First time here after a Zoning meeting. Great place with friendly staff and both indoor and outdoor seating. Tried the honey ale (excellent) and took a growler of the American pilsner for the train ride home. I'll be back !

Great people and fun atmosphere. We have been there several times. Most recently to pick up their new hard seltzer. Great place to watch a game or hang with friends. A must if you are an Islander fan.

I was in the area with friends and we stopped here for some drinks before going home. The establishment was well managed and made us really comfortable with the way they controlled the current covid situation. Now, for the drinks: we tried several and they had a great selection of beers. Wemhile I wouldn't say that there are any that we hated, I WILL say that Summer Peach was certainly a group favorite. The bartender was polite and great at handling those of use at the establishment and pickups at the same time. Space and beverages: A+, Service: A++. We definitely plan to go back.

I’ve been going to this brewery since they had the old location. The beers are amazing. Ignore all these low star ratings - the bar staff are incredibly kind and attentive (even when they are slammed). Always a go-to when I’m back in town visiting.

I hosted my boyfriends surprise 30th here last weekend. Overall the process was super easy, Heather was awesome to do deal with. The space for parties holds about 30 people, they reserve the middle area in the brewery with chairs and tables. Overall a great relaxing fun environment with games, good beer, and great service. We were able to bring our own catering, set up decorations, and bring our 100 pound boxer which really loved all the attention. A+ I would throw another event here as again Heather really was super accommodating. Thank you Oyster Bay Brewing Company staff!

Service is awesome as usual. There is always a good crowd, but not overwhelming. The beer is obviously amazing, and there is something for everyone. I wish I had an opportunity to get here more often. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Met Billy in the parking lot. He told me about the restaurant brewery and I waited at the front door for it to open at three on a Friday afternoon. Once inside I met Stephanie it’s a beautiful intimate place. Definitely check out the beer I had a step papa pale. Normally I’m a sOpper but all of a sudden the glass was empty. Hey started with the New England chowder which was so delicious and very generous with the ingredients. Next came the spicy peel and eat shrimp. Who knew you could get such fresh seafood in the mountains !?! I’d give this place six stars if I could. I’ll be back soon. thanks Billy

Oyster Bay Brewery pumps out high quality delicious beers. My favorite is the Barn Rocker especially for Islander games whether I am home watching or in the arena (before COVID). My wife and I enjoy visiting breweries and OBB is on our list to visit next time we are ON the Island. Keep rocking the barn my friends! LGI!

I ordered a couple of shirts from Oyster Bay Brewing Company not realizing that the 15% offer expired the day before. Gabe from Oyster Bay credited my account for the discount the next day. Good to see that someone still provides customer service. Love their Barnrocker!

You would never think this place existed but it does and it's pretty amazing. The location is nice, quiet and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The beer is quite a treat and there's a large enough variety that something will appeal to everyone.

Now reopened at 36 Audrey Lane, OBBC has outdone themselves with a magnificent new space in the heart of Oyster Bay. The new taproom is minimalistic for now, with a few tables set up prime for watching the big game on their two big screen TVs. But that's not why you should come here. For Nassau's North Shore, this can very easily become the neighborhood brewery, with a flood of locals always looking to grab a growler or a pint. For those looking to take the trip up Route 106, there are 24 taps (each beer is on two lines so both growlers and pints can be filled simultaneously). The staff is some of the friendliest I've met in all my beer travels. And the beer ... well, let's just say I'm looking forward to my next visit. With a wide variety of styles, any beer fan can find a new local favorite. Whether you're looking for an IPA casked with Galaxy hops (my personal favorite from the visit), a creamy oatmeal stout, or a light bodied saison, Oyster Bay Brewing has shown that they're up to the task to meet the North Shore's market.

Great beers, fun vibe, awesome service. Was really surprised when the bartender recognized me after being there only once and then gifted us with a six pack. Above and beyond will definitely be making this a spot to come regularly.

