WOW! What an experience from the very second we walked in. First, ambiance is a given in this place. Gorgeous fountain, lights and greenery, *misters*. Need I say more? Second, service was EXCELLENT! I say that having many years of experience in fine dining myself and being trained in various table side services. The hostess was polite, pleasant, and quick as a whip. She took pictures for people and was happy to do so — she didn’t forget to acknowledge new guests even while assisting others. Our server AND his support were also terrific. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. The food was also delicious and FAST! (We went on a Friday at 7:30.) We had the potstickers, a ceasar salad, the short ribs special, and the schnitzel, plus a few cocktails. In the end, our bill was ~$150. If more restaurants gave experiences like this, we’d go out for dinner a lot more often. Thank you so much for making this a wonderful first night in Palms Springs.

Group of 7. Everyone enjoyed their food. Gluten free questions and requested were handled graciously. Multiple gluten free options. The duck was amazing as were the apps and beverage options.

Food is great; however, Lonnie made the evening with my wife exceptional! His timing, recommendations, and kindness was above and beyond any 5 star restaurant.

Menu is not typical but the food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the Branzino. There is a larger capacity on the patio than inside. We sat indoors thinking it would be cooler since we visited in July during a record heat wave. However, to our disappointment the restaurant does not have air conditioning.

The food was amazing and the staff were professional and accessible. The food was some of, if not the, best I have had in Palm Springs.

Highly Recommend for 2nd dates, family anniversaries, and travelers looking for history and an excellent meal. Reservations recommended for optimal seating during high heat conditions. Wait staff is excellent. Pleasingly plated with all cold food arriving chilled despite the heat. We were perfectly placed to receive the best benefit from A/C and cool breezes. My guests enjoyed the historic establishment and the artistically plated vegetarian selections.

Omg I live this place! Had the shrimp which was out of this world!! Love the location. Wasn’t super excited about eating outside but the service and the weather were both wonderful!

We were looking for something new, creative, and cool, and after a wonderful evening at Copley’s, we wouldn’t change a single thing: duck and asparagus salad, a fish I’ve never tried—Barramundi—which was moist, thick, just the right crunch in the braise and loads of flavor—right up there with black cod! And the short ribs were perfect. Chad, our server, was like an ambassador, transporting you to a new place and experience with his enthusiasm and even artistic expression of the menu options. Finished with the best bread pudding I’ve had. We made reservations for later this week!

AMAZING RESTAURANT!! Must-see, must-go! If you’re in Palm Springs, Copleys will take care of you and your party. Copleys will WELCOME you to Palm Springs. The food is delicious, the service is admirable, and I truly appreciate the care we received during our visit. It’s been a memorable experience and I will never forget the taste of their delicious food! You have to come to Copleys if you’re in Palm Springs!

We had dinner here last night, our last evening in PS. It was recommended to us by Chris, the owner of the art gallery, Cicada (wonderfully curated gallery btw). He was spot on. This place is beautiful. It has a great ambience and the food was some of the best we had on the entire trip. I’ve been vegetarian for 15 years and their tofu dish was outstanding. It was prepared in a similar fashion to the tuna special- which my husband got and he said that was delicious as well. Good cocktails and wine list. Grace was our waitress and she was attentive, friendly and made great recommendations. The other team members were all professional and friendly. The hostess came by to check on us multiple times. It was a wonderful experience. I’d definitely make sure we snag a reservation here the next time we come!

The ambiance was lovely, the food was very good, and the service was outstanding. My only complaint about the food is that one of my sides was served cold, which wasn't very clear on the menu nor explained by the server. The pace between each dish was spot on. We'd definitely revisit next time in the area.

Outstanding! The food was wonderful, nice ambience & our server, Grace did a fantastic job! The melon and Burrata starter was a favorite along with the Branzino fish, Ahi Tuna and Charred Beef filet for entrees. The recommended Pinot Noir wine, Alexana was a hit. Overall nice evening, flavorful food and good service! Definitely recommend!

Our dinner at Copley’s in Palm Springs was one of the highlights of our trip. Our server DK was so kind and attentive. DK gave us several local recommendations. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was even better. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Palm Springs!

Really outstanding menu - hard to chose what to order! Our server helped make recommendations and was very professional. We started with Hot blooded cooler and the pomegranate elite martini, both tasty and strong. The chef’s bread and butter was a delicious sweet and savory corn bread selection. The beef “welly” was a perfectly cooked deconstructed beef Wellington. The pastry was flaky, potatoes nicely done and the beef was so tender. The ahi tuna was flavorful and the sauce was outstanding. The Orange crème brûlée was an excellent desert.

Best meal we’ve had on the West Coast was not in the large apocalyptic city of LA but was in the desert at Copley’s. Lovely, attentive staff. Dog friendly. The caesar (with breaded pineapple!), dumplings, schnitzel, and barramundi all delicious. Drinks super as well. Dessert put me over but perfect nontheless. Cant wait to go back!

You have to go here if you are in Palm Springs. One of the best places if not the best. The Chef creates just amazing dishes, we always find more than 4 things we want to have. Plus you get to sit under the stars!

We came for a birthday weekend celebration. Without knowing too much I picked this place. Best choice in a long while! Food is delicious, service is fantastic. From the hostess bartender and waiters, everyone makes sure you are taken care of. We had the specials; drinks and entrees. Beautifully displayed, perfect timing between courses. Could not have asked for a better experience for my birthday.

What an incredible experience! From the perfect cocktails, to the perfect soups and salads, to the perfect entrées. Everything was absolutely incredible, delicious, special, and it was all round it off with absolutely superb service. Scott was our waiter and he was amazing. He gave great recommendations, he swooped in when we weren’t looking and cleared dishes out of our way, he made wonderful suggestions, he was personable, he was exceptional. We are from out of town but the next time we come back to Palm Springs, we will definitely be visiting Copeley‘s because of the incredible food and wonderful service!

