Quick to serve and a very friendly staff
I think I can say this was the best Chinese food I have ever had! Chicken fried rice was AMAZING, but everything else was too, very tender meat! Nice large portions too, I have been eating this as leftovers for the past two days.
This is an excellent Chinese Restaurant close to downtown Palm Springs. Food is ample and tasty, service is friendly and fast, prices are reasonable. Not much nearby parking so arrive early in case you need to circle or park some distance away.
Excellent and very tasty classic Chinese cuisine with all your favorite choices on a complete menu. Family-owned and operated with attentive service, this place has been around forever, and they serve until 10pm. Yummy and filling.
Great place for dinner, also was great on the 2 go orders..very nice family run restaurants.they r always very nice n very nice 2 me me n never had any issues with the food or the ambience.food is alwsys great, but very hot"fire hot".she has her kids there sometimes n they r very helpful also..they r always doin their homework there.
Never had a problem here. I love this place. They are very friendly - the food is OK to very good. Figure it out and order the stuff you like. Me? I like the vibe. The owner's kids on-site are good for a big smile. Hey - It's a Family Owned business and the family is there trying to make a living - serving good food at very decent prices. There are plenty of other places if you want over-priced pretentious food/atmosphere. Feel free to go to those places and pay way more. I do - sometimes (for impressing out-of-towners) but when I crave basic Chinese-ish food for a good price and a guaranteed smile from the servers - THIS is the place.
I first ate at China King in 1984 in the summer when almost all restaurants were closed. At the time I remember that I enjoyed the food that the atmosphere was very plain and the food was very good the other night so many restaurants were busy and lines out the street and it was actually rather cold and I thought of China King and there it was same place 28 38 years later actually so I took my friend inside and the food was very good he loved his and said it was one of the best meals that he had had and I had the orange chicken and it was so delicious it was not overcooked or hard and I was extremely impressed with the food the service the fast service and ended up taking as much home as I ate while there if you are looking for a good place to eat or to take out and you don't mind sitting in a diner atmosphere then this is the place for you. If you need fancy decorations and that type of thing then most likely you will need to select another restaurant.
I love this place my mom used to bring China King home way back in the 80'S. They have been serving my community for over 40 years and their food has always been great. Their menu is large and you definitely get your bang for your buck with portions and flavor. If your in PS you gotta hit them up
We thoroughly enjoyed our selections. Large portions, friendly family service and very tasty... we were 10 minutes away and by the time we arrived our order was boxed, ready and waiting. Couldn't be more pleased.
I love this spot!! Hot and sour soup is simply amazing!! The flavor is all there!! If you haven't tried you definitely have to try the combination three flavor. Beef, chicken and shrimp it's one of those OMG moments.. Delicious..lol 😁😋
King for a reason! This is a whole in the wall feel (which if you know anything about Chinese food is what you want!) any rude reviews about the children must be stuck up people. Generous portions and take out was easy/quick. I’ll be picking up from here every Palm Springs trip. Thank you!!
There was SO MUCH SHRIMP in my fried rice I was so surprised!
You don't need fancy atmosphere when the food and prices are this great! I haven't had orange beef so tasty and crisp in years, and they accomodated my request to add vegetables with ease. We'll be back...for sure!
We were walking by and decided to stop in for dinner. We had such a great experience. The food is great and the value for $$$ is great as well. The service was very welcoming. Highly recommend!!!
Bang for the buck Chinese food.. Really worth it! Fried rice was delicious 😋
Been coming to this place since 2013!!! Love the place and the owner is very nice and friendly. The food is good 😋 and a good amount as well. Love coming here for lunch!
Great service great food! Ate here with the whole family. The food was delicious and the service was solid. Not sure why they have gotten bad reviews. This place is a simple throwback to eating Chinese in a restaurant setting and it taste homemade. Try it.
Been coming here for years. Family run and the restaurant is always so clean. Very friendly atmosphere.
We walked in to the restaurant for the first time to try out the food. The fried rice was good but not great . We also tried the fried prawns for appetizers they were really good. We ordered chicken chow mien it was really good as well. We complimented the plates with a shrimp and asparagus which had the water chestnuts..it was awesome. The service was kind of dry at the beginning but then the waitress started to soften up towards the end. Would we go back.??? Yes I'm sure we would. Maybe by becoming more regular to the staff they maybe a little more friendlier from the start.
