Orchid Court offers a great dining experience with impeccable service and a diverse menu. The newly remodeled restaurant provides a high-quality atmosphere. Standout dishes include the watermelon tataki, General Tso chicken, and Mongolian beef. Breakfast buffet and omelet options are also popular.
Tip: Ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side. Frans, the server, knows the menu backwards and forwards and can make great recommendations.
Well the tradition continues thanksgiving lunch Foos awesome Mustafa is a true gentleman it’s always great to see him Yet again another thanksgiving in the books matthew and his team mostapha heather and Wilkens took very good care of us When you go to a restaurant and you are treated so well Great service great food Thanks to heather she read the table so well and to our great friend mostapha thank you for making our day special awesome experience for thanks giving buffet Sid at the host stand always a professional and Mustafa our server is fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble for him ' the choice of foods was outstanding and super fresh great choices highly recommend
Very tasty wok buffet. You pick what you want in the stir fry. Chicken, steak, shrimp or tofu. All the veggies you could ask for. Many choices of sauce from spicy on down. Great for kids or adults. Nice views and a good ambiance. I have come here probably 8 times over the years. Good value for your money.
Great Asian food. And very kind servers. We came here twice
This is a cool place at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, which offers both Asian and American cuisine. The menu has plenty to choose from. I’ve eaten at this restaurant twice for breakfast and once for dinner. I love how there is a breakfast buffet, in which you can serve yourself whatever healthy and delicious breakfast items you want! For dinner, there is also an offer on the menu, in which you make your own meal, and you watch a chef make it for you! A truly awesome culinary experience! At the start of building your meal, you grab as many vegetables as you want to, and then the chef will ask you if you want rice, noodles, or both at once! After that, the chef asks you which one of three sauces you want on your rice or pasta; curry, BBQ sauce, or tomato sauce. Next, the chef fires up the stove and pits plenty of cooking oil inti the pan, and tosses the vegetables around and then apples the pasta and the sauce the you’ve requested. This cooking goes on for 2 minutes, and when it’s done, the chef immediately gives it to you, wishing you an enjoyable meal and an exceptional dining experience! The waitress at my table was quite friendly all three times I went there, and made sure that I was truly having an awesome culinary experience!!!! Just like Jake’s American Restaurant nearby, the fans on the ceiling look like sea shells, to make it feel like you’re at a restaurant, which also feels like it truly is in a tropical paradise. AWESOME SAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breakfast is where it's at. The buffet at breakfast we think about all the time once we return home from vacation. The staff are always more than accommodating and so very friendly. One waiter carried my daughter's plate to our table for her. You cannot beat the hospitality and the food is delicious. Must go for sure.
This restaurant has delish food. The Green Curry Chicken was sublime... Thanks to Chef Jeremy... Wait staff are courteous, friendly, and very patient when I was struggling with so many great choices... Thanks Melita... And finally to the glue that keeps the whole place running smoothly... Thanks to Anna, Hostess extraordinaire... This place is where you want to go for excellent Pan-American food.
Go here for dinner (not breakfast)! Had the option to experience both breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was mediocre but Dinner is fantastic! the Bulgogi Steak was cooked very well and flavorful. Husband loved the general tsos chicken as well. Kids ate up the mac n cheese and the fruit side was ginormous.
My boyfriend and I ate breakfast here during our recent stay. The breakfast selection was great and wasn’t overwhelming compared to other buffets. The price was affordable and the service was great. Our waiter was Z and he was awesome!!!! He was so attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. We will definitely be back
We had 6 people and all were very happy with the wok experience for dinner. Service was excellent.
It’s one of if not the best place to have Asian cuisine. The Mongolian beef is by far the best I ever had. My wife and I went 5 years ago and both were dreaming of getting it again. We just got back and both the food and the staff didn’t disappoint. Give the restaurant a shot it’s worth it!!
Staff was exceptional. Anna was the most courteous and professional hostess I've encountered, she's very special. Our server Elena was amazing, constantly checking on us and refilling our waters and making us feel so welcome. Nigel the manager was superb!! We had a wonderful conversation with him, he made us feel like we were more than guests, we felt like old friends. Even the food runners were awesome, he complemented my Bob Ross shirt. Little details like that matter, and the food is worth coming back for alone. My friend and I came for the magical dining experience but we'll definitely come back to dine from the full menu next time. We had such a lovely experience, thank you so much to everyone for giving us such a wonderful night.