We had the LOVELIEST dinner for two tonight! We went to Copley's early in the evening, 6pm-ish, hoping for a couple seats anywhere they could squeeze us in. We were offered a perfect cafe table at a banquet with a view of their quaint bar. The bar is the perfect size, enough to fit regulars and newbies, but not too big to become crowded. The service was EXCELLENT! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We shared a few dishes, and our server coursed it out and checked on us frequently. Every. Single. Dish was WONDERFUL! We had ahi tacos to start, shared the beet salad, and finished with lemongrass pot stickers. Flavor profiles expanding and evolving with each course delivery. The Kentucky Manhattan was evenly balanced and strong enough to make Frank Sinatra proud. Make a r section or try your luck early on a Monday night, and you just might be able to experience such a unique and extraordinary dining experience.

Beautiful place, delicious food fun staff! Came for a business meeting did not disappoint. Drink was refreshing, wine was great even for a non wine drinker. Appetizers were all seasonal fresh, main was tender and juicy and dessert was a lovely light end to our meal!

My friends and I were in town for the Palm Springs film festival and came here for a celebratory dinner and had such a good time. Our server, Loni, (not lion haha) was so attentive and helpful and even brought us dessert on the house. I had the salmon which was delicious and my friends loved their choices as well. (Sesame crusted tofu, tuna tacos and beet salad). Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant!

The quintessential white tablecloth restaurant. Overall, the food was excellent. I wouldn't say anything was incredible, but it was what I expected. The outdoor seating area is really nice. Service was attentive. Parking in the restaurant's lot can be difficult at peak times.

Wonderful place. The food is really really good. No matter what you choose it will be great. It's a great spot for a date night. And they got a good no-alcohol beer. I don't drink, but if you do they have other really good mixed drinks, my wife got one.

Making Memories With Food - Chef Andrew Copley makes it easy to make memories whether you eat at his eponymous-named restaurant or attend his weekly Thursday online cooking class (YourDirtyApron.com). So far we have attended twenty-two (22) cooking classes and made some amazing dishes. Several dishes we have made multiple times to share with family and friends. A couple of weeks ago we had a wonderful outdoor dinner at the restaurant for our anniversary. It was nice having someone else cook for a change. Copley’s outdoor dining area is ginormous, well lit, and very romantic. The food was spectacular and the service first-rate. Helpful Hint: If you live near Palm Springs you can sign up for the online cooking class and pick up the ingredients on the Wednesday before the Thursday class. If you join the “Your Dirty Apron” club you can get a discount on the class. I highly recommend Copley’s either in-house or at-home.

You can practically Imagine Cary Grant at the table next to you in this stunning fine dining establishment. Set in Cary Grants old estate in Northern Palm Springs, you are immediately transported to an exquisitely presented meal with an attentive server who s job it is to make sure you know all the options before choosing. DK was our server and his presence made the meal so much better. He explained all the details making each dish sound like a mouthwatering journey. I had the CHARRED PORK CHOP and lemongrass potstickers Caesar Salad and Crème Brûlée. The Asian spiced BARRAMUNDI was light and flavorful with a wasabi ginger soy butter. We call this VACATION DINNER.

Copley’s is a must for dinner when visiting Palm Springs. The small arched entrance welcomes guests into the outdoor dining area which is beautifully set up in several different sections with unique nuances to enjoy in each: the upper patio has views of the entire space and the tips of the palms that line the downtown street; the fire pit area offers a cozy ambience; under the shade of a canopy trees LED lights sparkle; a lit up pergola at the front seems a great spot for intimate small group dining. Indoors offers coverage from the elements and architecture worthy of a look. The outdoor space would be my choice for future visits, and I wouldn’t worry about it being cold as they have many well positioned heaters they can turn on to keep guests warm - there’s also a thoughtful basket of blankets available if diners need additional warming. Our server Grace was a delightful, true professional who shared the specials that night with enthusiasm and expertise making every dish sound compelling. We enjoyed our wine/cocktails and everyone was attentive and aware of any empty glasses. Three of us ordered the Maui Onion Soup which was a special and was a delicious take on French Onion; the other diner at our table had the chicken potstickers and they were a delicious explosion of well balanced flavours and textures. Two of us had the smoked duck salad with asparagus as our main which was a great choice to go with the soup - an appropriate portion and tasty dish. The barramundi and scallops were also delicious. For dessert the sticky toffee pudding was the standout favourite of the table but we also enjoyed a chocolate creme brûlée special from Chef Andrew. As the sun set, the moon and twinkling stars only added to the ambiance. While I wouldn’t call Copley’s traditional fine dining, the food and service are up to that level, served up in an environment teeming in charmed elegance and a friendliness that makes you feel like a regular. Most people dressed for dinner but more casual diners were welcomed as this gem doesn’t put on airs of pretension - all are seated with a smile. There are other ‘iconic’ restos people recommend when visiting Palm Springs that are fine, but Copley’s hits the bullseye for a delicious menu and flawless service. High value experience that left a lasting impression.

Loved it, my parents…not so much. I can attest they are more high maintenance than I am when it comes to gastronomie. When you come here you are really going for the patio and outdoor dining. It’s decent but it def should be refreshed. The inside is small and the bar is even tinier. I loved the food though. It’s traditional style with some subtle Asian hints here and there. For the most part most entrees were seafood but they do have a few beef dishes but no pork. Overall it was great but the soufflé/chocolate lava cake took the show. Excellent finish.

I am so happy I finally got to try Copley’s! The staff makes you feel so welcome. We had DK as our server and he was fantastic. From the cocktails to the dessert, everything was delicious. The chicken schnitzel and the short rib special were some of the best meals I’ve had in Palm Springs!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Copley's. Our waiter was very fun and informative. The salad we had was divine. My wife's steak was overcooked hence the four stars. But seriously, the salted caramel ice cream at the end could have earned five stars all by itself.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Swanky unique setting within courtyard of former celebrity mansion. Seated promptly on gorgeous spring evening. Service was present, friendly, accurate and efficient. We weren't in need of anything. Plenty of staff. Menu had lots of interesting items for all tastes. Very photogenic and smelled edible too. My pork porterhouse was outstanding in taste and value. All staff engaged and even manager touched our table. Well done...will be back.