Tucked away in an obscure corner building with non-distinct "China King" signage, this place can be easy to miss or dismiss outright. Do not make that mistake as wherein lies a true gem of Palm Springs dining. The food is fresh and the portions are huge, and I have it on good authority (my Chinese girlfriend) that this is about as authentic Chinese food as you can get outside of China. We started with the Spicy Crispy Chicken Wing appetizer and were surprised to discover eight wings instead of the usual four. The were, indeed, spicy and crispy, on a bed of chopped chilis and cabbage. Those disappeared quickly. Next we sampled the Singapore Noodles with chicken and shrimp. I counted no less than ten succulent, and perfectly cooked, shrimp with the usual complement of chicken and various vegetables. The noodles had a light coating of curry as described on the menu. This dish was HUGE! Between my girlfriend and I we barely finished 75% of the plate before we were both full and satisfied. Due to COVID-19 they only offer take-out right now. Do yourself and your gang a favor and try this place out. You will not be dissapointed.
Again delicious 😋 we keep coming back .. Fried Tofu Crispy Beef Mongolian Beef Garlic Pork General Tsao Chicken Golden Fried Shrimp Hot Sour Soup All of it was so good. The owner and staff are great attentive and friendly I will keep coming back its yummy
It is easy to just pass by this place but if you want some fantastic food, stop in and eat. Service is quick, portions are quite large, price is right and food is very very good.
I been dining at the restaurant for over 29 years. Every time, I go there, it is like going back home. Thank you for the food and great customer service.
It’s a good time with family food was amazing and service was nice and fast too and the portions are really big good place for family
Family run, traditional Chinese restaurant with delicious fresh food and huge portions. The place is clean, comfortable, and casual. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and unlike many Asian restaurants that focus on onions, this dish was filled with fresh broccoli, carrots, snow, peas, and huge amounts of thin-sliced white meat chicken. It was flavorful and not full of gooey cornstarch sauce, like some Chinese restaurants. I’m a big fan of Chinese food and this is one of the tastiest I’ve had in a while.
Very friendly staff. Good for for the price and really generous portions. We will definitely be patronizing this place more frequently. There is a reason it’s been around for 60 years.
This is a delicious, cozy place to eat! The best Chinese food you will ever have. This place is a gem and the service is excellent!
I ate late lunch here for the first time, 12/24. I ordered BBQ PFR, Chicken Chow Mein and fried shrimp, for appetizer. Large portions, great for take home re-heats. Very fresh, no heavy oils or spices. I was very pleased & would return again. They might want to play some music to improve the ambiance: the atmosphere is like old, Chinese diner; has character & music in the background would liven it up a bit.
This place sells duck and it’s the best I’ve had since Hawaii. They also actually put filling in their wontons. Everyone in the house loved the food. Easy 5 star meal.
Great takeout! I've dined in once or twice, but usually I like to get food to go. The atmosphere is modest. It's clean and unassuming. The food is the star.
best chinese food ever. my family and i love coming here when we’re in palm springs or nearby. amazing service too and the food is literally so bomb. y’all better stop by.
I truly don’t understand why this place is not more packed with people! The food is amazing and has the home cooked feeling to it, and the service is quick and they are all so kind.
BEST CHINESE FOOD IN PALM SPRINGS 😍 Get their family style dinner special!! So worth it comes with so much food!! SMALL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS I LOVE 😍😍 COME HERE IF YOURE HUNGRY
Excellent Chinese food and super friendly service!! I started with the sesame balls and hot and sour soup. The sesame balls were so tasty with the crispy outside covered in sesame seeds to the chewy sweet bean paste inside (I left with an additional order to go!!). The hot and sour soup was thick (just the way it should be) and full of delicious ingredients; like mushrooms, chicken, egg, bamboo shoots. For my main I shared mushu pork and beef lo mein. The mushu pork was the best I've had in such a long time, lots of crunchy veggies and tender pork! The beef lo mein was tasty too. Lots of food and had lots of left overs. The service is friendly and fast! Can't wait to come back to try new things.
This is one of the best, if not the best, Chinese restaurants in the Coachella Valley. The service was great and fast. Very polite and attentive servers. The food is always good. We will be back.
Super friendly staff and the food was tasty as well as ready really quick!