Memorable. Have eaten breakfast and dinner here. The service is superb. I had the broccoli tofu lo mein which sounds simple but was seasoned to perfection. Portions tend toward generous. Pricing is more reasonable than other parks I've been to recently. Breakfast bar was very well stocked with higher end options including salmon, overnight oatmeal with cinnamon and hand made cinnamon rolls. Patrons could also order custom omelets. Seating is comfortable for most body types. Spacing around tables is comfortable for any mobility needs. #ada #access #salmon #cinnamon #omelet #tofu #bacon #service #conference #light #pool #tropical
WOW this place was impressive! From the newly-remodeled decor, to the service, to the delicious food, it was an excellent experience from start to finish! Our server, Franz, knew that menu backwards and forwards. He told us everything was good (spoiler: he was right!), but recommended a few key dishes to try! We ended up having the lumpia, Thai chicken lettuce wraps, steak lo mein, pork pho, and ube flan. EVERYTHING was sooo yummy and definitely items we would order againg, if we didn’t want to try the rest of the menu that is. My husband fell in love with the ube flan! He wanted to go back again our next day for it! Franz gifted me a glass of wine for my birthday which was so sweet! Overall this was a wonderful restaurant and we can’t wait to come back!
My husband and I tried the Island's Dining Room at the Royal Pacific Resort for the breakfast buffet. We had never visited the resort before, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, classy, calming and lovely. The staff was personable, friendly and engaging. The selection on the buffet was vast. We especially enjoyed the hot cinnamon rolls, the tres leches overnight oats, the omelet station and all the fresh fruit! Shout out to Kannita who took great care of us (and everyone else around us!).
Had a fantastic dinner here and everyone in our family was able to find something on the menu that was delish! We mentioned that our daughter was hoping to go to the sushi restaurant upstairs, and our waiter, Frans, immediately offered to let her order off the menu from their sushi restaurant. He was super sweet, accommodating and knowledgeable of the different menu items. For starters, we really enjoyed the chicken lettuce wraps that had the perfect level of heat. They brought out a unique and tasty amuse bouche that was a white bean hummus with shrimp chips. My husband ordered the snapper for his entree and loved it. I had the panang curry with fried rice and it was super tasty with a great spice level. 🫶🫶🫶
First time here, and the food (General Tsao chicken and Panang Chicken curry) were delicious, as was the peanut salad. We were also gifted a hummus and white bean appetizer which was very good.
Islands South Pacific theme definitely enhances your dining experience. We recently ate there while staying at the Royal Pacific Resort. Our meal consisted of Mongolian Beef and Chicken Fried Rice. Served with hot green tea and bread. The Mongolian Beef wasn’t cooked the same as on prior visits. It was still tasty but not served as warm as usual and had some gristle. The Chicken Fried Rice was delicious with large pieces of chicken. In all a very good meal for two.
Amazing decoration details and fantastic service. Everyone was super nice and helpful and the food is excellent. The breakfast buffet has a large amount of items available and all are really good quality. I loved the smoked salmon, it was super delicious! Dinner there is just as good as breakfast. I had the Korean ribeye steak which was excellent, cooked to my liking and really flavorful. Definitely recommend!
One word: Amazed! Breakfast buffet here was simply delicious, the omelet made to order, wow! Also, I would come back here simply for their cinnamon rolls, I kid you not, these were phenomenal. Buffet is on the pricier end but so worth it!
I recently dined at island dining room and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The star of our evening, however, was our waitress, Katherine. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and well-cared-for throughout our visit. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her ability to balance professionalism with genuine warmth truly enhanced our dining experience. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Each dish demonstrated a commitment to quality and creativity. Katherine's exceptional service, combined with the delicious food and delightful atmosphere, made our evening truly special. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit!
We had breakfast at the Island's Dining Room every morning of our stay. We had the same server Sam a couple of days and he made our dining experience amazing. We know he sees a lot of people but he made it feel personal and exceptional. The buffet was always stocked and the made to order menu items were always fresh.
I enjoyed a great all you can eat breakfast at the resort today. Good variety of food and plenty of omelet options. Jaurius was a fantastic waiter and had us laughing at 8am, which is a feat in itself! He really made it an experience that I would recommend for anyone!
Heather was our server and she was amazing as was our food. Brussel Sprout appetizer, with general tso chicken, and Mongolian beef. Fantastic. We stayed at a different hotel but the menu was better at this one. Again the service was great along with the food.
Food was great quality, creative, and customer service was impeccable. We tried the watermelon tataki which looks like tuna sashimi and tastes super refreshing and yummy. The restaurant was not busy at 6pm on a Tuesday night. Everything was enjoyed. Enjoy!
Came here twice because of the spectacular service. We had the same waitress twice, and she went above and beyond both times. On the second visit, I did the wok experience, and it was well worth it (although it isn't cheap). The manager was very kind and gave us a discount because it was someone's birthday.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is 10/10. It gave TAO quality food for a more affordable price. Ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side, it’s delicious. Next time I’m in Orlando, I will surely return.