Friends recommended this place to us. We owe them a debt of gratitude. We made reservations which is advised and we're promptly seated inside as requested. (Most prefer outdoors for the ambiance, but its February)! I often use a quick cheat to see if the waiter is on my side or just pushing what the boss tells them to. I ask for a wine recommendation. If they immediately point to the most expensive wine, I know they are pushing for a higher bill rather than my satisfaction. When I asked my waiter what he would recommend with my lamb, he did point to one of the higher priced glasses, then tannoff to find out they were out of it. His next recommendation was mid priced and on point for the meal I had selected. I ordered the lamb t-bone my wife had barramundi. They were both fantastic. The only down side of the meal was the mistake they made on their dessert. We ordered the chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream. If they had stopped there, I would have no complaints. If they had finished with a toasted marshmallow on top as the menu suggested, it would have likely made a great memory. Unfortunately, the toasted marshmallow was actually a small pile of mini marshmallows, quickly burned with a torch. Most of the marshmallows were untouched by heat. Those that had been torched tasted of a combination of butane and charcoal. We pushed the marshmallows to the side and really enjoyed the rest. My concern is that a restaurant playing at this level allowed that to leave the kitchen. Overall, still a solid 5 star review.

Most of the food was terrific. Just one issue with the crispy fish that wasn’t crispy. Cocktails were great, service was great, atmosphere is hard to beat. Palm Springs cool vibe.

Copley's was a magical experience except for a few minor hiccups. The history behind being Cary Grant's estate provides a lot of nostalgia and the grounds are beautiful. The food was fantastic and the server and hostess were both hospitable. Charging $8 for rolls and cornbread seemed unnecessary when most restaurants would provide this as a courtesy before ordering your 4‐5 star meal. The corn bread was however fantastic and one of the best I've ever had. The menu was inventive and well executed. The inside temperature was uncomfortable and they provided fans for some tables. It was a 115 degree day and the building is old so I do understand. Overall take away is great experience and impressive culinary experience!

Dinner was delicious, and the wait staff was great. It was such a beautiful night, perfect for sitting outside. Appetizer: Crispy Empanada Salad: Organic Mixed Lettuce & Blue Cheese Salad. Everything was so perfect. We were there on the evening of Dec. 15th and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. To start, the atmosphere is very beautiful. The courtyard was lit with bistro lights, had a fountain and Christmas decor and had heating towers because it was a chilly night. We were seated outdoor next to a fireplace and waited on by our amazing waiter, DK. His customer service was excellent and his recommendations were on point. He even offered us blankets in case it became too cold. I had the salmon with a pomegranate sauce (which I need the recipe for) because it was to die for. My husband got the seasonal special which was also very delicious. Overall the service, atmosphere and food were all great. Definitely recommend for a date night.

High quality food with above and beyond service. It was my mom’s birthday and her meal wasn’t exactly up to par for the price tag. We both ordered the seafood fettuccine but for some reason mine was saucy and delicious but hers had less flavor and tough calamari. We informed our waitress and she apologized and recommended the ahi tuna since it would come out the fastest. It wasn’t even on the menu, which was very thoughtful. My mom loved the tuna and the night was saved! We all got different martinis and they all were spot on. The staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was intimate despite being quite a large place.

Experience Copley’s magical dining experience. We dined Valentines evening. The atmosphere is glittering as the sun goes down. The waitstaff greeted us w/ smiles and expertise as they navigated the timing of starter, ( beet salad and potstickers) our entrees ( short ribs& lobster and the pork chops ) as well as the dessert ( chocolate cake w/ cherry sauce). One was not served until we completed what was in front of us. Our water was refreshed often and plates cleared as we finished. It was a limited menu due to holiday but we feel as if they chose the best of the best offerings of their menu. Our waiter Ray suggested a few dishes and he did not steer us wrong. It truly was a magical evening. Thank you♥️

The best restaurant steak I've had in a while. My wife and I took a trip to Joshua Tree and wanted to stop by a nice place for a date night on the way back home, and my wife chose Copley's. First thing I noticed is how welcoming the hostess was. She asked if we had a reservation, we said no, and she said no worries at all. Always nice when you don't need a reservation, and they're nice about it! The outside seating is very pretty with tons of fireplaces. We asked to sit outside. The menu was a good size, not too much but a good amount of options. I didn't have the chance to look at the drink menu. Prices were not as expensive as I expected, with the most expensive entree being the prime steak at $60. Definitely expensive, but could be much worse. Our waiter, who I believe his name was Chad was AWESOME! He was very nice and incredibly attentive. He gave us a thorough rundown on items we had questions for and suggestions for our needs. He easily made the experience much better. This was a breath of fresh air compared to other restaurants like this where the waiters either ask a bunch of questions or they have snooty behavior. My wife wasn't very hungry, so she just ordered the bread and butter for herself from the starters section. I ordered the prime New York steak. It took a while for the food to come out, but that isn't always an issue for me as long as the food is fresh and taste fresh. 30 minutes later our food comes. Our waiter is very apologetic about the wait time, no problem at all! The steak looked amazing, the photo does not do it justice. It came with caramelized onions on top of the steak. The steak sat on a bed on asparagus and carrots. And it came with a side of fries. A good amount of food for sure. I was shocked by the size of the steak. It was huge! Our waiter told us it was 10 oz. The $60 actually felt justified. I asked for a medium, our waiter said their medium has a little pink, I said that's fine and it turned out amazing. My wife's bread and butter was also very good. Soft and tasty butter on hot bread. Definitely enough for two. We did ask for the desert menu. It was on the pricey side but that's expected. I can't remember all that was on the menu but there was a decent amount of options. We went with the chocolate cake that came with salted caramel ice cream and a toasted marshmallow on top of the cake. I'm not a sweet person, so my wife and I split it but when it arrived it wasn't as sweet as I expected. The cake was VERY good. It was rich but to, sweet but not to sweet. The ice cream was very good, also not to sweet and it mixed very well with the cake. I was very impressed. The check came and we saw that Chad had taken the desert off our tab, which was very nice of him but especially because it was my birthday that day, but we never told him! Pure coincidence. I would highly recommend this establishment for a romantic date night and a first date. The environment is very cozy with all the fireplaces and will definitely get you to conversate The service outside of our waiter was very good. The food was incredible. 10/10 fancy dinner, I will be returning when I am in palm springs next.

This is now my favorite restaurant in palm springs. The food is amazing and our server, Chad, was knowledgeable, friendly and gave us fabulous service. I like eating in the inside as it is very cozy and welcoming. I cannot say enough about the food and the Cocktails too. This is really a first rate and very lovely dining establishment. It has a gorgeous patio, but I still prefer the inside. If you like eating outside, though, you will be very pleased. I can’t say enough about this place.