Great selection of beers. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was here on a Friday night and wasn't crowded at all. I was able to get a flight and enjoyed everything. Even their wacky beers were enjoyable.

Shout out to Heather and Kelsey for holding it down while it was busy. They went above and beyond. They were very friendly, while also keeping the order. Along with great beer, this place is a must if you love beer.

We're from the opposite corner of the country and my wife and I had to find something to do for a couple of hours while our son was visiting some other landmark in Long Island (our trip was centered around Manhattan and he begged for us to take him). My wife and I meandered around for only a few minutes and then it was like seeing the Gates of Heaven open when I saw OBBC right in front of me (we're from Portland, Oregon, a Mecca for microbrews). I really didn't expect to see a cool brewery in Oyster Bay. We sat down and had a couple of delicious IPAs while chatting with one of the cooler people in Oyster Bay, Heather. I'm wearing my OBBC hat now...advertising this cool brewery way out here in Portland, Oregon!

I’ve been there a couple times. The beer is great and the young lady tending bar is a delight. Also, if you are a home brewer the brewmaster was great to talk to. A++

What an excellent brewery - full of space and such a friendly environment. Top notch service! Try some flights to get the full experience. Bar Rocker - official beer of the Islanders - Long Island string!

Visited during a random early Friday but I really liked the overall vibe. Everyone was super friendly and I left with a bottle of their "Downstairs Funk" barrel aged sour. Seems like a great place to hang out with some friends.

Great craft beer brewed on site. Lots of options, with normally 12 plus drafts. Good place to meet up with friends have a delicious cold beer while enjoying the game. There are also arcade games on site and board games. Loads to do! If you're new to the craft beer game this is an awesome spot to begin your adventure into the world of local craft beers. You will leave loving at least one type of beer even if you aren't a normal "beer drinker".

Fun place. It gets s little crowded but they make a nice variety of beer. Local 2 Local (hazy IPA) was my favorite so far but I still have half the menu to try. Looking forward to my next visit.

We always have a great time when we go to the brewery. They always have a wide variety of beers available, and add new ones frequently, and they also have wine and wine blends! You can't go wrong with any of the beers they offer! They have a very chill atmosphere, they have a couple arcade games, a bunch of different board games, cornhole, shuffle board and even dogs are welcome! If you aren't sold yet, they also have a fantastic Groupon available that you can get beer tasting for 2 (2 flights of 5 beers), 2 brewery beer glasses and a growler for only $20! I would definitely recommend visiting!

Great beer, worth trying them all. The beers tend to be lighter, even the stout tasted like a Belgian beer.

Used the $19 groupon. Great deal! Includes 2 flights, 2 glasses and 1 unfilled growler. Very friendly staff.

Yesterday was my first experience at Oyster bay brewery and I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The beer was excellent, the atmosphere was very friendly. There were lots of games to play such as darts, a pool table, shuffle board and much more, and a young lady working behind the bar named Gianna she answered any questions we needed and provided us with great service. They don’t have much food, but allow outside food as well which is definitely a plus, I will definitely be returning!

A nice fun place to start a night, great tasting beer but some staff wasn't the best. I wish they had more seats or just a place to put drinks down at. Overall I'll go back but best time is mid-week.

I'm surprised I hadn't already reviewed Oyster Bay Brewing. I'm also glad I didn't, as I'd be updating my review right now. I went when OBB was very new -- tasting room was completely different and much smaller. Beer was not great. I went again in March 2017, and everything had changed. Large, clean, dog-friendly tasting room. Plenty of knowledgeable bartenders. Quality beers, and a lot to choose from. I am very happy to know they have made so many positive changes since they opened...of course growing pains are to be expected, and I'm glad they worked out the kinks before having to close like lots of breweries do! Will definitely go back. Will definitely inform anyone who visited them before these great strides were made that they should reconsider and try again. I think they also have a groupon -- check them out with or without it...totally worth it!!!