The whole restaurant has been revamped and the food is amazing now. The ribeye in particular was the best I’ve ever had in Florida. Beats out Big Fire by a large margin. Service was great and food came out quick and hot. Will probably end up eating here multiple times in one trip.
The newly remodeled restaurant (October 2025) looks and feels very different than its previous incarnation, for the better. It now feels and is higher quality in every way, from the food, to the service received. I would recommend eating here for anyone staying in the resort or in the area.
The Asian inspired menu provided many delicious choices for dinner. The Brisket Pho did not disappoint. I would definitely get it again. Michelle told great care of our party of 12.
We just had the best dinner here. We both had the chicken fried rice. We also ordered the passion fruit margarita. So so good. And our server was amazing. I wish I got her name. If you are staying at the Royal Pacific resort at universal. I highly recommend this place. If you was able to give more then 5 stars I would. Love this place. Can't wait to eat breakfast on the morning.

I really enjoyed the food and selection was amazing. I has the curry really filling and they give you lots of meat. If you can go on a fri or sat because of the buffet and it's great value. If you are staying at the hotel connected, would highly recommend. Dinner can be $$$ depending on what you order.
We made an early dinner reservation and that was the perfect compliment after a busy day at the parks. Eating that early meant a quieter atmosphere, and the food is EXCELLENT. The lettuce wrap appetizer was fresh and flavor-spicy without being too hot, and was large enough for 3 people. The coconut soup was the best I've ever tasted! The coconut, lemongrass, and ginger combined into a mild balanced flavor spiced by the occasional coriander seed and cilantro leaf. They also have the wok experience where you choose your own ingredients and it's all-you-can-eat, through they had only one soup option with that; I think offering a small cup of the coconut soup would be the best of both worlds. Overall this is a great choice if you like tropical flavors paired with pan-Asian cuisine.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The waiter was not the best and told us about their all you can eat hibachi deal for $39 per person which sounded great. He mentioned that most of the menu items were included on this deal. We were sold by that comment and were very disappointed by their offerings. Only one soup, old lettuce in the salad bar. Like 3 choices of toppings. The rest were a few choices to bring to be cooked and 3 small desserts. For that price we could’ve went to a real hibachi place. The only good thing was that the chef was very polite and fast. They were short staffed and the one waiter recommended that deal to the whole restaurant. Would not recommend.
I was a little concerned after reading some reviews, but after a long day, we decided to stop here for dinner. We ordered the Mongolian Beef and Chicken Fried Rice. Both were edible, but we didn’t enjoy them as much as we had hoped. When the bill arrived, I noticed that the amount on the slip was higher than expected, appearing to include a 30% tip. I mentioned this to our waiter, who clarified that it was not an automatic tip but rather a mistake on her part. She corrected it promptly. I recommend being attentive to the bill amounts. Overall, while the food didn’t wow us, the service was friendly and accommodating, making it a decent option for a casual dinner.
If you’re staying at the Royal Pacific you will probably end up eating at either this place (Island Dining Room) or Jakes right next to this one. GO TO JAKES!!!! Island Dining Room was ok. My biggest complaint was the service was ridiculously slow. After 20 minutes of sitting at the table all we had was water (they have a person that goes around filling water cups). Finally someone came and took our order. The wait for the food was another ridiculously long 30 minutes. It felt like we sat at this place for several hours, but it was only 2 hours from the time we sat down and the time we left. Crab Rangoon’s were pretty good. Our kid loved the pizza. The potstickers were ok and the general chicken tasted like one of those pf Chang kits you buy at the grocery store. Go to Jakes. Jakes is far better.

POG juice was tasty. The bagel was just ok. The banana nut muffin needed flavor and more nuts, a bit dry. I’m taking a star off since I had to pay a 15% take out fee. I was trying to be Covid responsible and dine in my room but I was charged extra to be cautious. The other dining places at Universal Orlando Resort I’ve been to do not charge this take out fee so I was just a bit confused.
Abysmal!! Eat somewhere else! I ordered the $49.99 Tokyo Style Lo Mein Steak (ribeye) medium rare. They delivered the wrong dish (tofu) so I sent it back and waited a good while. Meanwhile my family is eating and enjoying. Streak comes out and I kid you not, this thing was thinner than my pinkie. Medium rare? Impossible! That thin, there’s no way. I should have taken a photo. Shameful. They should be embarrassed to serve something like that. Any random ribeye from any retail grocery store is at least inch + thick. Manager never came to apologize. Instead, discounted the check 20%. And who cares about an apology…they don’t care about the quality of their menu. Go somewhere else folks!