What a great way to celebrate New Year's Eve. Copley's curated a special menu to celebrate the New Year's celebration. They created a menu with 6 starters and 7 Entrée with a Chef's Tiramisu. Our waiter Ray was very welcoming and attentive. The inside seating has a warm comfort feel. The tables were decorated with New Year's festivities and we had a New Year's hat and a tiara waiting for us to wear for an added fun of celebration. I was able to enjoy the Truffle Lobster & Sweet Corn Risotto and Charred Beef Filet & Lobster Tail with their Quicksand cocktail. Very delicious and flavorful. Risotto was tame starter but freshly made with delicious ingredients. The beef was prepared medium well and lobster was done perfectly with a scoop of a potato/lobster salad. Very fresh. My partner had the Seared Diver Scallops and Braised Prine Beef Shoert Ribs. All very delicious and flavorful. Scallops were well prepared. The Beef was very tender that it fell off the bone. So delicious. The cherry on top, pun intended, the Chef's Tiramisu was sweet and fresh. The chocolate was very good. A great way to end the meal. Cocktails and drinks were tasty and mixed well. Perfect balance to the food. Thank you to the staff for such a great experience. A zenful and unforgettable meal to end the year.

My wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Copley’s in late September, and we cannot recommend them enough! The staff was absolutely wonderful and took amazing care of our group of 32. Shannon, the General Manager, was fantastic throughout the entire process. She was on top of everything from timing and menu coordination to last-minute changes with our group. The food and drinks were incredible, and the atmosphere made the evening even more special. We couldn’t have had a better experience and can’t wait to go back!

Lovely experience. There is a charming entrance which nicely sets the tone for the dining experience. We choose to eat inside as we were there off-season and it was still a bit warm out. The wait staff was attentive and the manager stopped at the table to say "hello". The picture doesn't do the salmon meal justice as my companion had already taken a bite. We split the meal and it was delicious. Although the bread was $10 for three pieces, I ordered it anyway. It was fine but not anything special. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Our first visit to Copley’s was a pleasant surprise. We sat outside in January surrounded by heaters, plants and people. I did wish I had dressed a little warmer. Our server was efficient, helpful and even a little fun. The food was fantastic. Imagine my gluten-free delight when the Caesar Salad came with croutons made out of pineapple (« traces of tropical »). As the former home of Cary Grant, the inside is filled with different nooks and crannies. Overall a very special evening.

Copley's perfectly balances an inviting atmosphere, luxuriously delicious food, and top-notch customer service. We've been about a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Tonight we celebrated a late Valentine's. We started with cocktails--I had the Quicksand, which I expected to be somewhat similar to a pina colada but which turned out to be so much more complex and absolutely delicious. It was sweet and fruity, but not overly so, and the freshly grated nutmeg on top was a nice finishing touch that I could taste in every sip. My starter was the salmon poke and sweet bay shrimp. The serving size was quite generous for a starter, and every part of it was excellent on its own, even better when combined. I loved the combination of flavors and textures. I followed with the mixed beet salad. I love beets anyway, but there are so many nuances to this salad. The roasted grapes and bruleed goat cheese take a back seat in the description, but they were my favorite parts of the dish--and don't get me wrong, I loved the pear and beets! For my entree, I had the chef's special, grouper served with mashed potatoes, green beans, tiger shrimp, and a delicious buerre blanc. The fish portion was generous and quite tasty. The baby greens served on top added a nice freshness, and the buerre blanc brought everything together beautifully. It was my first time trying grouper, but it won't be my last. It was delightful both in taste and texture. I finished with the toffee and date sticky pudding. It's my favorite dessert here, though the basil ice cream is hard to resist. I love the pudding itself, as it's warm and sweet but not overly so. But I think it might be the fresh caramel drizzled over the plate that brings the vanilla ice cream and toffee pudding together and sends the whole dessert to the next level. It is worth every calorie to indulge in this dessert. On top of the amazing food, our waiter Carlos, was wonderful. He was kindly attentive without being intrusive. The staff overall was excellent. Our waters were kept full, our table cleared, our food served in a timely manner without making us feel rushed. It was just a lovely atmosphere for a lovely dinner.

We had a great experience at copleys. We each had the corn chowder soup to start and my wife had the Lamb and I had the short rib special which came with lobster mashed potatoes. The Lamb was flavored perfectly and was amazing. The short rib was great and you didn't even need a knife it just melted apart with a fork. The lobster mashed potatoes were very good and something different then I've had before. Their cocktail's were great as well as their crembrule. It was a little cooler outside so we sat inside and it was a very neat place to be inside or out. Our server DK was great and very attentive.

This was a special treat for our trip. The food was very good, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was lovely. While there wasn't much in the menu for vegetarians/vegans, they did have a few options. While neither of them sounded appealing to me, our waitress ensured me that the Seared Sesame Tofu was really delicious. She was correct, though I just don't care for the mushy texture of tofu, even when it's slightly crispy on the outside. Nonetheless, the flavor was very good. My wife had a seafood special of Seared Ahi Tuna which she absolutely loved. Our waitress was very helpful and courteous. I wish there was a restaurant even somewhat comparable out in Pahrump, but we have to go elsewhere in order to find any exceptional dining options.

Great ambience sitting outside on the terrace next to the fountain. Fast, attentive service, backed by an excellent wine list and outstanding menu. Starters, bread n butter, then my wife had delicious Sesame coated crunchy tofu, while I ordered the New York steak served with Asparagus, jus, and a salad. Both meals were well presented, delicious, and totally enjoyed. Copley's is a credit to their. team and shows what hard work and dedication provide. Five Stars from us.

Was expecting so much more for the prices. The corn soup was delicious, but the main courses were nothing special. The shrimp pasta had no flavor or character, the steak which we ordered medium rare was way undercooked, and then when we pointed it out, the staff seemed to take the attitude that we didn't know what medium rare is. The atmosphere is beautiful, service was so-so. Definitely no desire to go back with so many better choices in Palm Springs. Just seemed like the chefs were not top notch at what they do.