Been going here for over 30 yrs. Food is excellent as always 😋 Wonton soup and paper wrapped chicken was amazing 👏
If you want the best Chinese food here in Palm Springs, this is the place. Not a first-time date place, since it's not fancy in any way, but if you care more about the food, lights out out of bounds. I went for lunch and the portions are the size of the dinner menu. The flavor was another lever. Best Chicken Curry I have ever had. Kudos to this establishment!!!!
My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and were delighted. Affordable yummy dinner in Palm Springs?! I didn’t think it existed until this little gem proved me wrong. The ambiance is exactly what I want in a family run Chinese restaurant.
AMBIANCE: There is no ambiance, just a big room with ample seating. That might be the reason the room was empty with all of their customers doing takeout. SERVICE: The waiter brought 2 waters and 2 tea cups for 4 people. Simple mistake, not a big deal. MENU: An excellent selection of standard choices. QUANTITY: Way more than our party of four could eat – took home bags of leftovers. QUALITY: First rate and delicious.. PRICE: Too low. They’ll go broke if they don’t raise their prices. You can enjoy a great dinner here for less than $20. FINAL ANALYSIS: Judging by other reviews this is a place you’ll either love or hate. Our party of 4 senior’s loved it and will be back!

Ok. Got there at 12:30pm and the place was empty. By 1pm 7 people were there. The food wasn't bad but could be better. And it got cold quick. The waitress kid was there screaming in the back. Looked like it was family owned. It was the middle of the week.
Best Chinese in Palm Springs. Always have a table available. Family run.
I used to eat at China King frequently a few years ago when I worked nearby, but hadn't been for at least eight years. It was surprisingly little changed. The food is plentiful and inexpensive, especially if you get the lunch specials. There is nothing gourmet about this place, but it is a decent choice for a quick meal. If you are looking for something unpretentious in Palm Springs, this might be on your list.
China King has an extensive Chinese menu. I've ordered take out and delivery many times and been very happy with the food. The restaurant is not very appealing to eat in, but don't let that stop you from getting food to take away.
Staff was great. Food was good. Atmosphere was very quiet in dining room, could have used some soft background music.
Our family three generations live it, it is a very plain but fresh and tasty well proportioned meal Everytime. Over 30 years I believe in the same location. I do wish a renovation with more pep would happen. They are an insider tip. It's about awesome food.. Currently 12_18-21 Take out only, although, 6 benches, 3ctables decided can eat in. Main dining room closed.
Food is delicious. I always get the sweet ‘n’ sour shrimp. I’ve been coming here for over 14years. The portion sizes are great and prices are good.
Food- solid classic style chinese cooking . Good flavor and big portions. Soup was excellent. They also serve wine and beer. at very good prices Service - good service. Family owned and kids helped Vibe - this is a simple restaurant. Nothing fancy located in the middle of Palm Springs. Restroom was very maintained. Clean restaurant.
The quality and portions of the food are great. Atmosphere is Cozy. It's not ultra Fancy or trendy inside, but it is clean , traditional, and the non-presence of fanciness reflects IN THE PRICE. It's very affordable. The only issue I had is, like many Chinese family-owned & operated businesses, the children work there , serving and interacting with customers. And that is fine, except there seems To be a WIDER than usual understanding Gap between the parents ,who BARELY speak English and maybe can't pick up on sarcasm, and the children who are very much Americanized and PRACTICE sarcasm on the customer. In my experience, The female elder sent the child server back out to us to bring an additional teacup , because I was given a whole pot of tea just for myself and my wife tasted it and liked it. Already feeling like she had fulfilled her duties with us, The child- female server marched back out to us in an irritable manner and firmly placed the cup at the very edge of the table, out of reach to my wife, She then sternly said, "there you go!" , and turned around and stomped off in the same irritable manner, WELL before my wife had a chance to say "thank you". It was a poor display of manners in which I believe she KNEW her parents would NOT pick up on because of the serious Gap of English-understanding. Ironically, I believe this is the whole reason they have the children deal with the customers. They speak better English. But they're also MUCH better at sarcasm and rudeness. Hell if I wanted to put up with attitude from a preteen, I could just stay home & forcibly have my kids serve me. I'd get the same result. Hopefully, this review will be seen by the parents, and adjustments will be made accordingly.
