My wife and I went on Saturday the 31st and had a wonderful dinner. Ashley was our sever and was very helpful when ordering our dinners and making sure we had what we needed. It was our first time there and we were pleased with the experience.

Stacy was the best server I think I have ever had! She was so kind and so personable, she MADE our entire experience, please give her the recognition she deserves!!

The longhorn steakhouse in Oswego, IL lives up to its name. The steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection, the loaded baked potatoes were great. Our waitress Ashley did an excellent job and are food was served promptly.

Came to LongHorn Steakhouse for the first time. Wanted to celebrate my birthday here. It wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. The inside felt warm and cozy. They bring out free bread and butter to start off with. But we ordered the Tonions appetizer, which we enjoyed. I decided on getting the Outlaw Ribeye with fries. As you can see in the picture, it looked and tasted great. Definitely had a great experience and will come back when we are in the area.

we arrived as a party of 4, we were seated immediately, waitress came with in a few minutes, shes asked if we had ever been there, I said I haven't she explained the menu, and extremely politely asked if we wanted to order drinks. she gave us the perfect t amount of time to decide on food choices. a few minutes past and she brought bread and butter, and just as the server was leaving our appitazer came out. (delicious by the way) my family and I conversed for about 20 minutes the waitress came back and gave an update on our food as well as bring more bread, and refilled our drinks. with in 5 minutes the ribs and burger came out and it was beautiful ❤😍👏 the food was good also ordered items I regularly wouldn't order such as shrimp and clam chowder and mac and cheese just extras, well we weren't disappointed. Great place to reunite with friends and family, also nice ambiance. will be going back soon, service is amazing, thank you for a great experience

We stopped at Longhorn for date night. The atmosphere was busy. Sometimes when you enter a restaurant and it is busy, you expect long cook times on dishes you order. In this case it was fast and cooked perfectly! Great experience and would recommend eating here!

The best Longhorn Steakhouse we have been to so far. Food always on point. Food comes out nice and hot and never disappoints. I had the Filet mignon which was so good and my fiancé had the Filet Mignon and shrimp which was really good as well. Our kids love it as well. One gets the chicken tenders and another one gets a steak. Chicken tenders are pretty darn good as well. Love their mashed potatoes an fries as well. Salad always fresh. We had Jessica as our waitress and she was phenomenal. She recommended a Margarita to my fiancé since she wanted a drink and she didn't disappoint at all. My fiancé loved her drink. She was on top of her game. Checking on us and making sure our drinks were never empty. Loved it because a waitress/waiter can make or break your experience and I am glad we had Jessica as our waitress because she was great.

I recently started attending this location due to failures at a previous location to where no matter the time or volume of customers it was utterly impossible to receive an order cooked properly. However here the staff is very attentive and the food is prepared as asked every time we’ve been there and the drinks give you bang for your buck.

Went on a Wednesday night, so restaurant was busy but not packed. Hostess greeted us nicely and led us to our table. Our server was Brittany and she was great. We stopped in shortly after 6 pm. Amazingly enough there was no wait as we were seated right away. The wait staff was friendly and took care of all our needs. We were treated to a still warm loaf of bread with a delicious butter. Our drinks were served and promptly refilled before they were empty. Our steaks were done to perfection with flavor to spare. It has always been my conviction that a steak done right should need no steak sauce and ours was indeed done right. Overall we had a great time dining here and would definitely come back for more.

My go-to place for decent steaks and ribs. I enjoy their bread and butter. Not the quality you would get from high-end steak houses, but you're not paying those exorbitant prices either. You get good food at a good price point. I have been here a few times, and their service is decent. When it's really busy their is a slight drop in service, but that is to be expected. All restaurants stress a little when they are packed, so it is reasonable to expect that the crowds overwhelm the staff. I will sure to be back.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service and flavorful food. A couple of us had the Flo's fillet with fries and broccoli. Another person in our party had "renegade sirloin steak with eight count shrimp". One thing to keep in mind is that they put a lot of sodium in everything including fries and broccoli. So not necessarily healthy but tastes very good 😊 Regarding the Flo's fillet, my advice would be to not get medium well or well done. We got medium well and it was very chewy. Another person at our table got medium and it was perfect. Good thing is that when we pointed it out, they were quick to replace it with another steak which tasted much better.

My family and I have always been Texas Roadhouse fans and I’ve never been here before. Until my girlfriend mentioned it and we went, I have to say the steak here was phenomenal especially for the price. We have been to top end restaurants in the city such as Joe’s and this steak honestly impressed us more. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken as well which we thought was great of course.

We had an exceptional dining experience, thanks to our server Felicia, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and every visit to this LongHorn in Oswego consistently exceeds our expectations.