I wanted to love this place but it missed the mark for me. Service is excellent. Food is very bland and I felt like nothing was seasoned. I got the ribeye steak med rare and it was closer to med well which is unacceptable for a 50+ dollar dish. The ribeye was just slapped on the grill with no seasoning and covered in grilled onions and random micro greens that also were also not seasoned. My friends filet was boring as well and also topped with an overwhelming amount of micro greens. Can we lay off the micro greens on every dish? We also got the bread and burrata as appetizers and both were small and underwhelming. The burrata felt like all ingredients I could get at the grocery store and nothing was really super fresh. The tomatoes were cheap grape tomatoes and the melon was flavorless. Basically if you like boring, under seasoned food topped with micro greens this is the place for you.

It was a lovely atmosphere. A bit chilly at night. They have heaters all over. The service was outstanding. The duck was under was the only negative thing. Drink was amazing

Not many vegetarian options and what I did order was bland and greasy. Dessert was divine though. We also arrived at 730 to a packed restaurant and think we got lost in the mix. It took 45 mins for drinks and bread and you could see our server was just too in the thick of it. So much so that my husband and I didn’t even get a candle or anything for our anniversary celebrations. For the price and the high end value they are mean to deliver… we were left wanting more.

The food is wonderful but not fussy or precious. The burrata with couscous is divine and the sliders are yummy. But the figgy pudding is to do for. The atmosphere and outside courtyard is spectacular. A little gem in uptown Palm Springs. The food was really unpretentious and delicious and the service was prompt and very friendly. We loved sitting in this beautiful courtyard that used to belong to Cart Grant!

I've been vacationing in Palm Springs for more than ten years, but had never dined at Copley's, although it had been on my "list." I finally went in January of this year and was not disappointed with the food, which was outstanding. The ahi tuna entree was seared to perfection. Unfortunately, the service was not what it should have been considering the price of dinner. Once we were seated, we sat....and we sat...and we sat...until a bus person came to pour our water. I asked for a black napkin (I was wearing black pants). After asking four times, one finally appeared. The waiter came to our table after about eight minutes (way too long to wait to greet his guests) and appeared to be very rushed, especially in his presentation of the night's specials. We ordered a round of mandarin orange & tequila martinis, which, when they finally arrived, were warm. My glass was half-full, and my friends' glasses, although relatively full, were soaking wet with liquor. I took one sip of the drink, and exchanged it for a glass of wine. The poor service was not the fault of the waiter (Victor), whom was exceedingly professional and experienced, but rather that of the host, as our waiter had a 10-top to serve on the outside patio, a six-top adjacent to our table, and either one or two other large parties on the other end of the restaurant. Physically, it's just not possible to serve this many tables, this far apart. I understand "good help is hard to find" (any help is hard to find), but when going out to dine at a restaurant with the reputation that Copley's has, the service, as well as the food, must exceed one's expectations. Please note: I gave the restaurant a "4." (Service: 3 and food: 5.)

This was a lovely place and I'm glad we went. Me, and my 2 daughters were all celebrating our Septemeber birthdays. The one negative is I don't think they believed us bc they only gave one of us a dessert. But we had a nice time and would probably go back

It was a different experience for myself and others in my party. Mostly due to the specific menu that happened to be in place because of *Restaurant Week. This menu isn't their regular/normal menu, so there aren't many a la carte options during this time. (More of a table d'hôte menu, where abe fixed-price meal with a limited number of courses is offered.) *Restaurant Week is where the restaurants in the area have a special menu and roughly 20% of proceeds from that week go to a local charity

We had a nice dinner at Copleys. I guess it's everything you expect it to be, beautiful scenery, nice staff and good food. Maybe I'm just super picky but the food was not amazing, it was good. The short rib empanada appetizer was good, but for $19, wasn't fabulous for the price for one empanda to be honest. The braised short ribs were really good, my only complaint was the potatoes weren't that hot, just luke warm. The chicken schnitzel just has too much local competition. Almost every restaurant in PS has their version of chicken schnitzel and Copleys is ok. There's much better in town. These felt a bit greasy and I wasn't a fan of the sweetness of the sauce, cranberries and again, the sides weren't that hot, more luke warm. All in all, ypu come here for the experience and the atmosphere and again, 4 star food isn't bad, it just isn't something I'll dream about or crave unfortunately, especially for the price.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Certain dishes are small, if you share, you might end up eating one bite each and it's gone. If you are a coffee connoisseur, avoid it. Sticky pudding was good, souffle ( lava cake) nothing that I haven't tasted before, avoid.

1st time at Copleys for New Years Eve. We planned on dining outdoors, but with weather the restaurant called and informed us that they could not rebook us indoors, but they added a marquee over sections of outdoor dining area. Unfortunately, as restaurant had clay roof tiles with no gutters, the rain rolled off the roof landing on concrete as there was a gap between roof and marquee. My entire right side, feet and shoes were soaking wet so it made dining experience a soggy one. I barely remember the meal, and requested the desert in a box to take home. The indoor dining room looked lovely so we will definitely give Copleys a try again.

This is an amazing restaurant in downtown Palm Springs with an interesting history- it used to be Cary Grant’s guest house! It has a beautiful courtyard with fire pits and views of the mountains to the west. We went to this restaurant dinner on Valentine’s Day. They had a holiday prix fixe menu with many delicious choices, including vegetarian options. We had the lobster/crab/shrimp salad with guacamole and chips, and the Ahi tacos for appetizers. For our main course, we had the Salmon and Barramundi entrees, which were both excellent! The food was beautifully presented. The service was good, but not great. Our waiter was busy and somewhat distracted, so he didn't check on us very often. I gave it a 4 star rating for that reason. (also, i thought my pre-dinner mixed drink was a little weak- for those prices, I would have expected better) For dessert, we had a flourless dark chocolate heart shaped cake with berry coulis and vanilla ice cream. Very yummy! We sat by a fire pit, which was really nice as the evening got cooler. Prices here are a little high, but it’s worth it for the experience. Definitely take the time to make reservations! This is a hugely popular and busy restaurant and it books up quickly for almost every night of the week. There is adequate free parking onsite, but if the lot is full, there is usually open street parking available within a block or so. I would definitely recommend it as one of the “must make reservations” restaurants when you are visiting Palm Springs.