This place is family run, the staff was extremely friendly and the food portions were good and the food was served freshly made and fast. We ordered for Fried Rice and Hunan Vegetables both were really good 👍🏻 They helped us get the right dishes and prices are reasonable too, A must try!!
Hidden Gem, I didn't even know about. Classic old school Chinese Restaurant with Really good authentic food. Better than any place u pick food from behind the glass. Here, is a sit down and enjoy your food Restaurant. U can also get it to go but why.
So I’ve recently started eating here with my coworkers who love the food. Honestly it’s not great however the family that runs this nice little restaurant is so cool and service oriented. The son & daughter are on it, orders drinks and setting tables. It’s fun to see a family run place that is actually family run. I don’t do 5 stars because it isn’t a 5 star place; it’s one of those little guilty pleasures you go to because you know it’s not a gourmet restaurant, it’s one of those whole in the wall places that pack on the food for a reasonable price.
Food is good. Service is good. The place is clean. We have dined in a few times. Most of the time we did take out..
This place has been in PS for a very long time. Pretty decent food in comparison to any other Chinese restaurants in the desert. They remodeled which updated the resturant a bit. They have a good lunch menu where there is a decent portion of food for the price. Family run which is nice. If youre in the mood for Chines food worth the stop!
China King is the best "chinese" you'll find in Palm Springs. Now don't get excited, that's not really saying a lot when you're only other choice is Panda Express. If you're wanting good Asian in Palm Springs, you'll find it in many Thai places and some Vietnamese too. But Chinese remains the elusive category in PS. So, I decided to give China King a try. So first the food. It's not bad really... pretty standard but not bad. I'd say it's fairly average for all the Americanized Chinese food I've had 50 plus years. The Kung Pao chicken was a little spicy but not much, and the flavor was ok. The chicken Lo Mein was on the bland side, but the noodles tasted fresh and there was lots of chicken pieces. Prices are reasonable for Palm Springs, and they have some lunch specials and some good deals if you arrive before 5:00pm. The portions are huge, each plate could feed two people as long as you're not very hungry. The hot and sour soup was pretty good, but when they say a cup they mean a small cup for sure. They brought me brown rice without asking if I wanted brown or white. Which they may only have the brown, you might ask if you go. A strong point here is the family that runs it are very friendly. Some younger ones of the family are helping out which is fine. They checked back on me a couple times. They do a LOT of take out business I noticed. The restaurant itself is clean, but on the small side and sparse. My biggest "odd" observation was actually the front door. Reminded me of a fire escape door at a theater. Just a solid metal double door. If they were to replace it with a nicer wood/glass window door it would go a long way of making the place a bit more inviting. Some pendant lighting above the booths instead of just can lights in the entire place would also help cozy things up a bit. But I digress. So for Chinese food in Palm Springs it's China King or fast food. I'd go back to China King to explore the menu a little, maybe pick up some quick take out some night. But I'd like to find some tastier dishes there, before I'd consider taking out of town friends. For now if they want chinese, I'd probably steer them to some Thai or just say ... "Gas up the car, were getting on the I-10 south".
Food is fantastic. Busy place with very generous portions. Not the sexiest restaurant but you go here for the food and their great service. Food comes out very fast. Try the assorted appetizers. A taste of several things. Another great disk is the fried pork in garlic sauce. Overall a really good place with great food.

This place has been in Palm Springs for a long time. The food is pretty decent compared to other Chinese restaurants in the desert. Ambiance: There isn’t much ambiance just a large room with ample seating. This might explain why most customers seem to opt for takeout. Service: Our waiter friendly but slow Menu: The menu offers an excellent selection of standard Chinese dishes. Quantity: Portions are generous, way more than our group of four could eat. We ended up taking home plenty of leftovers. Quality: The food was first rate and delicious. Overall: It’s a family run spot with solid food, generous portions, and good value. If you’re in the mood for Chinese food, it’s definitely worth a stop!

3 stars because my entree of sesame chicken sauce was just ok. It is white meat which is good. The steamed dumpling were good. I try possibly the sweet and sour chicken next time and see if I like that better
The food is okay but missing flavor and the restaurant is mainly takeout with limited seating with dated ambiance. Small amount of parking and lacks hospitality upon entering. Overall it's not a restaurant I would make a habit of coming back to often.