We've been here for my birthday but today was my sons. The server was very nice, knowledgable and asking if we needed anything else. Also the place was very clean and the food like always was excellent.

First time visiting Longhorn (we’re usually patrons of Texas Roadhouse), and LET ME TELL YOU, the food was so much better here. Don’t get me wrong, I love my cheapo Texas Roadhouse, but the taste, flavor, and quality at Longhorn is just superior in every way. My father-in-law was visiting from Mexico and he was not impressed with other steakhouses. They could never cook his steak the way he wanted. As soon as he took a bite of his steak at this establishment he was blown away. So happy, less hangry, it was a win-win. Also I need to give a shoutout to our server, Seth. He was phenomenal. I love that he repeated our order to us and made sure to emphasize the level at which we wanted the steak cooked. My parents in law don’t always have the best English, which has ruined their steak at other restaurants due to not fully comprehending the temperature at which they are cooking the steak. Him repeating what they ordered and emphasizing the temp and level of pink in the steak was sooooo helpful you have no idea. He was just stellar in every facet. Service, attentiveness, personability, timeliness, but not overbearing. Give him a raise! One of the best servers I’ve ever met. We’ll definitely be back

My children and I went here to celebrate my 50th birthday and my daughter and son-in-law's wedding anniversary! This was my first time visiting this location and we had a ball! The people were so nice and there were several birthdays being celebrated while we were there that evening. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated which was nice. My son took the coolest video of the server making his drink that cracks me up because he loves doing videos like this that I would never even think about. I would definitely go again because they had the best pork chops and sweet potatoes.

I ordered 9 piece chicken tenders with Mac and cheese and steamed broccoli on the side. First of all the steamed broccoli was phenomenal with a seasoning that's just a hint that gives the broccoli a great taste. Food was good, obviously this is not a fancy restaurant but the food definitely tasted better than fast food. Service was great very friendly and professional, 5 stars to Mitch. The atmosphere was nothing special, just your average steak house. small amount of non alcoholic drink and they didn't have the ingredients to make a pina colada. It was my birthday and they gave me an ice cream with a long candle on it. Taste of the ice cream was nothing special but good.

Went here to celebrate my sons birthday! Enjoyed the Outlaw Rib-eye! Cooked to perfection! 🥩 The mushrooms and 🍤 shrimp sides we pretty good. Shrimp was real small... mushrooms 🍄 were better. We had to ask for the plates for the bread & sides. I ordered a salad and the vinegar was syrupy, very thick. It grossed me out. The waitress was nice and got me a new one. Food is always good. When not dining in, I like ordering the entrée strawberry salad swapping out the chicken with salmon. Would have given a 5 star; however, today was the second time they failed to include the pecans in the salad when this salad specifically comes with pecans (ugh). People who love pecans or walnuts in their salad, they get me LOL!! But seriously, when you spend approx. $50 for 2 salads, you kind of want everything that comes with it - am I right or am I right😜. But to be fair, the manager opted to credit me $15 towards my next order for the oversight for the two occasions. Water under the bridge.

If you're in search of a great steak, you can't go wrong here. Their steaks are of premium quality. I tried the Outlaw steak, and it was juicy, though it had a bit too much fat; however, the flavor was fantastic. On the other hand, the bread is not worth trying, and the shrimp and lobster chowder is disappointing because there's no lobster in it at all, and the shrimp tastes too fishy. However, the French onion soup is outstanding. Overall, this place has some excellent menu items as well as a few misses. But given the price and the ambiance, it's a great place to eat. I'll definitely be back!

Everything I have had from here is wonderful. I especially like the spinach dip and Parmesan Chicken. The manager Cheryl is wonderful too.

This was our first visit. The service was outstanding! Stacy was our waitress. So nice and outgoing! I didn't eat the steak but my partner said it was just ok and that he's had much better. My chicken salad was delicious and huge! It was my birthday so they gave me a Sunday and that was a nice treat! The salads were crisp and tasty. Despite how hectic the restaurant was, she stayed calm, attentive, and on top of everything — honestly, you would have thought she was the manager. My steak came out overcooked, and I was more than understanding given how busy it was. Sherry handled the situation so well, checking on us consistently and making sure we were taken care of. She was more communicative and attentive than the manager who came by to apologize, and that really stood out. Sherry truly goes above and beyond for her guests and makes sure they feel valued throughout their entire dining experience. Any establishment would be lucky to have an employee like her. We came here for a family dinner and were seated in a back booth. There happened to be a large family with screaming kids next to us but they ended up leaving about 15 minutes in so that wasn't so bad. Our server was very nice and attentive to our needs. Mainly when we asked for more bread and to go drinks. We all got steak and sides. The filet was very soft and cooked medium rare was on point. The asparagus was crunchy but flavorful and the sweet potato was delicious. Two of our party asked for medium rare and rare but ended up getting the wrong cook on their steaks but they ate it anyways as it was very busy that night. One got the wrong sides but was okay eating it as well. The manager walked around to greet everyone and ask about their meal. It's a bit pricey but good for a once in a while meal.

