5 minutes. Finally got a table and took another 7 minutes for a server to come and ask about drinks. I couldn't even tell who our server was we had 3 different people come to the table. Then they took all our plates and silverware and didn't even ask if we need more for more soup and salad. Finally I asked for a box and my friend was giving me hers to box up also and the server just took it and never asked if we were done. My check came and I couldn't even read anything on it no prices or anything. Chicken wing soup cold. Staff cold and if ur not a regular they pay no attention to u at all. I'll never go back ever
Taking back an extra soup a customer already walked out the door with that you cant sell to another customer is rude and nasty. Makes me think they did go against standards and resell the soup.
I ordered the Philly steak & cheese and it was a huge disappointment. The meat was completely overcooked and tough — I couldn’t even get through more than two bites. I let the staff know, expecting them to at least comp the meal or offer something comparable. Instead, they gave me a tiny piece of peanut butter pie as a “make good,” which felt more like an insult than customer service. When you pay for a meal, especially something as simple as a steak & cheese, it should at least be edible. I left still hungry and very dissatisfied. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent Philly.
So this use to be a favorite for soup and food! NOT ANYMORE we specifically asked for no tomato’s on my chicken Caesar wrap it was covered with them and black olives yuck 🤢 . I served before and was a hostess so not to make sure you would want these on a wrap how unusual and yet to blame us as patrons. We call a first then a second time after noticing the fries were so soggy for both orders and just inedible food! So nowhere would you think to not ask for black olives on a Caesar chicken wrap as she blamed me and onions on the wrap when it’s not on the menu and that is something a lot of people think is gross (black olives) and or would ask about if I wanted the black olives on the wrap ! She lied about the whole situation! After we received the food we called back and they said a manager would call us back because we didn’t feel like driving back! After we decide that both of our fries were soggy as well and my wrap was messed up didn’t want tomatoes on it especially black olives! Not to mention she forgot the ranch we asked for!!! Don’t care if she charged us for it or not! My boyfriend comes in to pick up the food that they remade for the second time and the manager and hostess are screaming at each other very unprofessional and yet thought the manager wasn’t there hmmm& whoever took the order should be nice and as well as the manager she’s the one who made the mistake and not lie! it’s not unreasonable to be upset to not want to eat something you don’t want or like! It’s Christmas time and I don’t want to waste money on food that I did not want to eat nor felt like driving back for! Thanks the next batch was good (not) it still had tomato’s in it!!! that I did not want! and two extra dressings! I called back and she swore there was no tomato’s then how do you explain these pictures WTH all in it hope someone calls me back when I spend my hard earned money and get disrespected because I’m unhappy with the food and it’s reasonable why I am as was sworn none were mixed in now what if I had a allergy I don’t but wow I just wanted my order right. Never ever again hope I ever get a refund on my wrap that is currently in the trash if they want the pictures ! Was about to finally dig in and eat it with my finally extra dressing until I see tomato’s!since a refund is so hard?! Why would I lie and still never got a call back nor refund so never again!
After passing multiple signs on the walk in stating the Patio is Open! I inquired if the patio was indeed open. The host stated yes. As long as it wasn't raining. I replied it wasn't, it was nice and sunny. Another girl arrived and stated she would seat us on the patio. We proceeded to sit outside for 15 minutes with zero service. I then returned my menus to the same girl who sat us who was standing at the host stand and informed her "you shouldn't seat people on the patio if they aren't going to be waited on. She just replied "ok". I reiterated "that's really not cool I was just trying to come here to eat" I again got the reply of "ok". Sharing this review only to deter future customers from attempting to eat at Danny's as the staff clearly could care less if they have customers or not.
Honestly can't recommend going here. We went a few years ago and it was great. The steak this time was tough and the food made my father sick. The veggie lasagna was tough on the bottom and the sauce was overly garlic flavored. I love garlic but that was too much. Not to mention the waitress tried to charge us for another tables food, wings and drinks. Thankfully my sister caught the mistake. It felt like the waitress knew she was making the mistake but was hoping we would not realize. Hopefully they read this review and make some changes. Really sad to see it go downhill like this.
Just recently had my grandma 86th birthday party there they put us in a small corner part of the restaurant seating and just put up some room divider partitions wasn't very roomy you were on top of the other table next to you .The food was a whole nother story the beef was over cooked the pork chops were way over cooked and dry we didnt get what we picked from there catering package and it felt like they were just rushing us along they removed the food before even giving anyone a chance to have more and they were ready for us to move on to the cake and then it was like ok here's your check you ready to go ! I had a very nice time seeing my family members and surprising my gram but I wouldn't use this venue again. It's good for a place after a good round of beer drinking before or after a game that way you dont mind the taste of the food ! But this is not a go to for a good dinner at the price you can get better else were for sure or maybe its just to over whelming for them to do a catered menu Like I said I would not recommend
First time here and will not return. Maybe fire Darlene- bartender. Who is rude to her waitress infront of guest (our first impression), slams menus down and huffs and puffs. You ask her if everything is ok she says she’s annoyed and has a head ache then continues to sit on her phone when 10 new guest arrive at the bar. Got food to go and left. Awful service awful atmosphere
extremely pleasant staff. Definitely in need of updating. Pricey salad bar, definitely not worth it- We could have eaten at Hamburg Brewery for the same price and had fabulous meal with the best atmosphere. The chicken wing soup is delicious, but beyond that I won’t be back.
Im very disappointed that Danny's was closed this Sunday. My family and I drove all the way from Niagara Falls to enjoy the soups and salads, only to see a paper sign on the door reading it was closed. They're closed every sunday (except bill days) till March. I wish they would update their website (where its more clear) and google maps times.
I have gone to Danny's over the years. I am so sad and disappointed with the service we received tonight. The server was down right rude. My older uncle asked how the food was coming and her answer was "I don't cook it". We had to pass down our drinks, she stayed In one spot and we had to pass everything down to each other. She didn't come back to give us equal for the iced tea. My dishes piled up being I had the soup and salad bar. I put them in the table behind me. She brought the check l, left it at the end of the table and walked away. No I'll be back to get that. Just plain rude. I told the manager who was very nice and offered me a 25 gift certificate. I refused it being I will never come back to this establishment again. I am a big supporter of local businesses and we spent a lot of money for horrible service and mediocre food. We will not return
I went to the Orchard Park location Friday, we spent $68.00. I took my meal home for lunch the next day, since I didn't eat it immediately, I did not know the noodles in my lasagna were not cooked. When we called to complain, we received no apologies, and quite the nasty attitude. I will never return.
Welp… we have not been he in ten years or more. I ask for a unsweetened ice tea with a lot of lemon. I got one sliver of a slice. My son was in bathroom. She said I see you have a kids menu there I said yes! The look of discussed on her face. Felt like being rushed to order she came over 2x. Would refill one glass at the table at time instead of just bringing 3 for the 3 of us. Felt like she/server was high or she live in la la land. Food was nothing special! I remember the salad bar was hoppen back in the day felt like it was not the same. The wrap was dry. Roast beef sandwich was dryer then dry.