Not a good place to dine in. The ribs didn't taste nice at all. Also, they don't have a washroom. Asked to wash our hand and they gave us wipes. The dine in area is unkempt. First Cup of water is free but subsequently, you will have to pay. The serving size is okay and the rice was okay. Didn't take so long to get our meal. Meals are served in take out packs even if you are eating it there. Just get take outs, don't dine in.
We’ve enjoyed this location in the past, however this time was disappointing. With on-line ordering and the children working the front, we left unknowingly left without rice or sauces to drive 15 minutes back to our condo. We called to order rice and were rushed to hang up. We went back to get rice and the the kids didn’t recognize we were just there. We had perviously tipped $20 on a $90 take out order. I expected to be greeted with some rice and quickly sent back home. Instead, they asked us whether we ordered online, then figured out how to place the order themselves, and charged us $10, which needed to be cash if the order was under $15. I coached both kids and reminded them of the big tip and said “normally this is where you would just give us some rice.” Gave the boy a twenty and asked for my $10 change. Back at home the food all kind of tasted the same. Could just have been a bad night for them, or it could be that customer service has been lost, such as the question “Do you want rice?” when it must be ordered separately. Could all just be me pushing back on a world of self service stores and restaurants where suddenly the customer is responsible for anything wrong….
Food and price is great! However the service was very unprofessional. Mom and kids seem to run the place and mom yelling at the kids while kids serving customers, slamming plates down and having bad attitudes.
I had tried to order a lunch special online but didn't see any lunch specials online. I went in the restaurant and the daughter of the owners asked me if I wanted to go or for there and I said I want a lunch special. Do you have lunch specials? And she said yes and I said, 'But not online.' She gave me the most hateful look from then on. I don't know why they wouldn't have their lunch specials online and I was just suggesting that they do. The mother, or I assume the woman who took my order, was very nice and very helpful to me. When I came back to pick up my order. The young girl give me a very stern and hateful look. Here I am 2 days later still disturbed by that. Which is why I'm writing this review. I suggest that Mom explain to her daughter to smile at customers. And maybe pass on customer concerns to her parents. Wondering why a lunch menu is not online is not a personal attack, and the message should be passed on to her parents. And that's what she should say, rather than glaring at me.
I got the crispy orange beef. It was tasty, but I don't think that was beef
It's an okay establishment. The food is average, with below-average portion sizes (perhaps courtesy of reviews saying that they have large portions?). Also, contrary to what's on the menu, I did not get any soup, even though I ordered a dine-in lunch🤔. No white pepper or real soy sauce available (note: avoid those "soy sauce" to-go sachets and all cost), and the tiniest spring roll ever. Looked like the dwarfed version of the actual thing😬🤦🏻♂️. I still want to get places like these some business, especially in the harsh times that they've been going through because of the pandemic. Next time in the area I'll make the little trek to China 8 in Cathedral City, though. I'd say give them a whirl, maybe they'll up their game at some point.
I needed a quick place to eat lunch today and this fit the bill. The interior was rather drab but didn't look run down or dirty. The food was fairly standard "American Style" Chinese with all of the usual dishes your would expect, and no real surprises. That said, the service was very quick. Average portion sizes and run of the mill flavors prevent me from giving a four star rating, but this is a solid three star spot; While not great, it's definitely not bad either.

The food is here is MeH … very basic. Decent prices for a family on a budget. Some dishes are better than others but over all mediocre.
Felt very sketchy, bathrooms smelled bad and liked bad but service was good. The workers are polite and the happy hour deal is really good for the portion of food. I hope they renovate some day, the place has a lot of potential.

Don’t know who’s putting these reviews but walking in is depressing and small. Small children at the register handed me the menu and nobody else bothered to say hello or anything. Sat myself down. Over priced menu, anybody saying this is a good fast chinese food spot is out of their mind. Wouldn’t waste my time with all the other restaurants around.
Not enough staff, 20 min to get to place our order, ( just as we were getting ready to leave). Nobody bussing tables. 50 minutes to get our soup and appetizers. 15 minutes to get main course. However when we got the food, it was hot and quite good
My experience was less than desirable. I ordered online, and walked from the Hyatt with my dog to pickup my take out. Expecting the usual store front instead of restaurant I thought I'd pop right in and out. Instead I entered a very busy dining room at lunch time, and the host desk was all the way across the room by the kitchen. I digress, the food was so-so. The woman put it sideways in the plastic bag, so it leaked all over everything. She only included 1 small napkin, and didn't even ask if I needed anything. She goes "You order online?" And as soon as I said yes, she just turned around and walked away!! She muttered thank you after she was already half way in the kitchen. I understand she's busy, but I provided award winning customer service for 15 years, and it would be really nice while on vacation to be respected and sincerely thanked for my $15 for frozen food that tasted processed. I will not return.