However, our server seemed very busy with several large parties, so we understood. The meal ended on a high note with a special birthday dessert that was absolutely delicious! Despite minor issues, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

Ok the first time I came here was opening day. The ribeye steak I ordered was awful chewy and hard. This time i have to say they may have changed their supplier. The same steak was now tender not hard not chewy. The sides were tasty, the asparagus were prepared correctly and crunchy not soggy or over cooked. They have improved since opening and that is a good thing. Be aware that wait times can be extremely long since they don't have reservation system in place. They use join the wait list, which means that once you arrive you must check in.

Since they're so new, I'm willing to try them again in a few months and update my review if I feel differently. We've been saying for years, the last big thing Oswego needs is a steakhouse. But after visiting, we were underwhelmed. My medium Renegade Sirloin was very closed to well done, whereas another member of my group ordered the same cut medium-well and it came out medium-rare. But it took a long time to get acknowledged by the wait staff and even longer for food to come out so instead of asking them to properly prepare our steaks, we switched. The bread served beforehand was mediocre, Outback's is way better. Their salad was "meh", but the fancy corn on the cob (I don't remember the name of it...) was good. The inside is much smaller than I anticipated, which contributes to the long wait. In short, the next time I was an economical steak dinner, I'd choose Outback; unless I really didn't feel like driving to the Fox Valley Mall area.

I don't know if this location was just terribly understaffed, our waitress was stuck in the weeds, or the kitchen was plain slow. When we arrived we were told the wait would be 35 minutes...it was an hour an 10 minutes. After we were seated it took 15 minutes to get drinks and another 15 before we got our salads (which came out wrong). after an hour we still hadn't been served so we had to ask for our food to go. EDIT - I raised this from one star to two stars because at least the manager did the right thing and comped our bill. However, when we got home the order was not quite right.

1st time we went it was very good. We went again 2 weeks later and it was awful. Spent more the 2nd time around and got screwed on the food as it wasn't anywhere near as good as the first. Tons a fat in my steak. Meat was more of a rare then well done like how do you mess that up? Mushrooms were nasty. Chicken wings were disgusting. And even the salad was bla. Wont go back again, when I'm spending over 140 bucks somewhere I'd like it to be at least good. It's a shame. And we tipped well both times as we ordered online so no excuses on that side of things. BS

Honestly. Steak wasn't great. It was cooked ok. But didn't have much "flavor". We can cook a much better one at home. Flavor wise. Also. Felt extremely rushed. Had all of 5 minutes to eat salad and soup. Before steak arrived. Haven't eaten at a LongHorn in awhile. Was disappointed. Roadhouse has much more flavor for the price.

Asked for medium ribeye. A little more cooked than necessary. Tough meat and bland as hell. Mashed potatoes were pretty decent. Server was great! Overall I just don't recommend these places for steak. They can't season or tenderize the meat properly. If I go again maybe I'll stick with a salad and chicken tenders🤷🏾‍♀️

Oh wow. Where do I begin? This place takes the record for the worst restaurant I have been to in... almost ever. When we were sat, the first thing I noticed was the lamp. Besides being covered in dust, it was broken and falling apart (see picture). Our server was nice. Not good, but nice. He was very, very slow, inattentive, and incredibly forgetful. I don't blame him on this, though. He was young and inexperienced, and this was obviously a lack of proper training. He was completely clueless. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered, and when he stopped to check on us afterwards, I could tell he had no sense of the amount of time passed. He genuinely asked in a cheerful voice how our food was. But then the food... my husband's steak had zero pink in it. Zero. He ordered his steak medium. He sent it back. And it took another 30 minutes for the new steak to arrive- raw. We asked for a manager (twice), and it took another 10 minutes before she came to our table. Again, she was nice. Not good, but nice. This young lady clearly had no managerial training. She was apologetic but in way over her head. I told her that I would be giving the store a 1 rating, but if she comped our check, I would increase it to a 2 for the customer service. I 100% blame the owners and management of this establishment. There is zero sense of urgency, the food was awful, and the place is (literally) falling apart.

Our waitress was wonderful and stayed on top of everything. Our appetizer was amazing, our salads were very good too but unfortunately both of our steaks were absolutely horrible. They tasted old and rotten. Other then that we enjoyed it.