My husband and I enjoyed our meal here. The outdoor ambience is lovely, but it was too chilly for us to eat outside. The indoor area where we sat was just average. The short rib special was very good and tender, but we had a better short rib at another PS restaurant earlier this week. The crème brûlée was average. It had an odd peach flavor. I prefer vanilla crème brûlée. Friendly service.

Copley's is a Palms Springs institution! The courtyard seating is definitely where it's at! Get a table and take in the people watching. Victor was our waiter and he was amazing! Quick, knowledge and funny. He made our evening. The food was delicious, the short ribs were so good! The sides dishes were a little off. Would definitely come back and try another dish. Very romantic, perfect for a date night.

I was really hoping to love this place but it was a little off. There was a large wedding party seated in the courtyard and the staff had trouble keeping up with the rest of the guests. Our server was very apologetic, but the lapses were hard to ignore. For example my wife and I ordered glasses of wine with our entrees, which were slow to arrive, but the wine didn’t show up until we were almost finished eating. We noticed neighboring tables having the same experience. We ordered a ceviche appetizer and it was delightful and right sized for two to share. My entree was the daily special short ribs. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My wife had scallops with shrimp timbale. She thought the scallops were lacking a good sear and the shrimp was underwhelming. We had a cremé brûlée desert with after dinner drinks. The appetizer and desert were the highlight of the meal.

Finally, got to check out Copley's. As always, this review is not ment to bash Copleys nor talk negatively, but rather give a neutral opinion so that other customers know what they can expect when visiting this Restaurant. Online booking process was super simple. A credit card is required to reserve a table online which is pretty common these days and perfectly understandable. The setting is very nice. Outdated but nice.. Almost like a step back in time. Very comfortable. Unfortunately we could not check out the inside since they require vaccination card to enter. Outside seating only for non vaccinated guests [as of 9/15/21]. Let's get started with appetizer....the bread basket is an item you have to order and pay for. Usually at other restaurants that's for free and comes with the meal. $10 for a few slices of bread and super sweet butter. Not worth the value in my opinion. If the breads were exceptional I totally would un dersrand paying for it but breads were just average. They claim that breads are homemade. The butter that came with the breads was super sugary sweet which in my opinion was just horrible. I had to ask for non sugary butter which they gladly brought out. I would recommend to add jam or so instead of butter with sugar. We also had the Potstickers and Boa Buns. The Poststickers were very good. Everything on that plate was exceptionally good for our tast budds. The Boa Bun Short Ribs were plated taco style and tasted pretty good. I did not like the lack of smoke flavor and again the sauce was way to sweet and had hardly any chili flavor which we expected. Cauliflower Flan an and venison Schnitzel for the Entrees. The Cauliflower Flan was a pretty interesting plate we both enjoyed. It was not overly sweet and the plate came together well in our mouth. The Schnitzel on the other hand was not that great. Meat definitely was cooked to perfection but hardly any seasoning that would have made this dish really good. I always squeeze a lemmon on my Schnitzel which makes any Schnitzel that's not seasoned properly really good. On this plate however, there was only half of a large lime. I gave it a try and squirted lime juice over the breaded Schnitzel which made it taste absolutely horrible. My advice to the kitchen...use a Lemmon and not a lime. The sauce was again, sweet....the garlic fries were just average that I could have made better at home but we still enjoyed them. We did also enjoy the deserts. Some very nice twists on those that are really enjoyable. Overall It was a good experience. We will definitely be back to hopefully give this place a 5 star review. The few things we would like to see a change is that not everything is sugary sweet and better seasoned. There is almost only elderly guests and I am not sure if they adjusted the seasoning for dishes to their needs but in order to get this place a 5 star rating it needs improvements. If the mentioned should be the case then I wonder why everything was loaded with sugar....that part did not make any sense to me. I go to these sort of better restaurants to eat good savory food and not sugar. Except desert of course. The wine list is also very small but they have a pretty good variety. American wines only though. Waitress could not tell us if shrimp dishes were made with farm or fresh shrimp so we passed on those since we don't eat farmed shrimp. A commend to resolve this would be appreciated. Bottom line is: Staff and service are absolutely exceptional. Great job. Outdated structure but cosey and a very nice setting. Most dishes we had lacked seasoning and some dishes like Schnitzel with a Lime don't go together at all. Too much sugar in sauces and dishes.. Everything was cooked to perfection and veggies were super fresh and rich in color. Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Great vibe and beautiful spot 5/5 Our server Grace was very welcoming, nice and professional 5/5 Drinks were not served in the right glasses! Food was not great comparing to the level of the restaurant!! It was my friend’s birthday and they kept asking if we are celebrating anything (on the phone while booking, the moment we arrived the guy who was seating us, and once the server came to introduce herself, and when we ordered dessert) so at least they could could have brought a small dessert for the birthday girl for free, but they had it counted in the receipt, which is a cheap move for a restaurant, it was only 12 dollars and of course it’s nothing in the customer’s bill which is over 200$, also nothing for the restaurant!! But it’s a nice gesture, and if they are not willing to do it, what’s the purpose of asking the question of what are you celebrating?!

Restaurant week. The mini ahi tacos +$9 added to pre-fixed price was very good! Had the New York prefixed dinner. An additional $15 to set menu. The $59 restaurant week special was now $83. Really in mood for a good steak. Ordered it medium and it came almost well done. Very disappointed. Server offered another but everyone else started eating and didn’t want to wait. Of course being cooked almost well done it wasn’t as tender as hoped. He then said they would adjust the bill. Well check arrived with no adjustment /discount to bill. The duo dessert -apple tart & tiny square flourless kind of cake was totally underwhelming for that level of restaurant. Been there once before and had a great meal. Not sure because of restaurant week or what… but very disappointing! Won’t be on top of list for high end dining anymore.

We were in Palm Springs and joined the Diva’s high school friend and his partner for a drink on the edge of a golf course looking out over Bing Crosby’s home in the surrounding mountains when it was time for dinner. We followed them down the road a bit to Cary Grant’s old house where we had dinner on his front lawn. Copley’s is an old school place with old school servers and food. The service was good and the view was nice. The food had an old school vibe too it, but was delicious and nicely presented with decent size portions. This dinner cost about the same as a meal we had in Yountville back in January, but this dinner was tasty and filling and fed 4 people instead of two. The potstickers to start were mehh. The king salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus was enjoyed by our guest. I enjoyed the grilled ahi with a scallop, but I have to say the so called giant scallop was average size at best.