Let me start with the food first. My food was great (Wok Experience). The gentlemen that cooked my wok dish was fantastic and he enjoyed experimenting with me. I told him I like everything and he literally cooked it with all the meet and such. it was fabulous. My girlfriend did not get the Wok Experience and instead got General Tso's chicken. She said it wasn't the best she's had and it was salty. I did try some and she was right - it was a bit salty. Now my major issue was with the service. Besides being incredibly slow and not attentive - they totally forgot or didn't even care about the fact that it was my birthday. We had made sure to point that out at the time of the reservation AND when we checked in. The atmosphere was nothing special so not going to rate that high. No refills, didn't check on us to see if everything was good, and didn't even collect the extra plates from me going up to get more food from the Wok experience.
Now: My review has changed. 3 years ago this place was 5 stars. Now the food and service is very different. My husband ordered the shrimp fried rice and it was bland to the point he didn't want to finish it. The gluten free options are more limited and my favorite dishes from before are no longer there or have changed for the worse. Service was slow and inattentive. Disappointing that it has declined so much. 3 years ago: Every time I eat here for dinner, I am never disappointed. They are Celiac friendly, the food is good quality and consistent, and service is on point too. We have ordered most items on the menu from the Korean Ribeye (super tender) to their Crunchy Thai Salad (very flavorful), this restaurant is one of the best in Universal.
- Buffet quality is 👎 There is NO coffee and tea corner. Only 1 type of juice. Pretty basic, Not many options. Same everyday. - Service is nice though. The servers Mr. Mustafa and Sam are exceptional.
Who is writing these reviews?? The breakfast buffet was pretty bad. The eggs were like in a cafeteria/hospital and the bacon were overdone. The omelet station is ok but there wasn’t always an attendant there. Definitely not worth it. The room service breakfast we tried was mediocre at best. Even the Tahitian French toast was really soggy. We tried to come for dinner but it was really dirty and we just gave up and went somewhere else.
I have to say the restaurant was very nice and clean! The staff was friendly as well. We did the breakfast Buffet which was alright. It was average, it wasn’t the greatest but not the worst either. The food that was served at the buffet was very very similar to an Embassy Suites breakfast buffet and triple the price. We paid over $120 for just 4 people. Not worth it.

Avoid this place. My husband and I are younger (23&24) so not the first time we have experienced terrible service because of this. They will service the family of 4 next to us perfect while we get mediocre service. Food was awful, miso soup is a joke, it tastes incredibly cheap while you’re paying close to $100 for 2 people. Will not be back
Made reservations for new year celebration for party of 8. Advertised as an amazing seafood buffet. Upon arrival, the food choices were poor, far from being seafood buffet. Food quality was very poor, three people got food poisoning. The price tag for food provider was super high. Mac and cheese for kids was $45. However our waitress was provided great service. Left message with restaurant management, no answer.
Came here for Thanksgiving, drove 2 hours and mother-in-law drove 5 hours to meet us halfway in Orlando. 75 dollars for a buffet with a "sushi bar" and deserts. I mean, every buffet comes with that stuff. The entertainment was great and I feel like that's what we ended up paying for by the end of it. The short ribs were dry, there were only two selections of sushi (no vegetarian options), you only had maybe at most 4 options for desert and about 5-6 options for entrees, 2 if we're excluding sides; short rib and salmon. The carrots were phenomenal.. 75 dollars worth? Never. 450 dollars for five people to eat there. Biggest rip-off I've ever experienced, as far as restaurants go. If you're rich, why would you go here? Go somewhere with better food. If you're poor, dont come here, it's not worth the money. Go to Denny's. They have a larger selection at least.
My wife and I were very disappointed with our visit although our server was great. He took our drink and appetizer order, and quickly returned with our drinks. Our appetizer took around 20 minutes. Once they dropped off the appetizer (lettuce wraps), the food runner stated our main order was ready in the window to be delivered. We did not even start on our appetizer. A few minutes went by and they brought our order out, which we had them return. We asked our server to have the chef remake the food once we were ready, about 10 minutes later. The food runner brought our dishes out again and they looked very dry, like they had been sitting in the window and were the original dishes they tried to bring to us previously. We let our server know and he quickly got the manager to come to our table. The manager listened and apologized for the bad experience and comped our drinks and appetizer as we decided not to have them remake the dish.
Absolutely pathetic dinner. They simply are serving bland food in the name of Pan Asian. Please avoid Vegan Drunken noodle at all cost. The one we ordered was stale, bland and absolutely terrible. The red curry was below average as well. The waiter was nice though the service was slow. However, what turned out an absolute disaster was when the server asked for our room key when he asked us if we would like to get the cheque charged on our room key or will pay by card and we said please charge it on the room. The server went ahead further and even double checked my name on the room key and verified if I am the right person. This shows absolute disrespect and lack of trust in your guests.