Management is very poor. Management has bad attitudes every time I have visited, which is almost every weekend. I’ve made up my mind that I will be traveling to Bolingbrook for now on. I was just dealing with it because it’s close to my house, but the last straw was when I kept finding unidentified hair-like stuff in my salad.

If your looking for services that take 10 mins to bring a drink refill and a restaurant to not have what they advertise on the menu this is your place. They will probably over cook your steak and serve most of the most unappealing food you ever seen too. My brother order a drink it was wrong, co worker got a Bloody Mary and it was super spicy, my other co worker orders a coke no ice cups shows up with what looking like extra ice.

The server we had has no attentive she brought are drinks we ordered appetizer never received it she never came back my steak was not done right the manger did make a recook on the steak but are waitress never offered us and more drinks we both where empty until another server from another table was kind enough to ask if we needed another drink it was one of the worst experiences I have had in awhile very disappointing

I ordered the filet medium rare with two sides of asparagus. The “filet” came out well done and less than 1” thick. I asked the server if this truly was a filet and he said it was, sometimes it shrinks when it is over cooked. I ordered a new filet. Again, less than 1” thick and this time with less asparagus. At this point I gave up. When we asked for to-go boxes he brought us a handful of to-go boxes with some sort of white substance on the lids. Maybe ranch dressing? We asked for new lids and he rolled his eyes and seemed bothered by us. Probably won’t be going here again.

Ordered our food and drinks. French onion soup came. In the process of eating it found a "sugar packet" between the bread and cheese. It was an opened packet and with it between the bread and cheese felt it was intentional. Said something about it and they made me feel like things like that happen all the time. Idk about you but I don't enjoy eating someone's trash paper waste. They offered us a free app on our next meal, lolololol between the incident and how it was handled I don't see myself ever even coming back. Disgusting

got there, told us we have to wait 10-15 it took 30 minutes. got seated our waitress forgot the salads, didn’t get us refills. ordered the lamb, very good cooked perfect, also ordered the parmesan crusted chicken, that same night everyone who tried it got food poisoning from it, throwing up, etc. never again.

We have had a problem getting the mac and cheese without bacon at a previous visit. So, we gave this location a second chance but used the term allergy when requesting no bacon. It still came out with bacon mixed in. When we talked to the manager, it was like it wasn't a big deal. Allergy should be taken serious at a restaurant. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this location.

The manager Cheryl is horrible.We ordered 3 steaks which 2 were terrible. The waitress Rosie which was awesome asked and we told her. We never asked for a manger, never asked to get an adjustment on the bill, never asked for anything, even said we didn’t need a manager twice but she insisted. After the manager avoided us the 1st time and walked right pass us, she talked to Rosie for almost 10 mins then came to our table like she had no idea the problem. She could see 2 full steaks on the table almost untouched. We simply asked for 1 box for our appetizer. Oh that’s easy I can get you boxes. She never made eye contact! Please get her some training. She knew exactly what the problem was.The terrible steaks stayed on the table!

The way u guys make it to wait in hallway it’s ridiculous, what to do if I want to came with family of 7 I need to wait about an hour, food it’s good everything else is horrible. Will not be here again for a long time

This place is usually awesome but we had to wait forever for everything. No real waitress just everyone bringing things to our table. Just so dissatisfied with our visit today. Shouldn't take 2 hours to eat lunch. Plus the place was very dusty! Please do better lonestar!

Absolutely not. To whom this may concern… this restaurant is absolutely heinous. I came here at the time which my reservation was set for if not earlier (7pm) but ended up waiting until 8pm due to them DOUBLE BOOKING my reserved seats. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food and they messed up our orders. The food was stuffed with salt and they constantly kept bringing us refills that we never asked for in hopes to keep us distracted from the fact we wouldn’t get our food until it was nearly closing time. I truly wish I could empathize their situation due to the fact it was a holiday but this was an absolute regrettable way to celebrate the holiday. If I could give this 0 stars I absolutely would. However, I’d like to give appreciation to the staff and all their hard work trying to maintain the situation. The manager for the discount in which we deserved after tainting our food with pork (religious). I don’t see myself coming back here at all.

After a long day, my family and I decided to order dinner from Longhorn Steakhouse in Oswego, hoping for a convenient and quality meal. We spent about $130 for our family of five, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. When we got home, we discovered that some of the items were burnt and lacked the freshness you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I understand that things can happen, but when you're spending a significant amount of money, the expectation is that the food will be prepared properly and meet a certain standard. This was not the case, and we were left highly disappointed. We will not be returning to this location as we can no longer trust that our money will be spent on quality food. I hope management addresses these issues.