I just ordered the orange chicken as a dinner. Unfortunately I could tell iwas not cooked fresh so it was not crispy like the title of it says. Also I was surprised to see there was no rice that came with it.. Apparently the dinners do not come with a rice you have to pay extra for rice. It was really surprising to me for $13 just have a few pieces of orange chicken. There is another chain Chinese fast food place off of sunrise that makes all their food fresh and gives you rice or noodles or half-and-half. I won’t come back here
Food was great before but new ownership seems they have change the way they make the food it is just okay now. Not the same as before and I have been going for 17yrs. Flavors are all different. Also wont give side of teriyaki sauce unless you pay $3.00 Panda Express and China 8 are free side of teriyaki sauce. They should let people know also they Close Wednesday.
Me and my hubby ordered pickup via Uber eats and even though on HIS phone he showed our order and she wouldn’t give it to him . She then asked for his ID !!!! After we spent almost 50$ on only 2 sides !!! She then tried to get a man to come out and intimidate him and he gave it to us no problem . Ridiculous customer service . Would not recommend to anyone .
I realize times are tough but they seem to be clearly struggling. The lunch special says it included soup but they refused to give it. It is only 10 bucks but the quality is not very good. Even if they have the items listed on the lunch special, it isn't really something I would go back to eat
First time here in Palm Springs, first time to come and order food to this restaurant and the server has attitude! Poor customer service! You should not serve and work in this place because customer won't come back again if you have horrible attitude! Then my order is deep fried chicken and gave me with sweet and sour sauce chicken? Seems they don't know how to cook or just fooling their customers! Please check your order this people can't be trusted!
I usually read reviews before going to a restaurant for the first time, and this place was rated 4 out of 5 stars and the only Chinese restaurant in all of downtown Palm Springs. I mean it’s typical American/Chinese food by looking at the menu, how bad could it be? It was easily the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and definitely the dirtiest business in all of Palm Springs, I’m surprised they haven’t been shut down. I don’t usually write such scathing reviews but I’m really disappointed and shocked that it was so bad, nothing but mush.
I live in Palm Springs and have tried this place on 4 occasions. They are ALWAYS rude and ignore their customers when they walk on the door. Their kids are always running through the building touching everything (3-6years old) The owner? And waitress just stare at you and don’t offer a menu or a place to sit. The building itself seems more like a run down coin op laundromat than a restaurant. If you dine in please ask them to bring new silverware because it WILL be dirty and please have the tables wiped down because they are always sticky. Don’t bother with a to go order unless you want to wait 45 minutes. They food has no taste and very salty. It’s so unfortunate that this place comes recommended by so many. I just don’t get it. I tried one last time to support this local business by ordering a to fo order online during COVID. I called ahead to make sure it would be ready when I got there. Then called curbside to pick up. They haven’t even cooked it yet. After 30 minutes, a lady came out a handed me a box full of food and asked “you order online?” You don’t get rice if you order online! Unbelievable. How can you run a business like this . I called the manager and they confirmed that if you order online you don’t get rice, although it comes with your meal if you order at the restaurant. Never again
Awful and disgusting greasy food. We will never eat there again. How do this people get away with serving low grade meat and tasteless and greasy food to Palm Springs residents and it's visitors. Please stay away and search elsewhere for good Chinese food.
Have eaten here for years and loved it. Always good, consistent and affordable. Last 2 visits were terrible. Just found out the owner sold the place. The new owners kept the same menu but the quality of the food went way way down. WILL NOT GO BACK.
Make sure To Ask How Long The Wait Is for food. Then double/Triple It B/C They, including the kids who work there (?), lie about it. Half a dozen people Waited 25 Minutes picking-up, My basic Meal Took 50 Minutes (Monday Night). Terrible (cute kids don't know customer service Enough) service for pick-up/To Go. o
Don't ever eat here! I ordered beef with green pepper and shrimp egg foo young. The beef was red. I expected brown. Did not have a good taste and I threw it away. The egg foo young didn't have any egg foo young. Normally egg foo young is large and thick. It looked like there were small pieces of possibly egg foo young from someone else torn off and thrown into the box. The vegetables in both tasting like they've been cooking for days and they finally had a chance to gets rid of some of it-to me.