My main plate (the branzino) was pretty good. But my cucumber side salad was a different story. The cucumbers and tomatoes were not fresh. They were a bit rubbery. Sure sign of being in cold refrigeration for way too long. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal but for a $75 meal (entree + 1 cocktail) for 1, it was very disappointing.

Went for Christmas dinner. Service was impeccable, very warm and welcoming, thoughtful, à l’écoute. You’d expect everything to be perfect in a 98$ /person Christmas menu however it’s wasn’t. Starters were good but disappointing for a restaurant that claims to be fine dining: salads drowned in sauce, scallops of mediocre quality etc. As for main courses, it varied, the meats were really good with great sides, but the seafood pasta was bland, overcooked, lacklustre… No choice of desert: a « typical American Yul », way too sweet, no efforts made on the recipe, I’m sure some diners had better deserts. For me the price makes it hard to look past all those details that are crucial for a meal to go from plain to exceptional. For around 600$ the night with my family I want exceptional. The only aspect of the evening that was indeed up to the standard was once again the service, and of course the fact that they could make dinner happen on Christmas Eve.

This is one of the best food in Palm Springs, out of all the restaurants we have tried. Quite a few selection of different dishes and we tried 10 different dishes and they were mostly good. However they put cilintro in 4 out of 4 dishes that we had the second time we went there and none of the menu or verbal descriptions included that. I happened to not like that, and the manager was also unapologetic about it, staying it is just a garnish. Also we ordered the steak medium, and the meat was well done as you can see in the photo. The preparation was all complex with good taste. Relaxing and romantic outdoor setting.

6 of us decided to have dinner at Copley's Jan. 4 and for many reasons were disappointed. The previous night we ate at Spencer's and would recommend that restaurant as it is far superior. Copley's had great service, terrace dining was unique and food quality was excellent however.....it fell short in many areas Circular table on Terrace was out of balance. We had a hard time keeping it from rocking until we were able to get someone to come and help to try to level it off. Limited menu and how dare they charge $10 for bread. Our server said he would come back with specials and we were waiting to hear them because the menu is so limited however when he came back, he said unfortunately there were no specials because they’re sold out. Our dinner reservation was 6:30 PM and they are sold out of the specials? Are you kidding me? After dinner, the server asked if we like desserts and we said sure let’s see the menu and we proceeded to order cappuccino and hot coffee before ordering dessert. However, our server replied that unfortunately they have no hot beverages available because their coffee pot broke. Yes it broke so we had no dessert with no hot beverages available. find somewhere else to spend over $400

We hadn’t eaten at Copleys for a few years and were looking forward to going back. The atmosphere is, as it always has been, wonderful. The service was attentive: no complaints so far. But the food was honestly awful. We wanted to like it but it was either bad (vegetables that tasted like they were sitting around for a few days) or just not good enough. The beet salad had such a strong taste of cloves it ruined the taste. The special of the day - seared tuna loin was just strange. The tuna was swimming in what tasted like bottled sweet chili sauce. The accompanying mashed potatoes might have been instant potatoes. The wedge salad was served with dollops of tapenade and guacamole. The duck was the best meal but again, the flavours of the sides didn’t work. There’s something going on in the kitchen and it’s not good. It’s too bad as the atmosphere is just so beautiful.

We are regular visitors to Palm Springs and look forward to new dining experiences each time. Copley’s has been one of those places we’ve look forward to. We visited last night, New Year’s Eve, and the experience fell flat, especially at $99 USD each … Our reservation was for 9:30 pm and we were finally seated at about 10:00 pm. Not a big deal really, as long as the hostess is somewhat apologetic. My wife checked in at 9:25 pm and then when she went to inquire about our table to the same hostess, the hostess asked if my wife again if she was checking in. It made us feel overlooked. The table was nice and everything folks say about the ambience at Copley’s is accurate - it’s magical! I had the salmon, which was very good. My wife had the pork chop, half of which was fat. There was no choice in dessert, which seemed to be an afterthought. Overall, the food was average. Mostly we noticed inconsistency in which servers treated guests. Some had smiles and conversation, others simply had dishes dumped in their table or dirty dishes whisked away. For us, there didn’t seem to be a genuine concern for how we felt about our meals and experience. For those reasons, I wouldn’t consider returning since there are so many other fantastic options on the Palm Springs strip.

Definitely not a place we would waste our money at again. We waited over 45 minutes for our meals to arrive! Then when they came the pork chop was way overdone, then they said it was going to be a long wait unless I wanted to order the pasta to which when the pasta showed up it really was somebody else's because you can tell that it was left over from another dish that they had extra from

Way, way overrated. First off, unless you go here for lunch, you’re not seeing any Mountain View’s. Second, and this should be first, don’t come for a romantic dinner. All the tables “for two” are a joke. They are tiny. We eventually found a tables for 3 which was ok. But let’s face it, the standard tables for 2 are not worth north of $300. My Valentine had a NY STRIP STEAK that was “chewy,” but was priced as if it was Filet Migon. Over and and out.

Very Disappointing Experience – Made Worse by How It Was Handled We are locals in the area and chose this restaurant on September 23rd to celebrate a special occasion — a birthday dinner with a party of six. While we had many other options to choose from, we decided to dine here based on previous experiences and good word of mouth. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be memorable for all the wrong reasons. Four out of the six of us ordered the ahi tuna dish, and by later that night, all four of us were experiencing severe stomach issues — including stomach aches, vomiting, and diarrhea that carried into the next day. Needless to say, it completely ruined the celebration and left us extremely concerned about the quality and safety of the food. We called the restaurant to report what had happened, hoping for a sincere response and some accountability. Instead, the manager we spoke to simply said she would “pass the message along to the chef.” There was no apology, no follow-up, and no real acknowledgment of how serious the situation was. As locals, it’s disappointing to feel so dismissed — especially after choosing this place over many others for a special occasion. Mistakes can happen in any kitchen, but the way this was handled showed a real lack of care for customer well-being and satisfaction. We won’t be returning and hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously — both in terms of food safety and how they respond when something goes wrong.