We were doing some touristy stuff and stopped in to check out Oyster Bay Brewing! It's similar to a lot of other smaller breweries. The server did a great job considering she was holding down the whole place by herself. They have tastings available if you wanted to sample a few before purchasing. We found a couple that we really liked. They did have a few different types of wine for non-bear drinkers too. We did have one of their hot pretzels, which I will admit was really good. I guess they're made locally and they have a special heating machine hidden behind the bar. It was something that definitely hit the spot. You can also donate & sign shells that are hung up on the wall to help restock Oyster Bay.

Friendly service, nice enough looking brewery. Didn't have the food but the pretzel looked and smelled great. Tried the sample of five beers and were pretty disappointed, they did not taste like what the description said at all: Honey Ale - no sweetness, thin. Barn Rocker - bland but most drinkable for one of us. IPA - my favorite but in a not-bad kind of way. American Lager - very bland and thin. Irish Stout - unpleasant burned coffee flavor. Why four stars? Well, people were there enjoying the beers. Maybe our palates were just a little off? I like supporting local businesses so come and judge for yourself. I, unfortunately, will not be going back.

I came here on a Friday night from the LIRR and it's close-by to the train. They let you bring in food so I came with some takeout from Bully Bar. They have a few different beers on tap and so I grabbed a flight. They also have mead on tap, which was very good. Overall a cool place to visit.

Great beers and very cool helpful staff. Only real gripe is that children were running wild (like throwing corn-hole bags at the heads of patrons, peeing all over the bathroom floor, and climbing on virtually everything wild). Staff did their best to mediate, but it's a bit much for a Friday evening. Perhaps designated hours for children might be better, as this is indeed a brewery and not a trampoline park.

An authentic, local microbrewery. Decent beer, but too many choices. Seasonal is usually a safe pick. Not very comfortable for sitting. A surprising amount of millennial moms with babies in strollers, as well as dogs. So, dog-friendly, I guess. A little dirty and noisy.

K

3 stars is high!!! But while beer selection was limited - new master brewer starting- the beer is good. The staff is friendly and for the most part helpful. Facilities not so great. With a nice location and good space...they don't know what they want to be. Could really be something....but it is more of a mess then an experience. Not sure if i will go back with so msny other breweries on long island. Shame since they are positioned to do something. Just not worth the visit. Just buy the beer

An ok brewery in the area. Beer selection was decent. Space was pretty big with games to play and enough space to find seating. Service was not great. Also, the QR code for the food does not mention that the food place is closed on Mondays. Put in an order and had no idea it was closed until I went to ask and the guy said oh yeah, it’s closed on Monday, we probably won’t get you that back. I think they should at least have some kind of signage when you open the QR code or around the seating area to warn you that it’s closed Mondays. Had to dispute it on my credit card. Plenty of parking in the back.

Beer was pretty good, and there were a lot of games to play to entertain you. The biggest problem was that the employee working while we were there never got off her phone the entire time. She would put it down to poor a beer but then immediately pick it back up and never check on any of the customers in the establishment.

S

It used to be a lot better. The quality of the beer we had was just ok but it wasn't very cold. Maybe some people wouldn't mind that but I prefer cold beer. They put in a pool table which adds a fun element. We went on a weeknight so there weren't many people there. Would give it another chance on a weekend.

Went here Friday night for the sole purpose to watch the Islanders game. I saw on social media that they had a partnership with the Islanders and their barn rocker beer, so figured it would be a good place to chill with some fellow fans. It wasn't. Place was empty, game was put on at our request but no sound. Very bright lights and the distinct smell of dog inside the brewery. Bartenders were friendly but were more interested in gossiping amongst themselves then interacting with the customers. Beer was ok, no food. Would not return

M
Michael Leto

Very disappointed with this brewery considering the amount of good reviews. Beer was very generic. A few in the flight tasted the same. The groupon we got did not specify that we couldn't choose what beers go in the flight and the growler we got was empty. Also, there were a ton of gnats flying around and on the walls. The atmosphere was cool and not too crowded though.