Definitely not like San Diego Chinese Food. I was craving Chinese Food and tried this place out and never again! I ordered Crispy pork and this is what I received. Faster than Panda Express, but the meat was disgusting. I opened the lid for the sauce and everything spilled out, definitely bad packaging for a take out place.
Horrible food, dirty, nasty environment. We took out steamed fish w/ vegetables and crispy duck. The duck was old, dry, and smelly. A big bite had been taken off one the legs ( It appears that this order had been recycled) Disgusting. The fish was edible, OKAY actually. We called to complain about the duck — the call turned into an uphill battle with Mary, the manager (the owner, Fay Li is not reachable) who insisted we bring back the duck in order to get credit — which we did the next day. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. You’ll be sorry if you do. I’m considering placing a serious complaint with the City of Palm Springs and the Health authorities.
I went there for my birthday. First when I walked in the place it smelled like a sewer. I should have turned around and left. Next I ordered my food. My food was ready within 5 minutes. I should have left it there, because I know for a fact it takes longer to make egg foo yung. One hour after eating their food I was sick on the toilet. I was thoroughly disappointed ☹️. Where can a person go eat good Chinese cuisine anymore?
I went to this place once about 2 months ago and it was great. I went again Sunday for lunch. The Mongolian beef tasted like it had been left over from the night before. Much smaller portion and very dark coloring. The waitress never came back, after the food was served, except to bring the check. Not friendly at all. There was bits of food on the floor by the entrance. Very unappetizing. Will have to seriously think about going back to this place.
I never had an issues with ordering for pick up from this restaurant but today was different. I ordered Chow mien and the choice of meat was veggies for me. If you look up chow mien it results to the same reference photos of the dish being noodles correct? Well when I received my food the tray was completely full of vegetables with no noodles at all with a side of crispy noodles in a tiny bag. I went back in assuming she’d fix the issue but when I went in she told me the noodles are the crispy noodles in the little bag?? That made absolutely no sense?? If I were to order a different choice of meat like shrimp, would that tray be absolutely full of shrimp? I believe not because they charge for every piece of shrimp. I know she dusted it off for me to seem dumb. Absolutely not satisfied with the service along with the decision of getting my order fixed. Completely miss leading!!!
Service is super fast, quality of food, not good, it had no taste. My Sis had Mushroom Chicken & I had Cashew Chicken. The Thai Tea with Bobba with ice was great!
After a long 20+ hour drive I order Chinese food and she ask if I need forks and I said yes , I get nothing, my hotel has nothing so my food is getting cold! Thanks
Tried to go on 12/25 and the place was packed. Was seated in some storage room\dining room. Ordered and brought waters. We sat for over 50 mins with no food and no comments from the waiter. I looked around and not one table had been served. Left and went to the Thai place around the block
Do not eat here. First, the delivery was a mess. Photos below. They did not wrap anything and the sauce from one dish went all over every other dish and spilled everywhere. The food was not edible. It was disgusting. The portion is amazing. Unfortunately, the food was inedible.

Picked up 2 entrées they were both drenched in sauce . I The orange beef was so gross we just threw it in the trash . My bill was over $60 . This was very disappointing. I just felt ripped off. If you are looking for a authentic hole in the wall spot with amazing food this is not it . Panda Express would blow this place away.
I used to go there when I lived in Palm springs. And I was a frequent customer. I see how the little kids have grown up to be adults running the restaurant and I have to say. The food tastes like rubber junk now. What happened did you forget to taste your own food it's like slop. Take a look what you serve.
They were open. I was outside. I called and called. The phone rang and rang. They didn’t answer the phone. I know they’re busy but at least answer the phone and say hold on. I wanted to order a catering order for $500. But they missed out so not a big fan of this Place. Hope they can do better. That’s the bare minimum answer the phone say hello. Please hold something or get an entry Service or you know receptionist, but she’s losing Business but not answering the phone. And the reason I didn’t go inside. Was because there isn’t any parking. That’s a shame also.