As frequent travelers who regularly dine at high-end establishments globally, we expect a certain level of operational integrity and hospitality—especially when booking months in advance for a major holiday. Unfortunately, our New Year’s Eve experience at Copley’s on Palm Canyon was a complete failure in both. We had secured our reservation months ago, looking forward to celebrating the New Year. However, upon arrival, we were essentially told that our table had been given away. The explanation provided was that due to bad weather, they didn't have enough tables to accommodate everyone and had seemingly "auctioned off" seating to whoever was there or willing to pay more in the moment. Rather than honoring a long-standing commitment to a confirmed guest, the management was remarkably unaccommodating. There was no meaningful attempt to rectify the situation or provide an alternative; we were simply left to find another option on one of the busiest nights of the year. For a restaurant that positions itself as a premier Palm Springs destination, this lack of basic reliability and "first-come, first-served" approach to confirmed reservations is unacceptable. If you are looking for a venue that respects its patrons and understands high-end service standards, I would suggest looking elsewhere. We ended up dining at another establishment that actually understood the meaning of a reservation. Not recommended for special occasions.

Overall experience was below my already skeptical expectations. Services was poor and unprofessional at a 100$+ per person restaurant. Service wasn't even the biggest issues though, as the food tasted like it was cooked in a high school cafeteria. Overcooked, dry, tough, would be the words I'd use to describe our meal here. The seafood linguine looked like it was pulled out of a trash can, seafood overcooked to the point of having the same texture as a car tire, and the pasta was so dry it all clumped together like they forgot to put sauce on the dish. There are so many amazing restaurants in Palm Springs and the coachella valley that serve incredible food and have amazing service, to spend over a 100$ per person on nothing but rubber is ridiculous and I should've saved my money and bought a new pair of car tires instead, those would honestly taste better than whatever slip they are throwing in a plate in the back of Copley's. All this to say wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

We have eaten at Copley’s many times before, never disappointed… util now. The positive: Short rib 9/10. Scallops, which would have been 8/10 if they didn’t come with a medallion of cat food masquerading as salmon, 6/10. Server 8/10. The negative: Hostess 0/10. Upon arrival early for our reservation we find the hostess berating her staff… something about getting ice, or NOT getting ice… who knows. It was so weird that we asked her if she needs a moment to… well… regain her composure. She tells us we reserved a patio table. It was raining. We asked if she meant for us to sit under the rain. Her response: “You should have called to tell us you don’t want to sit in the rain.” Guess accommodating guests is not her thing. We squeeze ourselves at a table between the entrance and the bus station, under a tiny awning. I asked her what her name was. She barks at us: “Shannon”. Five second later she returned to scream “DO. YOU. HAVE. A. PROBLEM?”, and yet another few seconds later she throws what she claimed to be the “owner’s card” at us. Clearly not her first time she’s done that! If the owner cared, she wouldn’t have a job at Copley. All this was happening while a hand full of staff was standing around, watching… aghast! Our poor server tried to make up for her shocking behavior by profusely apologizing through out the evening.

Came back after years away and regretted it immediately. The food was awful, especially considering the price. I’m genuinely confused how a restaurant charging $100 per person serves food at this level. Service was fine, but that’s the bare minimum. There are dozens of far better restaurants in the Coachella Valley do yourself a favor and pick literally any of them.

We had high expectations for Copley’s based on numerous reviews and hype— “The Most Delicious Meal in Palm Springs,” “Not to be missed!,” “Great food, great, Great Service!” Man, were we disappointed. After our server’s initial hello, the waiter disappeared for 20 minutes. Then, as he approached our table, he said, ‘I’ll be right there!’— and vanished for another 15 minutes. Finally, he took our order. We were informed that in this fine dining establishment, there was a two-dollar up charge for adding anchovies to our Caesar Salads. Ditto for ordering of Truffle fries, though I forget the up charge… Two in our party of ordered different fish entrees. Both were mediocre. The Salmon, promised to be pan-seared medium, was overcooked. While ordering the NY Steak, I expressly asked that it be prepared rare to medium rare— and not beyond that. The server said he’d put the order in for ‘rare plus.’ My steak came to me well done. I took one bite, and left the remaining steak untouched. I should have sent it back, but didn’t want my dinner guests waiting for the kitchen to give it another go. The night was already growing whiskers. I told our server the steak was horribly over cooked. His reply: “I’ll tell the kitchen.” Everyone has a bad night from time to time. Every kitchen has an off night. We were anticipating a special dinner at a special place. Stuff happens. I hope you have a better experience.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Copley’s on Palm Canyon. We made a reservation and were seated early, which initially felt promising. Our drinks and salad arrived quickly, though the alcoholic beverage was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. Our waitress, Bianca, seemed pleasant but never returned to check on us after taking our entrée order. We watched as multiple tables including a large party seated after us were served their meals while we continued to wait. After over an hour with no food and no communication, I asked to cancel our order. Even that request took another 15 minutes to be addressed. At that point, I approached the general manager Shannon Mesey to express how uncomfortable and overlooked we felt. As the only non-white table in the area, watching every white table around us receive their meals while we were ignored was deeply concerning. Rather than addressing the situation professionally, the manager responded with shocking rudeness and dismissiveness. As I walked away, she stated, “Well, looks like he’s never coming back, but at least the other 300 people are happy eating here.” That comment alone speaks volumes about the culture of this establishment. Instead of resolving the issue, management escalated it with arrogance and hostility. No guest should ever be made to feel dismissed, discriminated against, or insignificant. We are locals who support our community restaurants, but we will absolutely not be returning. Palm Springs deserves better hospitality, better management, and far more respect than what we experienced here.

Sadly the food was not up to par. The lamb chop was very tough (ordered rare) and the potatoes had an unusual flavor. The spinach with the scallops had grit in it. Like it was not washed well. The service was good. Total cost was $120 without tip. We would not go back.

Owner or Manager kindly re-think the menu, not everyone is local or a visitor, some of us have live abroad and experienced great cuisine. So much potential going down the drain. A busy, long-standing establishment that could be great—but instead is simply terrible. The kitchen seems determined to do too much and succeeds at nothing. Less is more, especially when cooking fish. A dish as simple and delicate as branzino was ruined by an overload of mismatched sides, overcooked and flavorless. What should have been tasty and elegant was just bad—plainly and unforgivably bad.