I've been a few times but the beer never blows me away. It doesn't even leave me wanting a 2nd one. I tried the hazy IPA and it tasted like liquefied air freshener. A strong, delightful fruit-forward flavor with an unfortunate verrry strong pine aftertaste that made it resemblant of a carbonated tea that soaked up a pine tree air freshener.

There’s a sign that says wait to be seated. I stand at the entrance waiting for 10 minutes. An employee finally comes up to me but with no “Hello, welcome, let me seat you or you can seat yourself.” Instead she says tells me to move my arm so she can get a newspaper for one of the other customers. I never felt so unwelcome in my whole life at any establishment. Maybe it’s because I’m not white because people who came after me were served just fine. Would not recommend if you’re not Caucasian. Stay away if you don’t want to be disrespected.

M
Martin McNulty

It was fine. I'm from out of town and it seemed like a true local spot. The staff were efficient and professional. In all honesty, I don't think I'm the target demographic. Totally has a strong local following, just wasn't for me.

F

Absolutely horrible experience. The bartenders are the most miserable, unfriendly and rude people I have ever encountered at an establishment. Specifically the brunette women. The beer is average at best, there are much better brewery’s to go to on Long Island, with a much more welcoming atmospheres. I will never go back here or support this brewery again.

J
J N

Bartender was extremely rude. It was me and my boyfriend at the bar and another man. I was maybe like 4 or 5 ft away from him looking at the menu and the lady helping him told me to stay 6 ft away from the customer. I was a bit away already but sure I understand the rules. No problem. I apologized and took 1 step to the left. When she turned to serve us she still sounded like she had an attitude so I just bought 1 drink instead of a flight like intended. Keep in mind the bar is pretty long. As she rings us up 2 guys come to the bar and are ALOT closer to me than I was to the previous customer. About 1 body space away from me. And she said NOTHING to them at all. She definitely saw because she was standing in front of us taking our money but kept quiet. The beer wasn't that good for me to return and I've definitely told all my friends and coworkers to avoid this place. We took 3 sips and left the bar after 5minutes

Honestly, the worst experience I have had in Long Island. The person behind the bar started off by singling out who in the group needs to take out their license to be carded. Quite offensive, my friend was singled out as the only one that did not need to be carded out of the group. We are all within the same age group. Then, we got the beers. I did a Groupon for a flight and the beers were all not good. This was disappointing in itself to try to swallow this beer. The stout, the porter, the “Berliner”, the summer peach, the honey ale. Did not taste good at all! Then came the pizza. We got two pizzas, a pepperoni and Buffalo chicken. The pepperoni was tolerable to eat but honestly a frozen Celeste pizza would’ve been better. Definitely not New York pizza or anything remotely close. The picture attached is of the Buffalo chicken pizza. Charred so bad. I guess the bartender got distracted by the only two other people in the entire business and forgot about the pizza. Instead of offering to make another one, the bartender cut it, struggling to get thru how burnt the pizza was, and handed it to my friend. All together, one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a brewery. Needless to say, even if you have a Groupon or discount, it’s not worth it!!! Please steer clear of this disappointment! 🥺😭

Please steer clear of this disappointment! 🥺😭

Arrived at 5pm on Memorial Day and immediately was told “We’re closing at 6!” Hello to you, too! Then the same nasty bartenderess charges me $24 for 2 beers (Summer and Honey). I gasped. Later the man near us walked out and said “thanks for buying me my Honey Wine”. We were like “Huh????” He said the bartenderess said “oh the two girls near you paid for yours” when he tried to pay!

Never been so embarrassed. Brought in friends from out of town because they love trying new beers. We were greeted with a “oh that’s a lot of people are you one group?”. In just such a unwelcoming tone. Guess the two people in there plus our group of 10 was just going to be too much for her…. Topped off by not having Ice, not having or being out of multiple things that are on the drink menu on a Friday afternoon I find it hard to believe….glad we left and found a friendlier and better equipped place. Maybe that’s what she was looking for us to do. Just such a disappointment.
